Decades ago, mankind made a shocking discovery. The old gods of myth and legend had once existed in all the splendor we had imagined, but had been mysteriously exterminated in the distant past.
Now many years later a mysterious group known only as the agency has begun to work towards resurrecting the old deities through modern cloning. By combining the remains of the genetic materials of the old ones with that of modern humans they have created a race of crossbreeds capable of channeling the powers of their progenitors.
You are the latest generation of these beings, and you are soon to learn that the world you've been born into is not a friendly one. The agency you serve is at best unfeeling towards you, seeing you as a tool to be used and tossed away when convenient, the enemies you face are legion possessing fanatical soldiers and spearhead by powerful commanders with powers not dissimilar to your own.
It is up to you and your comrades to decide whether or not you can survive. This tempest is not one that can be weathered alone.
