Defining Features: Greek nose, prominent brow. Very curly hair
True Form: A couple inches taller when you count the extra height that the hooves give. The hooves themselves are a dark chestnut, nearly brown and are covered by the dark fur that sprouts over his hind legs. It's highlighted a bit red, but only in the sun. They are strong, but not nearly as bulky as some of the other Satyr. The thick fur that sprouts on his lower half rises somewhat onto his chest and upper body, but in a growth pattern similar to humans. His tail is dark, and as smooth and curly as the hair on top of his head. A stripe of white is on the bottom half of the tail, almost like a deer. At the top of his head grow two horns, curled and medium in size. They are sharp on the ends and are only a few inches tilted up from his long, wide ears. Again, more like a goat than a man or a horse. He runs better in this form, as well.

» PERSONALITY;
Like most satyr, there is a darker shade to Aurelius. He's not mean, nor is he aggressive-- his dark side comes as a lust. Lust for knowledge, lust for carnal desires, and lust for debauchery. It's an insatiable taste when triggered, so it's difficult to bring him down from that place. It's usually caused by a combination of emotional arousal and some form of alcohol, but it was more prominent in his youth as well. He's refined with age, acquiring more of a sage knowledge than impulsive interference. His tempers are smoldered, his emotional lunges are subdued, and he has become quite the scholar. Perhaps atypical for a man of his age, much younger than most of the satyrs who reach that stage in their personalities. His curiosity has never faded, however. He cares deeply for those close to him, and is likely to throw his life on the line for loved ones.

She's not vulnerable when her guards are up, and when she's in an environment she is unfamiliar in, she's usually on her toes. She knows logic, reason and is pragmatic. She was praised for her conscientiousness in school, and made sure to keep up her habits. She's organized, on-time and capable of balancing a lot of responsibilities. Ali can be a bit snarky, maybe a bit sarcastic, but her humor is just a bit dry. With her daughter she's much softer, and there's a lack of the edge she usually carries. Her voice is lower, and she shows her affection with her kid. She values her child above most things in life, and only hopes to instill the same values she had growing up in her.

» BIOGRAPHY;
Ali had a simple life. A caring, affectionate mother. A hard-hearted, but gregarious father. Middle-class, dad worked full-time and mom worked part-time. The Talbot's were a close bunch, and Ali couldn't think of a time where she didn't have family surrounding her. Aunts, cousins, grand-parents: they were all there. They were a conservative family, and fairly religious. Alison, as a child, had no qualms with that. She didn't know any other life anyway, so she saw no reason to make a fuss of it. As she got older, the less than conservative public-schooling she was getting began to color her world a bit. A few uncertainties arose, mostly in the views of her family. Where they were once tight-knit, it started to be considered exclusive. They showed their true colours when Ali dared to question one of her grand-parents. They turned on her, gaslighting the girl till she gave up on the whole discussion entirely.

It only got worse from there, with Ali and her father growing a rift between them. It started when her mom got sick, and only got worse from there. When she passed away, then it all went to hell. They fought constantly. Her dad still worked all the time and Ali just wanted a parent again. There was other family, but they were siding with her father. How could such she be so selfish? So inconsiderate? Her mother would be ashamed of her behaviour.

Ali rebelled. Against the church, against her family. She wanted to make her own life, away from all of them. It took a while before she was finally given the key to the silver gates.

It came in the form of a pink plus sign.

They disowned her immediately; a child out of wedlock? Was she crazy? She was young, but she didn't care. She loved the man, at the time, and he said he'd take care of her. He did take care of her. Once Lily was born they wed, and were married for a majority of Lily's life. The family moved away, of course, and made their own roots.

Some years later, the marriage began to dissolve. There just wasn't a spark anymore, and the life was gone. The love was gone. Ali was heartbroken, still head-over-heels for the man that gave her a new life and a new reason to love. He had his own ideas, as it happened, and was insistent on the divorce. They stayed together for a few months, for Lily's sake, but it became unbearable when he found a new girlfriend. Someone much younger, and prettier (according to Ali). Instead of resenting him, she let him go. She tried to move on and be adult, but the girl had been forced to grow up so fast before then that it was hard to finally face a different kind of truth.

That was two years ago, and now the girls have made the most out of their situation. Lily's dad still gives money, but no communication, and Ali could only hope he realizes he might regret leaving a family behind. Ali works as an illustrator for children's books, and sells her paintings on the side.

Her calves and thighs are bulging with muscles covered in a thick white matted pelt, better to insulate in the snow. Her fur trails up her hips before blending at the very last rib. Her chest bare and unprotected by fur, not uncommon in the species. She has the face of a human, but the bullnose and black eyes of an elk/deer that fit her delicate face. Her ears protruded lowly from her head like a deer.Her hair is long and gray, thick braids she usually keeps it in hangs around her chest. A patch of short thick brown hair sprouts from her collarbones and travels down her cleavage and out blending into her ribs. Her horns resemble that of a ram and curl tightly against itself.

Personality: She is quite passive with her interaction unless alcohol is involved then she wants to be the center of attention and feel like she is special. She sees people for their brains and intelligence and likes to have deep conversations rather than small talk. She is a problem solver in every sense of the word.
