Bio- Arvid was the firstborn of the Bjarnesen dynasty, a Swedish/Norweigen hybrid kingdom that ruled in Norway. He was born to his mother, a healer and Sheildmadien named Astrid, and his father, the warrior king Magnus. The very same man who United the lands around Birsig and carved out a kingdom for himself. Arvid was raised by teachings in martial skill by his father, and medicinal by his mother. Soon, after Magnus had died, Arvid ascended to the throne. He is not without competition though, his ever competitive middle brother Hjalmar has been eying the kingdom for a while now.

She helped out other families in the settlement by looking after their children while they went about their day, these children being her only company that didn't ask why she had yet to have her own, most people frowned upon her for not being loyal to her husband and give him a child, but she could not, this man treated her worse than the dogs, she did everything a wife should do, cook and clean, of cause she lay with him, she just did not will for a child.

The way he handles his jobs can be shocking, with one job's aftermath being a small camp slaughtered in varying ways. This is how he earned his first name the Dark Mercenary. For the other name, it is unknown why he has it. Some say it is just a title he earned, and others say he is an actual king. It is truly unknown which case it is. He is very quiet, and can slip through an entire camp. If stealth fails he will fight with his blade and if given time to hide, he can be hard to find again for he has mastered the art of stealth.

First her father died in battle, then her mother, both died in viking raids. So Sadime grew a vengeful hatred towards the vikings. Sadime is now one of the best strategic warriors there are in Europe, and known to be one of the smartest.

He is content to let the feud between his older brothers Hjalmar and Arvid boil over before he finally strikes.

*Bio: As the youngest of the three brothers, Sigr has always felt disregarded and pushed away. By the time he was trained for combat, his older brothers could easily (and often did) beat up on him. So he sharpened his mind. What he lacks in physical ability he makes up for with tactical prowess and cunning.


He does not use a sword as well as most, but his eyesight is keen. With a bow in his hands he can take on most enemies quickly. Shooting from behind also allows him to better command his soldiers, thus making use of his battlefield knowledge.

Personality: Harald is a curious man, both in mind and in action. He can seem fun-loving and cheerful one moment, and then mindlessly ferocious the next. The only son of his father, Inghard, who died when he was just a teen, Harald has spent his whole life preparing for invasion from their rival Bersig, and from the other kingdom to the south, ruled by Agnar. In Harald's mind, Agnar was just as ambitious as Magnus, and neither king owed the small Jarldom of Hagevik any loyalty.


Harald is a fierce bulwark for his people, and the pressure from being sandwiched between two kingdoms has led him to make staunch reforms in the Jarldom. Harald has done more trading than raiding with the west, and his village's wealth has increased as a result.


Bio: With his father's passing died a legend, and fear was born in Hagevik. Would Bersig invade again? Would Egersund come to their aid if that happened? Uncertainty clouded the people's minds in the first year of his rule, and the fact that Harald was young at the time made it worse.


A raiding party launched an attack on the village, flying no banners. 150 men piled into the harbor at night and Harald was forced to lead the defense of his city. Beating them back, they were unable to take any prisoners but had managed to easily slay over 80 of the attackers. The fact that their identity still remains secret has only fueled the fires of paranoia in Harald, and in his people.


Still, it is a healthy dose of skepticism. In a world where the people believe everything is fated, Harald constantly seeks to defy the odds, and fate itself. At the end of the day, the only people who matter to him are the people in his village. The rest of the world can burn.

Although they were assassins this cult also takes care of burials and caretakers for the dead, offering the gift of death to those who no longer wish to live and taking the lives of anyone for a price. The cult has had a perfect record for killing their targets, able to blend into any environment and endure any amount of pain so long as their contract was fulfilled. Argeus was quickly able to start his assassin work at the young age of 16 following the Cults tenants of becoming 'nobody'. Argeus continues serving in the cult to this day contracted by Sigir to kill his brothers so that he may take the throne

He is not much for strategy or diplomacy but he is a powerful warrior who demands respect from his people and other leaders.


Bio: Hafthor was born a freak of nature, easily as tall as a grown man at the age of ten and growing to be just shy of seven feet tall, weighing in at a monsterous 400lbs. Suspected of being half giant he was feared and respected by his people, only more so when he killed his earl at the age of sixteen in single combat, becoming the new earl. It was from this point that Hafthor began putting in place a strict society of warriors, training many young boys personally so that his people would become infamous for the strength of their warriors even though they were not as populous as surrounding earldoms and kingdoms. Being so far north farming also produces very little food for his people, and thus their war like culture relies on the raiding of other lands to keep his people alive. Due to this Hafthor and his raiding parties have become rightfully feared in scandinavia and the british isles. It is now, with his earldom stronger than it has ever been that Hafthor has set his eyes on the conquest of surrounding lands, hoping to eventually conquer all of scandinavia.
