hi! i am obsidian, and go by he/him pronouns. feel free to ignore the lack of capitalization in this thread since it's purely for aesthetical reasons. ic (in-character) responses would be probably formatted, and i'd expect the same from you. private messages are also highly preferred for role-playing, but i am open to using discord for chatting out-of-character!
it's intended to be a fandom-focused request thread, and i'll be updating the list over time to include as well. i usually dislike rambling on unless we are brainstorming something, and so i'll just keep this very straightforward. i am also not huge on formatting & so while it might seem rather bare-bones, i can provide a writing sample if you'd like to see one first.
expectations/what i am looking for:
• i am only interested in canon/canon pairings; however, i'd be glad to double where i write an original one for you. but i'd still require you to write a canon character in return.
• both m/f or f/f pairings are fine, but i highly prefer the former (with me writing as the male character).
• i prefer to post multiple paragraphs per response, and can write quite a lot. please do not give me one-liners; it makes me lose interest immediately.
• it should go without saying, but you should be familiar enough with the characters & the lore to portray them accurately.
• i love talking ooc & it'd be great if you do as well, but this is definitely not a "requirement" by any means.
• please be able to post at least once in two weeks. i am not ghost-friendly, and if you lose interest at some point, it'd be nice if you give a heads-up. i'd obviously extend the same courtesy.
it's not a definitive list, and so feel free to ask me about any other fandoms! as for plots, i have many in mind already depending on what character/fandom(s) you're interested in. so just hit me up so that we can begin brainstorming.

i have a preference for anime-focused stories, and so would probably request any of the girls in the original anime. as for the games, i'd lean towards either zinnia, may (from R/S/E & the 3d remakes), cynthia, whitney, sabrina, or erika.
