GHOST TYPES:
Banshee: A banshee is from Irish folklore. The Banshee is a reaper-like creature that reaps the souls who die. Banshees will only target and kill one individual person at a time. This means that the person who is targeted is unable to escape the Banshee, unless 'far away' to a long length. This also means that the Banshee may even go to the extent of exiting the building just to kill the targeted person, or even neglect Crucifixes. This behavior is rare though. Clues for which FRIGHT will know it is a Banshee would be the use from an EMF Reader showing Level 5, Freezing/Cold Temperatures, and Ghost Orbs. (Through Cameras, Night Vison Goggles, or the Video Hand Camera taken responsible from the one holding it.)
Wither: Withers are decayed spooks which have lost their sanity over the centuries it's been around, thus, draining your sanity faster than any ghost. Clues for which FRIGHT will know it is a Wither would be from the findings or use of Freezing Temperatures, Ghost Orbs, and Gas.
Demon: The demon is one of the worst ghost types you can find. It is very aggressive in nature and can easily kill you. Demons are the most dangerous ghosts to face, even further being claimed by the community and the 'creator' (one who caused it's death). As it is the most aggressive out of all ghosts, they spark lots of activities such as door movement and hunting the hunters. It is recommended to take caution and watch how many times it hunts to truly determine if it is a demon by guessing. Clues for which FRIGHT will know it is a Demon would be the use of a Spirit Book, Freezing Temperatures, and toxins. Toxic-trait too-and toxins are both related due to being able to kill living life forces. Sometimes FRIGHT brings along animals-birds or rats in this case-to test if the ghost would kill the animal or not. The animal is put into a cage, and if it dies when left alone, it is concluded to have the ghost 'Toxin, and releasing Toxins.'
Shade: The shade is a shy ghost. It will perform actions mostly when people are alone. Clues for which FRIGHT will know it is a Shade would be the use of a EMF Reader showing level 5, Talking through the Spirit Box, and Ghost orbs. (Through Cameras, Night Vison Goggles, or the Video Hand Camera taken responsible from the one holding it.)
Poltergeist: A poltergeist is a very noisy ghost. It is easy to identify by the actions it performs. Poltergeists are noisy types of ghost that tend to fiddle around in their environment. They may throw objects, open or close doors continuously, and even cut the Fuse off more often. You can tell when these actions are performed by the poltergeist if it is sudden and comes with a sound effect or such. Poltergeists are also aggressive ghosts, which means they are relentless and engage in hunts more often. Clues for which FRIGHT will know it is a Poltergeist would be from the use or findings of the Spirit Box, Freezing/Cold temperatures, and Ghost orbs.
Ghoul: A ghoul is a spirit that came back to Earth in physical form and is often mistaken for a zombie. Ghouls are more active when there is an increase of people staying together, which also means it hunts more often when people are in groups. Clues for which FRIGHT will know it is a Ghoul would be from the use of a Spirit Book, Toxic (Explained in Demons)
Spectre: A spectre's soul has gone halfway to the other side however, the other half is still stuck on Earth. Like Spooks, Spectres move exceptionally fast, but only in the dark. Do not mistaken a Spectre for a Spook! Clues for which FRIGHT will know it is a Spectre would be the uses or findings of the EMF Reader showing Level 5, Spirit Book, and Gas.
Whisper: Whispers are more active in the dark, which means to have a higher chance of collecting Evidence, the lights are recommended to be off. Clues for which FRIGHT will know it is a Whisper would be from the findings or use of a Spirit Box, EMF Reader showing Level 5, and Freezing/Cold Temperatures.
Spook: The original ghost stayed in the living world after failing to go to the other side. Spooks move exceptionally faster than any ghost. This means that running away from the ghost during a hunt is almost impossible, and is not worth trying without a Crucifix. Clues for which FRIGHT will know it is a Spook would be from the findings or use of the EMF Reader showing Level 5, Spirit Book, and Gas.
Spirit: A spirit is a spirit who is stuck in the real world instead of having ascended beforehand. Clues for which FRIGHT will know it is a Spirit would be the use of a Spirit Book, Cold/Freezing Temperatures, and Ghost orbs (Through Cameras, Night Vison Goggles, or the Video Hand Camera taken responsible from the one holding it.)
ITEMS:
Spirit Box: The Spirit Box is a ghost hunting tool that attempts to capture EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomena) by scanning through radio frequencies, potentially allowing players to hear ghostly voices or responses when they ask questions while the device is active; it's essentially a way to try and communicate with spirits by listening for distorted audio fragments that might form coherent words when interpreted correctly.
EMF Reader: The EMF Reader can be used to detect the EMF Level in a particular room. If it hits Level 5, The ghost is most likely dangerous, high classed.
Thermometer: The thermometer is a tool that can be used to read the temperature of the nearby environment.
Spirit Book: The Spirit Book is an item that allows Ghosts to write it in. If words appear in the book, they can be used as Evidence.
NV Camera/Goggles/Cameras: The NV Camera was used to find Ghost Orbs as Evidence, which are practically invisible without the Camera, The NV Camera also used served as a Night Vision goggles. However, it wasn't very effective at actually letting you see in the dark.
Bird/Rat Cage: The Bird/Rat Cage can be used to detect toxic gases in a room. You can leave the bird in a room and it will constantly make loud squawking/chittering sounds every now and then.
Lanterns: The Lantern is a light-producing Item that produces light around itself in an area, unlike the Flashlight which only produces light in the direction you are looking. Despite the Lantern being much more brighter than the Flashlight, it has a much shorter radius range of lighting than the Flashlight.
Flashlights: The Flashlight is a light-producing item that shines light in front of you. Despite it being dimmer than the Lantern, it has a much longer range to shine light onto, but it can only shine at where you are looking.
Crucifix: The Crucifix can be used to temporarily subdue a ghost. If used, the ghost will stop the hunt, disappear, or (temporarily) not kill you.
Air Scanner: Gas can be found by using the Air Scanner, where Phosphine can be detected. Every ghost will emit some Phosphine, however, if the Phosphine level hits a value of 10 or more, it can be used that the Ghost has Gas.
