Where: On the train

Interacting: Himself

Mood: Excited, nervous, and tired

aaaHiroshi heard the alarm clock go off. With a groan and a quick realization of what time it was, he shot up and stared repeating the words to himself. "Ohayo!" He said, turning off the alarm clock. He furrowed his eyebrows. 'That sounded dumb...' He thought, trying again, "Ohayo." He tried, changing into his uniform, disliking how monotoned it sounded. "Ohayo~!" He tried, sighing at how overly happy it sounded. 'You're not trying to confess to her...' He thought, looking at himself in the mirror and attempting ot fix his hair, though miserably failing. "O-ohayo..." He tried. 'That sounds like your usual self.' He thought, waving off his hair and going off to his side table to put on some cologne and deodorant. "Ohayo, Hara-kun!" He said, shaking his head furiously. 'You haven't even met her yet. How do you even know her name?!' He thought, letting out a frusterated groan and trying over, and over, and over again to try and get it right while he got ready, though failing everytime.

aaaaaaaHe grabbed his book bag, waved his 14 year old sister, Ririna, goodbye and fast walked out of the door, towards the train station. He barely caught the words she said, and when he finally realized she said, "You need to stop talking to yourself every morning," he laughed. It was already almost 8:00, which was when his ride arrived on train car #2. When Hiroshi finally arrived, he had to practically run to get onto the train in time and take his usual seat. The boy next to him was sleeping, as always. He let out a quiet chuckle as he began to feel nervous. He was excited, and slightly worried that if he didn't say 'Good morning' today, he wouldn't have a chance to talk to her for the next two days, which would be dreadful for him. He began running through the ways he was thinking about saying it until he noticed that the train was ready to take the second stop, which would be when Natsumi got on. "Come on, man! Don't wimp out again!" He told himself quietly before sititng up and looking around frantically to make sure no one heard him. When he was sure no one did, he let out a quiet, shaky sigh. His nerves were jumping all over the place, waiting for the bus to stop.

E-eh? Love? N-nope! Never experienced it!
Natsumi Hara

BEEP, BEEP, BEEP! BEEP, BEEP, BEEP! BEEP, BEEP, BEEP!

Before another cry could escape her alarm, Natsumi reached up and turned the device off. "Ohayo!" The brunette winced at her own chirp as she rubbed her eyes with a frown. "Too excited..." A sigh fell from her mouth as the girl sat upwards, glancing out the window to her right side. On any other day, the sun beaming at her would be an encouragement, but it was Friday. That meant the weekend would follow, and then her chance to talk to that certain someone would be ruined for the two day break. "I have to do it today!" She declared to the thin air before hopping out of the comforts of the bed and began her morning routine.

"Oh! Ohayo~!" The girl beamed to her fully clothed reflection, her shoulders slumping slightly as she pouted. "Not cute enough, Sumi!" She skipped over to her perfumes and began to spray her neck and wrist. "A-ah! O-ohayo gozaimasu!" With a blush, she shook her head madly. "He might think I've been practicing..." Honestly... Natsumi began to ponder of 'hello's were the most awful words in the world as she made her way down the stairs to prepare some breakfast. Luckily for her, her parents had already left for work, so she was able to get some work on that pesky greeting without embarrassment. "From the top! Goodo morning! ... No, no, no! All wrong!" This was going to take a while...

With plenty of time left, she began to skip towards the train station, her fists clenched in determination as she murmured the perfect 'hello'. Well, as close to perfect as the girl could get. Perfection wouldn't be possible with her fussy little head. "Natsumii!~" The girl blinked and twirled around as her name was called, angry was greeted by a warm hug by her preppy friend. "Ohayo!" The other chimed with a grin, and Natsumi offered her a smile. "O-ohayo, Sachiko-chan!" Don't be too alarmed now; by friend, what is really meant is cousin. Both girls took the same train at the same time, but to both completely different schools. It was nice, in a sense, to not be alone, but the lively Sachiko easily put the nervous Natsumi into a blushing frenzy with her loud and outspoken personality. That, and there was always the fact Hiroshi maybe would like the offer girl better... 'D-D-Don't get ahead of yourself, Sumi!" She scolded herself inwardly as Sachiko took her hand and lead the pair to platform #2, and they awaited for the second boarding car together. As a result, Natsumi couldn't practice anymore, and so when the train came into sight her heart jumped into her throat.

Here goes nothing.

8:07 came, and the doors opened for the two girls. Sachiko entered with a laugh before waving Natsumi off. The honey eyed girl gulped. This was it. She took a step into the boarding car with baited breath, and looked to her side. There Hiroshi was, with everyone else looking as sleepy as ever. "Same ol', same ol'..." She mumbled softly. 'Say it, say it! C'mon! Ohayo!' The girl screamed internally as she passed the other teen to her usual spot. Of course, the ohayo never came on her part, and she felt herself deflate yet again. It felt like this would never happen...

Where: On the train

Interacting: No one

Mood: Dissapointed and bummed

aaaHiroshi was ready when the doors opened... kind of. Not as ready as he thought he was. Right when the doors opened and he caught her eye, he forgot how to breathe. She looked as beautiful as always, but it seemed to surprise him everytime. No matter how much his head was yelling at himself to say the three syllable word, but it never happened. His eyes just followed her smiling face until sher eached her usual spot. He mentally cursed to himself and let out a very long and dramatic sigh before leaning against the seat, stuffing his hands in his pockets and staring at the ceiling, squinting slightly. Most wouldn't dare to glance over at him, since he looked absolutely pissed off. 'And you let her go again. Have fun kicking yourself over the weekend and dreaming the dreams that will never come true.' He thought, pouting slightly, but unnoticably. He was really, really upset that he failing miserably... again.

aaaHe continued like that for a very long time. He had spaced out for so long, that he almsot missed his stop, but gladly, he saw the boy next to him leave, and so he left as well, knowing he leaves when the boy does. Hiroshi casted a glance at Natsumi, trying to work himself up to say 'Good morning' since there was still time until they got to the school... But his friends intruded before he could even get close to the girl.

aaa"Hey, Hiroshi-chan~!" The happiest boy, Akihiko, called out, jogging over to him, interupting his thoughts as his gaze transferred to the boy. "Ohayo." He said, pouting and resting his head on the boy's shoulder. "Meh...." He said as the boy rubbing his back. "Didn't say it?" He asked, already knowing th answer, "Let's get you to school." He said, casting him a smile. Hiroshi forced himself off of his shoulder and started walking, telling him everything that happened as they approached the school. Akihiko nodded, comforting him along the way.

aaa"Sounds terrible." He said, the corners of his lips tugging down into a frown. "Kind of is." Hiro said, feeling better now that he's ranted to someone. "Thanks, Akihi-chan." He said, a grin now on his face instead of a frown. The boy smiled back and raced off towards another group of friends as he went inside of the building. Even though he felt a bit better, he was still obviously bummed. Even though he looked less terrifying than usual, people cleared the way as he walked donw the hall. Hiroshi noticed that almost everyone was too scared to approach him even though he isn't such a bad person, he just was protecting his friends when it happened.

aaaHiroshi sighed once last time and entered the classroom, sitting down at his seat that was three desks away from Natsumi. 'She looked really cute today...' He thought, smiling softly as he stared at her desk. His eyes then widened slightly, making sure no one was looking at him before he shifted in his seat and rested his head on his desk and waited for somebody interesting to walk through the door.

... Even if I did, I don't think I'd be able to express it...
Natsumi Hara

By the time the girl had reached her spot on the train, her inward beatdown of herself would have left her with a body full of bruises. Of course; on the outside, Natsumi looked as if she had not a care in the world. A bubbly, sweet smile adorned her features, and the reasoning was for two things. One; so the world wouldn't see the internal struggle she was having over a simple greeting, and two; for Hiroshi. If he noticed the fact she beamed at everyone, maybe he'd like her too...? Maybe the last reasoning was too far fetched... 'Of course it is. Don't be silly. Natsumi sighed inwardly and allowed herself to zone out until the train paused for them to head to their school.

Her feet automatically dragged the girl out of the cart and for the second time that day, she was dragged into a hug. "Sumi-chan! You're late, y'know?" A pouting Sayaka announced as she released the other. "I'm actually on time, you're just impatient." She giggled to her best friend as she returned the hug. Natsumi had already explained the situation with her and her crush to the other girl, and they made a point as to not vocalise any conversations with him in it. Why, I hear you wonder? Well, a certain someone gets so flustered that she runs away if he's brought up enough times.

As the two girls pulled away from their embrace and began to walk together, talking about silly nonsense, Sayaka raised a brow; 'Did you do it?' Was the question, and she responded with a disappointed shake of her head and a slight blush. "There's always next time! Besides, you're too cute not to notice!" The other squealed and got a slap up the head. "He's going to hear you...!" Pause. "... Oh yeah..."

With that, the conversation on the boy ended, and the two arrived at the school and met up with their small group of friends. Laughter, smiles, squeaks and random words were thrown all around as they paraded the school building to find their classrooms. Natsumi responded occasionally, but overall was quiet. She was pretty disappointed with herself for not giving the greeting she had been rehearsing for weeks to the boy yet again. Every failed attempt felt like a slap to the face, and that numbness never failed to show up after every failure. The brunette began to question whether the day would finally come and they'd be able to speak; if so, she prayed it come soon.

"See you at lunch!" She chirped to her friends as they parted- Natsumi was in a class where none of them were- and she entered the room. Her eyes immediately caught a hold on Hiroshi, his forehead causally leaning against his desk, and it brought a gentle smile to play on her lips. He looked adorable, as always... Realising she was most likely staring, Natsumi's eyes widened in the slightest and a cherry blossom pink took over her features. Quickly, she focused her gaze on her own desk and made her way there, quietly taking out her things. She made an extra effort not to glance over to her side and look at Hiroshi; the crush would be too noticeable if she continued to watch him. Well, that, and she'd probably turn completely red and dart out of the classroom. Oh, why was she cursed with being so shy?

Where: In the classroom

Interacting: Ririna

Mood: Surprised and confused, a bit annoyed

Hiroshi heard the door slide open but he didn't move. He couldn't face Natsumi now! Especially if she looks as cute as she does today. He sat up and yawned, stretching his arms by putting them behind his head. When he finished, he wiped the small tears that had gathered in his eyes and grabbed his pencil and a slip of paper, ready for class to begin. He didn't have any close friends in his Homeroom, the class was full of wimps so none of them would approach him unless he started the conversation first, which doesn't happen because of his shy personality.

Suddenly, the classroom doors swing open and a certain fourteen year old girl who just happened to be Ririan came charging at him.
"Nee-chan~!" She yelled, attacking him with a hug. He sat there, eyebrows furrowed as he just sat there. "M-may I he-help you..?" He asks, awkwardly patting her head while getting stares from his other classmates. When he noticed, his ears turned a light pink. "Can I go shopping with my friends after school?" She asks, using her puppy eyes and smiling her mischevious grin. Hiroshi looked up to the window and saw that it appeared to be close to raining. 'Seems like the clouds are going to cry for me.' He thought, looking back down at Ririan.

"H-how ma-many a-are go-going?" He asks, knowing that safety in numbers is always good when it comes to cute little girls. "Mmmh..... Five or so." Ririan said, ignoring the whispers of the other students. "O-okay. B-be ca-caref-ful. Call i-if yo-you need an-anyth-thing." He said, emphasizing 'anything'. He pulled out his wallet and gave her quite a lot of money. She beamed and hugged him, whispering in his ear, "Did you do it?" Before pulling away and seeing him look dissapointed and shake his head. She let out a sigh and used her fist the tap his forehead. "Don't be so glum! There's still time." She said, smiling and skipping off.

Hiroshi let out a long sigh as he ignored the continuous stared and let out a 'tsk' before casting a glance at Natsumi, his ears reddening further. He grummbled some words under his breathe and buried his head into his arms on the desk, waiting for class to begin.

I almost forgot he had a sister... They seem to be pretty close too... I-I wonder what Hiroshi would treat me like...
Natsumi Hara

Just as Natsumi began to fall into the comforts of her own mind, the door of the classroom was practically thrown open. She blinked, intrigued, and saw a girl leap on to Hiroshi. For a second, the girl could practically feel her heart sink into the depths of her stomach as a numbing sensation ran over her, but as the newcomer announced him as her older brother, the weight of the world fell from her shoulders. She felt like sobbing and laughing in relief, but that'd make everyone stare at her; something she didn't want. However, she did allow a gentle smile to play on her lips in relief.

Silently, she listened to the interaction as she grabbed her pencil and idly began to doodle. It was a little nosey, but hey, could you blame the bored girl? The siblings could have been talking about anything! Love, girlfriends, dating, crushes... Anything! So... It was interesting... Kinda. None of the above was mentioned, which cheered the brunette up a little, and her smile grew a little.

Once the other girl skipped out of the room, Natsumi began to give herself some prep talk. Now was the time she'd talk to him. The desk between them were still empty- the students that sat there were joking with friends at the other side of the room- and so she knew that if she spoke up, he'd definitely know it was him he was referring to. "O-Ohayo! You two seem close, hmm?" She murmured under his breath, shutting her eyes tightly momentarily. The girl repeated the sentence three more times before releasing a shaky sign and opened her eyes. She put on her sweetest smile, and turned in her sea so she could face Hiroshi better. "Oh-"

Her sentence was interrupted as their teacher sauntered into the room, and her eyes went wide, face paling. 'Oh, no, oh, no, oh no!' Natsumi was screaming inwardly as a deep red began to paint over her cheeks. She couldn't speak now! But what if he noticed?! She began to panic and thought of the lamest plan on the planet. "Oh... Oh! Achoo!" The girl brought her hands over her mouth and nose as she 'sneezed'- rather well actually, might I add. "Bless you, Hara-san." A boy behind her spoke up, and she shot him an embarrassed smile. "T-thank you." And with that, she turned to face the front again, her nails digging into the palms of her hands.

Mood: Neutral - Excited

Hiroshi turned his head towards Natsumi, thinking she was about to say something, but she only sneezed. He was about to say 'Bless you' out of kindness, another boy already did. He sent a 'Thank you' look, though he wasn't paying attention. Even if he was, most would've probably thought it was a glare, considering his reputation, although it was nice of the boy to bless her.

He looked back at Natsumi, slightly blushing.
'She's so cute...' He thought, holding his breathe so that he doesn't do anything he may regret. He turned his attention towards the teacher and listened to what he had to do, throwing glances at the girl while doing so.

~Time Skip~

When the bell for lunch to start rang, he felt relieved. This was his last chance to greet Natsumi.
"Ohayo, Hara-kun." He whispered, thinking it was good enough for the time being. "Ohayo, Hara-kun." He said, adding a bit more confidence. He took a deep breathe, getting up to approach the beautiful girl, until the classroom doors swung open again. This time, it was five boys. One of them being Akihiko. Akihiko's the funny one out of the group. He's quite caring and likes to make sure his friends know he cares, he's also kind of the glue that holds everyone together. The second one is Kuzuki, who's the serious, more intellectual one. He could probably care less about everything except his acedemics and friends. He's pretty heartless when it comes to everyone other than his friends, with them, he's quite protective, kind of like a mother. The third is Gaara, the cute one of the group. He gets fawned over the most since he's the smallest, most interesting, and, well... cute. He's there to comfort and give cuddles, so basically the child of the group. And the last one is Kyo, the outgoing, active one. He's into all of the sports and more like the leader of the group since he's the loudest and most confident of them all.

Basically, they're the Ouran Host Club of the school.

Gaara greeted him fist, attacking his waist with hugs. "Hiro-chan~!" He chanted, nuzzling his head into the side of his stomache. "H-hey..." He said, sounding a bit dissapointed. Akihiko came came in after him, smiling. "Mind if we steal you away for a bit?" He asks, subtly winking at him. Hiroshi opened his mouth to make and excuse but Kuzuki cut him off, "You have no choice." Akihiko rolled his eyes playfully, "Kyo's already at the spot, we don't want to keep him waiting!" He said, grabbing Hiroshi's lunch and then linking arms with him, dragging him out of the class.

Once they arrived to the roof, they all got situated and started to eat.
"So....." Akihiko said, a smirk playing on his lips. "Hiroshi has a crush that he didn't say 'Hi' to today." He said, throwing Hiroshi under the bus. His face turned a bright red as she slowly stuffed food into his mouth. Gaara gasped and leaned over the pil of food that they had, putting his face right infront of his. "You have a crush!?" He said, shoujo sparkles practically radiating off of him. "Woah! Since where did this shy guy have a crush?!" Kyo practically yelled, stopping everything he was doing and giving Hiroshi his attention. "U-uhm... W-well... S-since I sa-saw her." He said sheepishly, looking down at his lap. Gaara and Kyo 'awe'd and continued to eat.

They continued to tease him and ask who it was. He didn't say the name since he was to emabressed, and he practically begged Akihiko to not either, which he obliged.

... What am I even doing with my life anymore...
Natsumi Hara

The classes were over surprisingly quickly today. After what felt like ten minutes- the majority of those sneaking quick glances at Hiroshi (his concentrating face was too cute not to look at, don't judge her)- the bell sang for lunch. A collective sign of relief fell from the mouths of all the students and the room filled with chatter once more. Natsumi, however, stayed perfectly silent. After all, she had no one to actually talk to.... Unless you counted Hiroshi. But, honestly, was that ever going to happen? Internally, her mouth pulled towards as she pushed her chair backwards before raising, stretching her arms upwards with a yawn.

Just as the girl grabbed her lunch from her bag, three boys entered the room, all adorned with wide, confident smiles. Not even having to pause to ponder on who they were, the brunette immediately knew they were searching for the blonde boy not too far away from her. She wasn't a stalker or anything- they usually came into the room around this time every day, except this time they were missing a member of their crew. Maybe they were spicing up the routine a little? Who knew. Anyways, she made to leave the boys alone and join her friends in their homerooms, but the girl's ears and eyes caught on to something that intrigued her. 'Mind if we steal you away...?' Natsumi's brow furrowed in the slightest as she thought. 'And a wink? Is something going on with those two...?' Maybe she was being a little nosey, but could you blame the girl? She just wanted to have a conversation with her crush, and maybe the boys would discuss something he liked... She couldn't let this opportunity pass!

Quickly, she dashed into Sayaka's classroom, holding up her index finger as if to say 'One minute' before turning out the door. The four boys were walking down the hallway as she exited, and the girl gulped nervously, waiting until they turned a corner before following silently. Was this considered stalking? Natsumi prayed it wasn't.

Once they entered the rooftop, Natsumi paused outside the door, catching it before it fully closed. "Phew..." The brunette exhaled, taking off her shoe, wedging it in the crack, but only slightly as to not rouse any suspicion from the group conversing. And with that, she planted herself on the top step behind the door, bento on her knees, and began to listen to the conversation play out. Sadly though, Natsumi could barely hear anything... But one thing was loud and clear, and it was probably the most important thing she could have heard; "Woah! Since when did this shy guy have a crush?!" Her eyes widened, and she had to clamp her hands over her mouth to avoid from screaming back a 'Who?!'. Which one of them was the shy one again? Or perhaps the outspoken one was actually really shy, but put up the bubbly act to fool others? Or... Could it have been Hiroshi...? Oh, this was pure torture!
