The year is 2015. The Texas town of Dillon revolves around football and the local high school team, the Dillon Panthers, Who have a strong history of winning state championships.. But the death of their prized football coach, John Mack, leaves the community in a stand still. The football team took a bad turn; having it’s worst season ever that year. Two years later, the Dillon Panthers have failed to enter the playoffs two times in a row causing the PTA to step in and demand that if the Panthers do not go to the playoffs that year, the sports program at Dillon will be cut entirely. This causes the Denton family to enter the picture when Michael Denton, a retired pro football player, is asked by the principal of Dillon High School to come coach the Panthers and lead them to victory. With his family in tow, Michael moves back to his hometown with his wife, Joanna, and his daughter; Alyssa. Some residents welcome Michael and his family with open arms while others turn their backs at the new family. Will the third time be the charm for the Panthers and residents of Dillon? Follow the lives of the people in the Dillon Community as they go through everything life throws at them…

This RP is based off one of my favorite show's Friday Night Lights which is long done and I can't miss more, As I have re-watched it 6 times. This RP will follow he tight night community of Dillon driven so strongly by this high school team. You do not have to RP as a football player in fact you can RP as just a student that goes there. Role's that are needed.

All of these roles can be played as you want them to be played, not everyone is going to be a super star if you are playing as one of the football team members. My character Adrian isn't even a superstar I will go into more detail on my own character when more people choose positions. I will push the role play along but it will eventually play on it's self as each of our characters meet and the seasons progress. Nobody needs to have watched FNL or have read ti to do this but I'm hoping a good amount of people join. If you want to chose a role Make and APP with your character name and one of the roles listed if you so choose to play as one and give me a character description. No character can be perfect, Each person and player has to have their own flaws. The football games will be composed with a series of roll's which I will go into more detail in later. Please give a detailed description of your character along with a picture, here is an example.
~QB #1~ Adrian Blue
Adrian Blue is currently a sophomore at Dillon High. His mother having left the family and Adrian being left with his father, Former 2 time state champion quarter back for the dillon panthers. Adrian's father, Jackson Blue was an NFL prospect. Later going on to play for Notre Dame and winning bowl games like it was nothing. Though on his third game of his final season, Jackson suffered a terrible knee injury from a low hit. Once he recovered he was not the same mobile QB that he was before and began taking steroids to boost his ability. The NCAA had then found out about Jackson's steroid use and he was cut from the team and his dreams of football was over. As he returned to his hometown of Dillon texas to work at a gas station, 4 rings on his finger. Jackson became a heavy drinker and let out all of his anger at not being an NFL qb on his son Adrian. (Back to my character) Though being Abused often didn't make Adrian weaker but stronger and more angry. Adrian was started on football early in peewee and unlike being comforted by his parents after a bad game or play like his other peewee team mates parents would do, He was greeted with a hit to the face or more shout's about how he is a disgrace. And instead of being greeted with praise and taken to the local Dairy Freeze for some Ice cream, Adrian was greeted with words like "That wasn't good enough." or "You need to work harder." and so even at a young age he worked hard, but eventually growing up being hounded after every play even though he was clearly good, Adrian had lost interest in wanting his father to be proud and he wanted to rebel against him, thus making Adrian quit football in the 8th grade, making his father kick him out of the house at such a young age. Going to live with his closest friend (The starting Wide Receiver) he spent his 8th grade year focusing on his school and trying to get out of this city, but there wasn't one day that passed where he didn't dream of football, but not only that rumors of the old NFL star Michael Denton returning to his hometown to coach had surfaced. Adrian seeing this as a perfect opportunity to snag a ring and prove his father wrong, he rejoined the football team in 9th grade and was greeted by a whole new level of texas football. The only critics weren't just his father but the whole damn town of Dillon. His first game went horribly, he threw three interceptions before he was removed from the game and sat on the bench, The panthers lost that game and his name was being thrown around on the radio slandered. He would get dirty looks at church from fans of the football team. And he would receive threatening calls from random people. All from one game, and he was simply a kid. Though this didn't break Adrian, he continued to work at it and soon improved. After 3 more games Adrian regained his starting position and showed the world what he could do. Finishing the game 17/22 in completions, with 72 yards rushing and 132 yards passing, he showed he was a force to be reckoned with and the town began praising his name. Soon realizing football was his best bet, He began focusing all of his time to working out and perfecting his passes and foot work.This drained him and his grades began to suffer greatly. Also moving back into his father's home due to his father now being diagnosed with cancer. Adrian needs the money for his fathers Chemo, Whilst balancing his grades with the next season right around the corner and the threat of him not being able to play due to grades. Adrian is stuck with a lot on his plate and is losing faith quickly in himself.. Adrian's biggest enemy is himself and he fight's that enemy every single friday night in the place where his soul lies. The football field, underneath the Friday Night Lights~

But this is high school and most teenagers do go through a good amount especially in the town of Dillon. Make your character interesting, not 50 Tim Riggins or Smash William's or Vince Howard's.
