Fresh Blood!

Hello Everyone, I'm Trinket!

I'm 19 years old with a love of dogs, reading fantasy books and playing video games (The Elder Scrolls in particular (<3.<3))! I'm looking for a new place to call home and RP comfortably and happily with other passionate writers, and I hope RPNation will be just so.

I can't wait to get to know and RP with some of you, so feel free to talk to me about anything (especially dogs!)

What's your opinion on Cesar "The Dog Whisperer" Milan? :)

Greetings and salutations!

Welcome to RP Nation, where Roleplay is our business.

You've found us, congratulations for choosing the best RP site on the whole intertubes, we're glad you're here and a part of the expanding universe that is RP Nation. Also, now you're officially one of the cool kids.

Before you being your quest to becoming one of the old hats here at RPN, please do take a second and take a look at the site rules. You can find them here: INFO - Official Site Rules | RpNation.com - Best Roleplay Forum.

Unlike the Pirate code, they aren't more like suggestions but rules that we take a bit seriously. If, however, you've got a few pieces of eight you'd like to swing our way, we're always more than happy to take it. (I said, the rules weren't suggestions, never said we weren't piratey mate).

Once you've had a glance over the rules there's more information to be had here: Site Questions & Information | RpNation.com - Best Roleplay Forum. You can find something there to answer just about any question you might have.

Now then, I know that you have to answers that you're wanting answered now and the first is, you can join any RP that is open. You can find the different RP genres here: Roleplays | RpNation.com - Best Roleplay Forum

They're set up by genre so if you're looking for that Belgariad fandom RP (sorry, none yet exists here) then you'll know you aren't going to be looking in the futuristic genre. Each genre has an interest check at the top of the page and you can peruse this to see if anyone is wanting to create an RP.

If you are trolling the RPs and you just gotta make your own futuristic version of the Elenium, then you can pick the genre (future or fandom? I don't know!) and create an interest check. In the interest check you can tell the whole world about your RP and what you want to do with it. If you get enough people to say Aye! then you create your RP.

If you have any questions, issues, or concerns, don't hesitate to get in touch with either the moderators of your forum (the genre), the Super moderators, or even the admin staff. You can do that here: Site Questions & Information

If you have any questions you need to address to me, please tag me in your comments as I don't always get to every single response in every welcome thread and I end up missing a lot of questions. You can do that by using the @ before my handle.

Again, welcome to RPN and happy RPing.

@Xylin Thanks for the welcome! As for Cesar Milan, I'm not as familiar with him as I probably should be, I've seen a few of his shows though and it is quite impressive.

I <3 dogs and ES too. We should totes be BFF's for like erver. BRBTTYLXOXOLMAOROFLLOL.

On an unrelated note, welcome to RPnation. Where the Weebs and Otakus run free

Welcome to RPN! I'm also a Skyrim fan, enough that I named my sugar glider Vex, after the thief. What's your favorite dog breeds?

@Kestrel Thanks! Oh my goodness, I cannot even tell you how close we were to buying a Sugar Glider, and I adore their name <3! I was considering naming one of my Giant Land Snails after Paarthurnax or Alduin, because they kinda have dragon-y looking faces.

I can't really pick a single favourite dog breed, I have four puppers at home at the minute; 2 Shih Tzus- one of which is pregnant!-, a Bichon Frisé (my boy!), and a Yorkshire Terrier, but I've had a Boxer in the past and she just reminded me of Nana from Peter Pan. But then there's also Great Danes who are just giant dopey forever-pups on stilts haha.

(Sorry for rambling but PUPPIES FOR EVERYONE!) What's yours?

We had an Old English when I was a wee youngin', called Poppy and she was wild she would get so excited and run so fast she would take off almost completely up the walls, and she didn't even stop when she ran me over hahaha. But I do love them, lovely big bundles of floof.

Like you, it's hard to pick one. I love Samoyeds, huskies, German shepherds, herding dogs, etc... I just love animals. If I get another glider, I'll probably name them after other Skyrim characters. Good luck with the upcoming puppies. While everyone is sharing photos:

Koda is a Belgian MaliniosxRhodesian Ridgeback, we think. Jake is a purebred black lab.

Hello! are you playing on steam :P ?
aaaaa all your puppies and non-puppies are so sweet! Thank you for sharing them! ♥u♥
Thanks! They're pretty sweet most of the time. In March, I'll be bringing Vex to school to my Bio 2 class.

That's so cool! I wanna bring my snaily babies into college buuut really there's no reason to on a Forensic Science course aha. At my old college, they had a Chameleon named George and the staff used to let him run around the desks and for some reason he always chose my pencil case to sit on? He was a sweetie though.

Just a question, do you feed Vex bugs in any form? That was the thing we were really iffy about when we were considering getting one, but if it's only like a one off thing every once in a while it might be okay.

I feed him meal worms. It's important that he gets an animal protein source daily, and in the wild, they eat bugs. Mealies, crickets, etc all work. I feed him the Pet Glider Fresh Diet (I think that's the name) supplemented by the several mealworms a day. This way, he gets insect, and something like boiled chicken or a hard boiled egg. If bugs bother you, you can get freeze dried mealworms that are already dead.

If you're still considering getting a glider, I'd recommend getting at least 2. They are very social animals, and if they get lonely, they'll get depressed and die. I hope to get a cagemate for Vex, maybe sometime this summer. He's my only glider because my older sister got him when she wasn't working or going to school, but then she got busy and gave him to me.

Thank you! It's not me they bother, especially not mealworms, but my Mum, she can just about cope with the idea that I have snails in the house haha. I think dried ones might be alright though... I'll let her know!
