this is the lore for french perfume! as of right now, it is just important towns and places and i will most likely add onto this when i can.
IMPORTANT TOWNS:
Oriasea
Oriasea is a small, fishing based town, and the marketplace is full of various fish from the sea as well as some spices and herbs. When it comes to pirates, Oriasea is very welcoming to pirates so there’s no need to worry!
Tirie
A very large town where the citizens are mostly people of wealth. This town is rich in the finest of fabrics and the richest of rum. This town is also rich in intel. Are you seeking something? Maybe a specific place? You wish to gather information before continuing on your voyage? Tirie is the place to be! But beware, Tirie hates pirates, and they will go to great lengths to try and keep pirates from entering. It’s best to not let everyone know that you are a pirate here.
Chatsa
A decently sized town. Here you can stock up on fruits and vegetables and meat. But Chatsa isn’t really fond of pirates. Not as bad as Tirie but it’s best if you watch your step here.
Aryith
The worst of the worst. In Aryith, any little thing can get you clocked in the face. Nobody here cares if you’re a pirate but it’s honestly best to not set foot in this town unless it’s really, really important. You can’t really stock up on anything here.
Padstow
A rather cozy, comfortable, and forested town complete with an inn, tavern, marketplace, and some houses. There are various things you can stock up here at Padstow. Lumber, Fresh Vegetables, Blankets, and more! But as stated it is a forested town and well… the forest seems kind of eerie really. Especially at night! If you want to go into the forest at night make sure to bring a lantern with you!
Shora
Pirate or not, the residents of this town don’t show any hospitality to outsiders like the crew of the ship. They’re pretty reserved and any questions will most likely go unanswered. The town itself is small and desolate with simple houses spotting the area. And something seems off with the residents.
IMPORTANT PLACES:
Shark Fin Cove
A very mysterious place that is defined as a place you cannot find unless you already know where it is or you end up getting lost and happen to come across this place. The entrance to the cove is in the shape of a shark fin, hence the name. Plus, the waters are infested with sharks and the only way into the cove is to get into a much smaller boat and then row your way into the cove. Legend has it that Shark Fin Cove is home to lost treasure and precious jewels. How did the treasure get there? Who put it there? Once you get past the numerous sharks and possible traps, the treasure is yours!
The Ghost Isle
A haunting place. Here the sun never shines, the sky is full of gray clouds and there’s a fog around the place. There’s a heavy atmosphere around the place and it’s very cold so be sure to stock up on blankets! It’s said that the isle, and the waters around it, are haunted and there’s tales of sailors seeing ghostly apparitions and hearing the sounds of crying and wailing. The isle itself is devoid of lush vegetation, rather the trees are dead and it’s very sandy so do not be surprised if you get sand in your boots. Are the tales of ghosts lurking here true?
Stingray Island
One might think that Stingray Isle got its name from the fact that the waters are full of stingrays. Well, that is true but it also has to do with the shape of the island. You may find patches of vegetation here but the terrain is mostly rocky so be careful.
Shiver Cove
It’s so cold here! Such a fitting name for this place! Or maybe it’s named Shiver Cove because something about this place is really off putting and can give you the shivers. Getting here is tricky though since there’s sharp rocks littered around the place. This place isn’t shark infested like Shark Fin Cove though, so no need to worry!
Tortoise Isle
This place is lush with vegetation but quite frankly it’s not an entirely big isle. Would make a good spot to wind down and relax for a little bit.
Parrot Lagoon
Another great spot to wind down and relax! And quite frankly it's a good place to get away from enemies too! There's not anything of interest at this place though.
