Character Creation Rules
Character Progression: There will be 3 times during the RP where you can upgrade your character. During each 'level up' you can increase a single stat to the next rank (but not above S) and learn two new abilities (or upgrade existing ones). If a character does not have powers and is instead gear focused I will work with you to figure something out.
Character Creation Rules
- Generally speaking I’m pretty ok with most character and ability types. That said certain types of abilities I am more inclined to put restrictions on, such as time and fate based powers and nano-tech. Something minor, like a haste spell working off time magic instead of wind or some other type, is fine, but something stronger may not be allowed or have heavy restrictions. I will determine that on a case by case basis.
- No restrictions on what race/species/heritage your character is, but beings like a god would obviously need to have something going on with them to explain why they are not more powerful than the rest of the group.
- Characters can either have a more diverse range of abilities that allow them to be useful in many situations, or be more specialized and thus have more power within that specialization but with the risk of having a higher chance of coming across a situation they are not suited for.
- Original characters only! The character can have one or more ties to fandom(s), like equipment, abilities, or heritage, but the character itself must be your own creation. The character I will be posting below will be an example of this.

Combat statsStats are here simply to ensure that no one character is more powerful or capable than the rest. These stats represent your character at their strongest, with gear equipped and any self-buffs active. External buffs from other characters will raise the affected stat up 1 tier, but not above S and buffs do not stack.
pure offensive ability= no greater than destroying 3-4 room building
max strength= easily tossing a car
max speed= 100 mph (short term dash/spell), 60 mph (endurance run), any teleportation type ability requires at least an A in speed, quite possibly an S.

Dx1╔══ஓ๑♡๑ஓ══╗You can replace the notes inside the ( ) with any special comments about your character's stats! Be aware that having a high stat does not have to be because of a high power level, it can because of a character's level of skill! An example of this is a skilled martial artist using everything they have learned about fighting to land blows on critical spots on their foe's body instead of relying on sheer muscle power like some barbarian style characters would do. While a character can have some of both power and skill represented in a stat, it does mean that they wouldn't excel in either.

AbilitiesThis is where you put any special powers or combat moves your character is able to do. Please don't get carried away by adding too many abilities, characters should have gaps in their arsenals to encourage teamwork with each other.
Ability name:
It can be in either paragraph or bullet list form, but the following bits of information should be included with each ability.
- Description
- (eg. A magic burst of sparkling, harmless stars that is cast by waving a hand)
- Range/limitations
- (eg. The stars appear in the air up to 10ft from the caster and slowly fizzle out)
- Effectiveness/ineffectiveness
- (eg. A great distraction or source of light and entertainment. Could briefly blind people in the dark. Causes no harm.)
Skills/talents: (This section covers skills and knowledge that would be useful both in and out of combat. Like with stats, these should be ranked to indicate how skilled and/or knowledgeable your character is about something. It is perfectly fine to have less than the cap of skills. For example if you just want to have 3 skills, two of them ranked at A and one ranked at B, that's perfectly fine.
You can have:
1x S (excellent)
2x A (Above Average)
3x B (Average)
4x C (Passing familiarity))
- Description
InventoryEach character arrives with their preferred set of equipment and items. Like with abilities, gear and items shouldn't cover every and any situation and needs to have limitations to help keep characters on par with each other.
Weapons: (be sure to describe any magical/tech/etc abilities or enchantments it may have)
Armor: (same as above)
Items: (max of 4 notable items)
