Personality: Joseph is a man suffering with suffering from extreme paranoia. He is often looking over his shoulder and having to be calmed down by his associates. Yet he still manages to carry himself with a form of menace and dark elegance that give off a real Boogyman Vibe. His greatest strength often comes from his intellect, which is both calculating and adaptive making him a difficult opponent to deal with.​


Powers:
Super serum V/02- a serum that allows Joseph to operate at 500% capacity. This grants him super strength up to 975lbs, Super speed up to 50mph. Durability 5x an average human, making him nearly bulletproof on his own . Senses 5x a normal human. Allowing him to see in the dark, smell the difference in people, hear much further and more accurately, and even feel slight changes in pressure or temperature.
Lastly his reflexes have been boosted 5x a normal human making him able to react in .05 seconds. It also grants him minor regenerative capabilities.
Skills:
Hand to hand- Joseph has spent many years training to face his personal demons. Granting him an impressive range of close quarters styles including, krav maga, judo, Brazilian ju-juitsu, and akido. He is also well trained in the usage of knives and similar close quarters weapons.

Marksman- Joseph wasn't always a very good shot but with age comes experience. He has become a very accurate, versitile, and ambidextrous marksman.

Improvised weapon- Guns and knives aren't the only thing Joseph is skilled in fighting with. He can utilize nearly anything from an ashtray, to a concoction of chemicals.

Tactical warfare- before he had the serum Joseph was skilled in fighting battles that he did not have the upper hand in. As such he has learned to use various tools such as the environment, civilians, sentiment, and even psychological warfare to overcome more powerful foes.

D/hud helmet- the helmet of his armor is reinforced, to resist impacts, temperature change, and excessive energy. It also comes with a scanner and a HUD visor which allows his to scan enemies and detect them via radar for 300meters around him.
Vs-12 armor- the body armor is Reinforced to be bulletproof with extra lightweight padding to keep him from taking to much damage from bullets and small scale explosions.
X2 Ex .45- two experimental .45 caliber pistols designed to work with the ex-shredder. These pistols can fire any kind of .45 call ammunition, adjusting it's internal working rapidly to accommodate the bullet.
Ex-shredder- a back mounted compartment designed to use lasers shred materials and 3-D print new Magazines, bullets and all, and load load them onto his auto loading clip.
V.a.l.blade- Standing for Vibrational Alloy Lazer the Val blade is a long chunk of alloyed metal roughly 3x as hard as steel, it vibrates at a high frequency as lasers dance around the edge of the blade making is capable of cutting through nearly anything.
Weaknesses:
Addicted-Joseph has a fierce addiction to his super serum. Without having an injection once every eight hours he falls into withdraw where he suffers from convulsions, extreme pain, loss of abilities, and temporary psychosis.

Bad reputation- due to some problems in the past, Joseph is kept under a close watch. Much of his paranoia comes from this fact, but his addiction keeps him coming back every time. Many of his teammates and superiors distrust him and his decision making.


Backstory:
Joseph Vecna was born to a wealthy family with strong political ties. Unfortunately for him his parents were targeted for assassination when he was only four years old, the Assassin ony saying "I'll be watching you." He spent several years in the foster system after that, few parents wanting to adopt him due to severe psychological trauma he suffered from the experience. However when he turned eighteen and inherited his families vast fortune he decided he wasn't going to be afraid anymore. He poured billions of dollars into a military R&d program in an attempt to manufacture weapons to confront the assassin who haunted his nightmares. The suit, helmet, guns, shredder, swords, and super serum came from this business venture though it took 20 years to complete. Once it was done he was quick to don the title of phantom and seek to find this man. He searched the criminal underbelly for his assassin, killing many along the way. Yet it was the assassin who found him. He and his own past collided finally, and with his gear, serum, and stubborn drive he was able to easily overcome the Assassin. Only to find that it was his own Mother who had slain his father and fled faking her death with the use of her own twin. Finding out that she was ordered to do so by the assassin guild she was a part of infuriated Joseph and so he hunted down and finished the group. Many of whome were metahumans, powerful political figures, and seemingly innocent people.
He had nearly finished his list when he was captured. Facing 116 confirmed accounts of murder, even with all his wealth, Joseph was given the death penalty. Yet recent investigation proved his claims of them being assassin's responsible for his parents death, combined with the need for capable soldiers for SQUAD, have allowed Joseph the opportunity to work for his freedom. Upon his return Joseph created the Super serum V/02 which doubled his capabilities while giving him his greatest weakness.

    Vivienne Mortimer is a girl only known as an uncontrollable flash fire waiting to happen. Her full power is unknown even to her, yet she is already a force to be reckoned with. Despite this, her only goal, if you can consider it a goal when she's insane, is to make a friend. Despite her insanity she manages to function due to being an actress in her past. Although her intentions are never clear, one thing is obvious, she's a ticking time bomb waiting to go off.

Fears/Phobias: Adrian has a fear of loosing himself to his power stemming from a time when he lost control while using the DNA of a tiger, luckily he was able to cancel to abilities in time.
Personality: Adrian is an impulsive and brash man by nature, he listens to his instincts more than anything else. That said he is very confident and comforting, more often than not he will attempt to stop his foes non lethally but this isn't always possible and while taking a life does bother him, he is not opposed to doing so if needed.

Powers:
Animalistic embodiment- Adrian is capable of manifesting various abilities found in the animal kingdom and utilize them so long as they don't change his physical form. For example he could give himself the power of a African bull elephant allowing him to lift and withstand up to 10 tons. Or he could imbue himself with the powers of a cheetah and be able to run up to 85mph in short bursts and have greatly enhanced agility. He must have at some point made physical contact with the animal at some point to initiate his afterwards it's DNA is saved within his own DNA for later use.

Skills:
Boxing/wrestling- in high school and college Adrian was on both the wrestling and the football teams. He has also trained in boxing with his father since he was 6 years old.

Athletic- despite his large build Adrian is quite fast, able to run, jump, and climb at alarming speeds. In fact he actually rarely uses his powers choosing to rely on his own physical capabilities.

Equipment:
Utility belt- this contains his other four gadgets.
Smoke pellets- in the back left pocket of his belt are several smoke pellets each roughly the size of a marble and each able to fill a room with thick white smoke. Carries 14 pellets

Grapple hook/launcher- in the front left pocket is the grapple hook gun. This toy looking gun fires an anchor which locks in spikes when it sinks into a target. Then at the press of a button it reels in with enough strength to pull 500lbs. The cable attached has a tensile strength of 10 tons.
Carries 12 reusable lines & anchors.

Handcuffs- in the Back right pocket of his utility belt are six pairs of collapsible handcuffs. These cuffs are made of a titanium tungsten carbide alloy making them able to withstand up to 100tons of force. extreme Temperature change can damage them enough to break, as well as plasma.

Bolo- in the front right pocket sits a bolo made from the same wire as the grapple gun, these bolos are weighted to be thrown far. They normally take the shape of a triangle until thrown, at which point they split into three arrow heads with cables interconnecting them. The grapple gun can fire these for long range targeting. Holds 20 bolos.

Weaknesses:
Contact-Adrian must make physical contact with a animal to store their power in his dna. The city zoo provided him with most of his powers but the selection is not infinite.

Side effects- Adrian tries to keep from using too many predatory animal abilities, because while powerful and useful in combat, they cause him to gain their aggressive tendencies. Meanwhile if he uses too many naturally docile animals he himself will become naturally docile. The personality change is most powerful while the power is active, but it lingers on for a few minutes even after he has turned it off.

Exhaustion- while Adrian does have a lot of stamina the use of his power drains it quite quickly. As such he tends to try and conserve the uses for emergency situations. He currently is capable of 6 seperate 5 minute power bursts. Changing powers counts as another usage of a power burst. Each power burst recovers at a rate of 1 per every hour.

One at a time- Adrian is incapable of mixing two different animal powers.

Backstory: Adrian was born as the son of a police officer father and a forensic archeologist mother. Both of whom always encouraged him to put his all into everything he did, and to stand up for what he knew was right. Adrian based his entire life on this belief, a belief further reinforced after his father was killed in the line of duty when he was 12. He and his mother each cooped with this in their own way. She turned to alcohol, he turned to focusing himself with a goal in mind. He was gonna be a hero...
When his powers awakened shortly afterwards he knew it was destiny. It took him a few years to actually figure his power out, and when he did his first real boost was found in the city zoo, which he snuck into at night to gain access to a wide variety of abilities. After taking a few more months to master his newfound abilites, and create his many gadgets, he made his debut as Primal.

Quirks/Habits: Abagail chews on the ends of pens and pencils, taps her foot or her fingers when she's sitting down, and can't let her food touch. Unless it's Chinese food.
Fears/Phobias: Deep water and drowning are up there with two of her biggest fears. She can't deal with being stick in small spaces, and clowns. She can't deal with clowns, they haunt her dreams.
Personality: Abagail is a woman who is not afraid to mess you up. She may seem like an intelligent, reserved flirt, and she is no doubt about it, but there's more to her than that. While she's also kind, rather open-minded, and very outgoing, she can be rather cold hearted. Her empathy is very rarely in play, and she's rather indifferent about what's going on. She'd much rather live her quiet life like it is now. Though a better job would be nice.

Powers: Telekinesis: The ability to move objects with the mind. The biggest object Abagail can move is a bus, but she cannot lift it more than a few feet off the ground. Anything lighter than that is pretty easily moved, but Abagail really doesn't have a reason to move big things that that often.
Telepathy: The ability to non-verbaly communicate with one or more people by establishing a mental connection with them. They have to be within half a mile of her though in order for it to work. The link can also be cancelled if Abagail is subdued, knocked out, or by other mental interference.
Pisonic Sheild: An ability that protects you from mental attacks, making you highly resistant.
Skills: MMA Hand to Hand Combat (She took classes for a while), Mixology, Running in Heels,(Fire arms) Ranged Combat, high pain tolerance
Equipment: Collapsible Baton, 9mm Pistol, Tazer
Weaknesses: Other people with strong mental powers can bypass her Pisonic Sheild if they know what they're doing, and head aches affect her like the worse migranes. And migraines are probably just as a painful as a gunshot wound.

Backstory: Abagail McCartney is the daughter of a druggie mom and a deadbeat dad not even worth mentioning. They lived in a small, very crap apparent for the majority of her young life, until her mother was sent to rehab when she was about six. She came from a very small family, so she didn't have any aunt's or uncles to take her in, her father couldn't be found, and her grandparents were too old to take care of her. So she was sent to live in am orphanage. It was a pretty bad one too. They staff sucked, the older kids were allowed to do whatever they wanted to, and the younger kids were neglected. Abagail hated it, and unfortunately she was never adopted. Her powers manifested twos years after she was put into the orphanage, so she would practice late at night when everyone was asleep and after the many years of being trapped there, she was pretty good with them. When she was 18, she had to leave for the obvious reason of being to old. Now, She struggled for a little bit because she was fresh out of highschool, but she found a nice job at a local coffee shop that actually paid pretty well. And then she got a nice apartment, and now life is nice. She also decided to help people with her powers every once in a while.

Quirks/Habits: As a dedicated worker, it is often that Otto steps out of work and right to the local pub for a beer or two before returning home to continue relaxing after a day's work. There is much of the city Otto has yet to see which he goes to explore on his weekends if he is not working with his abilities or racing down at the tracks. Enjoys going to the theater to watch action and science fiction movies. Otto always has breakfast at the 56th Avenue Diner across the street from him, as a big fan of pancakes and biscuits with gravy they are second to none and their coffee is fantastic. Otto can also be stubborn as fuck, only the right persuasion will make him compliant when he is in a uncompromising state. Typically Otto doesn't do this unless there is a reason to do so.

Fears/Phobias: Knowing his mental state is getting worse

Probably his greatest fear is actually having to see a doctor about his mental problems and finding out he is a Forsaken.

Personality: Otto is very different (At least he thinks so) from other Forsaken as he lives his life more like a human. But those thoughts could be from his internal confliction. Even if Otto is a well tempered young man, slow to anger and easy to get along with he struggles with anxiety and derealization which makes him irritated and often angry with an outburst in rare occurance. Mathias hides his darkness deep within him and focuses on anything else that he can so if he as an episode he can function without falter. He enjoys his personal time alone and appreciates the company of others as well as daydreaming in the large park a couple miles away from his home.

Another note with his personality is that he has another side to him, almost like another person resides in him, a second concious, one of incredible hate. Like it was stated before, Otto burries his darkness deep within him, but it builds up to where he must release this tension and the only way to do so is using his abilities.

Powers:

Advanced Geokinesis: Otto has the ability to bend the element of earth to his will. However he cannot create large features for instance, turning a plain into a mountain or vice versa. What Otto can do is attack and defend with the element, lifting boulders and launching them, creating pillars that blast out of the ground at his foe and so on. There is another power that had surfaced with his Geokinesis and that is Steel Manipulation.

Steel Manipulation: This power allows him to create, shape and control steel. From scaffolding to bike racks, Otto can make anything. What he can't do is make complex items such as guns and bombs as they require the knowledge to make them. There is potential to make a firearm but Otto needs to know the dimensions of the more intricate parts. Swords, knives and beautiful cutlery on the other hand is his speciality. This has become his strongest ability as he works with it almost constantly due to his work...

Skills: Ables to attack and defend with his powers at close to medium ranges (between 0- 300 meter targets) hand to hand combat, skilled driving

Equipment: Otto currently rides a motorcycle but is also constantly working on his care which he race every now and again.

Weaknesses: Otto doesn't sleep a lot as he doesn't tire easily. So he works a modified second shift of around twelve hours as he finds himself energetic until midnight or later where his body starts to wind down.

It's hard to find a good place to practice his Geokinesis, though Otto used to practice for weeks or months at a time, his inability to find an appropriate area to train constantly has weakened him a bit. Until he can use this ability more he won't last much longer than hour in a heavy fight depending on his attacks and what he needs to defend from.


Backstory:
Otto was fourteen when he left his family who long ago put the city of Friction behind them. They always told him why the lived amongst those who had abilities and powers, other Forsaken. "We are safer here, amongst our own kind, Otto" is what they told him "This way we don't have any conflict with humans, everyone can live in peace." was their reason. Otto scoffed at anyone who believed that segregation was the only way to coexist with humans. Eventually he had enough of it seeing how it was bullshit that many thought the same, one reason or another is why they left but Otto had made up his mind. It was his mission in life to go to Friction and make his own path and fate...

His journey was rough at first as he had to find work. After a year or so a foundry worker took him in off the street, a Samuel Briggs who was an older man of few words and a taker of action. "Mister Briggs, I appreciate your help... but I need you to know something about me..." Otto now fifteen nearing sixteen began "I already know, live long enough and you can see who people really are." Briggs's statement threw Otto completely off guard. The man would show Otto his quarters and told him that he would work under Briggs's to pay him for his generosity...

Outside of work, Matthias wears a dark brown leather bomber jacket during colder seasons, in warmer temperatures he normally wears a T-shirt and shorts that are long enough to pass below his knees. When racing he wears jeans and a black long sleeve button up with a green undershirt. Otto prefers boots, but wears skate shoes with shorts.

Matthias could shift either toward good or evil depending on many different situations. His own mentality could cause him to take either side on top of a buried past which only lighter parts are told to others. Good thing the pub is open every day all day!

Edward is not so normal, he's rather fine with how things are, he isn't one for change. He's the average genius, and he wants to know more. He really isn't something, some could say his only interesting trait is his thirst for knowledge. Edward doesn't walk around with a wrestling mask over his face and doing life's work, he isn't lazy but he just stays content with how he is, more of a flaw than anything.

However, due to his power, overtime he's grown too content, his thirst for knowledge is in it's final stages and he desperately needs to learn more. So much so, he's willing to kill for it. Edward has began trying to understand other people's powers, willing to dissect a dead mutant for answers, he's so far down the rabbit hole, he's almost compelled to murder a mutant and get a good look at a fresh mutant corpse. He's an inventor, he makes things and tests them out, his inventions being both helpful and useful. Plus, working on things sort of delays his inevitable killing.

Edward isn't one for cooperation, he doesn't like working with people or things with autonomous thinking or a higher intelligence. He enjoys being the leader or commander of a team or group. Though if he's forced to, he'll try his best to do some type of teamwork. Edward carries no sympathy for others, he's the everyday emotional psychopath.

Powers:
Intuitive Aptitude - is the ability to understand the structure and operation of complex systems without special education or training. However, it also compels the holder to understand as much as they can, resulting in a "hunger" which can manifest a need to understand, and to learn.
Edward himself describes intuitive aptitude as the ability to understand how things work, and how to fix them if they are broken. However, the latter aspect of the ability has almost never been utilized by Edward.

Edward's ability seems to be constantly active, unconsciously helping him to analyze any system that he encounters. For systems that he already understands, he can detect and identify flaws in the mechanism with only a cursory inspection. Systems that he has never seen before may require more extensive study, but he seems to be able to comprehend them far more quickly than any ordinary person could, and he requires far less technological equipment.

Edward's ability seems to work for analyzing mechanical and biological systems. Whether it would work on other types of systems, such as electronic hardware or computer software is not yet known, although he has claimed that it allows him to rapidly analyze human behavior. Edward is also able to use his ability to understand the abilities of other mutants, being able to deduce certain effects and explain them.

Although it may seem is power is used by sight, it requires all of his 5 senses. Though taste isn't that helpful. To for say, fix a watch, he can listen to the watch ticking, and find out the problem. Sometimes he has to make contact with the object or person he is studying to understand their behavior and such.

When examining someone or an object, Edward tries to connect it up with other things he's analyzed before, putting something together if it doesn't make that much sense. Even then, Edward is not entirely sure what he may be looking at or feeling, he can never assume an answer is correct due to it being more like a gut feeling.

Enhanced Intelligence - is the ability to quickly absorb, perfectly retain, and immediately utilize immense amounts of information. Users can remember and recall everything that they have ever experienced, encountered, or learned, even things they learned before their ability has activated. User can process unlimited amounts of information, and can process a large amount of simultaneous calculations.
Skills:
-Edward is a good cook, and makes wonderful lavish meals. He has yet to understand if this is a result of his powers or it being hereditary from his parents.
-He plays the piano rather well.
Equipment:
-Goggles, these hold no scientific properties, just normal goggles.
-AMC Pacer, painted Toreno Red, with a cowl induction hood. He takes pride in his cars.
Weaknesses:
Power based weaknesses: Edward while being able to understand objects and complex systems in a short amount of time, his constant use of it causes him to have a hunger for knowledge and a thirst to understanding everything. Due to his power in constant use, he wears goggles to somewhat try and look normal.

His infinite storage and vast space of knowledge doesn't have really any drawbacks, although, he may receive some sort of condition later down the line.

Human based weaknesses: Edward is not exactly able to drive cars, being that he's legally blind and can't operate machinery without his glasses. Because of this, he wears contact lenses. Edward is literally nothing without his powers.

Fairly rare bloodtype, making it harder to give blood to him. Only 9%.
Backstory:
Edward was born and raised in the city, more in the residential zoning areas, with just houses and not apartments. His family was content with staying there, and they did, their house still holds to today, just under different residence. Around the age of 13, during his puberty days, his higher intelligence grew and he only then realized he had the ability to remember... everything. He wasn't freaked out by it but rather used it for ill, by cheating (if that's what you call cheating) and remembering people's vulnerable spots.

After those years of Puberty, he manifested his second power, to understand. This was around 16 years of age and he had a pretty normal job. Edward started saving money for a warehouse and office space, he figured, "If he could know everything, what else is there to learn" So after highschool, he didn't go to college, instead, he moved out of his house and bought the warehouse and office space. After furnishing his warehouse and office space, he ventured out to the library to learn. This went on for a year, then he got tired of it and wanted to learn more about his powers and other people's powers. He actually broke into a coroners building to grave rob some corpses to analyze and dissect them.

And until he gets answers, he gonna keep grave robbing and keep trying to learn everything he can.

Allowing him to see in the dark, smell the difference in people, hear much further and more accurately, and even feel slight changes in pressure or temperature.
Lastly his reflexes have been boosted 8x a normal human making him able to see and acknowledge most sub-sonic velocities. It also grants him minor regenerative capabilities.
Skills:
Hand to hand- Joseph has spent many years training to face his personal demons. Granting him an impressive range of close quarters styles including, krav maga, judo, Brazilian ju-juitsu, and akido. He is also well trained in the usage of knives and similar close quarters weapons.

Marksman- Joseph wasn't always a very good shot but with age comes experience. He has become a very accurate, versitile, and ambidextrous marksman.

Improvised weapon- Guns and knives aren't the only thing Joseph is skilled in fighting with. He can utilize nearly anything from an ashtray, to a concoction of chemicals.

Tactical warfare- before he had the serum Joseph was skilled in fighting battles that he did not have the upper hand in. As such he has learned to use various tools such as the environment, civilians, sentiment, and even psychological warfare to overcome more powerful foes.

D/hud helmet- the helmet of his armor is reinforced, to resist impacts, temperature change, and excessive energy. It also comes with a scanner and a HUD visor which allows his to scan enemies and detect them via radar for 300meters around him.
Vs-12 armor- the body armor is Reinforced to be bulletproof with extra lightweight padding to keep him from taking to much damage from bullets and small scale explosions.
X2 Ex .45- two experimental .45 caliber pistols designed to work with the ex-shredder. These pistols can fire any kind of .45 call ammunition, adjusting it's internal working rapidly to accommodate the bullet.
Ex-shredder- a back mounted compartment designed to use lasers shred materials and 3-D print new Magazines, bullets and all, and load load them onto his auto loading clip.
V.a.l.blade- Standing for Vibrational Alloy Lazer the Val blade is a long chunk of alloyed metal roughly 3x as hard as steel, it vibrates at a high frequency as lasers dance around the edge of the blade making is capable of cutting through nearly anything.
Weaknesses:
Addicted-Joseph has a fierce addiction to his super serum. Without having an injection once every eight hours he falls into withdraw where he suffers from convulsions, extreme pain, loss of abilities, and temporary psychosis.

Bad reputation- due to some problems in the past, Joseph is kept under a close watch. Much of his paranoia comes from this fact, but his addiction keeps him coming back every time. Many of his teammates and superiors distrust him and his decision making.


Backstory:
Joseph Vecna was born to a wealthy family with strong political ties. Unfortunately for him his parents were targeted for assassination when he was only four years old, the Assassin ony saying "I'll be watching you." He spent several years in the foster system after that, few parents wanting to adopt him due to severe psychological trauma he suffered from the experience. However when he turned eighteen and inherited his families vast fortune he decided he wasn't going to be afraid anymore. He poured billions of dollars into a military R&d program in an attempt to manufacture weapons to confront the assassin who haunted his nightmares. The suit, helmet, guns, shredder, swords, and super serum came from this business venture though it took 20 years to complete. Once it was done he was quick to don the title of phantom and seek to find this man. He searched the criminal underbelly for his assassin, killing many along the way. Yet it was the assassin who found him. He and his own past collided finally, and with his gear, serum, and stubborn drive he was able to easily overcome the Assassin. Only to find that it was his own Mother who had slain his father and fled faking her death with the use of her own twin. Finding out that she was ordered to do so by the assassin guild she was a part of infuriated Joseph and so he hunted down and finished the group. Many of whome were metahumans, powerful political figures, and seemingly innocent people.
He had nearly finished his list when he was captured. Facing 116 confirmed accounts of murder, even with all his wealth, Joseph was given the death penalty. Yet recent investigation proved his claims of them being assassin's responsible for his parents death, combined with the need for capable soldiers for SQUAD, have allowed Joseph the opportunity to work for his freedom. Upon his return Joseph created the Super serum V/02 which doubled his capabilities while giving him his greatest weakness.

The CS is overall good enough for me to not have to leave any notes within, however I have one MAJOR concern. Mathematics.

A normal human being is capable of lifting their body weight (or less), reaction to situations within 0.25 seconds, running at at least 10 miles an hour, and being able to withstand 520 lbs of force at the thickest part of the skull. Judging by these capabilities, your character should be able to
-Lift 8 times their body weight (~1560 lbs)
-React to situations within 0.03125s (~31 milliseconds)
-Withstand a WHOPPING 4160 lbs of force on the skull (I'd assume it's in pounds/sq inch) A bullet, in comparison, delivers about 850 lbs of force, possibly also in psi.

The senses are another level of calculations that I don't want to do (whoopsies stupid and lazy girl here lol) but what I'm trying to get at here is that this character is actually quite overpowered if everything humanly possible is functioning at 800% capacity. Even a 400% boost would be impressive if it was as well rounded, but if everything is enhanced to 800% that's a bit much in my opinion. This, combined with the fact that he has an incredible suit that already is supernatural on its own, makes him quite a terrifying sight to behold. If you want to keep the boost I suggest nerfing it down to about 400% or 500% so specialized supers such as those with only enhanced strength or speed aren't dwarfed in comparison to this guy.

  • Vivienne Mortimer is a girl only known as an uncontrollable flash fire waiting to happen. Her full power is unknown even to her, yet she is already a force to be reckoned with. Despite this, her only goal, if you can consider it a goal when she's insane, is to make a friend. Despite her insanity she manages to function due to being an actress in her past. Although her intentions are never clear, one thing is obvious, she's a ticking time bomb waiting to go off.

The format is actually not conforming to the CS format I have displayed above. There are a few categories missing such as quirks/habits and fears/phobias. But I reviewed the CS regardless.

However, I do have a few concerns with blocking bullets with claws. They can be strong enough to block bullets, but remember that this character might not be FAST enough to block bullets. Blocking bullets requires really, REALLY fast reflexes (which is not compatible with someone who has pyrokinesis as their main power) so just keep this in mind when RPing. I'm not saying every bullet will hit however. Guns are tools that require high precision to use, it's just that there is a chance factor in there.

Edward is not so normal, he's rather fine with how things are, he isn't one for change. He's the average genius, and he wants to know more. He really isn't something, some could say his only interesting trait is his thirst for knowledge. Edward doesn't walk around with a wrestling mask over his face and doing life's work, he isn't lazy but he just stays content with how he is, more of a flaw than anything.

However, due to his power, overtime he's grown too content, his thirst for knowledge is in it's final stages and he desperately needs to learn more. So much so, he's willing to kill for it. Edward has began trying to understand other people's powers, willing to dissect a dead mutant for answers, he's so far down the rabbit hole, he's almost compelled to murder a mutant and get a good look at a fresh mutant corpse. He's an inventor, he makes things and tests them out, his inventions being both helpful and useful. Plus, working on things sort of delays his inevitable killing.

Edward isn't one for cooperation, he doesn't like working with people or things with autonomous thinking or a higher intelligence. He enjoys being the leader or commander of a team or group. Though if he's forced to, he'll try his best to do some type of teamwork.

Powers:
Intuitive Aptitude - is the ability to understand the structure and operation of complex systems without special education or training. However, it also compels the holder to understand as much as they can, resulting in a "hunger" which can manifest a need to understand, and to learn. (Intuitive aptitude is a tactile ability (according to the wiki) He has to touch it to understand it? He can't just stare at something and say "oh, I know how it works." Because that can be exploited in many ways.)
Edward himself describes intuitive aptitude as the ability to understand how things work, and how to fix them if they are broken. However, the latter aspect of the ability has almost never been utilized by Edward.

Edward's ability seems to be constantly active, unconsciously helping him to analyze any system that he encounters. For systems that he already understands, he can detect and identify flaws in the mechanism with only a cursory inspection. Systems that he has never seen before may require more extensive study, but he seems to be able to comprehend them far more quickly than any ordinary person could, and he requires far less technological equipment.

Edward's ability seems to work for analyzing mechanical and biological systems. Whether it would work on other types of systems, such as electronic hardware or computer software is not yet known, although he has claimed that it allows him to rapidly analyze human behavior. Edward is also able to use his ability to understand the abilities of other mutants, being able to deduce certain effects and explain them.

Eidetic Memory - is the ability to quickly absorb, perfectly retain, and immediately utilize immense amounts of information. Users can remember and recall everything that they have ever experienced, encountered, or learned, even things they learned before their ability has activated. User can process unlimited amounts of information, and can process a large amount of simultaneous calculations. (I would classify this as "enhanced intelligence." Eidetic memory is something that regular humans have and cannot do all that you've described. Intuitive Aptitude and Enhanced Intelligence go hand in hand. So this was a terminology error of some sorts.)

-Edward is a good cook, and makes wonderful lavish meals. He has yet to understand if this is a result of his powers or it being hereditary from his parents.

Power based weaknesses: Edward while being able to understand objects and complex systems in a short amount of time, his constant use of it causes him to have a hunger for knowledge and a thirst to understanding everything. Due to his power in constant use, he wears goggles to somewhat try and look normal.

His infinite storage and vast space of knowledge doesn't have really any drawbacks, although, he may receive some sort of condition later down the line.

Human based weaknesses: Edward is not exactly able to drive cars, being that he's legally blind and can't operate machinery without his glasses. Because of this, he wears contact lenses. Edward is literally nothing without his powers.

Edward was born and raised in the city, more in the residential zoning areas, with just houses and not apartments. His family was content with staying there, and they did, their house still holds to today, just under different residence. Around the age of 13, during his puberty days, his higher intelligence grew and he only then realized he had the ability to remember... everything. He wasn't freaked out by it but rather used it for ill, by cheating (if that's what you call cheating) and remembering people's vulnerable spots.

After those years of Puberty, he manifested his second power, to understand. This was around 16 years of age and he had a pretty normal job. Edward started saving money for a warehouse and office space, he figured, "If he could know everything, what else is there to learn" So after highschool, he didn't go to college, instead, he moved out of his house and bought the warehouse and office space. After furnishing his warehouse and office space, he ventured out to the library to learn. This went on for a year, then he got tired of it and wanted to learn more about his powers and other people's powers. He actually broke into a coroners building to grave rob some corpses to analyze and dissect them.

And until he gets answers, he gonna keep grave robbing and keep trying to learn everything he can.

Quirks/Habits: Adrian always seems to look angry, even when he is not.
Fears/Phobias: Adrian has a fear of loosing himself to his power stemming from a time when he lost control while using the DNA of a tiger, luckily he was able to cancel to abilities in time.
Personality: Adrian is an impulsive and brash man by nature, he listens to his instincts more than anything else. That said he is very confident and comforting, more often than not he will attempt to stop his foes non lethally but this isn't always possible and while taking a life does bother him, he is not opposed to doing so if needed.

Powers:
Animalistic embodiment- Adrian is capable of manifesting various abilities found in the animal kingdom and utilize them so long as they don't change his physical form. For example he could give himself the power of a African bull elephant allowing him to lift and withstand up to 10 tons. Or he could imbue himself with the powers of a cheetah and be able to run up to 85mph in short bursts and have greatly enhanced agility. He must have at some point made physical contact with the animal at some point to initiate his afterwards it's DNA is saved within his own DNA for later use.

Skills:
Boxing/wrestling- in high school and college Adrian was on both the wrestling and the football teams. He has also trained in boxing with his father since he was 6 years old.

Athletic- despite his large build Adrian is quite fast, able to run, jump, and climb at alarming speeds. In fact he actually rarely uses his powers choosing to rely on his own physical capabilities.

Equipment:
Utility belt- this contains his other four gadgets.
Smoke pellets- in the back left pocket of his belt are several smoke pellets each roughly the size of a marble and each able to fill a room with thick white smoke. Carries 14 pellets

Grapple hook/launcher- in the front left pocket is the grapple hook gun. This toy looking gun fires an anchor which locks in spikes when it sinks into a target. Then at the press of a button it reels in with enough strength to pull 500lbs. The cable attached has a tensile strength of 10 tons.
Carries 12 reusable lines & anchors.

Handcuffs- in the Back right pocket of his utility belt are six pairs of collapsible handcuffs. These cuffs are made of a titanium tungsten carbide alloy making them able to withstand up to 100tons of force. extreme Temperature change can damage them enough to break, as well as plasma.

Bolo- in the front right pocket sits a bolo made from the same wire as the grapple gun, these bolos are weighted to be thrown far. They normally take the shape of a triangle until thrown, at which point they split into three arrow heads with cables interconnecting them. The grapple gun can fire these for long range targeting. Holds 20 bolos.

Weaknesses:
Contact-Adrian must make physical contact with a animal to store their power in his dna. The city zoo provided him with most of his powers but the selection is not infinite.

Side effects- Adrian tries to keep from using too many predatory animal abilities, because while powerful and useful in combat, they cause him to gain their aggressive tendencies. Meanwhile if he uses too many naturally docile animals he himself will become naturally docile. The personality change is most powerful while the power is active, but it lingers on for a few minutes even after he has turned it off.

Exhaustion- while Adrian does have a lot of stamina the use of his power drains it quite quickly. As such he tends to try and conserve the uses for emergency situations. He currently is capable of 6 seperate 5 minute power bursts. Changing powers counts as another usage of a power burst. Each power burst recovers at a rate of 1 per every hour.

One at a time- Adrian is incapable of mixing two different animal powers.

Backstory: Adrian was born as the son of a police officer father and a forensic archeologist mother. Both of whom always encouraged him to put his all into everything he did, and to stand up for what he knew was right. Adrian based his entire life on this belief, a belief further reinforced after his father was killed in the line of duty when he was 12. He and his mother each cooped with this in their own way. She turned to alcohol, he turned to focusing himself with a goal in mind. He was gonna be a hero...
When his powers awakened shortly afterwards he knew it was destiny. It took him a few years to actually figure his power out, and when he did his first real boost was found in the city zoo, which he snuck into at night to gain access to a wide variety of abilities. After taking a few more months to master his newfound abilites, and create his many gadgets, he made his debut as Primal.
Extra: The white markings on primal skin are only visible when he is using his powers.

He wants to stay out of as much trouble as he can, but in desperate times he is known to be quite 'Electric'.


Powers: Electricity manipulation - able to use/manipulate electricity, being able to Electrify his fists, and shoot electricity from his hands, he can also short circuit electronics nearby. Mainly where his nickname comes from.

Plasma Manipulation - Plasma is just incredably heated gas, and it is in our blood. so its pretty common. But he can use as a weapon, being about to shoot beams of it, or make shields from it.

Backstory: Born in the city, he was like any other child, normal. That was until the powers showed up. He seemed to have an innate ability with electronics, but when he was angry or sad, the lights tended to flicker. He was bullied at school until he snapped, causing there to be no power in the school, for about a week, and everyone started to treat him differently, he became the center of attention, but he quickly grew to dislike it. He dropped out of school and was homeschooled. He later became great at hiding in plain sight.(kinda suck at backgrounds sorry)

This ability is mentally straining on Jonathan and can not be used indefinitely.

-This power is only active when Jonathan is focusing on it, meaning in order to use it Jonathan must be very concentrated.
-These "Puppets" are limited, they can be stopped if the brain is destroyed. If a corpse has no brain, then Jonathan may not use his ability upon it. Jonathan may take control of a corpse whose brain is slightly damaged, but in doing so the "Puppet" will operate with less efficiency.

-This ability, while abnormal in its own right, it is very limited. This ability occurs at random, and can only occur when Jonathan has physical contact with an individual. In other words, Jonathan has no control over this ability, nor does he fully understand it.

Backstory:
Jonathan was born in 1950, in Roanoke, Virginia. He was born to a military family, with his father being a retired Naval Officer, and mother had enlisted into the Army Nurses Corps. Jonathan's military heritage goes back as far as the First World War. He spent his early childhood in his home town up until he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps when he was 18 years old. From there he received his training in Virginia before deploying to Vietnam in 1967. There, Jonathan took part in the defensive measures made by the US and South Vietnamese forces during the Tet offensive. At the Battle of Hue, Jonathan and his fellow marines were engaged in several firefights with the NVA forces. It was there when Jonathan almost lost his life to a hand-grenade that was thrown into his emplacement. Jonathan managed to hold on by a thread and was quickly evacuated. His best friend; Donovan Carter was with him during the event and was killed in action. Jonathan awoke in a military hospital a few days later. As he glanced around, momentarily believing this to be a dream, Jonathan noticed a soldier sitting at his bedside. He came to realize that he recognized his face. Jonathan was relieved to see Donovan and grateful that his friend was alive and well. As Jonathan spoke to him, Donovan began to explain how he saw a bright light, and began to walk towards it. As Jonathan questioned his friend's departure, a nurse walked, puzzled. She then promptly asked; "Who are you talking to?". Jonathan didn't realize his gift, or curse, until much later. Jonathan was initially horrified by the truth and kept it secret. As time went on he discovered new abilities that went along with his gift. Now years later, Jonathan is a wanderer, bouncing about from city to city, until he found himself in the peculiar city of Friction.

She also deals with anger with sarcasm, mocking others when she gets the chance.

Though, Olivia isn't heartless even if her normal mood can be seen as that. She can actually show kindness though will usually hide it over a monotone and dull expression. Olivia is one to help though it's usually because of her own attitude and from guilt of it coming off as frustration. She enjoys a dark sense of humor and does find enjoyment in those kind of things as to her, life is one big sad joke.

Olivia has the ability to manipulate many different types of insects to her whim. They will do anything she says and will follow her to the ends of the earth, almost like a queen bee. That isn't all as she can tap into the mind of an insect and use them almost like a drone to see what she can't from her own vision.
-Insect Mimicry: Olivia has the ability to mimic some basic insect traits, some more disturbing then others.
  • Wall Crawling: This allows her the ability to climb flat surfaces, simple as that.
  • Paralyzing Bite: Like it says, Olivia's canines are hollow and can secrete a substance that paralyzes the victim for 3 minutes.
  • Blood Sucking: This ability is on the weirder side of the spectrum as Olivia...can suck peoples blood. This doesn't seem to have any use besides in healing scrapes and bruises, anything larger needing proper medical help.
  • Wing Generation: Olivia can make insect wings protrude from her back, though this does take a lot of energy to do.
Skills: Olivia is good with melee weapons such as a simple bat along with being book smart though never really one to show it out in public. She knows basic cooking, coffee making, and gardening.

  1. Insectoid Gas Mask: This is literally just a gas mask Olivia panted yellow with red spray painted eyes to replicate that of a bee.
  2. Black and Yellow Jacket: This is also part of her costume in order to conceal her identity and to make her look more like a bee.
  3. Bee Bat: A stripped aluminum bat working as one of Olivia's only form of combat weapon in close combat.
  4. Stringer: This is usually used in her other hand or on her waist when not in use, these are made to kill. They're brass knuckles with dagger like pieces attached to the front.
  5. Bullet Proof Vest: Olivia did think beforehand and bought a vest in order to make sure if she get shot, there will be a chance she can get back up.

Olivia is very easy to get aggressive and will respond with sarcasm, leading her to hurt people in the heat of the moment. She lacks much on cooperation and will usually go to handle situations by herself if she believes she can.   1. Wall Crawling: Must be on a flat surface and must have either open feet or free hands in order for her to stick to the wall in the first place.

As a child, she was most comfortable with the bugs outside, using having full discussions, asking questions that they would never answer, and helping them build their colonies.

At age 7, her first power manifested when a hornets nest had found residence in her families basement. She had accidentally went up there but instead of hurting her, the hornets just hovered in the air staring at her. Whatever command was said would be followed so she used this ability to send the hornets away. She was very proud of herself and used this ability as much as she could though to the dismay of her parents. She was forced to hide her powers but that didn't stop her from gaining more. By age 11 she learned of wall crawling while trying to clean the wall, she learned her paralyzing bite when she realized her canines were a lot sharper and she accidentally bit a bully. Blood sucking was the same day as it drew blood and the scratches the girl gave seemed to melt away. Wing generation came on her 16th birthday as she was messing on the roof to almost fall, only to be saved by the two giant bee like wings.

At age 20, Olivia was forced out of her parents place and into the city with no one to help support her. There wasn't many jobs besides exterminator and that wasn't going to fly. She had always known that there were others like her but now it peeked her interest as others had formed hero groups, so with nothing better to do, she joined the heroes to use her powers for something better then a plain old job.

But when he is found, or is sought out, he has been labled as... 'Unpredictable' no one truely say that they know him, not even his closes friends... if he coud say he had any. He wants to stay out of as much trouble as he can, but in desperate times he is known to be quite 'Electric'.


Powers: Energy manipulation - able to use/manipulate electricity, and pure energy at will, being able to use it as a shield, or use it as a beam like weapon or create spheres of energy that can be thrown, he can also short circuit electronics nearby. Mainly where his nickname comes from.

Power weakness- He can 'short circuit' in combat if he holds up a shield or uses the beam for to long.

Backstory: Born in the city, he was like any other child, normal. That was until the powers showed up. He seemed to have an innate ability with electronics, but when he was angry or sad, the lights tended to flicker. He was bullied at school until he snapped, causing there to be no power in the school, for about a week, and everyone started to treat him differently, he became the center of attention, but he quickly grew to dislike it. He dropped out of school and was homeschooled. He later became great at hiding in plain sight.(kinda suck at backgrounds sorry)

Appearance: Well, she's really fit. She usually wears revealing dresses or things, seeing as she doesn't need physical protection from others. She has long legs, which both come in handy when dealing with males and when being physically tactical in a fight.

Quirks/Habits: Bites her lip, applies lipstick, or plays with her mouth when she's bored. She also has a strange walking pattern, where her left foot must always come before her right.
Fears/Phobias: She's terrified of being captured. Killed, not so much. But being taken in alive freaks her out to no end.
Personality: Yes, Taylor Park. Possibly the most frustrating piece of human being that you'll ever meet in your whole life. She enjoys pushing other's buttons to the point of driving them nuts, but that's only a part of it. She has a dangerous personality. She enjoys breaking and entering, going places she shouldn't, and showing off where she normally wouldn't. This often makes others upset, or some cases okay with her being around.

That's only a part of it. She has a softer side to her harsh personality which exists only because of her past. She was given compassion by a boyfriend who was now deceased, and now aims to give that to others. Yet she's confused and conflicted of her own alignment. Because of this compassion, she will have unwavering loyalty towards her friends despite how much they ask out of her, and will even gladly die for them.

  • Enhanced Flexibility - Taylor's body can twist and turn in many different ways that shouldn't even be possible. She can even be bent without suffering injuries.
  • Enhanced Agility - Taylor's agility is supernaturally enhanced. She can throw herself from ledge to ledge using just her arms, scale a pole upside down using just her legs, handstand at the edge of tall buildings and not worry about falling, walk across a tightrope flawlessly, and beat the crap out of regular humans.
Skills:
Acrobatics/Parkour - She can perform amazing feats of acrobatics, such as backflips, vaults, scaling a rugged building, and running through a crowded place without drawing attention to herself.
Swimming - Taylor is faster than other humans in a body of water. This comes with her agility and flexibility making her somewhat like a sea snake.
Peak Human Stamina - Taylor's stamina is incredibly high for a normal human, which gives her the drive to complete whatever task at hand. This is not a supernatural enhancement of her stamina; it is simply better than that of marathon runners.
Immunity to a certain type of toxin - The toxin on Taylor's lips is capable of making someone pass out. However she is immune to it herself since she spent years developing an immunity.

Weaknesses:
NO PHYSICAL ENHANCEMENTS -
Despite Taylor's ability to take out 35-40 armed opponents, she has no physical attributes that enhance her body in the slightest. Against a mutant, she is just as squishy as a regular human and, for some reason, her power won't work in the face of an enhanced mutant. Sure, there will be agility and hand-to-hand, but she won't be fighting with any supernatural abilities that allow her to take out the usual 35-40.
STAMINA - Taylor's stamina is a major problem. If reinforcements arrive before she's done with the first set of combatants, her mutant ability will fail to recognize the second threat and she may pass out on the spot. Also, if the amount of combatants exceeds 40, then there will be fatigue and other side effects of her power kicking in which are but not limited to nausea, vomiting saliva and bile, hysteria, and in terrible cases, hypoxia.

Backstory: Taylor was born as the first of two children to the Park household. Being the oldest meant several expectations were hampered on her before she even hit an age to do things. And that was why she ran away from home. Her parents never ceased dropping things on her, and hit her if she didn't comply. That was only a part of it. As she ran, she ran into a group of people on the streets that had it going for them. They were able to steal easily and immediately fell in love with Taylor, a perky girl who enjoyed the thrill of the chase as much as they did.

Taylor met her first boyfriend, Phillip in this fiasco of chasing and stealing in the streets and enjoyed him thoroughly because of his compassion and understanding of her state. That was probably what made her light up inside like a Christmas tree. She enjoyed it until...

They tried to steal from an angry farmer. Phillip was shot and killed. The farmer was arrested. So was the rest of her gang. The gang protected Taylor. Taylor could never repay something like that. She lived on in the free world while the rest was arrested. That's what made her want to continue their tradition. Something awakened inside of her at this exact moment, and she ran after the police cars. She followed them all the way to the station, jumped in through the window and, at the face of 20 armed guards...

Took them all out with knockouts. Then she fled the scene, never to be seen again. Up until her next heist, which hasn't occurred just yet...

This character is straight-up approved because, well, necrokinesis is fine. In fact, I like seeing powers like these. Welcome aboard.



I left some noots. Another concern I have is regarding the wings, but I think I'll let it slide because it is an RP about mutants after all :)
Edited out the first though I don't see the problem with the bite thing because, that's the limitation :D
