Formatting Between Themes

Hey,

so I usually use the Night Life theme (unpopular choice for some reason), and I always make my CS' in the Private Workshop section. When I'm finally done with a CS and paste it to where I need to post the CS in the first place, the post retains its black background, making it difficult to read for everyone unless I remove formatting and then recenter, re-bold, re-italicize, re-bullet point, etc. manually on the CS page. It gets a little annoying after a while, y'know? The opposite happens if I use the default theme—if I post that to the CS page and change to Night Life, the CS has an entirely white background, making it legible but look jarring and contrasting to the theme at the same time.

tl;dr Do you think you guys could take a look at the algorithm for copy/pasting content and try to figure out a way for the background to have an "automatic" color like the text?

tl:dr basically source button is your friend, and blah de blah blah.

EDIT. So basically you click the Source Button. Copy everything. You go to a new post. You click Source again. You paste everything.

I realized that didn't come out as clearly as I meant for it to.

a way to do this. is to copy and paste the coding. i am pretty sure if you do that it doesn't keep the background.

But I shall check now by blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah...

Yeah if you click the source button, copy and paste all the information within that then paste that directly into your new post than it keeps the automatic background of whichever theme your using.

Thanks! I'll use this in the future. If I have any problems, I'll just come back.

This is pretty much the best way to do it if you have a lot of formatting you don't want to lose.
