Welcome to the character sheet thread! You may use the CS base I will provide or create your own as long as it contains a sufficient amount of information. Before you create your CS, keep in mind some of this information and make sure you know which role youd like to choose!
Roles and Rules:
Subject roles:
Tier 1 subject: Tier 1 subjects aren't usually very dangerous. The powers these subjects have are easy to deal with and generally wouldn't kill any staff as long as they follow safety protocols. Keep in mind that 'safe' isn't based on whether or not the subject would attack a staff member, but on how dangerous their abilities are. Most of the subjects in the Tier 1 category are people with physical differences, such as claws or gills, though there are some that have supernatural abilities. Tier 1 subs are allowed to roam freely throughout the facility at all hours besides lights out.
Tier 2 subject: These subjects are considered to be moderately dangerous. Tier 2 subs are usually pretty hard to control, though it isn't impossible. Those in tier 2 would have abilities that are capable of killing someone, though it's a rare occurrence as long as staff members follow safety protocols. A majority of tier 2 members have supernatural abilities, some have both supernatural and physical changes, and some have large physical changes that may pose a major threat (Such as a dragon or large animal.) Tier 2 are allowed to roam freely throughout the facility only from 3-8 pm.
Tier 3 subject: Tier 3 subjects are highly hazardous to staff members, and require more than just normal safety precautions based on the abilities of the subject. Most tier 3 subjects can easily kill a staff member that isn't above a rank 3 security guard, so each subject is assigned at least one rank three or higher security guard during tier 3 free time. Tier three free time is separated from the rest, the area they are allowed to roam being a glass(The glass is not glass, its very strong and will withstand a lot of force) box with small holes in them in which other subjects may communicate through. Tier 3 subjects are never allowed to be face to face with any other being unless with 2 or more tier 3 or higher security guards. Tier 3 free time is from 9 am to 1 pm, tier 1 subjects are allowed to visit and talk to tier 3 as long as the tier 3 subjects stay in their glass boxes.
Subject staff: Subject staff can fill any staff role, but are treated as subjects in a way that they are tested on and put in cells during lights out. Subject staff can promote to full staff if they:
1. have never attacked a staff member.
2. have never shown any form of favoritism to a subject.
3. perform their duties well.
4. Have never attempted escape.
Staff roles:
Security:
Rank 1 (Otherwise known as a cadet): Cadets are new to the lab and have only recently started training. They may not preform any dangerous tasts unless with a rank 2 guard or higher. Rank 2 guards train rank 1 guards so they can promote. Rank 1 guards common tasks are: Cleaning tier 1 cells, patrolling tier 1 subs as they roam the building, escorting medical and science staff to destinations that may be dangerous, occasionally put in with tier 2 subs while with a rank 2 or higher guard, never put face to face with tier 3 unless All Hands protocol is called.
Rank 2 guard: Rank 2 guards usually train cadets in their free time, though their main duties are to clean tier 2 cells, be present during tier 1 or 2 testing, guard science and medical staff as they perform their duties with subjects, patrolling tier 2 and 1 subjects as they roam the building during their free times, and occasionally being present during tier 3 free times. Rank 2 guards are not allowed to enter tier 3 sub cells as they are not trained in the safety protocols. They may only enter tier 3 cells with a rank 3 guard.
Rank 3 guard: Rank 3 guards are considered to be higherups and are allowed to give commands to anyone lower than them. They will occasionally train cadets, though they mostly train rank 2 guards. Rank 3 guards are always present during tier 3 sub free time, tier 3 sub-feeding time, and are present in the room with scientists or medical staff if they enter a tier 3 cell. Rank 3 guards are usually the ones to deal with tier 2 and 1 subs when they struggle or attempt to harm a staff member.
Rand 4 guard: Rank 4 guards are the ones that train rank 3 guards. Rank 4 deals with any subjects that have attempted to hurt a staff member and are always present to escort tier 3 subs to their free time zones. Rank 4 guards will be seen roaming at any and all free times, and are usually the ones to punish rowdy subjects. Rank 4 guards are always the ones to take subjects to nighttime testing.
Scientist: Scientist (Otherwise known as researchers) are the staff that performs tests on subjects. Scientists may not perform a test on a subject that is ranked 2 or higher unless a guard is present. Scientists may interview subjects in their free time or rest. Testing that happens in the morning isn't harmful, usually consisting of physicals, monitoring of health, and tests that are dependent on subject cooperation. At night, harmful tests are performed, such as dissection, endurance testing, and testing that subjects are forced into.
Medical staff:
Doctor: doctors are in charge of major surgeries and life-threatening illnesses. Doctors are respected by all staff as medical personnel is extremely important to the lab.
Nurse: Nurses assist doctors during major surgeries or life-threatening situations, though they are mostly the ones who deal with minor injuries and monitor subjects with conditions. Nurses are normally present during testing in case the subject needs to be sedated.
Application staff:
Head scientist: May give orders to all other scientists and may perform any testing they would like at any given time.
Head Security: Can give orders to all other security, put in place lockdown, and give the All Hands command.
Unplayable roles:
???: Seen around the facility and treated with respect by all staff, though they don't seem to have a specific job. They are usually seen doing high-ranking security work.
Cleaning staff: Staff that is hired to keep the facility clean and the staff zones perfect for the staff so they have a nice place to sleep after a hard day's work.
