Alright, here it is, the CS thread! Here you can post all your wonderful characters as we plan to get started with our little adventure! This is not a multi-character rp so each person should have only one character. Of course there may be exceptions to this depending on the character!

First of all, I want to go over the power limit! Although I want y'all to be as creative as you want, your characters should not be over powered in any way. The stronger your character is, the more weaknesses they must have, and I might refuse your character if they are too over powered in general. Please make your character in a way that will not limit their intractability with other characters, but have fun with any design you want!

Here is a list of all the things that are required to add to the CS, but you may add more to it if you want:

Brief description of personality: Troy Jenkins is a well minded man, who can tolerate most insults. He is nice but stays focused when on the job, but he will do heroics if it comes to someone he cares about.

•Believes that the monsters can turn back to humans or their normal selves, which has costed him some lives.

Biography:
Troy Jenkins is a man of good posture and behaviour, coming from a family of military background. He is 34 years old, born in June of 1985. He began at a military academy like all of his siblings, at the age of 15. He was then scouted and put into the 77th Airborne corps (Doesn’t actually exist IRL) at the age of 21 and was then transferred after 5 years of service to the CIA, at the age of 26, where he continues to work. If it still exists, as the unknown species raided the planet and killed some of the leaders.

Avi is a darkly colored automaton with a generally friendly appearance. Although mostly shaped like a human, Avi has a few unnatural features, such as claws and a thin whip-like tail with a few feathers made of fiberglass at the end. He stands at about 5’7, and appears to have the physique of the average adult male.

Avi typically keeps his hair pulled back into a short ponytail, and wears his work clothes- which consists of a button up shirt and dark pants- every day. Although he often isn't allowed to be in personal choice clothing, when he does have the option he typically wears warm sweaters and comfort clothes, prioritizing how he feels more than how he appears.

Being a robot, Avi's eyes are very expressive, any and all emotion he might have being displayed solely by his eyes. He does not have a mouth so he is incapable of smiling or really making facial expressions at all. His eyes are able to grow, shrink, or really turn into any image since they are just a screen!

Personality:

Positives

Friendly: Avi doesn't like to make enemies, and will usually be as kind as he can be to others. It is very rare that he will act aggressive or rude towards another person.

Encouraging: Everyone has their own struggles, and Avi doesn't like that one bit! He always tries to encourage the people around him, especially when they are feeling down!

Gentle: Despite his line of work, Avi is very gentle when handling other people. He may have large claws but he doesn't like to use them.

Negatives

Anxious: He is always nervous, and almost never feels like he's doing the right thing. If faced with adversity, it isn't uncommon for him to shut down and panic.

Quiet: His employers don't seem to like it when he talks a lot, so he's gotten used to not saying anything. Although he does speak, it's usually in a very quiet tone, and he's terrified to be any louder.

Submissive: Avi does not defend himself. He wasn't hired to fight back, he was hired to work. Besides, his employers are always right. That's what they always told him!

Abilities:

Avi is a robot! He does not need food or water to stay alive, and is very resilient when it comes to damage. He has a very mild built in self regeneration ability, so he can usually heal off mild injuries over time! His sharp claws also serve as great weapons, and they provide him the ability to climb almost any surface. Other than that, he is very strong and doesn't have much to limit his stamina.

Weaknesses:

Unfortunately, being a robot has its downsides as well. Avi is very easily tampered with, and he isn't sure exactly what people could do to him knowing that hackers and viruses exist. Thankfully Avi has been able to avoid any complications so far.... At least, he thinks so. Would he really know if someone decided to do something to him?

Other than that, being exposed to electricity can easily cause a power surge and make him malfunction temporarily. Pretty much any weaknesses a robot might have applies to Avi, which isn't great for him!

Other:

Avi is not just a robot. He used to be human. Unfortunately, he was one of the many who disappeared during the raid, and he came back completely changed. Avi remembers what happened. He doesn't like to talk about it.

Name: Caspian Langley

Appearance: Caspian is a scrawny and short teenager who has pale blonde hair and hazel eyes. His hair is neck length, but it is shaggy and incredibly unruly due to him not knowing how to cut it, often falling in front of his eyes. As a result of all of his time previously spent outside, he has scattered freckles on his cheeks, nose, and shoulders. His skin is pale to the point of nearly appearing gray, there are streaks of white discoloration in his hair, and the color of his eyes is significantly faded, due to the toll his powers have taken on him.

Personality: To most who would see Caspian on a surface level, they might assume that he is simply an absentminded, socially awkward teenager. Whenever he's around strangers or people who don't share his same interests, he tries to be polite, but he rarely says much without it being very quiet or deadpan. He is not the assertive type, and will usually reluctantly go along with what someone says unless it conflicts with his strongest beliefs. He will often commit to doing something for anyone he fears due to wanting to please them, but will almost always lose the will to do it and end up giving up on it. He doubts himself and his own abilities a lot as a result of this, having mostly resigned himself to being a failure when it comes to meeting people's expectations. Whenever Caspian is put under pressure or feels incredibly afraid, he often struggles with panic attacks. His coping mechanism is to retreat into his own head until the problem goes away, normally spacing out and daydreaming while fidgeting with the one remnant of the outside world that he was able to keep: a vibrant red bird feather.

Despite being a pushover sometimes, Caspian still has little patience for putting up with people's nonsense, and so if he's pushed too hard, he won't hesitate to either tune someone out or leave them behind entirely. He has a short attention span for anything that he isn't truly invested in doing, and can easily become distracted. His special interest is botany and animals, and so he could talk about those subjects excitedly and for hours, but he rarely is interested in other subjects. He is very curious about anything he doesn't know, as well as observant.

Despite how awkward he might seem, out in nature, Caspian used to be much like a blossoming flower unfurling its petals. He is very confident with navigation and survival out in the wild, barely ever second guessing himself. In general he is much more bold when he is alone, talking to himself more cheerfully than he would to anyone else. He used to have a lot of animal friends out in the wild that he would also converse with regularly, but now settles for talking to their illusory forms. He frequently smiles, joyfully laughs, and make bird calls when he believes he's outside, even though nowadays it's only his own illusions.

Even though Caspian used to be very adventurous and passionate about documenting nature, ever since he was put into this facility, he has been mostly living within his own daydreams in order to cope with the trauma of what he's gone through. He is in denial about his own circumstances and tries to pretend that he isn't in a facility at all, mostly because that's the only way to keep his powers at bay. Unfortunately, whenever he is taken to be experimented on, this fragile delusion breaks. He rarely ever remembers any of the details of what happens after that.

Abilities: Caspian has the ability to create illusions within his surroundings. They most often appear without him doing anything to summon them, and he can't really make them disappear until he ends up falling asleep. Usually, his illusions can only span the radius of the room he is in, and he can't make any illusions appear in places that he can't see or be in himself. Caspian's illusions reflect his mental state. Whenever he is in control of his emotions, he makes harmless illusions, turning his room into a sunny meadow and frequently hanging out with friendly creatures from his dreams or memories. But whenever Caspian's anxiety, fear, and frustration gets the better of him, the illusions become nightmarish. He loses control of them, and monstrous creatures from his nightmares or representations of his greatest fears will end up manifesting even without him summoning them. If Caspian is ever overwhelmed with terror and distress to the point of desperation, he has the ability to start subconsciously manifesting the fears or nightmares manifest into illusion of anyone who is close proximity to him. This is a defense mechanism that is only possible when his power is pushed to its limits.

As long as Caspian is focusing on his illusions, they will be tangible, and feel real to whoever is in close proximity to them. To anyone who is viewing the illusions at a distance, they'll always appear slightly blurred and out of focus.

Weaknesses: Casting illusions takes a lot out of Caspian, and so he can only do it for a limited amount of time. The bigger the illusion, the more tiring it is for him to maintain. A lot of the times he can't control how long the illusions are present, and so he ends up tiring out really easily, and sleeping a lot of the day. The more tired he gets, the more faded, intangible, and transparent his illusions become. Once he is unconscious, all of his illusions disappear. The longer that Caspian continues freely using his ability, the more pale and inhuman that his appearance gradually becomes, although it has not taken its toll too severely yet.

Backstory: Caspian was born on a farm in the country, and spent his early childhood there. He was very happy there, not really interested in going to school or play with kids his age as long as he had his imaginary friends and animals that he loved to take care of. Unfortunately, a tragic car accident led to him being orphaned at any early age. Not wanting to be forced to live with a bunch of strangers in the foster system, he chose the next best option- living with his fairly wealthy uncle in a small city.

Caspian tried to stay out of his uncle's way and be as polite of a house guest as possible, but found that they still didn't really get along that well regardless. His uncle was fairly abrasive, and had strict expectations for him. Caspian was expected to clean up for himself, cook his own meals, was sent off to school as quickly as possible, and that was that. He tried to focus on his schooling, but found himself struggling in that area, too. Not only did he not connect with his peers, but it was also very difficult for him to concentrate on the lessons without zoning out. The more years that passed, the more frustrating that his problems became, until all he wanted was to get away from it all.

Eventually, Caspian started to skip some of his classes in order to walk outside of town and spend the rest of his day in the countryside. He greatly enjoyed exploring, and started keeping a journal of the plants and animals he saw. Eventually, he ended up spending more time outdoors than he did in his uncle's home. That was where he was when the raid was underway, having spent the night camping out in nature and watching the migrating birds. He saw the fog coming, but was unable to get back home before it struck.

Whatever happened to Caspian in the fog has been mostly obscured, locked away deep within his memories as a result of how traumatic that event was. All he clearly remembered was seeing the shadowy silhouette of a terrifying creature slowly stalking towards him out of the mist, and being able to do nothing but stare as it approached. After that, he remembered nothing else except sluggishly trudging home, falling asleep several times along the way. He came home, finding his uncle still alive. The two reunited, growing just a little closer than they had previously in the face of the horrific event that they had both faced. But then, not long after Caspian had gotten back, the illusions started. At first he had no idea what was happening, and his initial terror made them even worse, causing horrible nightmarish creatures to plague their home for weeks. Initially Caspian wanted to run away and live in the wilderness so that he could handle whatever was going on without having to worry about hurting anybody, but his uncle convinced him to try to get help. Reluctantly, he allowed himself to be sent to Forest Glade a few months after it had opened, and he has been there ever since.

Extra: Caspian's most constant illusory companions are a feisty and protective green hummingbird named Pippin, and a little armadillo named Benny.

She was among those who vanished in the fog, reemerging with newfound abilities. At Forest Glade, Abby initially saw an opportunity to understand and control her powers. However, as the institute transformed under the new ownership, she grew disillusioned and fearful of the intentions behind her confinement. Abby's intelligence, coupled with her emotional resilience, makes her a key figure in the planned escape from Forest Glade.

History/Backstory: Jack Kol is a known business man from Stockholm, Sweden. He was born on the 21st of November, 1973. His Father is from Stockholm as well, and owns the business “Kol Weapons technologies”, which supplied militaries around the world, which Jack ended up inheriting after he got his degree in entrepreneurship and business. His mother on the other hand, was from El Segundo, California, near Los Angeles, where Jack lived before the attack. His mother died at the age of 47, leaving him and his Father alone.



After the events of the attack, Jack Kol aided Forest Glade, funding them their weapons, and most of their tech. He then became one of the 15 general managers, otherwise known as the “Administrators”. Jack now has a small amount of power, as each of the Administrators has a role. Jacks role is to keep Forest Glade militarised and give them sufficient medical supplies and tools. He works alongside the Administrator of Anomalous activity, who helps direct training of any superpowers that they encounter.



As a supplier, Jack spends plenty of funds on this project. His ultimate goal? To restore world peace. But something lurks darker inside of him. As well as most of the Administrators, the thing they have most infinitely is money. A no-one can’t just become one of these 15. Jack has millions of dollars, and isn’t afraid to spend a small fortune on this project. None of the other 14 Administrators are stupid either, as they see this is a way to become famous, as a saviour who lead the humans to victory. That leads to the question, what side is Jack Kol really on?

Cliodhna Nieve Badica, otherwise known as Clio, is a patient turned prisoner of Forest Glade Institute, the daughter of television star turned producer Simon Bailey Badica and supermodel Yves Chanel Badica (nee Bartlett), the niece of Hermes Laurent Bartlett, and one of those who gained powers after the fog. Her childhood was difficult, frought with drugs and public appearances, but that all ended when her parents dumped her into Forest Glade Institute when her powers surfaced.
