Weird, I know, but after watching The Brady Bunch Sequel, I have a sudden craving for a step-sister/daughter x step-brother/father story.
If you have seen my previous posts, you should be aware of my basic rules:
1) Even in such a generic role play, literacy is a must. I can understand writer’s block, but I would rather wait a couple of days for a decent response than receive a one-liner within minutes.
2) I don’t do face claims or character sheets. If you do, that’s fine, but I’m old school and still expect a traditional introduction. If you absolutely demand it, I can whip up a quick character sheet. At least until August 4th, though, I’m working from a smart phone with maybe a couple of hours at a desktop at work.
3) Frequency. I live and work the basic 9-5 EST, so I can’t respond 24-7. I can, however, post multiple times per day. Same time zone is definitely NOT a necessity, as some of my favorite role playing partners live in different time zones; if you are going to be away for an extended period of time, though, (a couple of days or more) and still wish to continue the story, please let me know.
4) Maturity and/or limits. If there is anything you’re uncomfortable with, such as cursing, alcohol/drug use, etc., PLEASE let me know. If this role play is taking place via PM, site rules, regulations, and limitations apply. If it takes place via email, we can discuss personal preferences. I do not role play through any other venue.
5) Depth. Even though it’s a rather trashy and contrite pairing, I still expect depth in the characters and (if we can can decide upon one) plot.
All of that said and done, let me say this now (I will bold, capitalize, and italicize it for emphasis): I WILL PLAY THE FEMALE CHARACTER. I have absolutely nothing against the LGBTQ+ community and even identify as part of that community; it’s just not my forte, though, and is not what I’m seeking at this moment.
