One Thousand Club
Hundreds of thousands of years ago the battle between heaven and hell started. What was once a minor conflict became an all-out war. For thousands of years both sides have suffered and caused major bloodshed and many, many deaths. About a little over 10 thousand years ago the Council of Nine was formed. Their purpose was, and is, to keep order among the three races (angel, hellion and human) and hopefully keep them from destroying each other. To disobey the Council of Nine is an almost certain death. All three races have three representatives on the council and all three races respect and sometimes resent the council. Of course since the council can’t be in every place at once they have the Shadow Guard to watch over the three worlds as well. The Shadow Guard is an elite group of supernatural beings- mostly spirits- who are skilled in speed, strength and agility. They don’t really ever show themselves unless a crime has been committed, which is basically a way to say that if you see them you’re in some deep trouble.
Now it’s present day and the two conflicting sides have decided to take their battle to earth, where no one will have an advantage but everyone, especially humans, will have a disadvantage. The problem with all this is one of the most important rules of the Council of Nine is in danger of being broken. Humans can never know that the Hellions and the Angels exist. Even the theory of them existing has caused so much controversy that the Council fears it will be chaos if they were to find out the truth.
Eresam walked around the streets glaring at the humans passing by. She hoped so much for some unlucky angel to pass by her so she could drag it off into an alley and slowly slash it's wings. She laughed to herself just thinking about it. She hated the angels but rather than have them dead she wanted them to suffer eternally until they died. Torturing them was a favorite pass time of hers. She liked how they screamed only when they were in excruciating pain, unlike humans who cried at the smallest scratch. Although it was much easier to find a human to torture than an angel and so she had to settle for the latter most of the time.
Suddenly she spotted an angel and she grinned menacingly. He was fairly young- unexperienced- and also hadn't seen her yet. Perfect. She thought. As stealthily as she could she ran up and grabbed him, covering his mouth and dragging him into an alley. She looked around for any witnesses and happily found there were none. She threw the young angel against a wall and wondered what she would do first. Oh, how much fun she would have carefully ripping apart his wings with her fangs. But she wondered if it would be fun to also cut him up a little with her blade. In the end of course the obvious choice was to do both.
(would've added more but my hand started cramping up haha)
