So I had this idea, and since for those of you who have never seen me before don't know that I love Pokemon, I was going to pitch the idea of a Pokemon RP. Sorry if this isn't the most popular of subjects, but I feel most confident in Roleplaying of this franchise.
So in the Hoenn region they realized that beginning your journey as a trainer at 10 was far to young, so they raised the minimum age to be a Pokemon trainer to 16. However, the year they switched there were no new Pokemon trianers in Hoenn. That being said, some 16 year olds at that time decided that it would be better for them to set off on their own journey without the official started Pokemon. So a handful of 16 year olds went out, caught their own Pokemon and set off on their journey.
A new threat clouded the Hoenn region though. A group of sea-loving criminals, most members were former team Aqua members, formed a Pirating gang that loots the Hoenn region of its many treasures and causes havoc to all seaside towns. Most seaside towns in fact evacuated in order to save themselves from being tormented from the Pirates.
So I was planning to have the whole RP base off of the Roleplayers being self-made Pokemon trianers that set off in their journey only a few months previous to where they are when we start (assuming we ever do.). Then they go and fight off the Pirates and whatever dangers come with. Maybe some people can be Pirates, but I'm not sure how that would work so...I'll think about it.
