LucidHowl Maybe my guy knows your guys father because hes had dealings with some criminals in the past. So you guy and my guy have met around the city in like clubs or stores or something like they know each other but they don't 'know' each other.

That works. He's a city official too so he could have gotten orders from him at some point in time as well.
