Artemis Lunala - Alpha - Astra Pack - Human Form
Glad when he didn't protest further, as she'd almost expected him to, Artemis nodded. He knew how much this all meant to her, how much she worried about hurting one of her pack mates. This was the only way to stop it, since they'd found no way to keep her sane during those times. She knew he didn't like it, chaining her up, but nothing else could be done about the situation.
Huffing softly at his words, she shook her head, "I didn't. I've barely seen anyone today, I assumed they were all having a lay in." She commented with a small smile, "But we are down to our last stocks, and the hatchlings need proper food. I can start getting the dungeon ready, if you'd like to go and make a party up?" She asked

Ignoring the gesture toward him by Lucas, Styx tilted his head and frowned. He huffed softly, "And how would you know that he's been running after the hatchlings Lucas? Which one have you been frightening now?" He asked, watching the other carefully. The hatchlings were their future warriors, they didn't need to be hurt by Lucas if the older dragon went too far in his jokes, "I haven't seen him, since I just woke up." He returned, a sharp tone to his voice, "Lets go find him. Since you're so eager."

  • Raubahn
    Raubahn stiffened at Artemis' orders. He didn't mind getting the party ready. There was still time for him to gather a party and to do a final check on the chains before the storm.
    He nodded to Artemis and walked around the table to Artemis' side. He bowed his head slightly in respect to her, and gave her a side smile.
    "I'll be back soon to help ya. Hopefully most of the pack hasn't wandered to far."
    Before leaving, Raubahn placed one of his large hands on her shoulder and gave it a slight squeeze of reassurance. He then turned back to the large doors and closed them on his way out.

    Raubahn's first stop was his forge. He was fairly certain he would find Rash somewhere near by, but he also needed to check on his forge which he had left running. As he stepped up to the opening in the half high wall that surrounded the outside portion of his forge, he glanced around and gave a quick shout.
    "Rash? You somewhere around here?'
    He gave the other a moment to reply while he went to his forge and began poking at the hot coals within. The bar he had set within it was glowing with a soft red light, but it had already begun to cool. That was fine, Raubahn would have to start over when he got finished organizing the hunting party.

Kestin Evergreen- Omega- Astra

Kestin came to a stop when he noticed his fellow Omega come to a stop. He turned and watched her pick up Shadowflower, a smile touching his lips as he faced forward and continued to walk. He glanced at the hatchlings, counting each head to make sure they were all here as he led them toward the kitchen. Hearing Ash speak, the omega frowned and glanced at her, shaking his head. "No. You're not useless, Ash. Don't say that," Kestin said, frowning at her before looking ahead. "You think I'm not too cold for them? They don't like being near me when they sleep, and I'm okay with that. It's not our job to cuddle them, we just need to watch them. Make sure they're okay, Ash. You're doing your job just as I am. You watch them, make sure they behave," Kestin shrugged and stepped into the kitchens. "you're not useless, Ash. Far from it," Kestin said, coming to a stop as he looked at her.

Slade Kresney- Alpha Male- Draven

Slade shook his head and stormed down the hall, his tail moving side to side with every step he took. The alpha male came to a stop as he heard Lucas' voice around the corner, annoyance flickering in his gaze. He rounded the corner and approached the two, "what the hell do you two want? Better not waste my time," the alpha snapped, looking down at the other two. He was already having a bad morning chasing down Tawny and lecturing the omega, he didn't want to deal with any more trouble. "You want to hear todays plan, yes?" the dragon asked, looking between the two.

Before either of them could speak, Slade spoke up. "I need the both of you. The three of us will go to the Astra pack, to reason with them, to talk them into joining us. The healers and the omega will stay here to watch the hatchlings. We will be leaving at noon to get ready," the alpha said before turning and walking away from the warrior and the beta.

Tritt Kresney- Hatchling- Draven

Tritt hit the ground with the thud as he was kicked off, breaking into laughter as he pushed himself to a stand. He growled playfully, a dark glint in his eyes as he grinned. "This is the part where you run away," Tritt said slowly before jumping at Levi, roaring playfully. This was one of Tritts favorite things to do, even if his father hated it. He knew he would always have his hatchling friends, even Tawny.

Glad for her Beta's reassurances, she watched him go reluctantly. It cheered her up a little, to know how much he truly cared for her welfare, noting that he hadn't seemed happy that she'd asked him to set the party up and for her to go set the dungeons up. Probably because he wouldn't be able to convince her to lessen the amount of chains if he wasn't there. Slipping out of the room a few minutes later, she went down to the dungeons in question. The door had multiple locks, though they were currently open. They'd be locked firmly later. Once inside, she started her inspection of the chains just to make sure they were up to her standard, and also hunted out the muzzle. She felt particularly uncertain about tonight, but this calmed her nerves. If she couldn't get out she couldn't harm anyone.

Styx heard the footsteps before he noticed Slade, and turned his head toward the other curiously, unbothered by the other's snappy mood. He nodded at the question, and at the following order, "Of course Alpha." He returned, bowing his head in respect. But really, was Styx just something pretty to look at? Did the Alpha not want to inform him of these plans, discuss these plans, before deciding? Because honestly, even trying to speak to Astra seemed like a waste of time. They were far too peaceful to even think of joining Draven, whose goal was to gain as much territory and obedience as possible. Plus, anyone with eyes could see the storm coming, and they'd likely have to travel a fair distance. Which.... meant that the storm would probably be closing in by the time they got there. So much for keeping his scales dry.

Looking at Lucas, he raised an eyebrow, "Happy now?" He hissed

Keeping Shadowflower in her arms even as the little one shifted, she kept an eye on the others walking in front of them. She didn't want any of them to harm themselves, and even once they were at the bottom of the stairs and walking down the hallway she cuddled Shadowflower close. Peering at Kestin, she bit her lip quietly, "T-Thank you." she murmured softly, "B-But you and Al do more for them than I do..." She peered back at Shadowflower in her arms.

Leviathan 'Levi' Lunala - Hatchling - Draven Pack - Dragon Form
Laughing joyfully as Tritt pounced at him, roaring back in the same excited, playful manner, as he charged forward. They rolled together across the floor, Levi's tiny wings fluttering as he laughed. It was great fun, to play with his best friend, and Levi really did love spending time with Tritt. Even if Slade didn't seem to like his son playing around, Levi would be happy to point out they were play-fighting, so technically could be seen as training.

Pausing as Ash heard something, she blinked at Shadowflower. It took her a moment to realise the hatchling had spoken. Spoken. Shadowflower had said a word. And... called Ash her mother? She blushed, and gave the child a grin, holding her close, "Shadowflower! Oh little one!" She chirped excitedly, very much more happy than she had been moments ago when speaking of her usefulness, "Kestin! She spoke!" She told the other Omega, despite the fact that he, and all of the others in the group, had likely heard.

  • Raubahn
    Raubahn spent a small measure of time gathering a few items around the forge, and waiting for Rash to appear. The dragon seemed to have wandered off on his own and unfortunately Raubahn did not have the time to wait. He slid a hammer back into the holder of his anvil and ducked his head under the entry way as he left the forge once again. As he walked towards the castle, he snagged several warriors from the surrounding area, ones he knew would be at least competent enough to take care of some hunting. He gave them orders as he found them, head out into the surrounding forest and hunt down some meat and vegetation to stock the larders, and they bounded off as he instructed. I would have preferred to either go with them, or to at least send some more experienced dragon with them, but Artemis would be waiting for him in the dungeons and he needed to attend to her.
    Raubahn made his way towards the entry gates of the castle as he watched his warriors head out, when he caught the sight of another dragon out of the corner of his eye. Raubahn raised a hand and waved to Astiel, a perfect candidate for a responsible Dragon to send out into the hunting party.
    "Howdy Astiel, hows it going?"​

Top
