Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock.
It's been six months. Six months since you last saw your parents. Six months since you saw your friends' smiling faces. Six months since you've breathed the scent of fresh air; been graced with the gift of freedom. You never realized how much you took these little things for granted when you were still living your average, day-to-day life. However, now that you're sitting on the firm and stripped mattress of your so-called 'bed', you realize what it's like to be caged. This isn't a room, despite how much it appears to be. There's a dresser, a bed, another room with a toilet, carpeting on the floors, and even a window (although it's barred). But this room isn't your room. It isn't a room in general. It's a cell.
Outside, they've been looking for you. Police investigators, SWAT teams, even the FBI got involved at one point when it was realized you weren't the only one taken. They believe there's a serial killer at stake, but you know that that's not true. The government would never suspect themselves of a kidnapping, now would they? Or are they fully aware, and are they doing all of these useless searches to lower suspicion? Either way, you haven't been found.
Everyone's about to give up. You can feel it burning in your gut.
Just as the feeling was about to become unbearable, they said it was time. You had asked what it was time for, whether it be in anger or sadness or even hopelessness you had not a clue. However, no matter how your words sounded, you were given an answer.
"It's time to fledge."
MISSING
Eight teens reported missing in the New York City area. Eight teens between the ages of 14 and 19 were reported missing from the New York City area Saturday afternoon, Septermber 13th, 2130. Police reported that there were an even number of males and females missing and are convinced that the situation having taken place was a kidnapping. Investigations have gone underway, but so far detectives cannot find any link connected the teens together. There appears to be no common theme in the kidnappings, and families of those reported missing say that they do not recognize the others who were also reported missing.
Police investigators and detectives are searching doggedly for clues, but so far the only evidence provided is the presence of a black feather at each area the teens were last seen. Police are unsure which way to turn, but hold hopes out that they will find the teens.
The year is 2130. Humanity has developed a deeper understanding for the human brain and how it operates. Scientists have 'chosen' 8 teenagers to use in an experiment. These teenagers were specially chosen out of 50 others, having been watched and studied for quite some time. Their personalities were matched up to popular songs. Scientists have chosen them to participate in simulations to study human behavior.
These eight teenagers are being let loose in one of four specially crafted environments. These environments replicate their reality counterparts, their only difference is they are controlled areas and are overlooked by the scientists through cameras and state-of-the-art technology.
You are one of those teenagers chosen. With your ear tagged and memory foggy, you have been dropped into one of the environments with a partner, another kidnapped teen. The two of you have to work together to get through the simulations and find the other six teenagers. Your goal is to find freedom by outsmarting the scientists and using their technology against them.
Some of you may die. Some may 'fall in love' while others may 'fall in hate'. Either way, you all settle aside your differences and agree that you need to escape and return to reality. However, no one can predict the future, and who's to say you may fail? Only time will tell.
But for now, you are simply a fledgling. Will you fly, or crash?

Just an interest check for an old roleplay I did!
I was wondering if anyone was interested, is all. vuv
You'd be able to pick the songs and such and all you gotta do is just lemme know.
I'll work out any bugs, as this is simply copied and pasted. owo"
