Never Knows Best
Notable Sinnoh Locales
Twinleaf Town: Population 1700
Twinleaf has never been anything more than a quiet rural village. Its only claim to fame is that one of the youngest Sinnoh Champions ever was born here. A few enterprising adventurers pass through each week to show their respect and honor the legacy of the underdog, but not much else attracts anyone.
Sandgem Town: Population 14,000
Sandgem is a popular tourist destination. The famous Rowan University and its renowned Pokemon Research Laboratory brings droves of keen students. The nearby beach is also a great attraction. Naturally there's some friction between the students, the residents, and the out-of-towners, but all share a love of Sandgem.
Jubilife City: Population 641,000
The bustling, modern heart of Sinnoh. The forefront of technology, innovation, and entertainment in the area. Devon Co. Sinnoh Corporate Headquarters, Jubilife TV, and even the Jubilife Trainer's School make irresistable attractions to all sorts of people.
Oreburgh City: Population 5900
Once a vibrant boom town, Sinnoh's gradual move towards renewable energy has hit the local economy hard. The blue collar population of this coal town are good, honest people with a bleak outlook on their future.
Floaroma Town: Population 16,400
A gorgeous, expensive town. Residents are predominantly white-collar workers that commute south to work in Jubilife. A handful of very expensive bed-and-breakfast establishments make a mint giving tourists a taste of the good life. The routes leading out of town are dotted with berry farms and meadows of wildflowers.
Eterna City: Population 89,000
Eterna is one of the oldest cities in Sinnoh and has a rich history because of it. Old buildings, some lovingly restored, others crumbling, line Main Street. Architects and history buffs swarm around the city during the warmer months. Naturally, there's many reports of hauntings, but there's also an underground art scene with a special focus on sculpting.
Hearthome City: Population 117,000
Hearthome is a city of immigrants and co-existence. Pokemon Contests in Sinnoh got their start here when immigrants from Hoenn brought the cultural tradition along with them. The city is densely-packed and quite built up, with multi-family homes being the norm.
Solaceon Town: Population 8300
More people know about the nearby Solaceon Ruins than the town for which they were named. And so, the town becomes a 'base camp' of sorts for archaeologists and adventurers looking to explore the ruins.
Veilstone City: Population 73,000
A city of commerce. The financial center of Sinnoh. Somewhat isolated by road routes, it has an expansive airport and a bustling port. The average tourist only comes to buy goods on the cheap, or on their way to other regions. Rumor has it that this is a stronghold of the criminal underworld. It would certainly fit the gritty, urban environment.
Pastoria City: Population 23,000
Not much brings people to the town in the Great Marsh unless they are naturalists or collectors on the way to the Safari Zone. The climate is pleasant enough, though. The town has steadily been growing, which causes conflict with the protected Marsh and Safari Zone, and new construction is plagued by the high water table.
Celestic Town: Population 4500
Considered to be, by many scholars, the origin of the Church of Arceus. Some devout pilgrims make the trip, and the local economy depends on selling crafts and religious icons to them.
Canalave City: Population 36,000
Canalave has been a city that has experienced many changes. First settled by would-be invaders from Unova, it became a freight port, and eventually a center for literature and scholarly studies.
Snowpoint City: Population 31,000
Snowpoint is known for logging and skiing. The city has been slow to change, and people tend to be well-prepared for the brutal weather of the winter.
Sunyshore City: Population 240,000
Party city! The climate and perpetual sunshine brings tourists for summer vacation. Cruises often stop here and passengers and tourists burn money in the local bazaars and shops. It also happens to be a large source of power for the rest of the region, and zoning laws are always balancing economy and solar fields.
