Stefan's Pokemon

Panzer: Unbeknownst to Stefan, Panzer was hatched at the legendary Zanover ranch but was one of a half-dozen freshly hatched pokemon that were stolen in a succesfull Rocket-backed theft. When then-officer Stefan participated in a raid on the local Cerulean gambling halls, he volunteered to rehabilitate the aron they confiscated. The 'shiny' aron responded well to Stefan's thoroughly researched methods and attention and became a fast ally; Naturally, now-sergeant Stefan relies heavily on his most loyal (and bulletproof) pokemon.

Panzer has the ability to mega-evolve. Stefan wears a steel bracer crafted from his shed plates.

Solara: A growlithe is standard-issue among all Law-Enforcement officers. Solara is Stefan's, and objectively not particularly special among her breed. Stefan probably babies her more than is suitable for a working police Arcanine, and enjoys relaxing nestled in her mane.

Dadara: Dadara was caught with the assistance of a Blackthorn Dragon Master. Stefan was struck by its fierce survival instinct and relative ferocity throughout all stages of its life.

Pneumos: When Stefan became Sergeant of Cerulean City, one of the local gym trainers joked that he needed to get a good water pokemon to be taken at all seriously. Krabby was suited to match his temperament, and so Stefan caught one. In particular, Stefan enjoys using Guillotine for dramatic effect.

Roark's Pokemon

Torch: Roark and Torch have been together since the very beginning. Having been found as an egg by Roark's father, the larvesta hatched about the same time Roark was born. Growing up, Torch was one of the only constant companions Roark had. As such, they have an extremely tight bond, with Torch also being the highest level Pokemon Roark owns. As such close companions, Torch is often found outside his pokeball in most occasions, even when it might be more convenient otherwise.

As a Pokemon, Torch is quite rash and will attack without his trainer's command. However, this is usually done only when someone insults him or harms his trainer. Every other time, Torch will follow Roark's instructions to a T. He is usually found out of his pokeball and near Roark at all times.

Elly: This little Phanpy could be said to have been the first Pokemon Roark ever caught. When he was just a youngster at the tender age of 9, Roark's father took him to the Hoenn Region Safari Zone for his birthday. There, he would try to catch, and fail to catch, nearly every single pokemon he came across. That was, until he came across a young Phanpy being attacked by a Rhyhorn that it had tackled. Throwing a safari ball, he was able to capture and save the poor Phanpy from the enraged Rhyhorn. Ever since that day, Elly has been one of if not the most loyal member of Roark's team.

Elly is extremely brave for a Pokemon, not afraid to back down to even the most powerful opponents. Of course, this is a double edged sword. While it will always allow her to stand her ground and face stronger opponents without fear, it can also lead her into getting too deep over her head. The only affection she will ever show any other living creature is to Roark, in large part thanks to him saving her life from the Rhyhorn all those years ago.

Tick: When Roark began to search for Pokemon, he first found a young Bergmite floating down the river. Now, why he was floating down a river in Hoenn is unknown, perhaps he was set adrift from the arctic and couldn't find his way home. Perhaps he used to belong to another trainer, but escaped or was released. Either way, Roark was able to capture the ice type, giving him the name Tick, and the role of the tank on his team.

Tick is an extremely quite and well mannered Pokemon. He isn't one to complain, whine, or make any general gestures whatsoever. What he is good at is taking whatever comes at him with batting an eye. His relationship with Roark is one of mutual beneficence and respect, and not much else. He could be described as quite cold.

Wilma: One day Roark was attacked by a wild Spoink. He sent out Torch who was able to weaken it enough to be captured. This Spoink became known as Wilma, and would become the team's resident status causer. Yeah, not every story about each teammate needs to be emotional or out of the ordinary, there are still regular ways to capture Pokemon.

Wilma is a very mischievous and trouble making Pokemon. She will often pull pranks and tricks on others, including her teammates. This is seen as annoying by all, except Tick, who honestly doesn't care. Do not take this as a hatred for the team, however, as she actually does like being part of it. Mainly for the free food and being able to openly 'prank' Pokemon in battles.

Yomo: On the boat ride over to Sinnoh, a fishing net became stuck in the ship's propeller. Using Tick to float in the water and get to the propeller, Roark was able to unravel the fishing net. However, it wasn't just a fishing net, a small Dragalge had gotten tangled up in the floating debri and was lucky to even be alive. Putting it into a pokeball to keep it from dying, Roark was able to bring it to the on boat Pokecenter and save its life. The shy Dragalge would become part of Roark's team, being given the name of Yomo.

Yomo is the shyest and most recent edition to the team. Not a lot is known about her personality or how she will do in battle, but she did willingly stay with Roark after she recovered. Whether this is from feelings of loyalty or for protection is yet to be seen.
