Five Shadow Feint

Just wanted to ask a question about this charm.  I can't think of any, but could someone tell me when this would be more effective to use instead of the normal dice adder charm?  As a single charm, not part of a combo.

When your opponent isn't using charms to defend, you can pump enough into this charm to effectively leave them with no dice left.  Heck, even if they ARE using charms to defed, if you put enough into this you basically give yourself a free (unopposed) attack.  Generally I find them not being able to defend as being better than me having more attack dice that could still be negated by enough successes on their roll.

As athrum said... when your opponent has little to no defense die, then your attack gets even more effective.


If combined with a die-adder, it gets really effective.

It is more effective than a normal dice adder because there is less uncertainty involved.
