Name: Raikou Kaminari

Alias(es): Lightning Beast Swordsman, Kou

Age: 18

Race: Human/Raiju

Personality: Raikou's persona, takes after his name which means lightning. He can be very high energy and mercurial even sometimes flashy. His primary color choice is black but a light is always brightest in the dark so in a way it sort of makes sense. He's fast thinking and fast acting always acting never reacting almost as if he runs completely on impulse. He tends to need someone to keep him grounded. When he devours bio electricity he tends really need to burn it off because the more he consumes the closer and closer he gets to a berserker neuro vampiric state that only ends when he burns off the excess bio electricity.

History: Raikou was born outside the supernatural beating heart of the Kingdom of Honshu; Kyoto. His father was a Raiju named Raiden who took the Kaminari as the family name when Raikou was born. His mother, Karin Abe, was an Onmyouji from the Abe Onmyouji clan in Kyoto. They met while routing a large evil youkai assault on Kyoto along with many other warriors and creatures. The rest is history as far as the story of Kou's birth goes.

Kou was raised to be a warrior by both his parents, his training started as soon as some of his Raiju traits started manifesting. His father went hard on him in training as if Raikou wasn't half human, sometimes Raikou would even forget that. At least Raikou would come out tougher for it in the end. Raikou lacked the ability to learn Onmyodo which his mother figured out early on. So she what most Onmyouji clans do for those who can't use Onmyodo, made him use a weapon. He was taught swordsmanship and his parents collaborated to forge his sword the Raikouken.

When Kou was around 16 both of his parents vanished, presumably to different endeavors. They let him know that they both had a higher calling and that eventually so would he. Raikou initially didn't have plans beyond his training. Raikou for a time served as one of the Abe clan's Onmyouji having no where else to go and lacking purpose in general.

Equipment: Raikouken

A sword forged by the power of an Onmyouji and a Raiju, the blade has an affinity towards lightning/electricity. It's also effective against dark natured beings such as demons, evil spirits, youkai, etc. The blade seems to possess the capacity to evolve as Raikou evolves.

Weaknesses:

• Water can redirect his pure electric attacks
• Metal that withstand his voltage can be used to redirect his electricity attacks
• Insulators protect against his pure electric attacks within reason
• He's only skilled in swordsmanship and can be overwhelmed if forced into any other form of combat such as hand to hand combat
• Being half youkai he is vulnerable to things that are anti dark natured such as demon slaying weapons

Personality:
Generous | Amiable | Clumsy | Sly | Obnoxious
Konnie is a persona of gratuitous possibilities, he finds no particular interest in channeling stability through steady habits and can intentionally create turmoil for himself with the goal of experiencing a moment of excitement. His trademark smile seems to be the most stationary trait for the young man as he can find general ease in being a light hearted fellow.

Despite such, he is a rather lonesome spirit, easily exhausted by interaction and thus prefering his own presence. Konnie's smile, though, is a rumored facade which cloaks a more manipulative personality beneath it with his own life being of more importance.

History:
The origin of Keegan Alous Konstantin is one of stagnant dullness when portrayed through the words of the young man himself. Often times he will tell conflicting tales that he would have preferred to have occurred to himself, an example being that his father was the singular heroic defender of their Elven plain or the tale that Konnie himself had shot out the eye of a bear which breached their woodland town with his childhood weapon of choice, a slingshot, a talent of which he had obtained from countless days of following his father on his business outings.

But Konnie was raised by no father.

The Konstantin household was ruled by the gentle guild lines of his mother, Ailen, and his withering grandfather, Gorwin. Konnie and his twin brother were insufferable, to state the least, and would explore the limits of all of which they faced. They had sword fights with their mother's wooden spoons and would dodge rocks coincidentally near the windows of their antiquated cottage.

This family thrived off the Earth's resources and were hardly allowed visits to the civilizations which neighbored their home.

Despite this, Konnie didn't discover any particular interest within the confines of his home and as he aged he would betray the moral interest of his mother and venture the woods, streets, villages, any alien location nearby. Although, his visits became less frequent when his grandfather would begin waging wars with himself as to where things were located and as to where he, himself, was located. Episodes of lost familiarity became scheduled, like a cruel theatrical performance featuring debates on questions where the answers were once known.

Then on the aging dusk of a humid spring, the glistening luminescence of recognition dissipated from Grandfather Gorwin's gaze when Konnie had confronted him with his newly transformed rifle. He had been gulping down air, it took so much energy, such an amount of concentration his brain had dared to grasp. But he'd done it. Except his success had not been in time it appeared, he was the first face to be consumed by his grandfather's ravenous subconscious and he despised the world for it.

Konnie declared his future his opponent that evening and crept towards his destination without a farewell to his family, both those who knew him and those who did not.

This was 4 years before the present, Konnie faces the dawn with trivial memory games he had conjured on his own daily and from there simply treks the path of life with only himself.

Abilities:
Magic Absorption: The creation of a (currently) 8 by 8 foot plain which absorbs the magical capabilities of those within it. Currently Keegan can only release such power through the muzzle of his gun as energy bullets.
He presently finds difficulty in retaining the power absorbed within the gun for extended periods of time and generally has to release it immediately depending on the received dosage of power.
Weapon Shifting: With minimal effort, depending on how drastic the change, Konnie can alter his weapon into a variety of choices. Although it's only effective if he has interacted with said weapon before.

Equipment:
A cylindrical piece of metal which his High Elf grandfather gifted him upon his 14th birthday, it is forged with blessed iron and is the preferred item for Konnie to adapt his Weapon Shifting ability to.
A variety of snacks within his fanny packs.
A variety of bullets within his fanny packs. (You'll be surprised how easily he mixes the two up.)
Prescription goggles due to the fact that he ironically has a terrible time seeing things in the distance.

Weaknesses:

• Little familiarity with close combat.
• Poor communication skills/Unfamiliar with group settings
• Currently can't use Magic Absorption without his customizable weapon to release power through.
• Has a soft spot for sweets.

Plans for Development:

• Become the Emperor of Anti-Magic.
• Use Magic Absorption without weapon.
• Develop Nullifying Touch (weaken or obliterate magical attack of opponent through touch/bullet.)

Other:
Konnie is a family nickname and he rarely allows others the ability to call him by it.
What food he does cook rivals the effects of poison.
