Do you like creating? Writing? Creating a character & then writing tense, interesting, or downright cruel scenarios for them?
I do, and I'm lookin' for someone who wants to do that with me.

You can call me Kingly, or just King, any/all. I'm an agender 20 year old wrapping up collage in the EST timezone, looking to get back into the text-based roleplay scene. I'm primarily looking for a (or a few) long-term RP partners who are down to get really invested in some RP, and match my energy. I have a high-ass creative drive, so I can get pretty into writing/fleshing out plotlines and characters. But I tend to only remain so excited if my partner also displays excitement/passion for what we're writing together. That being said, I don't want to be excessive/too much, so finding folks that also display that kinda energy helps curb that fear of mine.
Below is both a list of requirements/preferences, as well as plots/fandoms.
If you find yourself picking up what I'm putting down, shoot me a PM here- but bear in mind I'll respond best to people who openly show that they're into the same things as me/show that they've seen what I've wrote. I won't respond to single-sentence hit ups. If we're hitting it off well, I don't mind staying here, or continuing on discord.

I'd rather be upfront with this stuff to ensure whoever may hit me up knows what to expect. Call me picky, but this is better than us figuring out we're not compatible after a few days/messages!

Literate. I'll be writing anywhere from 3-6 paragraphs, lower or higher if the scene calls for it. Good grammar is a must, but misunderstandings/mistakes happen! I have particularly slippery fingers when typing, so excuse the typos.
19+. As mentioned above, I'm currently 20, soon to be 21, and would prefer folks close to my age. Comfort thing.
Activity. A couple reply's a week preferred (3+), but if life is getting in the way I'm chill as long as there's a heads up. I'll be doing about the same, usually replying ASAP if I'm hella into it.
Communication. If you're no longer digging a plot, characters, etc- let me know! I'd rather we both be hella into it, than just one of us just going along. I'd prefer no ghosting too, I won't take offense if you just wanna drop me- so a heads up is just nice. You can poke me if I go a full week without communicating, and I'll do the same.
Fantasy-Oriented. Sci-fi or typical fantasy- as long as a plotline has some semblance of fantastical elements in it, I'm sure to be happy. I don't tend to dig super realist-modern settings, but there's always exceptions. In addition, I do like writing action as well, and would love to be able to include it in whatever RP we make together.
OCxOC. I don't tend to be super into RPing as a CC, just doesn't do it for me- but if you love playing CCs, I don't mind as long as we talk shit out! I don't have a slew of OCs to choose from, as I prefer to make OCs catered to whatever plot/scenario we decide to do. My characters tend to vary in gender/sexuality, but I lean towards making androgenous or masc fellas. I prefer artwork as faceclaims as long as it is not AI.
Character Realism. I enjoy making really fleshed out characters, with their personalities, motives, etc, being understandable and even explainable. On top of that, I like RP that makes them change over time, whether it be them growing tense with your character, being exhausted, being happier, falling in love, etc.
Romance. I like romance, but dislike it as an A plot. Strong platonic bonds (found family type shit) are preferable, and dipping into romance after some time (and with planning!) is totally fine. If we plan a plot and characters solely around them becoming romantic, I'll only accept if it's a developed slow burn, with stages, growth, etc. If we get to that stage I'll be way more into it! If romance is being plotted out, be informed that I have a preference towards my characters romancing masc/male characters, especially if a goal is eventual smut.
Planning. I like to establish characters, their initial dynamic, and a general setting before starting. Having a plotline is dope as hell, and creating unique/interesting scenarios ahead of time to put our characters through is really enjoyable for me. I like to tackle RP more like writing a story alongside someone, with planned plot-twists, tensions, side characters, events, etc. Planning is the best way to ensure both of our characters get a chance to shine and be sick as hell. I have a penchant for angst (hurt/comfort), so be warned (or coaxed).
OOC. While I like making friends, I will probably keep my personal life out of our conversations. I am, however, always down to talk about mutual interests. Primarily, I will see our OOC chats as ways to plan out our RPs/talk about our characters.
Explicit Content. Explicit content (sexual violence, drug use, abuse themes, suicidal themes, etc) is fine under the condition of shit:
a) being handled with care and respect to the reality of these themes
b) not being overly graphic/descriptive/excessive
c) being mentioned OOC as a heads up
d) isn't dead dove level

▼ Plots & Fandoms ▼
I don't have any particularly specific plotlines/dynamics I want right out the gate. Typically, I prefer figuring out what to RP with my partner, so that we can be on the same page about what we both want out of a RP together (see: Planning in Requirements & Preferences). That being said, here's a list of things I've done/find interesting, from original content to fandoms. You can message me with a list of things you're interested in exploring, giving us a nice base to jump off right off the bat.
As I mentioned above, I will be making OCs only (see: OCxOC in Requirements & Preferences), and specifically for what we decide to do. Typically, I'll shoot out a few ideas as we're planning what we're doing, so that we can both get a grasp and decide on dynamics.

These can either be done very faithfully to the original media, or just adjacent. We could take the roles of protagonists with our OCs, or exist in the same world as the original CCs. I don't mind changing things or forgoing canon for the sake of our own fun. Most of these I know extensive lore about, and am comfortable being very canon-compliant with.
Fandoms with arrows around them are the ones I'm particularly interested in at this time (may change over time), with more arrows is more interest. This does not mean I won't be down for the other listed fandoms, just that the arrowed ones are on the mind rn.
