Hello, and welcome to my request thread!  My name's Firebrand -- or at least that's my pen name on here   Thanks for stopping by.  Let's see... I started writing oh... about 6 years ago, maybe more.  Role-playing didn't come into the picture until a year or two later.  But once I found it, I was hooked.  I loved it, and it became like an addiction to me.  There's just nothing like building a story with your partner.  A story that you control, with characters that you create.  Now here I am, 4 or 5 years later, and I still love it.  Hopefully, I'll be able to create some awesome role-plays on this site.  I can't wait to write with some of you.  ^ _ ^


I love role-plays that I can really sink my teeth into.  One's with compelling characters that develop more and more as time goes on.  I'm not that big on fandoms, but I might be interested, depending on my mood and the fandom in question.  As for original ideas, I can do almost anything under the sun.  Fantasy, Historical, Romance, and Post-Apocalyptic role-plays are my favorites.  Though I do enjoy the occasional modern RP as well.  Supernatural RPs aren't my favorite, and something I'm not currently wanting right now, however I have enjoyed them in the past.  Werewolves are the exception with this though.  I love werewolves   I don't know why,  I also love RPs with dark, edgy themes, and enjoy the occasional heated moment.  Who doesn't?


I prefer to play female characters, though I am not opposed to doubling up and playing a male character as well.  Just know that if we do double up, my posts may be a bit shorter. 


I'm only looking for heterosexual pairings (MxF) at this moment, though that may change as I get used to the site.  We shall see.

Requirements/Standards

While I'm not a picky person in the list bit, I do have some requirements and limits, just like everyone.  They are as follows:

• Be able to post at LEAST once a week.  While I understand we all have lives, I feel like that's a reasonable amount of time.  That way, we can keep the RP moving at a reasonable pace, and not have it fade out.  If something happens and you can't post, just shoot me a quick PM and let me know.  I'll understand   And I'll do the same with you.  I don't bite, promise : P
  
• Be descriptive and literate in your posts.  I LOVE detail.  I want to be able to envision the scene in my head, to see it play out.  I believe myself to be a literate writer, and therefore want a partner who can do the same.  I know we're all imperfect -- believe me, haha.  I've made more typos than I care to admit, and occasionally I look back and think, "why did I write that?"  We're all learning.  Still, there should be a certain level of experience and effort here I think.
  
• Be able to post at least 1 PARAGRAPH in the RP.  Quality over quantity, yes.  I know post length depends on the amount of time and energy you have, as well as the current scene in the RP.  However, I feel this is a reasonable expectation.  I need something to reply to, after all, and expect some effort on your part, since I will be doing my best as well.
  
• Have good grammar and pronunciation.  I understand the occasional typo and mistake.  I'm guilty of it myself... Very guilty.  Haha.  But I need to understand what you're saying, and what's going on in the role-play.  If I can't do that, then we've got a big problem there.
  
• No Mary Sues/Gary Stus.  There's no such thing as the perfect character.  We're all imperfect, we all have flaws.  It's just unrealistic if our characters don't then too, right?  And in my opinion, it's the flaws in our characters that make them so loveable.  So please, please, for my sanity... Don't try and make a flawless, "perfect" character, okay?
  

I promise I'm not as uptight as I seem... haha.  I just want to have a good time here, create some awesome RPs, and make new friends    Hopefully this hasn't scared you away yet.. : P

Pairings

Woohoo!  Now on to the fun part!  Here's a lit of some of the pairings that interest me, but not all.  I like a lot of things. 


The role I'd like to play will be in bold, and if I don't have a preference, it will be left as is.  If it's something I'm really craving, there will be a little ♥ next to it.  If I have an idea for a plot with a certain pairing, it will be in the parenthesis next to it.

Basically anything with modern fantasy would be awesome.  And dragons.  I like dragons.


I'd also be interested in doing something using a disabled character I created, since those are rarely done it seems.  And some type of Medieval or Historical role-play would be great too, though I don't have any current ideas for this.

Plot Ideas

Here I will list my plot ideas Some will be based off of a few of the pairings above, and others won't, since there was no way for me to categorize them in the parings section.  These ideas aren't set in stone though.  I'd love to hear YOUR ideas too, and collaborate with you on them

Under The Moon

Pairing:  Alpha Werewolf x Werewolf from other pack
​

In a small town on the edge of a large forest, there live two rival packs, who were constantly at each others throats.  They battled for food, territory, power... you name it.  They hated each other, and soon the fighting got so bad, werewolves were falling in battle, never to rise again.  So, by a verbal agreement and treaty between the two Alpha's, a territory line was made to keep the peace between the two territorial packs.  Were it not for that, they would have kept at their violent tendancies until both packs were destroied.  They still couldn't stand each other, and occasionally a fight will break out between members of opposing sides.  Especially if one crosses the territory line.  You could get yourself killed doing that.  Still, it was better than before, and neither Pack was willing to up and leave the perfect little town they had stumbled upon.  A town secluded and surrounded by a forest, teeming with different types of animals to hunt.


MC is a member of one of the pack, and YC is the Alpha of the other.  One day, during a full moon, the two meet by accident.  MC was chasing a deer through the underbrush of the forest, seconds away from catching it and not even noticing she had crossed the territory line, when YC shows up, intent on driving her back or taking her down.  Whichever came first.  However, as it turns out, the two end up imprinting on each other.  Something that happens with werewolves; with the one destined to be your eternal mate.
