What's good bro? Real glad you came over here to check this character sheet out.


Now I'm gonna be real honest with you. You have quite a bit of reading ahead of you before we get to the actual sheet. But if you don't like reading, one must ask themselves why they signed up for an RP site.



The following information is here to help you create a character for this world we've made.



We're going to cover some roles that SHOULD be filled, but I won't force you to fill any of them. It'd be so cool if you did though.



Then we're going to go over available weapon disciplines and all possible weapons you can wield.



After that, we're going to get into classes, which will ultimately determine what role your character plays in battle.



Lastly, we'll do a character sheet, and I'll explain what you need to tell us in order to participate.



For those of you who have never played Fire Emblem, I tried to make this guide as comprehensible as possible, and you
should be able to create a character with ease, but if you have any questions, DON'T HESITATE TO ASK. You're just as welcome to play as anyone else :)

ROLES & FACTIONS TO FILL




So, as you know from the plot, this RP focuses around a group assembled by the rulers of Neth to discuss a peace treaty with Satrella. It would be just peachy if they were filled out by your character/characters. If you wish to acquire a role, fill out the required space on your character profile under the "class" section which role you would like to take on. First come, first serve, but make sure elements of this role are incorporated into your sheet, otherwise you won't get the part.

I'll be updating factions as they appear in the story, and some roles will appear when new factions do, so stay tuned!

A "*" represents a character that MUST BE FILLED AT ALL TIMES. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THOSE ROLES IF YOU CAN'T BE ACTIVE.

ROLES

AT THIS POINT IN TIME ALL NEW CHARACTERS MUST COME FROM SATRELLA.




Wyndan Resistance Bros: To go along with our new Lord we could use some more characters in the Wyndan resistance, so come one, and come all.

FACTIONS


*Your character doesn't have to start out as a member of any faction, but at some point, they will be.





Assembly of Neth: A special task force organized by the leaders of Neth, comprised of the former prisoners of Satrella, Hayden and her assistants, and royalty from each nation. Your character belongs here if A. They are from Neth.


Resistance of Wynda: This faction is actually a bit more abstract, as rebels are everywhere in Wynda, but it's hard for them to make contact with each other. It's even harder for them to trust one another. Basically, your character belongs to this faction if they are A: In Wynda and B: Fighting against Taros.


Ifrinic Tribal Resistance: This faction is comprised of the scattered remains of tribes that resisted Taros and other Ifrinic tribes that sided with Taros. This faction is just as shaky as the Resistance of Wynda, if not more so. There is a lot of bad blood between the tribes but they're making an attempt to unify against the warlords who have sided with Taros. You character belongs in this faction if they are A: Ifrinic and not cool with the alliance with Taros B: Are a member of a tribe that resisted against Taros.


Tarosian-Ifrinic Alliance: This faction is an enemy faction. They're fighting for control of the entire continent of Satrella so that an invasion can be launched against Neth. They have a fuckton of soldiers, and a fuckton of Gold, and have made a ton of progress in Wynda, but less in Aquano. In Fire Emblem, it's possible to speak to an enemy character and get them to defect to your side, so you can totally have a character that starts here but later joins the main cast. Or maybe, you just want to play an all out baddie > :) . Your character belongs in this faction if A. They're a member of the Tarosian military B. They're a member of a tribe lead by an Infrinic warlord that allied with Taros, which was most of them, or even C. Your character is a member of a mercenary troop hired by Taros.


Aquani Army: Unlike Wynda, Aquano's government hasn't been toppled by the war. Their army is still standing strong and defending their land, but who knows how long that will last? Your character belongs here if they are, (OBVI) A. A character of the Aquani military outfit.




ALL THE CLASSES, MAN




(music)You can be me when you look this clean~(music)....sorry. Ok so here's how classes are going to work. I'm going to list all possible classes, and that will be that. There's a very small chance that I'll be editing them afterward. I've taken inspiration from a lot of the games and added as much variety as possible. Class promotions will occur when it's reasonable, as in, you're not promoting after your first fight bro.


Every character must start as either a non-promoted class or a NOOB class (Squire, Villager, Thug, Hunter, Recruit)



You can tell you're pocking a non-promoted class if the description of that class explains what a unit can promote to.



Now as I mentioned in the rules, this RP doesn't have stats. We're going off the honor system here, okay folks? Alright, good shit good shit. So when I list these classes, use them as a guideline for creating your character. After all, how a person fights says a lot about their personal background. Think of it this way...what skills do you want your character to have? What weaknesses? The class tree makes it easy to determine these attributes. Plus, who doesn't love a good class system? There's a lot of classes here that are straight outta my brain so have fun!



But first to understand the classes, I need to list all possible weapons. Weapons range from E-A rank. Most A ranked weapons will be considered legendary. When you apply, the highest weapon rank your character can have is E-C but don't worry. Use that particular weapon enough, and you can roll through the ranks. You don't have to kill anyone with it, you don't even have to hit anyone with it, you just have to try! If you're playing a noob character, that character must use an E-Rank weapon. Eventually your weapon should break, but Imma leave that up to you bud. Magic is channeled through the use of tomes, special magic books. Even those can break LMFAO. For immersion purposes, lets just say the energy be channeled from tomes and staves is limited.



Before we get into this lets set the record straight. Killing Weapons will land a critical hit more often than others. When I say "critical hit" in this RP, what I mean is these weapons are more likely to kill someone in one blow OR mortally wound someone.



Brave weapons are lighter, so you can swing them faster and possibly land more hits on your opponent.



Bows
must be used from a distance, not at close range, and they are always effective against Flying Units and Bird Laguz, and pretty much anything with wings. Magic and Dragonstones can be used in close range and from a distance. All other weapons must be used in close range, unless specified.


Apothecaries and Blacksmiths can imbue weapons with status effects for ONE use. At this point the weapon will use the appropriate prefix such as "Poison Bronze Sword" or "Sleeping Brave Axe". These can only happen to physical weapons, not magic. Some staves are capable of inducing these status effects.



I have some codewords listed below for special weapons, and I'm just going to describe staves when we get there. (I can't wait to see someone get sleep staffed and just knock the fuck out lol)



If I say "Armor" that means this weapon is highly effective against heavily armored dudes: Knights, Generals, Battle Mages, and Great Knights.



If I say "Dragon" that means the weapon is effective against Manaketes and also Wyvern Knights, Wyvern Lords, and Revenant Knights.



If I say "Beast" that means the weapon is effective against Laguz, and anyone who rides a horse, pegasus, or gryphon.



If I say "Crit" that means that this weapon has a 30% chance of rolling a crit.



If I say "Brave" that means this weapon allows for faster attacks.



If I say "Range" that means this weapon can be used from a distance.



If I say "Extra Range" that means this weapon can be used from an even further distance at the cost of power.



If I say "Long Range" that means this weapon can be used from very far away.



If I say "Magic" that means the weapon is a physical weapon that can also cast a magical spell.



If I say "Air" that means this weapon is effective against The Flying Branch and Bird Laguz.



If I say "Sap" this means the user can drain the HP of an enemy to recover their own with this weapon.



If I say "Horse" this means that the weapon is effective against any unit on Horseback.



If I say "Buster" this means that this weapon reverses the weapon triangle, which if you don't remember is

(So a Lancereaver beats a Lance but is now weak to Axes.)





If I say "Holy" this means that this weapon is very effective against monsters. I don't know why this is written tinier but I'm not fixin' it.

ITEMS






There aren't too many, but these are the items your character can possibly possess. The number of uses signifies how many times the item can be used until it's broken or out of juice.





Torch: A handy little thing to have when it's really dark, or foggy, to increase visibility. 5 uses.


Door Key: Can open a door. 1 use.


Chest Key: Can open a chest. 1 use.


Lockpick: Thief Branch can use these on doors and chests. 15 uses.


Master Key: Can open either a door or a chest. 1 use. YOUR CHARACTER CAN NOT START WITH THIS ITEM.


Vulnerary: Heals just a little bit. 3 uses.


Elixer: Heals all the way. 3 uses.


Antitoxin: Heals poison, and poison only. 3 uses.


Pure Water: Makes a unit more resistant (not invulnerable) to magic. 3 uses.


Poison Toxin: Apply to weapons, land a hit afterward and your enemy is poisoned. Won't wear off until cured. 3 uses.


Sleep Toxin: Apply to weapons, land a hit, enemy falls asleep. Wears off in maybe 20 or 30 minutes. 3 uses.


Berserk Toxin: Apply to weapons, land a hit, enemy attacks whoever is close by. Wears off in maybe 20-30 minutes. 3 uses.


Silence Toxin: Apply to weapons, land a hit, enemy can't use magic. Wears off in an hour. 3 uses.


Fear Toxin: Apply to weapons, land a hit, enemy turns tale and runs. Wears off in ten minutes. 3 uses.


Love Toxin: Apply to weapons, land a hit, enemy won't attack at all. Wears off in 10 minutes. 3 uses.


Delphi Shield: A special item that protects Fliers from arrows. YOUR CHARACTER CANNOT START WITH THIS ITEM.


Member Card: Required in order to enter a...shall we say...special shop. YOUR CHARACTER CANNOT START WITH THIS ITEM.


Silver Card: You can get half off of items with this shit. YOUR CHARACTER CANNOT START WITH THIS ITEM.


Mine: Can be placed on the ground. Blows up when stepped on. Can carry 3 at once (3 uses)


Smoke Bomb: Allows the user to escape a conflict. Can carry 6 at once. (6 uses)


Bomb: Can be thrown to inflict damage on multiple enemies...and friends. Can carry 6 at once (6 uses)


Fireworks: Can be fired from long distance to explode on motherfuckers in a colorful display of awesome. (1 use)


Hilarity Bomb: Causes the target to fall over in a fit of laughter, rendering them unable to attack. Can carry 6 at once (6 uses)

Ok, so there's your available classes. Now, lets get to the rules on character posting.

That about covers all the information anyone could ask for from a character profile, I think. Now lets go through some guidelines for each of these fields and then we should be able to wrap this baby up.



Name: I'm counting on you to not be a fool about this. First name, last name if you want. Last names aren't a big thing in Fire Emblem so I don't really give a shiznit. List all nicknames in quotes. So an example- Ulysses S. "The Motherfucker" Grant.


Race: Ok so here's the deal. There are three playable races: Human, Laguz, and Manakete. Here are the sub-races of Laguz. Lion, Cat, Tiger, Wolf, Taguel (Rabbit), Fox, Jaguar, Panther, Bear, Heron, Hawk, Raven, Parrot/Tropical Bird or whatever. That's it until I say more. I added Bear, Tropical Bird, Panther, and Jaguar for the setting of Satrella, the rest of these have all been featured in a Fire Emblem game at some point. There will be no Dragon Laguz, instead there will be Manaketes. Manaketes can live for 1000's of years and still look very young. They can transform in dragons, whose appearance you have creative control over, as they tend to be a bit more malleable according to the series. Laguz and Manakete are both a class, and a race.


Age: Again, I'm counting on you to not be a fool about this. How old are they, dude?


Sex: I do mean sex. I do not mean gender. For those of you who don't know the difference, your sex is what you biologically are, male, or female. Your gender is a matter of identity. Any information about your character's gender identity and sexuality can also be included here, but these are also things that can be revealed during the RP. If your character is sexually ambiguous, don't answer this section with "Unknown" that's just lazy. While your characters sex may be unknown to others around them you need to know what it is.


Country of Origin: Aquano, Taros, Wynda, or Ifrin? WE ARE CURRENTLY NOT ACCEPTING CHARACTERS FROM NETH.


Appearance/Physical Description: You can put a picture, preferably anime cause that's what I'm used to and that's the style Fire Emblem is drawn in, but if your character looks exactly like Robert Downey Junior I'm not really trippin'. If no picture on the internet will suffice, you can totally write a description. You don't have to put a fuckton of detail here because I'm sure details about your characters appearance will be written during the RP.


Class: So here's how this is gonna work. I noted a few classes to be noob classes: Squires, Recruits, Pupils, Thugs, Hunters, and Villagers this means that the character is very weak, but has the potential to be really strong if they don't die. These characters are typically very young, think like 12 to 15. However, your character doesn't have to start there. You just can't start as a promotion unit unless you're applying for a role that requires one. So for instance, you can apply as a Mercenary, but you can't apply as a Hero. As mentioned, promotions will occur after characters have been through a few fights. Also, try to look at what other characters exist in the "Lore" page and pick a class that someone else doesn't already have, that way we don't end up with 8 shamans and no monks, you know? WE DON'T NEED ANY MORE MYRMIDONS, THIEVES, PEGASUS KNIGHTS, CAVALIERS, OR MERCENARIES.


Inventory: List the weapon and items your character is carrying when we meet them. Vulneraries and Elixers, Anti-Toxins, etc etc. For your weapon, your character can start out with either an E-rank weapon, a D-rank weapon, or a C-Rank weapon. (NOOB CLASSES MUST START OUT WITH AN E-RANK WEAPON) So you can have an Iron Sword or an Arcfire, you may not have a Silver Sword or a Valflame. There is an inventory limit of five items. As your character gains or loses items make sure you update this section.


Personality: I want some stuff here, but you don't have to be super detailed, as aspects of your character's personality will be revealed during the RP. Just give us a nice little overview, like five sentences.


History: This has to be pretty extensive. You don't have to write a book but you do need a solid history. Do not put "Unknown" or "It's a mystery." Sure, your character can be aloof and mysterious, but you the writer still know their past. This also goes for characters with amnesia. Yes, your own character may not remember their past or background, but you do.


Other: Any fun facts or maybe I missed a field. Whatever you feel that is pertinent information that is not already covered in the other fields. Type "The Waffles are coming...and I'm scared," here when you post so that I know you've read these guidelines.

Hayden loves adventure. She's obsessed with exploring places that she's never been and has an almost compulsive nature to examine every little thing about her surroundings. She thrusts herself into dangerous situations with little regard to personal safety, but she cares deeply for her allies. Her thrill seeking often lands her in trouble. She tends to ramble quite a bit, and enjoys getting to know her allies. Boredom is her worst enemy, and she's quick to grow stir crazy during trips overseas. She hates loss of any kind and becomes frustrated when expeditions aren't operating smoothly. She sees most things as a game, and is very playful and resourceful. She values both strength and intellect. She loves to collect "rare artifacts" and can be found picking up objects when diving into caves, most of which are worthless or cursed. Most.


History:
Hayden was born to parents who were also adventurers. She grew up with her grandmother, and on the rare occasions that she saw her parents, she would listen to their tales of faraway places with great enthusiasm. She wished to be just like them, and upon reaching the age of five, she began to explore the local woods of Herranow. She would spend hours in the woods, and later entire days. During this time, she learned to live off of the land and make vulneraries out of herbs. When she reached her teens, her parents went on an expedition and never returned. Her grandmother also died later that year, so she joined a traveling crew of mercenaries. She mostly tended to weapons, made sure everyone was equipped properly, and managed their gold. The mercenaries in her troupe taught her various forms of combat, and she soon became quite capable herself. She volunteered to join the small fleet traveling deep into the sea in search of other lands, and was a member of the only surviving ship to have visited Satrella. She returned along with her companions (insert Maid and Butler here) and was chosen by the leaders of Neth to spearhead the mission back to the foreign land. As you can imagine, she took the job with glee.


Other:
Just a little note from the author. This story is essentially a fan game that I'll probably never make, so I added the concept of a MyUnit. Hayden is essentially a MyUnit character, hence the unisex name. Her personality is based off of what your average gamer enjoys doing while playing video games, exploring, fighting, collecting, etc etc.

Evangeline is not the most social person because of her dark nature She's very blunt and very calculating, she is like "the calm before the storm," as she may remain silent until spotting a weakness in those she considers her enemies, and once she does, she will expose it without mercy. Her mind is not one to be challenged without caution. She is a no nonsense kind of girl and you don't want to cross her path ever.


History:
Born to parents unknown and raised by a long deceased grandmother, Evangeline was trained in the dark arts from a very young age and it would shape her to the woman she is today. She was constantly practicing magic, never having time to live a normal life. She would only go outside to train her to survive off the land should she ever find herself in a home stealing predicament. She would live with her grandmother until she was 17 where her grandmother would die and she would inherit the house. She would remain here living a rather secluded life until one day she simply lost it and decided to travel the world as a nomad. She has been in many places and usually never more than once.

Personality:
A silent young woman who only does thing on her own accord. She doesn't much of a personality due to her inability to keep or even make friends. She's very serious about what she does, whether it be stealing or killing, she does it without hesitation and without a second thought. She's deadly intelligent despite her age, baffling even the wisest of people such as master tacticians.


History:
An orphaned young girl, Sakura grew up stealing and doing nothing more than that until she was 7 where she was taken in by a young Shaman and young thief. The thief taught Sakura everything she could about being a thief and even an assassin, improving the skills she already had. The shaman taught Sakura DARK magic which took quite sometime as the girl's magic abilities seemed to suppress themselves, awakening when she turned 15. One day, their home was raided when she wasn't there and her 'adoptive parents' were killed. Sakura had no choice but to flee and she fled to places unknown and she was found by a small group of mercenaries; treating the girl like a daughter of sorts. When Sakura turned 17, she left the group to travel abroad and it was during her travels did she decide she wanted to do the impossible. Assassinate royalty. Why she wanted to do this, is unknown, even to her but she wants to do it. It was this desire that led her Issac.

Isaac is a large, stocky male of 6'5" with shoulders like pauldrons and legs like tree trunks. He dresses in a cloak and clean gear fit for a more subtle bard. Especially noticeable are his green headband and emerald green eyes which stand out against his otherwise modest appearance. He has a strong jaw and nose, as well as two eyes permanently set into a concentrated scowl. He gives off an aura of command, only fitting for a man of his natural charisma and ambition.

Personality:


Isaac comes across as extremely forceful in personality at a cursory glance. Really, he is extremely confident and decisive, owing in a large part to the experience he has making life-or-death decisions for other people. Isaac is an extremely competent commander but tends to lose sight of things that aren't right in front of him. His disagreement with the ruling methods of Wynda's elite as well as his distaste for the knight's version of rebellion puts him at odds with common morality. Some would call him cold-hearted, but Isaac is simply too committed to the cause of his countrymen's "true freedom" to let small philosophical issues get in the way. He is fairly flexible in how he thinks but can quickly become frustrated with having to step down from his ideal scenario. More than anything, Isaac has trouble mistaking commitment for stubbornness and requires a solid voice of reason to keep him from becoming something much worse than just a rebel.



History:


Having grown up near his country's border, Isaac is more than familiar with the dangers of Taros and Ifrin. In fact, his small town has faced more raids from the mauraders in the mountains and on the coast than almost any other section of the country. The locals refer to it as "Hell's Maw," a monicker that has only slightly lost its edge with the increased military presence in the area. Thanks to this, Isaac has grown up commanding groups of guerrilla fighters to go against the merciless raiding forces. His tactics were only as good as any man without formal training could be, but he found his true strength in inspiring command. With a bow in hand, he was able to survey the field and rile his comrades to victory. In no time at all, Isaac D'Garde became an expert in getting that last push needed at the critical moment.


Once he had grown from a teen to a man, Isaac began to take more of an interest in history and politics. He read philosophy written by the people of Wynda and the books of war from Taros. He became an idealist, and by the age of thirty had grown into a political powerhouse in the battered settlement. His voice quickly turned to denouncing the weak arm of the military that held his region as well as the greed of the invaders. His words had the unfortunate effect of being genuinely stirring, and this quickly earned the wrath of the Wynda military. Without direct order from the council, they struck out against the rebelling villagers. With training caused by constant hardship, the people of the town survived and quickly fell into disfavor with the country's officials. It was around this time that explorers arrived on the continent.



With representatives called from all over, Isaac began planning a way to topple his enemies all at once. He was going to infiltrate the peace talks as a bard and use this as an opportunity to assassinate the representatives of Taros and the Invaders that had further riled up the already agitated knights of Wynda. He was going to strike at their heart and send a message to their leaders, a warning against them. He hopes now to inspire his people to take up arms against these would-be conquerors, to find their strength where the knights simply could not. What lies in store is far, far beyond what even he could plan for.



Other: Isaac's "Rousing Command" ability drives units forth by causing their next attack or counter attack to have greater effect. In this case, it is represented as simple inspiration and advice that will be relevant to the story. He can play instruments fairly well and tell stories, but the only extraordinary ability that Isaac possesses is related to his ability to speak.

Personality:
Tridan is used to doing whatever he wants. He's a free spirit and can occasionally come off as irresponsible. His potential as a capable fighter and leader is countered by his laziness. Sleep is his favorite activity. He's a lover of practical jokes and teasing others. The blue haired boy can be charming, but tends to behave inappropriately at official meetings. He can be a bit of a pouty brat at times, an issue common among children of royal stature. He can be pompous and arrogant at times, and often overestimates his combat potential. He doesn't take well to embarrassment and can often become sulky and moody upon making a fool of himself. Despite his flaws he has genuinely kind heart. He's loyal to all that he calls a friend, and has a strong sense of justice. If there's anything that drives him, it's to protect those who can't protect themselves. He has a piss-poor relationship with his father, and can be very insecure about his prowess as a leader.


History: Tridan is the younger of two siblings. His mother died giving birth to him, and to this day the boy blames himself. His older sister, Trista, was the heir to the throne. As such, their father Tristan tended to ignore the younger boy. The king spent most of his time grooming his daughter to prepare her for the role of Queen of Herranow when he passes. Tridan was left to his own devices, and spent a majority of his childhood being coddled by servants. He began to take up both swordplay and archery at age 12, but his practicing habits were less than spectacular. He grew up to hold much disdain and animosity toward his father, and spent most of his time as a teen outside of the castle in the capital, attempting to romance the young women of the city. When he became a local troublemaker, he finally earned his father's attention, but in the worst way. Despite being jealous of the time that Trista spent with his father, he loved his sister dearly and often confided in her. The girl was kind, generous, and selfless, and she raised Tridan more than his own father did. It wasn't so much that he wanted the role of leadership, just the acknowledgment from the king would have been enough. Unfortunately, Trista grew ill with a disease that was resilient to both healing staves and herbal medicine. She died last year. Both Tridan and King Tristan were overcome with grief. The mantle of heir was passed down to Tridan, much to his and his father's displeasure. King Tristan had to force Tridan to join the assembly of Neth, believing that the expedition would be a great crash course on how to be a strong king. The boy is now the royal representative of Herranow.


Other:
I wanted to take a different approach to a Lord. Most of them Like Chrom, Ike, Eliwood, Roy, and Marth are really samey, so I wanted to go in kind of an asshole direction with this guy. The reoccurring theme of "Tri" in all of the names of his family is a reference to the number 3, as Herranow is the 3rd nation of Neth, and contains aspects of both Palenia and Fuccino.

Personality:


Alecks gives off a kind, generous, level-headed and friendly vibe. He has shown himself to be a bit arrogant, as well. He displays a great displeasure of killing, unless provoked. Overall, he displays great comradeship and great promise of being a skilled fighter, albeit somewhat flirty. His affection spreads even to his enemies, giving him a liability. He is capable of great rage when provoked by his enemies, making him a formidable opponent.


When acting under his alias, hope becomes ruthless to anyone he believes is guilty of wrongdoing. He is much less talkative, and does away with most pleasantries, to deter suspicion off of himself.


History:


Alecks was born the Vicar of Palenia. That was the story he was told, at least. Unbeknownst to him and his sister, their mother actually conceived a child with a manakete of the mage dragon tribe, a clan of dragons immune to the effects of magic, and incapable of using that same power, themselves. This child was Alecks, and no one ever revealed this secret, as doing so would ruin the Pontifex's reputation on multiple levels.


Despite the distance between Alecks and his 'father', he grew up happily with his older sibling, Viven, and next in line for the title of Pontifex. The two were close, with Alecks admiring Viven, and wanting to grow up to be like her.


When it came time for their training, however, Alecks learned that he wouldn't be like her. He lacked the magical talent that most others in their nation/kingdom possessed(as a result of his manakete heritage). No matter how much training he put in, Alecks could never manage a single spell. As his sadness grew, so did his anger. He grew distant and envious of his sister, to the point he began to avoid Viven completely. Alecks hired a sell sword, taking up swordplay in secret, and finding that he had a talent for it.


One day, Alecks decided that there was no place for him left in Palenia, and made off on his own at the age of 15. Within months, he was living in Fuccino, a place much more to his tastes. He kept anonymous, using the funds he absconded with to live a comfortable life.


However, it didn't take long for Alecks to see the corruption that Fuccino was plagued with. After a particular instance pushed him over the edge, he decided someone needed to deal with the problem, and as such, he created a persona for himself, that of a man fighting for the people, and enacting justice on those who wronged them. This vigilante remained nameless for a time, until the people began to see him for what he was meant to be...a symbol of hope...


After hearing that his sibling would be joining an expedition into a new land, Alecks joined the lord of Fuccino and his group on their trip to Herranow.


(@Lupedeumbras, yeah this is totally happening. Hope will be travelling with your party to Herannow. So, y'know. Don't kill him of anything xD ))


Other:


When acting under the Hope alias, he wears a mask and all black clothing in order to conceal his features.


Alecks has a brand on his left shoulder. Most of the adults around him, including the Pontifex himself, refused to acknowledge it in his youth, and he has yet to discover its meaning.

Personality: A stern, dedicated and fierce woman, the calm before the storm. Irisviel will do anything and everything to protect Lord Tridan. She is compassionate and kind to many yet merciless when it comes to her enemies. She counters Tridan's free-spirited attitude and often times considers herself his babysitter due to his slack off and irresponsible behavior. Irisviel is a bit of a worrywart when it comes to Tridan and more importantly the king who has his own set of bodyguards. She doesn't believe in things like fate, often stating that there a complex network of interrelated forces beyond anyone's control and nothing is preordained, everyone has the power to change their so called "fate."


History: Born to a former knight of a father and a wyvern rider of a mother, Irisviel was trained to be the best that she could be. This constant, wanting her to be the best for them, took away Irisviel's sense of self, she didn't have her own life and was living to be great like her mother and father who would both die of the same illness when she was 9. She was taken in by her grandparents who paid her no mind, simply ignoring her despite having taken her in. Without her parents, Irisviel didn't know what to do and thus, she would wander about since her grandparents didn't care. One day as she was wandering, she was attacked by a group of thieves and she was fending them off for a short time until they managed to disarm her. Before the thieves could really hurt her, she was saved by a knight. Irisviel admired the bravery of the knight it was at the moment she knew she wanted to be a knight on her own volition. She would secretly train with this knight everyday until she became a squire at the age of 13. Because of her hard work and dedication, Irisviel rose through the ranks really quickly, shocking most people. It was because of this dedication, that the King had assigned her to be Tridan's bodyguard by the time she was 18 and has been so ever since. When Tridan joined the Assembly of Neth, Irisviel was right behind him, ready to protect him on this diplomatic mission.

Personality: In one word, Troublemaker. He grew up in a small, nomadic Ifrinic tribe and was always a little prankster. After the Tarosian armies came in and wiped out any resistance, he was left alone and his personality changed to a more somber one. He is very cautious and never sits down. If he can't quickly reach his bow, he feels very uneasy and will pace back and forth subconsciously. He doesn't trust anyone easily, but he does have a soft spot for animals. His tribe kept many pets and he learned to care for and train them. Although he is very good with animals, he hasn't learned how to summon them yet like the Beastmasters of his tribe. That is his main goal, however, and he will do anything to help out animals in need, even if it may cost him his life. Despite his somber attitude, he still loves a good prank and enjoys crude humor.



History: As mentioned before, Kai grew up in a nomadic tribe in Ifrin. They traveled the deserts of southern Ifrin, following the migration patterns of various hoofed herbivores. The tribe resisted the Tarosian army when it invaded and was completely slaughtered. Kai, at the age of 16, fled to a nearby oasis village and hid for weeks until he felt it was safe. With nothing but his tattered clothes and bow, he headed out into the desert, moving from oasis to oasis, becoming a master archer. Again, he began pursuing the title of Beastmaster and his love of animals drove him into a conflict with some Tarosian soldiers. A few hundred miles from a port town in western Ifrin, Kai encountered a small caravan pulling a cage. Inside the cage were a black panther and a hawk. Both were very agitated and trying to escape, the panther clawing and biting at the bars. There were only 4 guards wearing only desert cloaks. Easy. Kai slid down the dune, bow in hand and rolled into a kneeling position. He already had an arrow knocked, and fired it off, catching one guard in the jugular. He dropped and the other three turned to find the assailant, weapons drawn. They were soon dispatched and Kai walked up, finding a key on one of their corpses. He unlocked the cage, and the panther leapt out, nearly mauling him. It turned, snarling, and Kai knelt slowly, laying down his bow in the sand. He slowly pulled out a piece of raw meat from a pouch, making sure the Panther could easily see each movement. He tossed it over and it was gone within seconds. The two animals in the cage calmed a bit and shifted, two Laguz teens standing in their place. In the place of the Panther was a short, dark skinned girl with feral eyes. Beside her, a boy. He explained that they were from the Westernmost isle of Aquano and that they had been captured by Taros slavers. Kai asked why the Panther girl didn't speak and her brother explained that she never learned how to speak. Although all nations spoke English, she refused to speak and only communicated in various growls and snarls, even in human form. Over the next three years, the trio traveled together and Kai was able to use his animal soothing skills to tame the beast inside of the Panther girl. He gave her the name Noir and was able to teach her broken English. We find ourselves in present day Taros at a large port city on the southeastern peninsula. Kai is posing as an Ifrini warlord with his two Laguz slaves.



Other: Kai is pursuing the path of a Beastmaster. When he becomes one with nature, he will harness the heat of the desert sun and learn how to use Fire Tome. His main animal companion that he will summon will be a black-furred jackal. Also, I hope this is a good way to have Kai teach Noir English without muddling up the world with other languages. When Kai becomes a Beastmaster, he will coin the nickname "Desert Phoenix". His voice is Gajeel (English voice actor) from Fairy Tail.

Personality: Due to her enslavement, she has a strong hatred of humans, with the exception of Kai. She is very quiet due to growing up without speaking. The only people she will openly speak to are Kai and her brother/sister. She feels very vulnerable in human form and often times, she will switch into Panther form when in public, acting more as a pet than a slave. She has grown very fond of Kai, but due to his isolated nature, she does not know how he feels. She's scared to admit it to him, but she does little things, hoping he catches on and makes the first move.



History: Noir grew up on the westernmost isle of Aquano under the shadow of a large volcano. She was isolated from the village because of her feral nature and once she was able to fend for herself, she was exiled into the jungle. She spent most of her time in her beast form, fearing the vulnerability of her human form. When she was exiled, her brother followed her and they helped each other out, living off of the jungle and the sea. Eventually, they made home on a secluded beach at the edge of the jungle. Her sibling would catch fish and other sea creatures for them to eat and she grew quite fond of fish, making it the main part of her diet. Taros soldiers began invading Aquanos and the westernmost isle was the first to feel their wrath. Noir and her sibling saw smoke and smelled burning leaves. They heard a soft crackling and then a horde of Laguz came screaming out of the jungle. They spoke of human soldiers wreaking havoc on the villages, burning the jungles, and slaughtering any who resisted. The soldiers eventually caught up to the Laguz on the secluded beach and captured Noir and her sibling along with a few dozen others. The next year of Noir's life was spent in chains, the first month spent traveling across the island to the Taros ships on the northern shores. This was followed by many months at sea and a few more in a southern Taros city. A wealthy Ifrinic warlord sent a slave scout who bought Noir and her sibling. They traveled to a southern port city in Ifrin before heading north. It was about a week's ride out of the city before the guards outside randomly dropped like flies, arrows in their throats. Nervous, Noir sprang out of the cage as soon as the door was opened, paying no mind to the man who had rescued her. She sensed his presence and turned, ready for a fight. She was ready to pounce, but paused as the man laid his weapon down. In the next instant, he was throwing her a piece of meat, which she scarfed down quickly. Her sibling and her shifted back to human form, the man and her sibling conversing. She understood very little of what was said. Due to her spending most of her time as a Panther, she never learned how to speak as well as her sibling. Her brother and her became the traveling companions of this fiery man with the bow, Kai, and over time, she grew close to him. He taught her how to read and write and she found herself spending more time in human for when she was around him. They eventually holed up in a port city on the southwestern peninsula of Taros and she did her best to adapt to so many people. When they left their little abode near the harbor, she would usually shift into her Panther form, wishing not to speak to anyone but Kai and her brother.



Other: Her voice is just a basic Carribbean/Creole voice... Think of the Calypso chick from Pirates of the Carribbean mixed with a little bit of that broken English vibe.

Baste is fairly similar in appearance to Malakai, which works to his advantage a good deal of the time. Though they have dissimilar facial features, the red hair and eyes help to make them a more natural travelling pair. He has a fairly slight build with notably powerful legs and a stance that leaves his nose raised in defiance. During slavery his wings were battered and painfully restrained, leaving him largely incapable of flight for extended periods of time.

Personality:


Baste is extremely proud, maybe more so than a former slave should be. He refuses to work on the terms of any human, though Kai is an occasional exception to this rule. Even with no blood relatives, he holds Noir very dear to his heart and behaves as something of a barrier between her and those that would hurt her. He has a tendency to cause trouble if she would otherwise come under fire, a fact that has been seen frequently while the two were briefly enslaved. Baste loves his people and his nation more than anything else, so much so that while Noir learned Beorc writing and spoken word he simply refused to speak in anything but their native tongue. Simply put, the Laguz considers the language to be beneath him as a concept. He will gladly speak to others of his people and his ways, however long gone they are, and may return the favor once he feels comfortable. In all things, all Baste truly desires is the safety of his family and their continued freedom.


History:


Even within high populations of Laguz, such as in Aquano, there is a push for the people to be more "civilized" to meld with their Beorc neighbors. At times, harmony is struck when a natural lifestyle of hunting meets the more forward-minded ideals of a community and commerce. But then, some don't mesh with that. For this reason, Baste has always been an outcast. Even in a relatively peaceful place, Baste's family has a long history of crime and rebellion against the Beorc population and it just so happens that Baste inherited that battle. His own family didn't last long in his life, leaving him to fend for himself and find a deep bond in with the one he now calls little sister. Due to their similar place in society, Baste took to the young girl and began to support her, reinforcing the idea that there was absolutely nothing wrong with being more in tune with one's beastly form.


When it came time for Noir to attempt life in the wild to match her wild soul, Baste didn't hesitate to join her. Not only did he have to look after his younger sibling, he had to understand what peace had taken away from him and his people. For a time, things were peaceful.


Naturally, the story of their slavery is one which left Baste beaten and unsure of his standing with the Beorc people. He left the experience with a new ally, perhaps the only trusted member of his family now besides Noir, and with wings much too weak to regularly take to the skies. He hopes to recover his full ability some day, though he would never leave the side of his companions even if that day came.


He knows that Noir and Kai are growing closer by the day, but he is reserving his judgement for now. He trusts Kai and he loves Noir with all of his heart. So long as her safety is not violated, he will remain supportive.


Other: Baste's hostility to the Beorc is largely due to his time as a slave, but it also seems to have some roots in his fundamental beliefs on how beings should live. It will take a lot to change his opinion on a person.

Also, sibling is an affectionate term and a way to reference how their relationship dynamic works. He loves Noir in an affectionate sense, but leaves enough distance to not really be a "father" of sorts as much as he is a protector and teacher.

Cobra Fangs x4 imagine these, but instead of skulls, there's a cobra design. Also, instead of lime green rope, imagine forest green cloth on the hilts. Also, on the parts that jut out, pretend they're little points that curve backward giving a barbed effect. Sort of like how snake teeth curve backward to allow them to grip prey in their mouth easier. Each one has its own pocket on Karno's right bicep.



Personality: A hotshot cocky dude with a bad habit of gambling. He lives up to the greedy playboy stereotype; lots of women, lots of alcohol, and he spends his money carelessly. He sometimes forgets that his father is a president and not a king. However, he wishes that their government was more like Palenia's. His father and him do not see eye to eye on hardly anything. He is quite racist against the non-humans and can be found drunk, screaming obscenities in the Laguz quarter in the wee hours of the night. He has perfected the art of hitting a moving target with a throwing knife... while completely trashed. He is very protective of his sister.



History: He grew up under the shadow of his father, a wealthy Fuccino lord. He was never Karno, but rather "the Lord's Son". His father was always busy with business and his mother had died when he was 2, so his only companion was his twin sister, Vira. They became close companions and partners in crime. She was the calm and he was the storm. Where she was calm and collected, he was brash and arrogant. He trained in using a sword and throwing knives in combat. Around the time his father was named president, he began funding an underground black market of various exotic goods that weren't subject to the nation's taxes. He profited from this greatly and used it to further his gambling and drinking habits. During the middle of his father's term, rumors of a land across the sea spread and he and his sister were sent across the sea as ambassadors for Fuccino. They reached a land called Taros and their party was ravaged, leaving only a few survivors. They returned to Fuccino with this news and the twins were rewarded greatly. Special throwing knives that could pierce armor and fell a running horse were made for Karno. He named these knives "Cobra Fangs"

Personality: Imagine that bombshell that every guy wants a piece of, but none can ever seem to get. She playfully flirts to toy with guys, making them think she's interested. However, any guy who tries anything gets to answer to her brother's sword. She finds her brother's drunken antics amusing, but definitely tries to be the voice of reason whenever he is going too over the top. She does not share her brother's racist views, but she does agree that Fuccino should have a king instead of a president.



History: Her history is pretty much the same as her brother's. Dead mom and alone aside from her brother. She trained in staves, hidden weapons, and poisons, supplying a "bite" to her brother's throwing knives. Together, they became known as the "Twin Fangs of Fuccino". After the tragedy of the expedition, she was rewarded access to rare ingredients to use in her poisons. This allowed her to expand her arsenal and aid her brother in even more ways than before. She can create her signature poison, Essence of Viper, that does more damage than normal poison, plus a small paralysis effect. However, the ingredients for this poison are extremely rare and she has only ever made two vials of it. Each vial has roughly 4 uses (one vial= one full set of Cobra Fangs) She keeps these poisons a secret from her brother, knowing he wouldn't understand that she couldn't make more. When she isn't making poisons, she uses her apothecary skills to help thieves. She gets paid to use her unlock stave and sometimes gets a little share of whatever is looted. Sometimes she wishes she would have chosen the path of a thief instead of an apothecary, but she is glad that she can aid her brother.



Other: Tried to balance the effects of the Essence of Viper with the cost. It's a pretty OP effect, so I figured it should be extremely hard to make. Plus, the secrecy part is so that Karno can't use it right off the bat. There needs to be an extremely strong foe for Vira to reveal this poison to him. She has the voice of Karen Gillan (the girl who plays Amelia Pond in Doctor Who)

Personality: Joel is a mostly quite and thoughtful young man who takes pride in his duties. He has a high patience level due to knowing Hayden and being dragged along on her adventures. He prefers to keep a cleanly appearance and respects those who show loyalty to their cause, hates traitors. He sighs the most out of everyone in the army, his birthday is November 9th.


History: Joel grew up knowing Hayden, and as such was dragged along on her trips into the forest; and more or less dragged Hayden out of said forests after she had spent multiple days in it. When Hayden set out on the expedition to Satrella, Joel went with her, seeing as he had already promised Hayden's Grandmother he'd do his best to keep Hayden safe. During the journey, Joel kept his promise as he put Hayden's safety over his own and made sure she got back to the ship safely; this netted him a large scar which travels diagonally across his nose. Now that Hayden is going back, Joel has no choice but to follow her back into the world that he worked hard to get her out of.

Personality: Gwenir can be summed up in one word: lazy. She can't be assed to take on complex tasks and often belly-aches when being sent on missions. However, she is easily persuaded into accomplishing just about anything with the promise of food. She's usually relaxed and has a sleepy voice. Despite the bleak odds Wynda has against Taros, she seems unusually calm, almost as if she doesn't care who wins. This couldn't be further from the truth, as she despises the country of Taros for their enslavement of her race. Despite being calm, harmless, and trifling in her human form, she is a ferocious fighter in her beast form. She gets tired easily and hates battles, as they disrupt her from the long naps she takes between meals.


History:
Gwenir never knew who her parents were, she was found by a hunter in the woods as an infant. The hunter took the cub back to his wife and the couple decided to adopt the poor thing. She grew up in a primarily human village, but the Laguz and humans of Wynda had been at peace for quite some time, thus she holds no animosity toward them. Her parents treated her "like a princess" if all a princess ever wanted to do was eat herself silly. When she was old enough to be trusted with a beaststone, she began hunting with her father, and helping her parents to sell their animal hides. As a teen, her village was raided by orcs, and her adoptive mother was kidnapped, much to her despair. Her father was maimed, and Gwenir was forced to carry him in her beastform for days until the two of them found a home in Hell's Maw near the border of Ifrin and Taros. When the war broke out, she joined the resistance, knowing that Taros' victory would mean separation from her father, whom she feels she owes her life.

Prideful is a good word for her, she holds pride in all things she does, to be perfection is her goal and by the gods and goddesses above she will not be dissuaded from her goals come hell or high water. Quick to anger, especially when her.. faults come into view... Which she has many of, what are her faults you ask? Well here is a good list of them.


1. Her accent, hard to understand at times and the over all way she speaks is best described as.. brutish...


2. HORRENDOUSLY clumsy, she more often then not blames her reflexes for being TOO good for such tasks, which in a way they are, dive to save a plate? Dived to far and straight into the cabinet, now the rest of the dishes fall on her.


3. She lacks... Assets, gets very jealous over such things if shes one upped by someone... which is often...


4. She has horrible penmanship, somehow she is able to read what it says but... it takes one hell of a linguist to read it.


5. Can't deal with certain smells, and sometimes near the kitchen she drools a little bit...


6. Sometimes gains an irresistible urge to knock cups off of tables.


7. Phobia of dogs, stereotypical but its hard to like them when they bark the moment your draw near.


8. Catnip, enough said.


9. Has a tendency to disappear on people, where did she go? None of the doors opened, shes not under the table, where the hell is she!?


These are the most common of the problems she deals with day to day, regardless she does her job to the best of her ability. To her friends she is quite the gregarious type of person, always willing to chat about just about everything and makes a wonderful friend, if she isn't having a bad day at least. She also is.. abit of a fan when it comes to laguz, their animal features specifically... She wants to touch them, play with the ears and tail of a wolf, hug a bear, feel the soft wings of a bird laguz... Just abit of a fan...


Also before you say it, shes fine with water, a perfect swimmer might I add.


History:
Marianna, to call herself low born would be a lie, but to say high born would be as well, a rare middle class in the day in age, a family of a long line of servitors who are well know for quality and their outstanding ability to act as body guards as well and in Fuccino the line of work as a servant brought many dangers, from the work and even the staff itself. From a young age she was taught the ways of her craft, the techniques of the dagger and the immense repertoire of dirty tricks to use against one's enemies. Indeed from a young age she was trained to be, as she likes to call it, a battle maid. Though sadly from her training she didn't quite learn how to use a staff to well... more likely to hit an enemy with it then heal an ally. Regardless, she loves her job, and is willing to do anything(except that you perv) to keep working it.


How she became a maid with her current employers is more or less summarize by one thing, luck, and intimidation factor, for what better maid could you have then one who does her job, but also can double as another? Of course this coupled with the fact more of the other choices, whom were in the same room as her, had to leave most unexpectedly for some strange reason.

Personality: Cold and calculating, a true strategist. Rarely showing any emotion, many people have thought that she isn't actually a human, but rather some sort of magical construct. Her doll-like, porcelain features don't help to disprove this. She is very organized, and is always working towards her goals


Despite this, when she is not around others (Or if she's around people she feels she can trust), she lets go of the cold and calculating Dominique, and becomes open. She becomes talkative, she laughs, she smiles. It's like an on/off switch, really. She knows when she needs to be Dominique, and when she can be Maya.


History: Born into nobility, Maya never had to work towards anything. Feeling unfulfilled was just part of her life it seemed. Her family had shielded her from the outside world for her entire life, and it seemed she would never learn about anything outside of their property. Without a purpose, she lived in luxury for 13 years.


No one knows who started the Fritz Manor fire, some say it was a fed up servant, some say it was Maya herself, considering she was the only family member to survive.


She didn't inherit the lands, or the money. Honestly, she didn't care. She wanted to start a new life, And thus began the story of Dominique Meyers


After wandering for about a year, she returned to her hometown and began training in the town's militia.


2 years later, she became a soldier


another 2 years later, she's leading other soldiers into battle, with great results.


3 years later, she became the Vicar Vivien's personal bodyguard, and has been by their side for 2 years now

Personality: Shes a little of a quiet person, even if she is taken into a conversation or was in a conversation with someone. She isn't as a social person as she should be, since she could have a lot of similarities with others. She absolutely LOVES animals, mostly 4 legged animals, especially foxes, but is not going to admit that, even if she makes it obvious. She tends to try and keep away from people she doesn't know but would stick around people she knew, but wouldn't talk much. (Yes she is very shy). If someone tries asking her something/ ask for help she will try and answer/help.



History: (Before memory loss.) She was born from another set of Laguz, mother being a fox Laguz as well. She was pretty much a normal child growing up ((just you know with the ears and tail)). She grew up using her own beaststone, which was a different looking fox, but she always loved her mothers fox form when she got to see it. One day she was out and about with her parents when her family was taken by surprise by a rogue wyvern knight, which had knocked down Makayla and later killing her parents. She was around 15-16 at the time. (After memory loss.) Makayla woke up on the ground only remembering her name and what she was. She looked up from the ground and saw a dead woman and man above her, also a broken stone next to her. She had seen the woman holding something in her hand, what looked like the stone that was broken if it wasn't broken.((dont know how to word that any better)) She had slowly opened the dead tight grip of the woman on the ground, and took the stone, but apologized to the corpse. She pocketed the stone and left, not sure what killed the two people but was sure it wasn't too far behind. (Next three years.) She learned how to fight from a group of Laguz that she came across when she was running from the wyvern rider. She Stayed with them till 6 months before her 19th birthday. She was traveling along a path alone with her bag with some antitoxin and her beaststone in her pocket, looking for a new group of people who she might trust better.



Other: Yeah no clue what else, I'm just feeling like i'm going to be judge now that this is done with. I HOPE ITS GOOD!

Personality: A rather relaxed and down-to-earth individual in comparison to the regular individual from Satrella. He cares for very little in life besides his freedom, and his own personal honor. Cain's frequent run-ins with death have rendered him practically numb to the pain usually accompanied to killing someone. He doesn't enjoy killing people, but he doesn't feel any regret in slicing an opponent, due to this Cain can seem a bit cold-hearted to people when he first meets them. He does, however, show a great amount of passion for his own martial poise. He loves showing off his skill to friends, challengers, and enemies alike. Also, he has a bit of a sense of humor. He's not the funniest person ever, but his mixture dry and dark humor can definitely lighten the mood at times.


TL:DR;


A duelist from Satrella. Swordfights with him tend to be awe-inspiring, deadly, and humiliating at the same time. His lack of inhibitions makes him a natural fit into most teams. He never backs down from a duel. The most likely to bring sake into a battle. Born on November 27th.



History: A Tarosian (Hope that's how it's worded anyway) at birth. He learned his swordsmanship from his father and quickly fled home when he felt he had learned everything he could. For the majority of his life, he's been on a nomadic quest around Satrella. Challenging anyone he could to duels to both gain fame, and make enough gold pass by. His repeated victories and lack of allegiance or family led him to be a sought-after mercenary.


A few missions for various shady individuals and his name was almost common knowledge to most Satrellian citizens. If someone had a problem with someone else or needed a mission taken care of he was one of the most effective in the land. As he continued his work as a sword for hire, his jobs slowly became more and more corrupt. Slowly but surely he found himself doing more assassinations and moving away from benevolent missions. The individuals who hired him seemed to care less about Cain as a person, and he began to feel that they saw him as nothing more than an expensive pawn in some crooked chess game.



It all culminated in a mission given to him by an old banker. The job was really simple especially in comparison to the reward he'd be getting for it. A noblewoman in Taros had owed the banker a small fortune due to an overdue loan. Cain just had to get the money from the individual and give it to the banker. Of course if the banker refused, Cain would simply persuade them into giving the money up anyway.



Days of travel later, and he finally had reached the woman's estate. It was an extremely elegant mansion. He'd never been inside of one himself, but he could only hope that someone who owned such a building could afford to pay off their loans. Cain snuck past their guards, and easily found his way to the woman's room. Hopefully, if he just explained himself the woman would just cough up the money and he wouldn't need to spill any blood.



He entered her room and what he saw he'll never forget.



The woman's body was sprawled along her bed, still clothed in a dress worth an arm and a leg. Speaking of which, the woman was composed of 5 different pieces placed sporadically on the bed's sheets. Blood was all over the walls and soaked deep into the carpet.



It was this moment that Cain felt an emotion he'd been trying to live without for his whole life: sadness. While his other missions, he could sleep off with the thought that he'd at least be helping someone in the world at the end of the day. Most of the people he did end up having to kill were better off dead anyway at least to him. This woman, however, didn't seem to have done anything wrong, and he couldn't believe someone would just kill her in such a violent way.



As he contemplated why someone would ever do something like this he heard several loud and hurried footsteps behind him. He was used to the sound and knew it was that of armored guards coming towards the mansion most likely. He knew he would need to leave quickly or face imprisonment, but he just had to find something, anything that could be a clue as to why someone would do something this heinous.



He look around and found a note left near the woman's right arm. It was written in fancy calligraphy that he normally wouldn't spend the time to try to read regularly.



"Cain did it" The note read in plain black ink. Cain read the note and crushed it in his hand immediately. This was all a setup from the beginning, someone wanted him out of the picture and they planned this out from the beginning. Cain was shocked but had no time to dwell on it. The guards had reached the upper floor and were racing towards the door already.



He quickly made an escape out of her window before fleeing the city.



Since he knew he was a dead man if he stayed in Taros much longer, he quickly bought himself a boat and headed towards Neth in search of a new future and to turn over a new leaf.



Other: He loves Sake, teaching people in the ways of the sword, and absolutely hates it when his sword gets broken.



Also... something about waffles and being afraid of them...
And I like Jojo's if that makes me any cooler around here.

Personality: Chester is a sadis-, I mean, he's a very happy man. He loves to make light of any situation he's in, whether he's being threatened or he's, er... Baking. He is obsessed with the concept of luck.


History: Chester was just a servant thought to be dead after being caught in the Fritz Manor fire. The truth was, he saw the servants who lit the fires, and did his best to save the family. He was only able to save Maya, before a beam fell on him, crushing his leg. He was the only servant casualty of the fire.


As for how he survived, even he doesn't know. He chalks it up to luck.


As for how he got out of town, he also chalks that up to luck


In fact, he chalks almost everything up to luck. His leg recovering well, leaving him with only a slight limp, his success in the black market, everything.


However that luck doesn't last forever, as the president's family supplied the black market, putting him out of business.


Now, in exchange for a cut of the profits, he works as a bodyguard for the family.

He is currently only the rank of Wyvern Knight, but he can't wait to get onto one of those magnificent undead beasties! He isn't short-tempered, but his stress builds up over time. He bottles it up and is prone to random explosions of anger. Despite his dislike of fighting, he knows how to defend himself and knows that words and diplomacy aren't always the answer.

Personality: Grieves has a dry and brutally honest sense of humor. He hates formalities and niceties and makes a conscious decision to avoid "small talk." Despite being a mercenary, he thinks that gold is ultimately worthless in the grand scheme of things, and it's a shame that the world is run by coin. But having experienced poverty for a short time in his life, he became a proud member of the rat race just like everyone else. He is very philosophical, and tends to think about life and death often. Like most Ifrinic peoples, he values nature above all else. He constantly finds himself in conflict with his morality, and for the past few years he's been developing a strict code for himself to prevent himself from becoming cruel. However, his serious side is countered by his fierce will to party, no one loves a night of debauchery more than Grieves does...except maybe Karno. Nobles make him nauseous. He's loyal to a fault, as keeping promises are a part of his code.


History:
Za'ir was born into a small Ifrinic tribe. He traveled the deserts for most of his young life, but as he grew older, he began to wonder if there was more to life. His curiosity began to eat at him, and even the nomadic life style of the Ifrinic people grew monotonous for him. At the age of 19, he abandoned his tribe and moved to Taros to find work as a mercenary. At the time,Tarosian nobles usually didn't hire Ifrinic warriors unless they were part of a larger mercenary troupe, or if they had built up a reputation for themselves. Being young and new on the scene, it would be years before Za'ir would find work. He began to live as a street urchin, during which time he earned his nickname, "Grieves," because he looked so sad all day it looked like he was constantly grieving. When he got tired of being hungry, he returned to Ifrin and joined various groups of marauders. One night, the marauders raided the wrong village on the outskirts of Taros. A group of traveling mercenaries were paid to protect it by the citizens of the village, and the marauders fled, leaving Grieves to die alone. Instead, the mercenaries saw his prowess as a fighter, and invited him to join their band. He accepted and has since found work in the Tarosian military.


However, this would prove to be a curse disguised as a blessing. Grieves found himself battling against tribes of Ifrin that refused to bend their knee to Taros. He witnessed soldiers destroying the home he loved. Many men were executed, women raped, children enslaved. The Laguz got the worst of it. It was during this time that he met Drokar, a giant of a man who seemed to be the only soldier in the military with a soul. Grieves had been traveling to a dark place, he was beginning to think that all humans were inherently evil, and would crush anything weaker than themselves, but Drokar proved him wrong. The man was a beacon of hope in an unforgiving world. The two became fast friends, and found themselves looking out for each other on the battlefield. Grieves has killed many an archer in the name of Drokar. They currently find themselves marching toward Wynda to put an end to the resistance there.

Personality: Koren is naturally quite and tends to keep to himself. He suffers from minute depression from his decisions and from the teasing of the Satrella Army. He is usually mistrusted and tends to spend his time alone. He is the best Shot in the army, his birthday is August 12th


History: Koren was born in Fuccino and his parents immediately started training him in archery. He became so skilled that he was requested to be a bodyguard to the twin lords of Fuccino. He served the two lords for most of his life and became one of their most trusted companions. He was drafted to take part in the original operation, and was one of the few survivors of the last boat.


Koren, however, decide to become a part of the the final line of defense th
at helped secure the last boats escape. After the battle Koren was among the survivors of the slaughter, and when the Satrellan people were beginning to execute the survivors Koren decided to save his own skin. He swore loyalty to the Satrellan people (the people of Taros more specifically) and they took him into the army. He now serves in the Tarosan people and hopes that the lords are well and to see them again, but fears the consequences. He serves in the same troop as Grieves and Drokar.

History:






Lived with a nomadic group of merchants. Was orphaned at a young age after his group was attacked by a group of bandits, witnessing his mother killed by a Laguz. He was saved by a swordsman that lived alone in the nearby mountains. This swordsman took him in as his disciple. After many years of training, he left his master's side and became a mercenary, often as a bodyguard for different nobles. His latest contract has him as a bodyguard for some Palenian noble.

Personality: While in his younger days Galo was notable for his overt aggressiveness and quickness to snap at the slightest provocation, these days he comes off as more of a bored middle aged man than anything else. He still pines for the glory days of his past and tends to look down on the younger combatants as inexperienced and childish and holds a particular bitterness towards his current employers for the simple fact that he doesn't want to watch over them.


However, In the past few years he also slowly came to realize that he's not getting any younger and a part of him wants pass on the skills he gained over the course of his years of soldiering, if only so that the memory of what his band was can live on in some form. To this end he sometimes tries approach those who he thinks will listen in an effort to teach the next generation a thing or two about fighting, but due to an over reliance on sarcasm and general lack of people skills he often just comes off as awkward and kind of creepy, a feeling punctuated by his bizarre armor that tends to put people off before he's even spoke a word.


History: Once there was a mercenary band who called themselves "The Storm Riders". Infamous across all of Neth for their exorbitant prices and heavy handed tactics, they were hired by only the most corrupt or desperate lords. While small in number they made up for it with a terrifying mix of intelligent maneuvering, lightning fast raids, and sheer brutality that elevated them to such standing that for a time simply seeing them among a lord's forces was enough to make men turn tail and run and whole castles surrender without a fight.


It was among this band of beasts that Galo was raised. orphaned as a child he would fallow the band around, cleaning armor and weapons for spare coins and looting the field of recent battles. When he was old enough to fight one of the officers decided to take him on as something of a squire, training him in the ways of combat, and eventually when he came of age he took up a horse and fought in the field alongside the only family he'd ever known.


These were the Halcyon days, a proud and accomplished warrior, Galo eventually rose to the rank of officer and lived in the lap of luxury. But of course, all good things come to an end, one night while preparing for battle a group of raiders fell upon the camp. As skilled in combat as the Riders and far more numerous they butchered many of the men before they could even react. Galo himself led a small force and attempted to strike back but couldn't stand against the enemy's sheer numbers. Ordering his remaining troops to flee, Galo managed to get a brief glimpse of the enemy commander, a man dressed in fiery red with a strange helmet painted with a face twisted in agony. In all his life, Galo had never felt true fear before that moment and that face would haunt his dreams for many years to come.


After several years, the remaining storm riders disbanded, moving on with their lives and many looking for less hazardous work. Galo himself drifted from place to place, his once prestigious title managed to land him a number of comfortable jobs among the personal guard of a few lesser lords and city mayors who all though far to highly of themselves and wanted to use the scary mercenary legend to frighten their subjects and opponents in court, but as his fees remained high many of them ended up releasing him from service after a few months when he refused to negotiate down. Through this constant shifting around, Galo eventually ended up in service to the President of Fuccino, and specifically tasked with protecting his kids. While annoyed with his position as a glorified babysitter, Galo is at least pleased with the fact that the position has come with some excitement.

Personality: Elanna comes off as a cute and innocent girl that couldn't hurt a fly... Then she smites you. She is a monk-ete built for battle as she likes to fight, whether it be with spells or fists (she maybe young but she will kick yo azz). She does have a soft side and can be caring. She is the loudest one in the army, her birthday is May 17th


History: Elanna is the child of a priestess... And a barbarian... Yeah interesting family. Her mother and father despite being... The complete opposite of each other actually settled down, had a child, and made her the perfect mesh of the two. Elanna was taught how to fight with axes when she was little (like 6-7) and she surprised her father by having great strength despite her age and and stature. Her mother taught her magic and found that her daughter had great skill with Light magic. Eventually Elanna was placed into the church and had to give up her axes and take up a tome. This made her father sad, but she promised that she'd pick up an axe later in her life as a War Cleric.


Ten or so years later Elanna was one of the better Monks in her sect and was chosen to try to bring peace to a group of islands near Neth that was being attacked by pirates... As it turns out the Pirates don't like the church and attacked the ship. The Pirates attacked and killed almost all the people on the ship... Except Elanna. The Pirates thought that they could make a profit off her cute little face and now is stuck on a pirate ship a little off the coast (The Ship that the assembly will encounter)
