Fandom Fire Emblem: Resurrection

Chrom's Biggest Fan
Hello, everyone! Welcome to the new Fire Emblem thread! Applications will be a lot more strict this time. Though the plot will be similar, we're going to have a much more detailed storyline. This means more character interaction, growth, and detail. Thus, please make your character description at least semi-detailed. Also, we'll be having caps on characters this time around, although you can feel free to double. Characters can still be OC's or canon as long as they fit into an open role.

Remaining slots (once again, need females):

Shepherds

1 Basic class (Cleric, Archer, Myrmidon, etc.)

1 Chrom

Plegians

1 "Evolved-classes"

3 Basic classes

Villains (for the first arc)

3 Villains (1 to fight the Plegians, 1 to fight the Shepherds, and 1 to be the "main boss" at Cantor)

You MAY double up, so please, take a villain if you are able to! We'll be having battle stats for characters as well, so please create them in a way that is true to your class.

W.I.P. (will add backstory later)

Name: Rithil

Age: 19

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Bisexual

Class/Weapon: Taguel (Tells people he's a Myrmidon) Wields an Iron Sword. Carries a hidden beaststone.

Appearance:

neko_neko__by_michiroko-d5c4z9u.jpg

Alliance: Shepherd

Personality: A friendly individual driven to solitude and secrecy by the near extermination of his race Rithil's playful personality is buried beneath fear of being discovered and killed. Left alone in a world of humans Rithil has bottled up a lot of anger not only at humans but also an irrational rage at his own people for leaving him behind.

As a cat-wearer Rithil does have a number of feline qualities notably a pronounced self-centered streak enhanced by his lack of anyone he feels he can trust. He is also particularly vain, a quality that conflicts with his need to be inconspicuous. While being unable to swim and wanting to avoid boats wherever possible his vanity is strong enough to make him bathe regularly.

Backstory: Orphaned by hunters at the age of 5 Rithil was taken as a living trophy piece by a Ylissean noble and kept on his estate of to be paraded in front of guests while being portrayed as "the last Taguel". While technically a prisoner he was taught his letters and treated fairly well as long as he only bit people his 'owner' didn't like.

Rithil remained in captivity for the next 7 years until the opportunity for escape came when the nobleman obtained a beaststone. Thinking his 'pet' tamed by the lengthy imprisonment and wanting to renew interest the noble allowed Rithil to use the stone and transform under guard. After mastering the transformation Rithil managed to sneak out of his cell one night and steal the beaststone, moving unbound in the dark the Taguel's simmering rage boiled over. By morning every human on the estate was dead, brutally mauled by tooth and claw.

Finally free Rithil spent 5 years wandering aimlessly, searching for any rumor of the rest of his race and stealing whatever he needed. Eventually he found a lead on another Taguel in tales of the Ylissean Shepherds and began working to track them down.

Name: Jalil

Age: 24

Sexuality: Bisexual

Alliance (Shepherd/Plegian/Villain): Plegian

Class: Sorcerer

Weapon(s): Thunder and Nosferatu tome

Personality:

Jalil, being an introverted man, is all about less talk and more killing. He's mostly quiet and isn't too fond of talking about himself. It's not exactly because he's shy, it's more like he's uninterested. His main goal is to simply get on with life and not waste any of his time with petty nonsense. He will follow whatever will benefit him; he simply wishes to survive, nothing more. Often times, people don't find him day dreaming or coming up with charming ideas for the future. He's focused on now, and what's in front of him.

If he is, for some reason, overwhelmed or put under pressure, he'll respond in a bitter or sarcastic way. Most of the time he is calm and composed, however he'd prefer to respond with short answers.

Backstory:

Jalil, like his parents, has been a follower of Grima his entire life. His parents had devoted themselves to fighting in the Plegian army purely for the belief that if Plegia reigned, the Fell Dragon will someday return. Both had been very skilled sorcerers and expected Jalil to follow in their footsteps, in which he did, until their sudden deaths. Since then, Jalil has been more laidback, no longer a fanatical Grimleal, but taking care of whatever gets in his way.

He never experienced real familial love, (or the romantic kind, for that matter.) His parents neglected him in an emotional way. They only cared about if he will succeed or not and how he will succeed, they only wished for him to carry their family name with pride and honor. Because of this, he grew up believing love didn't actually exist, and his personality shaped itself into a colder, more distant kind.

Appearance:

Jalil is a tall Plegian man with stark white hair that perfectly contrasts with his dark tanned skin, made all the more prominent with rich golden eyes that practically glow. He stands tall at about 6'1, with a body packed with lean muscle, which is usually draped in dark magician robes(keeping his torso bare.) He has white tattoos on his shoulders, chest and abdomen, but they don't particularly mean anything.

Name: Lucina

Age: 18(?) [May change this]

Gender: Female

Sexuality: Demisexual

Class/Weapon: Great Lord/Parallel Falchion, Rapier

Appearance:

D5Zex75.png

While the Shepherds didn't know Lucina was Chrom's daughter, and after her butterfly mask was destroyed, she wrapped a white bandage around her left eye, which blocks the brand of the Exalt from proper view.

Alliance (Shepherd/Plegian): Shepherd

Personality:

Having seen everything that has happened in the future, Lucina has found herself become filled with determination in order to prevent this outcome from occurring in more timelines, which was her main reasoning for returning to the past. However, due to the death of the exalt, Emmeryn, and somehow the timeline being corrupted further due to Ylisse loosing the war against Plegia, she found herself working harder than ever to fix the timeline and to stop Grima simultaneously.

Though she has so many tasks on her hands, Lucina wishes to not kill as many people as possible. To her, killing was rather mindless, and the only exception she would make was to slay Risen, as they were suffering enough due to their current state of life. When preventing deaths, sometimes she may see use for keeping someone alive, and many even putting faith in them if she was not wary already.

However, commonly Lucina is rather cautious of others. Similarly to Frederick and unlike her Father Chrom, the princess does not instantly trust those, especially when it came down to Chrom's safety. If she believed anyone was plotting any sort of goal against Chrom, wherever it'd be making Chrom their love (that wasn't Lucina's mother), killing him, and far more others, Lucina would investigate the suspect. Her protection of Chrom even extends to her possibly breaking some of her morals, for example, her not killing others mindlessly.

Most likely due to her lifestyle, Lucina is one of the most stoic people within the Shepherds. If someone were to tell a joke, she will most likely not get it, and possibly even take it literally if it wasn't clear enough to be sarcasm or jokingly. However, this also makes her occasionally oblivious to some things one may find childish, depending how others would react to her doing so. Most of her childish acts were due to her not having much of a childhood herself, and she would almost always only do these with her family.

Backstory: "You have been warned." Those words echo'd throughout Lucina's head as she would walk away from the rather singed forest. They were the last words she had told her family in the past, but now was not a time for a reunion. Earlier, it was to the future princess's surprise that'd she would meet four people she never expected to meet this soon... Aunt Lissa, Sir Frederick, a man she did not know about, and her own father, Chrom. It was good timing as well. If she waited any longer, already she would have screwed up with the future by nearing having Aunt Lissa killed by Risen... By the Risen that Lucina herself practically dragged with her into the past.

Her fist clenched for who knows how long after this realization. Why had she been so reckless to allow the Risen to get through the portal before she did? Lucina knew she was faster than them, yet they got ahead of her... Regret for the recent event filled her head, but she soon shook it off. In order to succeed in her mission, she must not loose her train of thought. Currently, her main objective was to stop Aunt Emmeryn's assassination. A good secondary goal would be to find the other future children, but it was not as much of an importance. She would have to find the nearest village to figure out what day it was, and how long she had until that fateful night.

Soon, she was far enough away from the forest without her even noticing it until she stopped thinking. She glanced behind her to see if the old Shepherds were trying to follow her. They were not. Good, Lucina thought to herself. The farther she was from them, the more comfortable she was. It was not because she didn't believe them to be her real family, because if she did she would not be trying to stop the horrible timeline from happening. Her reason was simply because she could not be distracted by the lust for seeing all of her family again, and to just make brand new memories with them. That was not meant to be. She would stop the assassination, and then she would return to her future, and the timeline she should be in.

Lucina began to approach a village, which seemed to be recovering from a foiled bandit attack. They did not pay much attention to her, but there were a few who glanced towards her, thinking about something in their heads as they did. In this town, she would play herself as 'Marth' as she would with everyone else in this continent of Ylisse. "...Excuse me, sir," The girl who called herself Marth would ask a man, "What day would it be today? I have lost track of time." She tried her best to keep her voice and posture masculine as she possibly could. Acting was definitely not as easy as she believed it would be, but it was one of the most important things she should do in this situation, unless this world were to be destroyed by the Fell Dragon.

@RainbowToRosie I was hoping everyone would rank them in order, but without numbers, since I feel like keeping the numbers comparable would be difficult. T.T

In other news, you first three are approved! Can you all simply remove the numbers from next to your stats and order them from best to worst? They're just meant to give a general guide of how your character would fair in a battle. Thanks!

Name: Tillin Arel

Age: 20

Sexuality: Homosexual

Alliance (Shepherd/Plegian/Villain): Shepherd

Class: Priest

Weapon(s): Heal, Rescue, and Barrier staves

Personality: "Sweet" is the perfect word to describe Tillin. He truly cares about everyone around him, even the enemy at times. He goes out of his way to make sure everyone is feeling good both physically and mentally and wants to prove his use as a priest. Although he's usually on the backlines, he wouldn't hesitate to take a blow for one of his friends.

His one quirk is that when he falls for someone, he falls for them hard. If Tillin likes someone, all of his thoughts will revolve around that person, which can become a hinderance not only in everyday life, but also in battle. As a hopeless romantic, he is somewhat desperate to fulfill his romance goals and often goes above and beyond to get his way. One of the only things that can truly bring down his feelings is not feeling appreciated by his crush. A bit naive, Tillin often does not have his priorities straight, thinking of his own personal desires before the greater good. Still, as a healer, he knows he must care for everyone, so he is a dependable ally to those on his team.

Backstory: Tillin had heard of the Shepherds, but only in passing when a villager or neighbor might discuss how the group had rallied against the Plegians throughout Ylisse. The boy's own town was quite isolated, located quite far up the mountainside in the southeast of the country, making it both a pain to travel to and difficult to find. Though he had heard that village after village had fallen to Plegian forces, the news had yet to affect him in a meaningful way and he carried on with his life as he normally would. Farming was the village's main source of food and income, so Tillin spent the majority of his time helping out in the fields, despite his rather weak frame. However, at the end of the day, he would always find himself in the town's monastery. Initially, he had been forced to go to the church by his parents who wished for him to get some sort of education. As time passed, though, the boy found himself going of his own free will. Once his teacher had decided to show him how to use healing magic, Tillin had become obsessed. The ability to heal not only his own wounds, but those of his friends was a gift that he cherished.

It was during one of his typical evenings at the monastery that he first got a glimpse of the Shepherds. The group had somehow managed to locate the village, riding up the mountainside before stopping at the gates. Tillin had rushed to the scene, eager to see the mercenary group that had seemed like a myth. As he arrived at the gate, his eyes narrowed at the group. Were they really able to fight? Each person seemed so different from the next and it seemed almost as if the group had simply been thrown together at the last minute. The village council conferred for a moment before deciding to let the Shepherds in, providing them with a place of respite. Tillin watched, unimpressed, as the mercenaries entered the town, looking for places to rest. It was not until the last of them had entered that he saw who was bringing up the rear. Ylisse's prince was really a part of this rag-tag group of mercenaries? Tillin's eyes widened upon seeing the man for the first time, his blue hair contrasting with the silver armorplate upon his shoulder. The boy already knew it was a done deal...he had fallen for Chrom already. He knew it was shallow, based only off of looks and the stories he had heard, but he couldn't resist.

He slept restlessly that night, considering the option of searching for the prince more than once. His shyness got the better of him, though, and it was not till the next morning that he got another glimpse of the man. The band was already preparing to depart, riding off to their next destination. Before doing so, though, Chrom had thanked them for their hospitality and welcomed anyone to join their group--especially healers. Tillin's heart had skipped a beat, both excited by the prospect of being near the prince, but fearful of leaving his peaceful hometown behind. Before his mind could react, his heart had taken action and he had raised his hand to volunteer. Rather than Chrom welcoming him, though, a random soldier had pulled him aside and discussed what it would be like as part of the troop. Though a bit disappointed that he hadn't gotten to speak with the prince, Tillin agreed to go along in the hopes that he might be able to get closer to the man later. After a tearful goodbye with his parents--they had objected furiously, but ultimately had let him go--he set off with the Shepherds, leaving his village for one of the first times in his life. Though his priority was getting close to Chrom, he swore that he would do his best to protect his new allies to the best of his ability.

Okay, I fixed her! (and changed her stats order a bit too since I wasn't going based off of what I had) I can't wait for the roleplay!
