Atlantis is a prosperous nation, advanced in technology and medicine. It is the most powerful nation in the world, above China, Rome, Greece. No leader is as just as the one of Atlantis. Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end.

Fast-forward to modern times. A record has been found in the middle of the Mediterranean, one that points to Atlantis.

Abridgment of the record of Ande Suthey-Raht

The end is coming. The spiritual leaders predicted it, but did we listen? No.
The wharf is engulfed by waves, I write this record in the great library. The library survived the first great flood, saving many, I am confident that it will survive this one.
This new flood is a punishment from the gods, Athe, Gontra, Unbu. They punish us. They demand sacrifice, we have not met their demands. They demand our souls.
A call is sounded, the waters are coming from the wharf to the town. We will soon be overcome.
The temple leaders call for us to sacrifice, but we already know it is too late. Many answer their call, but their ministrations are in vain.
On the other end of my tablet, I have composed a map of Atlantis, may it serve others if we do survive.

This discovery sets the world on fire, every nation wants to find Atlantis, and eventually, an eight(?) person team is gathered to take on the task. This team is made up of experts in every field of knowledge. They are pressed to find Atlantis, will they succeed?

Onto the idea.
I feel like what I wrote above explained the RP pretty well, but I will make it clear that it is preferred to be a 1x1. As for the group, it will be composed as follows.
1. Explorer (2x)
2. Technician(1x)
3. Doctor(1x)
4. Cryptographer/Translator(1x)
5. Weapons Expert (1x)
Obviously, there's to spots that can be filled, or not. I also expect to have a diverse group of all people. If you come to me with a group of people that are all of one sexuality, race, sex, and nationality, I will delete the conversation. I want a fun, diverse group.
