Feeling: Excited

With: Seymour

Magic: To be determined

After about a weeks travel over fields and through forests the mages finally made it to the great city of Corneria. The city itself was surrounded by a crescent shaped forest as well as stone walls. The gate was always open except at night to keep the monsters at bay. Beyound the walls was a large city full of homes, shops, inns and taverns. At the back of the city, towering over it, was the castle where the King and the Princess lived.

As they got nearer to the great city Ronifrin got all the more excited. They were tired, dirty and covered in sticks and leaves but they had made it. And that was all that was important. Ronifrin grinned happily at the sight. He knew they would make it. The shorter boy looked to his friend a wide grin on his shadowed face.

"We made it Seymour!" He exclaimed happily. "We're here! This is Corneria. It's bigger than I thought it would be. Wow...look at that castle! That thing is so big! Can you imagine the spells and stuff we can find here? Oh I'm so excited! We should go inside and go to the local cavern and get some food." He suggested dusting his robe off. He knew they were supposed to meet at Corneria but to him it made no sense to wait outside where they could be attacked by random monsters at any moment.

He wouldn't enter the city until Seymour was ready not wanting to leave the white mage on his own. They were in this together. He wasn't going to just abandon him now. "I'm ready to go in when you are Seymour." he told the mage smiling at him.

Current Location:
Corneria

Nama's been traveling for a month feeling his way around until the old man told him he was at Corneria. The pendant told him that it was here, that the heroes were gathering here. If it was going to be fun he was going to do it and the old man kept nagging him until he went. Corneria was surprisingly far away from where he was staying in Provoka town.

Nama moved closer to the gate and out of the bushes. Spotting two people standing in front of the gate one looked excited while the other was just standing there. One looked ready to go in but because the other was just standing there he guessed he decided he would wait for his friend. The pendant started talking
"them, over there are the other heroes but where's the other one hurry up and enter through the gate. No need to keep waiting." As the pendant said this Nama moved toward the gate walking in past the others.

Rosé

The strange amulet was very nice Rosé decided as she tossed it up and down, testing its weight in her hand. Real gold with a strange orb in the middle. Good thing that red bloke didn't need it. Well, she puzzled, he probably did but not more then her. She had a mouth to feed! The amulet landed in her hand and she stowed it in her little satchel to sell later. Merrily she strode through the alleys of Corneria looking for other small pickings. She was doing well, she thought. She had a fresh bow on her back and coin in her pocket. Also, no home, no friends. Lovely. She sighed and decided that she could use a little more gold today. Quickly she jumped to a rooftop and started to run, jumping from roof to roof until she reached the walls which she climbed skillfully avoiding the gazes of the guards and then clamored down the other side. People, she had noticed, were always afraid of being robbed in a city. But not when they hadn't entered the gates yet. Easy pickings. Like those two rubes in the robes. But no, the robes hid their coin purses too well, she'd have to do something drastic to get at them. But that big hunk of muscle on the other hand, he would be easy. She practically skipped over to him. When she noticed he had an amulet, exactly the same as hers. How odd, She thought as she took his pouch of coins and kept walking, I'll have to look more into this piece.

Seymour stood frozen in place, legs shaking with fear. He had never even strayed far from his village before this adventure. Now they were in front of the biggest city he'd ever seen. It was enough to make him faint, and if it weren't for his friend Ronifrin he probably would have. The tall mage maneuvered himself slightly behind Ronifrin even though he was significantly taller than the other. He pulled his hood up as far as it would go with shaky hands. "R-right. Big city. Lots of people. Where we could get stabbed or robbed or mugged. Are robbed and mugged the same thing?"

Seymour took a moment to calm himself down. Once he was finally ready he took a big breath in and started speaking. "Alright let-" Just then a massive wall of meat walked by the two mages. Seymour squeaked in terror, eyeing the musclehead up and down. Just the sight of him made his hair stand on end. "Are you sure we should go in here? If guys like that are normal we're going to get beaten, flogged, murdered, killed, squished, beaten...Did I say beaten already?" Seymour's babbling was a way from him to calm down. It had actually helped once more and he took another deep breath.

"Well guys that could squish us just by looking at us aside, let's g-" Again his thought process was interrupted. This time by a girl that blatantly stole from the musclehead in broad daylight. His jaw dropped and what little confidence he'd had before immediately vanished. "Okay Ronifrin I have to be honest with you here. Your magic is great and all but this town is going to spit us up and chew us out. Are you sure you heard that voice right? Maybe it said go to a town -near- this place. One that's less big and has less people stealing. We don't have anything worth stealing and when people find that out they're just going to hurt us. I can't heal with broken fingers Ronifrin."

All the color had drained from the white mage's face, ironically making him a pale white color. He clasped his hands together and squeezed hard, steeling what little nerves he had less. He began to speak once more."All right this time let's..." Seymour paused before finishing the sentence, expecting something even worse to happen. When nothing did he let out a sigh of relief and smiled. "Let's go." His confident tone belied his true feelings and he was still standing behind the black mage.

(Sorry it took so long everyone! Had to get settled in and junk.)

Ronifrin turned to look at Seymour over him just freaking out over the sheer size of the city. Sure it was big. He would be the first to admit that. Growing up in a small farming community it was such a shock to see a huge city like this. He understood how Seymour felt about the city but not everyone that lived in a city was going to hurt or rob from them that was just asinine. He smiled gently at Seymour. "I don't think it's going to be that bad Seymour. And as to your question I think that robbing is to steal money from someone with force or the threat of force and mugging is attacking someone to steal from them. Sooooo if I had the choice I'd rather be robbed from. I have a better chance of coming out of it not hurt." he grinned. "But I don't think that's going to happen."

He waited as Seymour continued talking and jumped surprised at the giant of a man that walked by them. Holy he was huuuuuuuuge. Wait...Over Seymour's rambling he could hear that same voice from before talking to him. He was one of the Warriors? He was one of them? Whoa....He was about to say so when out of nowhere and in broad daylight as well a girl went up to Mr. Muscle and clear as day took his purse from him. The mage blinked as once again the voice spoke up. The girl was already leaving but he turned to look at Seymour. Whom he couldn't help but notice had moved even more behind him for some reason. He wouldn't say anything about that though. He knew that this was hard enough for him.

"Seymour...those two. That big guy and that girl...they're like us. They're Warriors. We should go talk to them or something." he said as he rushed to go after the big man. Hopefully they would be able to talk to the girl as well but for right now the big guy was more convenient. And another thing...why was everyone taller than him? Sure that girl wasn't but this guy sure was. Oh well. Ronifrin had pretty much gotten used to such things.

"Excuse me! Sir! Can we talk to you?" Ronifrin called after the big man, hoping that Seymour was following behind him.
