Fantasy Final Degree

A group of scientists adopted 10 kids, planning to create 10 human weapons to protect the country from the world's war. The kids, all infused with different powers, were transported into the past (modern day world) accidentally during a training session.

The scientists had to get them back at all costs--they spent too much of their life in order to accomplish this, and the kids each had one unique power that would help them in the battlefield. Of course, they were one of a kind, and no one could remake them, not with the materials they used, as they used the last of it in the work. So, they sent another 10 unique group of kids with certain powers to fetch them back.

10 Human Weapons:

Land- This child can use the ability of illusion to cover him/herself to a certain extent. (Ex: They can fool the human eye so that they appear a part of their surrounding). This child also possess inhuman strength.

Water- This child can turn into water itself for a certain length of time. He/she also has the ability to control water and its forms (mist, ice, etc.) as long as they have direct contact with it. They are not affected by any water forms (acid, etc.), and cannot drown.

Air- This child has a slight floating ability to move quicker around their opponents. He/she has the ability to control air to a certain extent, and can create air currents. They are not affected by anything in gas form (ex: poison gas, sleeping gas, etc.)

Earth- This child can control the forms of solids (ex: can melt a comb to a form of slow liquid). He/she also can control earth to a certain extent (ex: make the ground change its composition to match something like quicksand/re-harden it).

Energy- This child can sense people even though he/she cannot see them. He/she also has the ability to use energy to his/her advantage (ex: use another person's energy to keep him/herself alive). He/she can also give and take away life, but it is really difficult and may disable the user's ability.

Sound- This child has inhuman hearing and can hear the lowest of sounds. He/she also has the ability to produce earsplitting sounds (based on volume and pitch only). Different sounds (ex: crash, someone else's voice, etc.) require different amounts of energy.

Fire- This child is not affected by heat or fire, therefor immune to burns. He/she can also control fire to a certain extent, and produce fire, though it may drain the user of their energy.

Nature- This child can affect the growth of any living thing and change the stage of their growth (ex: Change caterpillar's stage from butterfly to pupa), though it may use up a lot of energy. He/she can also control nature (plants, vegetation, etc.) to their will (ex: make is grow faster, etc.)

Communication- This child can communicate with anyone in any language. He/she also has the ability to any living thing, especially animals.

Electricity- This child can change his/her body into electricity itself for a certain amount of time. He/she has the ability to control electricity taken from an electrical source. Producing his/her own electricity can use a lot of his/her energy.

10 Gatherers

You are allowed to have one unique power, though it cannot be the powers of the Human Weapons. You do not necessarily need a power--you can have a strong human trait (ex: very intelligent).

To those who choose to be regular humans and such, you may be older (age range is limitless, but please keep it human), and there are no supernatural beings besides the 20 kids unless you are the scientists (the people of the future are a mixed race--vampires, etc., are there)

If you would like to be one of those supernatural beings, you must remember that you are from the future, and will have to stay in human form.

Thanks for the wait.

*I am starting this RP from before any of the Human Weapons were sent into the 'past.' They are now at a training session.*

Kieth tapped at his board, watching the Weapons from afar. They seemed to be in good shape...nothing physical should be a problem. He walked off, planning to put this information into the computer.

(So my character literally cannot come into this yet... As he exists in a different timeline... I hope this doesn't take too long.)

(Haha, sorry, I was in...someplace away from home with terrible wifi. I'll post tomorrow; I'm tired. ~.~)
Serephene was currently practicing with one of the machines in the training area; one that threw knives. It was practice for dodging and deflecting, but she chose to sharpen her dodging abilities. She managed to get through five 2-minute rounds before stopping to take a water break.

(Not sure what to post.... >.>)

One of the scientists watching her looked at her critically, scribbling things down on his clipboard, crossing some of it out and correctiong it, and writing some more, changing what he had written at every tiny little thing that Seriphine did.

(I feel like I'm being stalked. O.o )

Serephene needed to move on, and so, she made her way over to the bars, thinking of working out her flexibility. She leaped at a high bar, doing a couple of turns before landing on her feet. After a couple more flexibility exercises, she made her way outside to run laps and measure her endurance.

As she ran the laps, the scientists continued reviewing and rereviewing their notes, commenting on things as small as stride length and regularity, gait, balance, the angle to which her feet were from her leg, everything. Eventually, once she came to a halt, (which I'm sure she did.) the scientists finished writing and came into a circle, discussing, comparing and crossreferencing their notes before reaching an agreement.

"her current efficiency rate is 87.63%." one of them said.

"that's a 6.13% improvement on yesterday's." said another.

"but that improvement is 2.37% lower than yesterday's." said a third.

"Which means that she will reach 100% efficiency in..." said a fourth. "5 days."

"However, the study indicates that a further decline will occur if the training routine is not... " said the first, who appeared to be in charge, "...improved..."

"What is your suggestion?" asked the third.

"We wait, to see if this is true." the first replied.

"And then?" asked the second.

"That answer is dependant on unknown data." the first said.

"so we wait until the hypothesis is proved or disproved?" suggested the fourth.

"Agreed." concluded the first.

"Agreed." rallied the others.
(I'm going to sleep now... G'night...
