| I love fandoms, a lot. Like I should love to create my own settings and I do but when I RP my mind is most entangled with retelling new stories in a fandom setting with canons because I find them so fun. But alas, sometimes I have been known to do something purely original and I've had a lot of fun with them. So this is going to be an original story unless you and I have a fandom we could spin this into... |
| I am seeking someone who can write, like a lot. I'm happiest when my partner can match me but it's not mandatory. I just want someone who can put effort into their posts. So to me that means around 3-4 paragraphs. I can write a lot more than that but generally you won't see anything less than 2-3 paragraphs from me, it just wouldn't be possible. I love detail and development and to me that can only happen with in depth writing and character study. |
| So speaking of lengthy posts, I would have quite content with just a few posts a week. I don't need one every day and to be honest, I don't think I can post that frequently myself so why ask something I can't promise myself? If you're going to take your time, please do. I am a patient woman and don't like to bother people to post, I trust it'll happen when timing and motivation allow for it. |
| That said, please don't be one of those silent partners who just post and doesn't plot. I need a partner. I need someone who is excited to plot and gush about the present and things to come. If I have someone who communicates clearly, I would be totally fine with even a single post a week because we'd likely be corresponding between posts anyway. Not only does discussion help the story but it also ensures that ghosting is less likely to happen. At least in my years of experience, partners who talk are ones who are most likely to stick to something long term. Real life happens so when it does, let's try to keep each other in the loop. Yeah? |
| I would prefer threads for actual posting and conversations/pms for out of character chit chat. I'm not looking to go off-site because my time is unpredictable so I'd rather not migrate somewhere and then not have time to even log on. |
| Lastly, I am a visual person so when we do construct character sheets, I'd prefer some kind of anime picture for our characters. It would look strange if I picked an anime girl and my partner picked like...Daniel Radcliffe, kinda hard to translate that into a drawing and a fantastical setting in my mind haha. |
The Roleplay:
| This can be modern fantasy or medieval fantasy, I don't care either way. To me there is a playful noir, mystery tone we could play with. |
| Again, if we have a fandom in common we could go AU and fit characters into the song. That could be fun. |
| The vibe I get from this is there is a knight being protected by a cleric of sorts. They both protect one another I feel like. There's a strong sense of devotion to one another, it doesn't feel too one sided. It's possible the "other side" and a place "to escape to" could be mentioning some kind of means to travel from dimension to another. We could do some kind of time travel fantasy? I don't know if I want to put an emphasis on the darkness in whoever's heart is being sung about, mostly because I don't really like it when it one character is a loner/asocial/depressed and the story revolves around another character trying to cheer them up. To me, that's a bit boring and lopsided. |
| Generally that's about the only ideas I have so far. I am looking to play a female now if that means I'm the healer, so be it but I also think it would interesting to flip the genders and have the male be the one who's singing. I am open to maybe FxF but it would take some real convincing because it's a romance option I haven't touched in many many years. I am also open for pure wholesome friendship without romance. But let me know if you'd prefer that over romance. I see this as being some sprawling adventure with quests, helping people, slice of life, very light combat, and such. |
