Four Thousand Club
so this is my plot essentially.
Our characters are in the running for the world fighting championship held in L.A, my character, he is an Australian farm boy, he grew up with 5 brothers all of whom were rough and tumble, he went to a tough city school when his parents split, and all through this, his father told him never to stay on the ground, to keep getting up, and eventually, he never went down in the first place, signing up for classes he quickly mastered Krav Maga and two forms of Kung Fu including Tai-Chi (relaxing when slow, devastating when fast)
Your character, she is from a rich family, her parents lived in a beach house just north of the edge of L.A, while growing up in a rich family in California, a girl has two choices, one, go out, take a lot of drugs, get f****d by a lot of guys and crash your Bentley into a traffic pole while drunk and have mommy and daddy bail you out... OR, find something to occupy your time, your character, unlike her sisters chose the latter.
She would wake up at 5:30am each morning and run for miles along the beach, she would go hiking and camping during the weekends, when it was pouring rain and too windy to risk going outside, she would work on her martial arts, soon mastering 7 forms of martial arts.
Both of our characters decided to join our age group's fighting tournaments in our local areas, and well, victory after victory, your character dominated the (gym twice a week) girls and my guy grew up feeling punches, kicks and ridicule while his opponents never learned to accept them, like a hot knife through butter they cut through their competition, soon coming to the big one in Vegas... but something has changed.
Suddenly, because of a large influx of fighters, more than was initially estimated, the fighters would be split into teams, who would train together, share rooms and of course, fight together against other teams... and guess what? our characters got put together, their initial meeting is tense, but well, he's taken by her exotic beauty, and his thick accent makes her blush, but they're not here to flirt, they're here to fight!... right?
