OVERVIEW & GUIDELINES
I. POST TRACKER
-To keep track of who does what and where, we will need to lay down a tracker for each post. At the top of your replies, please include your character name, location, and player tags (interactions).
-While immersed in Frangible, please also make a note of their chosen weapons and gadget.

II. COMBAT
-Players have the liberty to stream their solo games and determine the outcome. Only in official Tournaments or Turf War matches, will PvP combat be closely monitored by the Committee (Me).
-As this roleplay is mostly focused on both gameplay intrigues and the player's interaction outside of Frangible, PvP outcomes will first and foremost be self-determined by players involved. If no agreement can be reached, percentile of success will follow the levels of detail written and finally be put on a dice to determine the aftermath. Fun comes first, so communicate with one another in OOC.
-Posting courtesies are applicable here, meaning that you may write what your character does or try to do, but try not to override another player's disposition in one post. Allow them to respond.

PRE-MATCH LOADOUT
Players are able to customize their weapon and gadget slots, before clicking submit to lock in their requisition. The only game-mode that disables this function is Drop Zone (DZ), but players may retain their default melee weapon. The pre-match equipment template is as follows:

Primary: (Refer to Loadouts section of Wiki. disregard if none.)
Secondary: (Refer to Loadouts section of Wiki. disregard if none.)

Heading into the new year, flocks of gamers tend to their own practices. While others are also keen on preparing for the upcoming Season. Following the latest weapon and map patches, Frangiblers are poised on correccting their tactics and adjust their styles. Among them are the vehement Kingslayers and the trending Bell & Friends detachments. During a three-hours long conference call where both KSL and BF sponsors were present, a precedent was set as Bell & Friends were invited to Germany for a friendly practice match between the two detachments. While the bigger picture has yet to make itself clear, Bellington saw this as a great opportunity for a teambuilding and community-outreach trip for everyone involved.

On the other hand, the Kingslayers were also keeping their skills in-check in preparations for the upcoming Season 1 Extension, which was rumored to give way to the advancement of their GDRs. Though the decision to challenge a lower-ranking Detachment did not escape the speculative players therein. Pressure from the media, particularly that of MonsterZ's rising popularity within the Pro-league community, begged the attention of the enthusiastic Kingslayers to take actions. For the time being, Bell & Friends, despite their lenient approach to climbing the ranks, have manifested their audacity in the form of well-concealed talents, of which did not escape the one of Kingslayers' best players - MasterAssassin23.

With the dates announced, players from Kingslayers and Bell & Friends were flown into Germany - with a few days to spare for sight-seeing and shopping before the main course. Having agreed to the promotional strings that came with the well-financed event, the practice match was to be hosted in Stuttgart where fans from both clans would not be afraid to empty their wallets for a seat at the arena. While the match was tailored for the prominent clans, they were not alone, as other detachments were also looking for intel on their potential rivals. Among Frangible enthusiasts, many are also present within the city to get a closer look. Booked at the luxurious Astoria, BF and KSL's players were to be accommodated with the greatest amenities the Astoria has to offer - ranging from multinational continental breakfasts to soothing spa facilities.

Having checked into the Astoria, Jon found himself enjoying a warm cup of coffee across from the hotel, where the sleepy shop has yet to wake up from its deep slumber before dawn. Crossing his legs with a slanted look about his tense shoulders, the man took his time to reel back from the long flight. Surely, the others were still asleep where he was not, per the old habits that refused to die even after years of him trying to rid himself of it. The cold, damp wind turned his hair, shaping to its likings - a wayfaring traveller with weighted solace that resided within his jaded pair of amber optics. Yet, where his peers would turn to the mechanical fibers of the future to catch a glimpse of the past, Jon embraced the grayscaled parchments between his firm hands. It was a wonder that such an obsolete relic such as newspapers refused to die, as much as he refused to give up his old habits. As he processed the printed words, his mind resided upon that of the upcoming match between KSL and BF. It was odd to think that he would meet MasterAssassin23 in the flesh, of whom he respected as the pride of their own community and a formidable foe.

Taking a deep breath, the young gamer's eyes were cast upon the winding road. So far from home, yet the cold Europe breeze was just as effective to keep his nerves in check. Despite his nonchalant disposition, Pradeep was not a stranger to anxiety, particularly so when it comes to proving himself in the field. Carrying the warmth of his loving family and enthusiastic compatriots with him, Pradeep understood what this upcoming match between BF and KSL meant. Despite their distance in GDR, the memories of their tooth-and-nail battle seemed as if it was a yesterday's deed. Even now, the mere thought of facing the Rakshasi again sent chills down his spine. A devilish gunfighter that did not give a single square of foot. Had it not been for the Rakshasi's deliberated forfeit, Pradeep was not certain that he would have survived that game. For the first time in his gaming career, XBelligerentX was the first to instill such a sense of fear in him. Yet, it irked him, for it felt as if he was being toyed with, despite his victory. Perhaps this time, he would be able to meet the player in the flesh, come to understand them and finally - conjure a plan to defeat them fair and square.

As his mind pondered the various strategies he had been working on, he could not help but lend his concerns to his teammates, of whom he had been training and fighting alongside since his induction into The Kingslayers. Far from an amiable bunch, they were at least cooperative when the situation demanded it though he digressed. Reeling back from his jog, Pradeep took refuge in a nearby shop, where a middle-aged man had also shared the same sentiment, albeit at a different pace of respite. Despite their freshly-shaved countenance, the newspaper in his robust hands betrayed him of his youthful facade. As the shopkeepers tended to their fine blends, Pradeep took a quick glance around before the elder gentleman raised his voice.

"The old man just stepped out. Somethin' about a shipping issue - my German isn't that great. Catch a breath and have a seat, they'll be back before you know it." He offered, as Pradeep nodded with a respectfully gradual shift in his amber gaze.

"Thank you." Taking a closer gander at the man with a gentle southern voice before him, the silence filled the void of the unpopulated corner. Breaking the truce to ease the young man's heavy-minded eyes, the gentleman lifted his eyes from his newspaper. "New in town?"

"Something of the sort. On a trip with my ... " Pradeep pauses to think for a bit. "... associates. You?"

"Well that makes two of us!" The man smiled. "Just a small field trip. Don't let the suit and tie intimidate ya, I'm actually as far from the paperworks as I can be. Where ya from, kid?"

"India."

"Hm. Never been, but I would love to someday. I'm Jon, nice to meet ya!" Bellington smiled, reaching over the table for a handshake.

"Pradeep. Likewise, Mr. Jon." He obliged, causing Jon to erupt into a fit of light laughter. "Jon is fine, kid. I'm not that old, am I?"

The two then get into a light and casual conversation before the shopkeeper finally returned.

"How do you say "tea" in German, Mr. Jon?"

Turning towards the shopkeeper, Jon tried his best to relay the young man's wishes. "Tee, bitte." He pronounced in a deep southern drawl that was sure to break the native speaker's heart. And to deal the killing blow, he would continue with a confident smile on his face. "Donkey shawn."

This earned a light smile from Pradeep, as the American's unassuming sense of humor at his shortcomings was as lighthearted as a calming breeze on a warm summer day. The two sat together for some time, until dawn finally breached the horizon, prompting Jon to take his leave but not before paying for Pradeep's cup of tea. Before the man could decline the generous offer, Jon had already halfway across the streets with his insistence. "I'll see ya when I see ya. Have fun and take care, Pradeep."

Taking in the generous man's words, Pradeep had almost forgotten about his rendezvous with the rest of his team for their meeting. Sifting through his cargo pants to address the vibration coming from his smartphone, the Indian dismissed his alarm and quickly navigated his Mogram messenger as he headed back to the Astoria.

Cyan wasn’t exactly one for traveling. She didn’t like leaving her house even to shop or run errands. But this was a trip to Germany with some expenses paid. It wasn’t all coming out of her pocket. So, she supposed she might as well take Bell and her detachment up on the offer. The girl packed light, as she wasn’t big on heavy travel. All she needed was her laptop, some clothes, toiletries, and maybe some spending money. After all the preparations were made, the girl would get on her flight and fly halfway across the globe to Germany.

She spent an hour upon arriving at the hotel attempting to get the internet connection to be faster than what the hotel’s was. From what she could find online, all hotels had crummy internet speeds. Sighing with defeat, she’d head to a nearby internet cafe and find much more luck there. And only a few blocks away from the hotel. Cyan would engage in a nice balance of work and games. Not only Frangible, but some of her other, less stressful favorites. Though, being the travel day, being jet lagged and tired from the trip, she’d head back to the hotel that night to get some rest.

The next day though, she’d find herself back at the internet cafe doing the same thing as yesterday for a few hours… Soon, her phone would buzz, reminding her of the meeting she had planned with Bell. Nothing serious. Just to put a face to the name she would occasionally play with in game, and the leader of their detachment. Someone she could respect the skill of, but only to a certain degree. While Cyan also did tryhard sometimes and attempt to play the game as best as possible, she still didn’t understand many of those at the top or aspiring to be there. Many of them didn’t seem to play the game for fun anymore. Only for fame, notoriety and money. There were definitely some who found it enjoyable and fun to do it. But the majority, she found, took it much too seriously. Cyan simply played for fun, did goofy tactics and played to be unexpected. To get a response from the enemy team in chat or turn the game in a different direction. She wasn’t trying to be good at the game. Just have fun. Which is partially why she felt as if she was the outlier at this conference.

But what could she do?

She would close her game, shut the laptop, and head to another cafe Bell said he’d be at, which was roughly a ten-minute walk, but Cyan didn’t mind. At least she didn’t have to go to the gym while she was here on her mini vacation. Her heterochromatic eyes scanned the cafe as she entered for what the message had described. A man wearing a suit on the east end of the cafe sitting alone. Wasn’t hard to find. She’d walk over lest her laptop case with a shoulder sling on the table offer him a nod and some words of greeting.

“Hey. Bell, right?”

It was a rhetorical question. She was positive it was him. On the complete opposite end of the spectrum than he was, she wore only a shirt and a large sweater. Definitely not dressed to impress, but instead to sit around all day on a computer. Though what may have been amusing to the man, was the cat theme was kept up even in person with cat ears on her hood, resembling the cat-like avatar in game.

“You can call me Cyan irl. I don't much care for game names here.”

His first time in Germany (on company dime even), and he was holed up in his room rather than out there shooting content.

Oh well, at least the room was comfy...though going by Pradeep's messages, it looked like it'd be longer before he could go enjoy the amenities.

"At least I get benefits," Simon murmured, shifting to a more comfortable position on his bed. He had tossed the sheets off onto the couch, while a power cord served to give him all the outlets he needed for his monitors and displays. Frangible was ostensibly a virtual reality game, but the viewing experience was still best done through proper screens, especially when it came to taking notes. Bell and Friends, their scrims partner this time around, was one of those teams that allowed anyone to join for the purposes of gold-panning: picking out and raising those nuggets of gold plucked from the silt and soil. Meant that most of their players were heavy pubs players though. Highly individualistic with a propensity for aggressive play, though in most cases, Belligerent served as the glue that kept BF from being a joke in competitive. No point in digging too deep either way though. He had his hands occupied with research on the seasonal updates present.

Vehicles were the significant one here, and Simon had already compiled usage possibilities from gameplay videos in both amateur and competitive play. It changed up movement routes through maps by a fair amount, and he had gone on to mark various 'jump' points on more urban settings that would be otherwise impossible without a vehicle. Would make for a good highlight reel too, if he could share a bike with L1NEWEAVER and do some backflips while the man does his sniping bullshit. Changed up dynamics for more open-field maps too though. Perhaps he'd change to a sniper in those scenarios, play overwatch on vehicles. Or maybe it'd be better just to pre-emptively destroy them, in consideration to how a slower mid-to-long range fight generally benefited them? Plenty to think about, plenty to take notes on, plenty to memorize.

But nothing new in the end.

He drained the last dregs of coffee in the hotel-provided mug, rolled over and off the bed, before padding to the washroom to freshen up. And of course, Simon couldn't help but smile.

He really was liking how he looked these days.

And with that, it was off to Room 15, to meet with the team and plan out how much they wanted to roll over the BFs.

frankly, Evan wasn’t sure how he managed to get too this point with bell and friends.. he didn’t think he was that good at frangible, and yet here he was.. in Germany for a practice match with another rather popular detachment, it certainly beat his day job frankly. Booking the whole family trip on such short notice was a bit of a headache but Evan managed it, he did have to get his wife and kids their Own hotel en all, but with extra time on their Hand being here it meant they could take a look around the country that would be very nice.

The jet lag wasn’t too much of a problem for him he’d been flown out to meeting before annoying as it could be “in person is better for company security“ was all that he was told on the matter so it really couldn’t be helped, least he was used to it. Spending the first few hours… just flaked out on an actual kinda comfy hotel bed. “Right then guess I’ll be meeting the others face to face hmm should be interesting" he'd muse to himself, finally getting up decided he'd go take a look at the Spa it did seem nice. so that's exactly where he was headed.

Drrttt… drrtttt…
“Where are you??”

Jia's gaze flicked to the notification on her phone, its screen casting a soft glow against the dimly lit hotel restaurant. With a casual grace, she raised the porcelain cup to her lips, taking a slow, deliberate sip of the rich, dark brew. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee enveloped her, its bold scent mingling with the subtle notes of the hotel's elegant ambiance. As the coffee trickled down her throat, a warm wave of alertness surged through her, awakening every sense. She savored the moment, relishing the familiar taste that always managed to soothe her restless mind. Astoria never failed to deliver, including its reputation for excellence extended even to the late-night hours. The 24-hour service was a godsend, especially for an early worm like Jia.

Drrrtt… drrttt…
“Are you fking kidding me?? I paid you already and now you are nowhere to be found?!”

Jia's eyes darted back to her phone, annoyance clearly seen on her face. She set down her coffee cup and picked up the device, her thumbs slid quickly across the screen as she navigated to the banking app. A few deft taps later, she captured a screenshot of the money transfer confirmation and sent it off to the sender. Jia then returned her attention to her coffee, lifting the cup to her lips once more.

Drrttt... drrttt…
“Btch??!! Do you think transferring me back will solve the problem??!! Answer my call!!!!!”

Jia took her phone, clicking her tongue in irritation before dialing a number she had planted to memory. The phone emitted several dialing sounds before it was answered. "Hey," she began, her tone sharp, "He keeps bothering me. Do something about it, will ya? I want to block him, but I'm also curious about what mockery he will send me next."

The voice on the other end of the call remained calm, as if accustomed to such requests. Jia continued, "I've already repaid his money, with a little extra as compensation. The trial is in two hours, you know what to do." There was a brief pause as Jia listened to the other person's response.

"Me?" Jia chuckled, casting a quick glance around her before responding to the question. "I'm in Stuttgart." A loud voice could be heard exclaiming "GERMANY???!!!" before Jia abruptly ended the call, a playful smile dancing on her lips as she took another sip of her coffee.

Jia had a knack for landing in the middle of controversy, and this case was no different. It was classified, delicate, and morally murky. Her client, though technically in the wrong, had the means to make it disappear. For Jia, right and wrong were often drowned out by the clinking of coins. Yet, when the victim pleaded for justice, something stirred in her. A twinge of empathy, perhaps, a reminder of the family she had left behind. At the same time, there was an info that KSL would have a friendly match with BF in Germany. So without a second thought, she packed her bags and boarded the scheduled flight, leaving the case—and her client—in the rearview mirror. She trusted her team to handle the fallout, even if it meant her client would try to sue her for abandoning ship. Go ahead, sue me, she thought, a smirk tugging at the corner of her lips. She knew, deep down, that victory was already hers to claim.

So here she sat, nestled in a corner of Astoria with her phone buzzing incessantly since last night. Jia finally took a moment to indulge in the breakfast that had been patiently waiting—a soft, sweet bread that failed to satisfy her palate. She regretted not choosing the English platter instead. Setting the half-eaten bread aside, Jia reached for her phone, scrolling through the notifications before casually wiping her mouth with a napkin.

Drrtt… drrtt… drrrtt… drrrrttt..
Another round of buzzing from her phone interrupted the calm of the morning, four messages in quick succession. Jia let out an audible groan, but her annoyance quickly dissipated when she saw the sender, MasterAssassin23. A soft laugh escaped her lips as she shook her head in amusement, "Meeting at 5 AM… should I say overly diligent or overly excited?"

Jia rose from her seat, tucking her phone into her pocket as she made her way to the cashier. She purchased four coffees to go, knowing that everyone would likely need a boost to match MasterAssassin23's enthusiasm. If anyone chose not to take the coffee, Jia was more than ready to enjoy her second cup of coffee.

"Alright boys, think that'll be it for today. Thanks for the supas, and just as a reminder, ECHO's got scrims coming up soon. Gonna try to stream those as long as management doesn't bitch me out for it. Until next time, stay salty, scrubs. OtsuGremmy!"

Nadia slumped back in her chair as she turned her face tracking off, reaching across her desk to grab her can of energy drink and take a swig. Her sleep schedule had been ass ever since she graduated high school, so why not stream degen hours? It lined up with American viewers and some of her equally as fucked up European viewers anyway. It was close enough to 6 AM that she'd eat breakfast in a bit, but first...wasn't there something today?

The blonde opened up her computer's calendar app, briefly looking over to the current date and...oh, right. Public scrims between Kingslayers and Bell & Friends. So a complete shitstomp in KSL's favor unless CODEMagia carried super hard. Well, that'd be interesting watching, anyway. Probably not worth co-streaming over, but she'd watch it anyway. Wasn't like her audience was here for actual gameplay analysis. That said, it'd be a waste of time to not get at least something out of the experience.

Nadia tabbed over to her chat app, checking to see if she'd missed anything important while streaming. From the looks of it, not really. Sure, over to her fireteam chat, then. Loch was probably still asleep, considering she was in a similar enough timezone and was a normie with a job, but 2Tap and Note, being on the opposite ends of the world from each other, both should've been on still at this hour.

Trading one cafe for another, Jon pondered on what the gang would do before the match in a few days. Given their GDR, it was logical to conclude that they would not receive as much attention compared to Echo Gaming. But with Kingslayer's involvement, Jon was sure that even the other detachments within the top twenties were curious about Ignis's intiative to include B&F. While Bell tried to make sense of the situation that Hoffmann had put them in, in the end, the trip was about getting B&F together for a relaxing trip. Fundamentally different in their approach, Jon believed in his team. Even then, he could not help but become consumed by the thought of an ulterior motive underlying Ignis's proposition to mutually "market" their detachments. Having perused countless newspaper for clues, Jon could only conclude that Ignis had their eyes on someone in B&F. After all, despite their combined kill-death ratio, there were many prominent talents within B&F that chose not to go full-pro. Eventually, he broke away from his thoughts, as a young soul approached him with a flair of warmth. Judging by their trendy but simple apparatus with feline features, accompanied by the laptop case slung over their shoulder, Jon assumed their initiatives to which was backed immediately by their greetings.

"Good morning!" He replied, with a slightly tingling sensation washing over his index finger, of which was hovering over the side of the table with great discipline. There was something about getting his gamertag being called out in public that often triggered his shivers - almost out of fear that they had found out more than what he was permitting them to see. It was not the first time B&F got together for a field trip, as Evans often accompanied B&F with his family cheering him on - something Jon cherished and aspired to be. Even then, never once did he let it slip past his control. Perhaps it was common for someone his age. This time, they had a couple more to join them, some newer than others. As much an estranged reunion as it was for someone to finally meet their virtualized companions in the flesh.

"In that case, you can call me Jon." The man smiled, recounting their contract's in-game name that juxtaposed Cyan's resemblance to her in-game avatar.

"I guess this is the first time we met in real-life. You don't look that different from your avatar. Should make headcounts easier for me." Adding the joke with an innocent chuckle, Jon squared away his thoughts of their recent deal with Ignis. "By the way, how was your flight?" He continued, sliding across the table a small plate of wafers.

The accountant, donning their wrinkled camisole and disheveled hair, had managed to drag themselves out of bed. Reeking of bourbons and bad choices, the woman procured things along her path, before stepping out of the cold shower with a completely different facade. The once-decrepit hag had magically transformed into a functional member of the corporate world within twenty minutes. Finally picking up their phone, they quickly got back at their acquaintance, of whom was curiously still awake. A brazen smile ran across the businesswoman's face, but did not last long, as she began to scurry about the room for her keys.

The last thing she remembered was letting off some steam in Frangible, accompanied by cursing and sobbing. Even now, she could not exactly recall what had happened. All she knew was that she had unlocked a new blueprint for her primary. She let her thoughts ran by her, pondering about KSL and BF, as they were both an unlikely pair for scrims. If anything, she had expected KSL to go after ECHO, given their proximity in GDR and that of MonsterZ's trending popularity on MoGram. For the time being, even Baishe86 had gone silent about the entire thing. Though Grem did raise a good point in their text, thought Sharon. Perhaps they could get a more direct answer simply by watching the game.

As she neared the living room, she finally remembered what she was doing last night, having found a bunch of papers filled with doodles scattered about the room. Terrain movement paths and other stats in the past public streams that she jotted down the night before about a particular player that peaked her interests - XBelligerentX. There was something about the way they played that caught her attention. While she was far from a perfect team player, she was indeed a studious person when it came to numbers regardless of whether or not it would benefit the detachment. Her intrigues corresponded to her hunch, and perhaps suspicions, as it coincided with Ignis and Liberty's arrangements for the upcoming practice match. All that remained in her investigation was one particular Dropzone stream where XBelligerentX was the last person to face the winner of that game - MasterAssassin23. But that would have to wait, as she continued to navigate the room in search of her keys to get to work.

"Where'd ye go, wee shite..." She mumbled to herself, tossing aside a couch cushion.

The man in his bed started, weary eyes shot wide, glancing about the hotel room mired in a pale darkness. Sven palmed the tiredness from his eyes, already craving the bitter taste of coffee. The nightmare had disturbed his rest. But without it, the Norwegian code-scrubber could've easily slept the day away in the bed provided by the organisation. He rose from the soft sheets, stretching past his lengthy stature, fingers combing through blond locks, quickly donning a loose t-shirt and track pants. He doused the redness of his face away in chilled water, losing himself in the ocean of idle thoughts, eyes absently gazing at their somber reflection. "Faen..." Sven muttered, dragging the towel off the hanger. It felt strange being away from Norway, the distance was not great and Sven is no stranger to German lands—having visited several times on university-arranged trips—but this was different in a way that Sven couldn't describe. He couldn't blame jet-lag either, a strange discomfort that settled in him.

He opened a window, allowing the fresh wind entry into his room, knifing against his smooth skin with a soft, welcoming coldness. Feeling the disquiet drift away with the breeze's warm groaning, replaced by a smile that split his pale, youthful features. Just as the outside grazed him, Sven soon ducked back into the now-shallow darkness of his room. The top panel of his laptop swung open, its screen casting a thin sheet of light against Sven, the computer starting automatically.

Sven began sifting through his limited-feed, pushing down the tab of a cold, laminated can with a finger. The sudden hiss was accompanied by a warmth, Sven unbothered continued to hold the instant coffee. The aroma of its artificial brew overpowered the room's scentless air for a moment before it subsided. He busied himself with his usual work; forum posting the latest guide to busting Rig in half with a cheeky spot underwater, staring at lines of code wondering how the absolute hell did it get this way, playing a quick match of an abandonware RTS game long deserted by wider audiences, occasionally reading through direct messages, and enjoying the bitter sting on his palate from the coffee.

His phone clicks awake, four message notifications play across the rectangular screen, pallid sapphire eyes dragging to read the last message. He thumbed a message back.

Omw soon. // Gettin' snacks.

Not for the first time, Sven gave silent thanks that his phone wasn't set to loud. He got up, shutting his laptop closed with a subtle click. Throwing on a black jacket, the software engineer would descend the stairs of the hotel, rounding the corner outside to make a speedy purchase of snacks. He hadn't known what his teammates would prefer so settled on a gamut of flavour-profiles from sweet to spicy to sour and else. The safest option he reasoned, along with bottles of water and soft drinks — not even bothering to glance at the alcohol section.

The paper bags hung loosely off his wrist, laptop in the crook of his other arm. He made it to the door of room 15, cracking his neck side to side before entering. "Hallo, my friends."

His arms outstretched from his sides as though he invited every occupant for a large hug. His voice was deep and brass, colorfully tinged by his Norwegian accent, complimenting his immense size. A voice fit for an ancient viking, rather than the chair-bound profession of a software engineer. He went to the nearest table, carefully setting down, unpacking the bags with food and refreshments. "How's Germany treating you? Good, ja?"

He gestured to Amaya Jin with his chin. "J-Xi! Have I ever told you guys how I first met her? She hunted my arse down on my own server like a cat chasing its tail." He spoke through a widening smile. "Had the whole server watching." He splayed his fingers and rotating his wrist in a broad stroke.

Lexa strode out of the comfy bathroom at the hotel, her hands moving in a blur as she dried her hair with the super soft towel provided. She let out a sigh and chucked the towel on the bed, this hotel sure beat most of the other places she stayed, especially in Germany, her post run shower actually felt relaxing rather than a rapid rush before the next thing. Dressing in her customary green T-shirt and jeans took only a moment before she started bustling around the room to put it to right; first the towel and her running gear was hung up in the bathroom, then she moved on to making the bed before moving her bag back next to the dresser and making sure all of the clothes were laid out neatly. Lexa glanced down at her phone and nodded to herself in confirmation, 05:55, just enough time to grab a paper and pick me up from a kiosk before she was supposed to meet with the rest of the detachment. Checking the room one last time Lexa grabbed a scrap of paper off the desk and waterproof jacket off the peg before headed out, making sure to shut the scrap of paper in the door.

It took a surprising amount of searching to find a news kiosk that was open at this time in the morning, the one that she did eventually found was manned by a young man clapping his hands together to try and keep blood flowing and generally looking like he would like to be anywhere else at this time in the morning. "Könnte ich bitte eine Kopie von Taz bekommen? Und ein Redbull?" Lexa's voice was soft, carrying only traces of a Berlin accent, as she spoke she fished around in her wallet grabbing a few coins out. The man grabbed the redbull out of the fridge quickly before exchanging it for the coins "Schönen Tag" he spoke, voice croaking after a long silence. "Danke. Schönen Tag".

Lexa walked clear of the stall before breaking into the can and chugging it down, she tried not to feed her caffeine addiction too much when she was out and about but she had a feeling that dealing with people in this meeting might require it. Disposing of the can she checked her phone again, 06:25, "говно" she swore under her breath before tucking the paper under her arm and setting off for the cafe at a brisk walk.

Lexa had warmed up one her walk over and so had barely gotten through the door of the cafe before she shed her jacket, hanging it off her fingers down her back. She gave the cafe a quick scan, though it was barely needed. This early in the morning there was only one table that had people sat at it, the fact that one of the people was young with a cat eared hoodie made it even more obvious. Lexa briefly considered grabbing something to eat first but decided that making a good first impression was more important, she made her way over to the back table before stopping behind one of the free chairs. "
Hi guys, good to meet you in real life." Lexa's voice held a slight hint of a brooklyn accent but retained the softness from earlier. She hung her jacket on the back of the chair and placed the paper on the table ."I'm Angelex but here its Lexa. Do either of you fancy something for breakfast?" She spoke with a smile ash she leaned slightly over the seat but didn't sit down, looking expectantly at the other two.

Könnte ich bitte eine Kopie von Taz bekommen? Und ein Redbull? - Could I please get a copy of Taz? And a Redbull?
Schönen Tag - Have a nice day
Danke. Schönen Tag - Thank you. Have a nice day
говно - Shit

"Why's it always the small ones that try to fight?" The dingy bathroom light buzzed to life with the flick of a switch, it's clinical white incandescence casting the small room in a sickly glow as it seeped into the rest of the apartment through the open door, biting back at the inky darkness. Rhys looked up at his reflection in the mirror, the deadened grimace and slight sagging of his shoulders as he slouched over the sink making it painfully obvious that today had been a long day. A very long day.

A quick twist of the shiny silver handle sent a spurting stream of warm water spewing into the washbasin, it's flow stuttering and staggered. With a sigh and a roll of his eyes, he slammed his fist onto the tap—two times for good luck—until the sputtering water flowed smooth and steady, responding to the abuse like an old workhorse responds to the lash. That is, it got back to work pretty damn quick.

With the money his family had, things like faulty faucets really shouldn't have been a problem. But Rhys, always the independent one, fancied himself as somewhat of an anti-prodigal son. He didn't need the family's money when he could earn it himself. Nor did he need a working sink. Or a fridge that kept things cool, or a window with a view of something other than the building next to him, or an apartment with more than 400 square feet of space.

But damn was it tempting to break his self-imposed rules and use just a bit of his family's cash.

With a splash to dispel the notion, crystalline water turned a ruby tinge, it's color staining the pure-white porcelain ever so slightly salmon as it swirled down the drain. After a quick rub down with a nearby hand towel, Rhys looked up at himself in the mirror again. The blood was gone from under his nose, no longer a crusted crimson patch in the peach fuzz above his lip, but it's coppery scent still lingered at the back of his throat with each breath. A tentative hand found its way to the bridge of his nose, earning a dull throb that radiated through his face as the tender flesh was prodded. But despite the pain, a triumphant laugh and a small smile still pulled at the corner of his lips all the same. "Heh. She couldn't hit for shit, though. Didn't even break it." he mused aloud, leaning in closer to take a better look at his bruised visage, the black-and-blue extending from his nose to just under his mismatched eyes. It wasn't really much of a fight, especially compared to some of the others he'd been in before, but the cheap shot certainly didn't make him any prettier. "Fuck… but now I kinda look like that dude who was scrounging for the last scrap of fent-laced bath salts down at the mall yesterday."

Rhys ran his tongue along the front of his teeth, cleaning up the remaining blood caked to his incisors before spitting it into the sink and watching it spiral away in the whirlpool. The salty metallic tang lingered on his taste buds even after he swished with water in a failed attempt to remove the final traces of red from between his pearly whites. "Nothing a good brush and a floss won't solve... I think. Floss probably cleans up bloodstains on teeth, right? Do I even have floss? I—"

Halfway through reaching for the cupboard, Rhys' stain removal ruminations were halted by the harsh buzz of his phone vibrating on the back of the hard porcelain toilet. Three messages in quick succession were enough to send two of the three crumpled bills that rested on the phone's glassy surface plunging into the cold and unforgiving toilet water below. And before his hand could snatch up the last of the bloodied bills, a final text a few seconds later ensured that it too would join it's comrades in a watery grave. The perfect punctuation to what had been a long day. A very long day.

Too tired to react much at this point, Rhys simply picked his phone up and scanned the notifications, his eyes drifting over the unmistakable red and yellow usernames that identified the tag-teaming culprits who just sank his day's bounty. It was the gaming gremlin herself who fired the first shots, with the deathblow delivered by none other than Loch. "Classic blue-on-blue from these two." he murmured, fingers gliding across the screen to fire a volley of texts back.

Ryuuko didn't mind. She really didn't mind at all, She was away from college for... "Buisness" Purposes, Obviously her just seen her online friend group in real life for some time. Yeah she was with her group in Germany for a practice match with another popular group and obviously, Ryuuko was slightly looking forward for it. Besides the flight, which was partially laggy or so she heard as she was asleep the whole flight due to her tired from her night gaming before the day of boarding the plane. Ryuuko's impression on Germany? Well Germany had it's perks for it's landmarks and locations, Leving well her impressed by it. By the time of getting to her hotel, She was keyly not really impressed but nonetheless glad at being in a Hotel while in Germanyeven if it was something different from her life in japan as the first thing she did was fall in the bed and sleep.

By that following Morning in her Hotel, She woke up got dressed in a black hoodie with some sort of Shonen character on it (Naruto) and sweatpants. As she grabbed her room key and other very Important items as headed straight for a coffee shop for espresso as the first priority was getting some caffeine in her system to wake her up, Which is the reason behind her coffee addiction now. Once making a quick run to a coffee shop and getting her usual Iced Latte with double the sugar. She soon made a walk from the Coffee shop while scrolling through her phone as she looked around for the Cafe for a moment before actually managing to find it as she managed to find three people at a table, since the Cafe hadn't have many people in that group, Including a person having a cat eared hoodie which reminded her of a familiar cat-eared character.

So Quite reluctantly, She approached the group without saying anything... and guess what she did. She took a very loud sip of her coffee to catch their attention, before speaking. "Konichiwa... Name's Ryuuko." Ryuuko's voice obviously sounded tired with her Japanese Accent apparent. She didn't care about First Impressions Obviously, But at least this may had caught their attention, as she grabbed a seat and stared at them.

Standing at the window of her living room, Calla spent her ten minute break from the webcast looking outside. Though it was night in the Big Apple, the city lights were dancing with life and shined brightly into the apartment. There were ants in place of people. Blurry blobs in place of cars. She was too far up to hear any honking or angry pedestrians yell, but she knew there was some kind of chaos happening from the way the small shadows zigged and zagged with no sense of harmony.

Her thoughts brought a faint smile to her face as memories of a happier time filled her mind. Back when she and him used to create stories for the strangers they observed.

The corners of her lips drooped when she forced herself to stop, a feeling of nausea filling the empty pit of her stomach. Chest tightening, she let out a slow, shaky breath, and her body released whatever pent up sorrow she'd collected over the last few days.

There was no point in thinking about someone that probably wasn't thinking about her. He probably hated her for his stupid, incomprehensible reasons, and she hated herself for how miserable that made her feel.

If only she were like her best friend, Eileen, then maybe she wouldn't be so sad. But it wasn't that easy. She didn't have Eileen's ability to simply let go of things, especially when they made such an emotional impact. A part of her dared to say she loved her ex-boyfriend, but like most good things in the world, it was all too good to be true.

Nothing was easy. Calla knew that, yet there she was ruminating on why it was so easy for the man to accuse her of something she wasn't capable of doing.

Thankfully, she didn't need to be depressing for much longer. Eileen returned from the kitchen, the sound of a crinkling chip bag snapping her out of the foggy daze.

"Ready?" Eileen asked. "You okay?"

The blonde studied her for a second, and suddenly Calla felt like she was a small animal being studied behind a wall of glass. Which was funny in hindsight, considering Eileen was a few inches shorter than her and was famous for her "hamster cheeks" whenever she ate while live streaming.

"Yeah. Let's get back to it." Calla nodded, grabbing her HOST helmet and putting it over her head. She let her body fall back comfortably onto the couch as her surroundings changed from a cozy apartment to a virtual podcast room.

"Anndd welcome back guys." Eileen half-sang, her avatar doing a little spin to emphasis her rejuvenated state. "For this last half, we're gonna talk about some Frangible. BF and KSL are in Germany as we speak."

"I hope you all enjoyed the show! Until next time!"

Her smile shined as she waved to the massive crowd in the stadium, many of whom traveled far and wide to see her perform. Their cheers were near deafening, but she cherished every moment of it. After a few more moments, Sora made her exit off stage, greeted by the producers of her ongoing world tour. While they talked to her, she pulled out her phone, scrolling through the mountain of notifications she missed while performing. While most of them were meaningless, there was a group of messages that immediately caught her attention. But she didn't have time to reply just yet. She'd do it once she got back to the hotel.

After what felt like hours of planning for the journey to her next tour stop, Sora finally retreated to the hotel she and the staff were staying at. Los Angeles was just the fourth city on the extensive list of destinations. Next stop was New York City. While she was just going to fly out ahead, all the gear would take at least two days to arrive. Good thing the concert wasn't until next week. Her eyes glanced over to where her luggage was stored in the corner of the room. All her essentials were packed away already for the flight tomorrow, except for her ARKS. Which reminded her. There were messages in her detachment chat.

Sora pulled her phone out and scrolled through. Looks like Gremmy wanted to get together to watch a public scrim between KSL and B&F. Though, she wasn't sure that it was today. The following messages from other detachment members confirmed her theory. Her fingers danced on the keyboard as she wrote her reply.

Note @note_ 22:30
whenever it is, ill be around.
i have some downtime before my next performance.
which, btw, yall should watch.

Outside of ECHO, it was a well-kept secret that Sora had a big presence in Frangible. Obviously, it was hard to keep the fact a K-Pop star was joining the detatchment from other members. But it was easy to keep their mouths shut about it. The things you could achieve with money and legally-binding documents.

Sora swiped away from Mogram, opening her calendar to see exactly when her flight was.

Oh, not till then huh? I got some time to play.

Setting the phone aside on the beside table, she got up and headed for the shower. She could always just sleep on the plane if she ended up staying up late.

The coffee inside the cup swayed gently as Jia walked back to her room, the aroma wafting up, both enticing and rich. She retrieved her ARKS before making her way down the hall to Room 15, where the rest of KSL awaited. A quick, confident knock on the door preceded its opening, revealing MasterAssassin, already fresh and alert like the morning dew despite the early hour, "Morning, Master…" Jia greeted him with a playful bow, a smile dancing on her lips. She then raised coffee in her hand and jiggled it slowly. "I got coffee, special delivery."

Sliding into the room after MasterAssassin let her in, Jia took note that she wasn't the first to arrive, as 1LD had already made himself comfortable. She greeted him with a quick wave, indicating he could have the coffee before placing it carefully on the table. Shrugging off her long blazer, she draped it over the back of a chair, revealing a sleeveless top underneath. Perhaps a less formal attire would have been more suitable, but old habits died hard. Settling into a chair, she began to make herself comfortable, only to be interrupted by another knock at the door, signaling the arrival of yet another member.

It was L1NEWEAVER, he entered the room with an air of warmth, his arms outstretched for a big hug. Jia chuckled at his jovial demeanor before rising from her seat to share in the embrace, exchanging pleasantries with the rest of the group, “Good to see you.”

Returning to her feet, Jia opted not to go back to her seat, instead crossing her arms and leaning casually against the nearest wall, "Germany... Germany... I've always liked Germany. So this trip has been nothing short of delightful."

Jia laughed softly as L1NE reminisced about their first encounter, reflecting on how their relationship which started from her blind ambitiousness to hunt him down had evolved into comrades... even friends. Ever since discovering L1NE's blog, Jia harbored a burning desire to track him down online, driven by a mix of curiosity to uncover any gaps in his tricks and a genuine interest in witnessing his gaming prowess firsthand.

"Who would've thought that we would even end up in the same squad and detachment?" She mused with a wry smile tugging at her lips, "Now I know that the tail can indeed slap back the cat quite hard."

Glancing around the room, Jia took note of the assembled members, MasterAssassin, 1LD, and L1NE were already present. The only one missing was Oboi, "Looks like it's just Oboi who's not here yet," a mischievous glint in her eyes, "Care to make a bet? Is he still sleeping or not? My money's on sleeping," she said as her competitive spirit sparkled to life.

Jia withdrew 20 euros from her pocket, placing it on the table beside the array of coffee and snacks. With a rhythmic tap, she drummed her fingers on the money before settling back to her position. Whether she won or lost, the thrill of making a random guess was always invigorating.

on his way to the Spa, his phone lit up Evan blinked as he read the message facepalming. "aaah darn it.. cafe wasn't it.. welp spa day later" he said with a small chuckle too himself, as he shook his head. as he spun around heading in the opposite direction and instead heading to the cafe Bell, had mentioned he'd be at and honestly, it had slipped his mind, maybe his age was catching up to him?
nah course not.. it clearly couldn't, regardless Evan would head off towards the correct cafe, arriving not too long after to see both Bell and likely another one of their members.. stabby-tabby perhaps? the outfit made him think it was her. there was another girl there as well whom he couldn't exactly put an in-game appearance too there actual appearance though not everyone tried to mimic their actual selves in-game. unfortunately being too late to overhear any of the introductions, stepping over to the group he waved softly toward them all. "sorry about being late got distracted with the hotel and checking out the Spa, you know how it is, always a lot harder to get anything booked with these things going on" He'd say with a small chuckle, not really elaborating on the last part.

"anyway nice too meet you all probably know me as Geico, actual names Evan" he'd say with a short nod. "nice to meet you all in the flesh" he'd say his comment directly mostly towards the two girls rather the Bel.

Connor was used to waking up early, he had a morning routine to help keep him in shape for his fights. But he was used to waking up early in Ireland, not Germany, which is an hour ahead of his home country. So he was peacefully sound asleep when his phone went off. At first, he slept through it, then it dinged again and he woke up. Then he ignored it, trying to get that last hour of sleep, but then it dinged again, and he relented. Rolling over and groggily reaching for his phone plugged into it's charger, he missed the first couple of times before he fumbled it into his hand and bumbled through the password input. MasterAssassin, edgiest name he's ever heard, was pinging them all for a team meeting.

Giving a groan of defeat, knowing he had to go to this one, he savors the warmth of his rented bed for one final minute before forcing himself into motion. He got dressed in loose fitting sweats and grabbed a breakfast bar and his ARK from his pack before leaving his assigned room to trudge on down to room 15. "Why do we have to do this so feckin' early." He proclaimed as he opened the door to the room and showed himself in. Noticing the cup of coffee sitting untouched on the table, he helps himself to it, as well as the various snacks. Snacking was always on the menu for Connor, regardless of what that snack might be.

"So," he said around a mouthful of some mystery food, "what you want that can't wait 'til we had some proper sleep."

"Kurwa!" She cursed to herself with a groan, rubbing her temples. "I fucked up the date?!" By two days? God damn it. How the hell had she lost track of time that badly?!

Oh, right. Streamer brain. It was easy to lose track of time when the only thing you really had to meet was your streaming schedule. Which was optimized for complete degen hours. Shit, maybe going to college would really sort out her schedule.

...Eh, she'd come back to that question in another year or two. Wasn't like it was important right now, she was making good money. With a sigh, Nadia started typing a few responses away.

With that done, Nadia pulled herself out of her chair and flopped right on into the bed next to her. She'd deal with food once she woke up, probably in the early afternoon or something like that.

The room was not much different from when he had arrived, with his personal effects stowed away as his habit permitted. Aside from apparels in his backpack, and that of his ARKS in a duffel bag, Pradeep preferred to travel light. Leaving the door unlocked, Pradeep kept his eyes on the company's laptop, of which was littered with stats from BF's latest engagements worldwide.

Nodding at the entry of the mountain of a man, L1NEWEAVER's account of their past encounter with J-Xiong brought about an uneasy feeling for Pradeep, of whom was also reminiscing about Belligerent. Perhaps every pro gamer needed a drive to keep them going forward. For him, Belligerent served more than just an excuse for the grind - perhaps to the point of obsession. With the early meeting called forth, he had to make sure that they were prepared for the match with what many would consider a minor detachment. Even so, if Ignis was willing to conjure a scrim of this magnitude, Pradeep was sure that everyone within KSL had their own thoughts on the matter. Reeling back to reality, the young man unfurled his hand.

"A memory that seemed distant, but I do remember that stream. Hope you've upped your game, old man." He jested, before lifting the coffee cup from the holder. Raising it slightly with a fixed gaze on Jia as thanks, he took a sip from it, while typing away at the laptop. "I prefer chai, but I appreciate the thought. Throw me your MoMon QR, I'll pay you back. You too, Weaver." He offered, pointing at his phone on the table.

With 1LD finally entering the fray, Pradeep finalized his laptop work and turned towards Jia. "I'll take that action. Against." He said, placing twenty euros on the table. "Probably out in the hall right about now."

It did not take long for the subject of their discussion to come tumbling in and helping himself to the coffee and snacks. Following his declaration, Pradeep raised his brows at Jia.

"Certainly not asleep, but definitely annoyed that I called us here early. Should we call it an even-split?"

Clapping his hands together, Pradeep got up from his seat and quickly turned the laptop's screen towards the group that had finally assembled at his behest.

"I'm sure you are all aware of the deal struck by Ignis with Liberty Trust. Even Baishe did not object, despite BF's GDR. There are alot of points that we cannot afford to overlook, given the pressing time. I'm confident we can handle it just like every other detachments we managed to blow out of the water in the past. But I've got a feeling that this is more than just a publicity match." Turning away slowly to change the screen to a familiar MoGram profile. "We'll start with a comprehensive review of their leader - Belligerent. Despite being the leading sponsor of BF, we still do not know what they look like. But the greatest cause of concern is how well they can remain in the low-tiers, despite their abilities."

The laptop flashes forward to Belligerent's personal performance solo and within team, where a discrepancy in K/D ratio was quickly pointed out by Pradeep. Belligerent, according to the stats on screen, seems to show a spike in performance outside of their detachment-augmented gameplays. "They're pretty smart, quickmatches in between rounds with their team and specifically choosing disadvantageous matches to drop their K/D. The biggest tell? Those quickmatches were all against Tier-1 players. But even so, their K/D never drops below 0.9."

While it seemed like Pradeep had plenty of data to back up his claim, his fixation on Belligerent's performance, as opposed to BF as a whole, made it seemed as if it was a personal matter, instead of a detachment effort. For the short briefing, it was filled with irreconcilable obsession with BF's leader. His tone was clear - he wanted to wipe Belligerent from the board and nothing else mattered to him more.

"Don't let the streams fool you. They can easily handle a regular Tier-2 team ... based on my personal experience." A brief pause followed, as Pradeep recounted their most memorable match against each other with a focused look in his eyes. "I'm open to suggestions before we dive into a match with randoms."

"Sven, always so thoughtful!"

Simon clasped hands with the larger Norwegian man, his own frame practically fragile compared to the bodybuilding hobbyist, before settling into the room himself. He didn't partake in Jia's little gamble though, not when there was no content to be mined from a wager with a shark. Instead, the young streamer occupied himself with the snacks as well, enjoying a bit of peace before...yup, there it was.

Pradeep's feud with Belligerent, while overexaggerated on forums and Reddit, was nevertheless a real thing for someone who avoided the sniper's gaze long enough to then just commit suicide. There was probably some pride involved, probably plenty of salt too, but it was all understandable. He emptied what remained inside snack-sized bag of chips into his mouth, puckering his lips at the salt-and-vinegar flavor, before washing it down with a half-bottle of water. Then came his tablet, which he placed in the middle of the table.

"Yeah, had the time to review the other Best Friends who we'll be matching with soon," he said, flicking through slides and stats before settling upon a girl in a lolita dress, freeze-framed in the moment she popped up from cover to unload a clip. "CODEMagia's probably the one to look out the most for. She's got a higher KD than the King himself, and is weirdly good at keeping her head when mid-range shootouts are basically her thing. 7000 kills on the Storm 4 too, so that should tell you just how much she shoots per round. Very aggressive playstyle overall, especially with Jammers..."

The next image was a split-screen, capturing two girls with autumn-colored hair: orange and auburn. "Stabby-Tabby and Angelex can be presumed to coordinate in support of CODE. Neither really have any KDs worth nothing, but Stabby's been in the game for a long while now, and recordings show both strong map knowledge and mobility, accompanied by a playstyle that leans towards ambushing fireteams in close quarters from unexpected angles. I usually keep an eye on her games for learning purposes myself; she screws around a bunch, but that's mostly because she can afford to. Angelex works more as a decoy kinda person. She'll likely be the one to deploy CODE's jammers for those highlight reels, and in pubs at least, she has a good record of playing mind games and flirting with the spacing."

Finally, it settled upon Geico-35. "Last one here's a camper. Not much to note, being a camper, but he should be an easy pick-up for our Master Assassin. The perfectly 1 KD is kinda interesting though." Simon scratched his chin. "Might be another 'screws around in a weird way' kinda person, which would explain why the Best Friends picked him up. Anyhow, looking at their team in terms of composition, I think that Belligerent'll form a core with CODE, while the others remain relatively on the wings. We could score a pretty good numbers advantage early on just by stretching out their lines; Stabby and Angelex are fast, but they aren't bullet-fast. The new patch introducing vehicles to most maps would have to be considered though; anything that I can think of involving them would be something that Stabby would know of as well. TAGs would be useful, considering Jammers don't affect them, alongside Ballistic Shields."

Then again, he considered who he was in the room with: two snipers, an infamous lone wolf, and a capital G Gamer.

"Well, I think a 1-2-1 formation, with a focus on indepedent action where the pair draws attention for the snipers to take advantage of could work out as a general gameplan..." Simon turned towards Jia, a teasing smile on his features. "Though that'll depend on you playing nice on the day of, Jia."

Just as the bet was placed, the room's door swung open to reveal Connor, entering with his characteristic roughness. Pradeep's suggestion to split the bet was met with a swift response from Jia. She raised her hand and gestured decisively, moving her forefinger left and right. "You win, take it all. That's the point of gambling, win or lose, no in-between." With a deft sleight of hand, she slipped the 20 euros into one of the pockets of Pradeep's cargo pants. She didn’t forget to add, "...and the coffee's on me. Unless, of course, you want to pay me back tenfold."

With everyone assembled, the KSL meeting finally began. Jia settled into a chair next to the table, relaxing her back and crossing her legs in anticipation of a lengthy discussion. She couldn't help but regret not buying the second cup of coffee for herself. Pradeep took the lead, opening the discussion with the theory he had developed, supported by data he had gathered. His presentation was detailed, easily giving the impression of intelligence and depth, but it couldn’t entirely erase the noticeable hint of obsession in his words, especially when mentioning BF's leader, Belligerent.

Following Pradeep's lead, Simon took the floor with a thorough review of the BF members, his observations keen and his explanations crystal clear. Jia was impressed by Simon's attention to detail and his ability to dissect every aspect of the BF squad. He effortlessly checked off every item on Jia's mental checklist regarding the BF members. She silently nodded along as Simon continued, finding herself in agreement with most of his statement. Strategy had never been Jia's main interest in gaming as she had enough in her work. She viewed gaming as a realm of enjoyment rather than a battleground of wits. Instead of adding to the tactical discussion, she typically followed the lead of her squad... or not... depended on her mood.

When Simon playfully teased her, Jia responded with a hearty chuckle, crossing her arms in mock defiance. "Well, I am always nice, mind you...," she quipped, "But I admit, sometimes I feel a little bit playful."

Turning her gaze to the rest of her squad, Jia continued, "Don’t worry, I'll be a good little girl for this... mostly," With a quick wink, Jia ended her sentences.

It did not take long for others to began arriving on scene. Bell has long wanted to include Stabby-Tabby in their outings, though without much success. Now that everyone was in Germany, there was no better opportunity to truly induct them into the team. Perhaps it was his wishful thinking that got the better of the man, but Bell had hoped that Stabby-Tabby would come to see the detachment as her own family. A rowdy and non-conventional family. Though he speculated that it would take some time for the skilled but reckless player to adapt herself to this new environment that came with the detachment.

But she was not the only one, as Angelex and CODEMagia quickly joined them. Nodding first at Lexa with a smile, Bell quickly got up to greet the woman with an offer to fill their stomachs. "Pleasure to meet y'all. We haven't much to consider for any bites. I'll go with you." Turning over at Ryuuko and Evans, Bell raised his eyebrows. "What would y'all like?" He then offered to procure their breakfast of choice with Lexa, giving Ryuuko and Evan an opportunity to catch up without having to get up by themselves. Aside from that, he was quite curious about the menu.

Returning from the counter with their orders on the way, Bell finally brought his attention to Evan. "How are the wife and kids? I recommend taking a walk through the rooftop garden at night. There's a pretty gazebo on the west side where you can take pictures. They've got all kinds of lights set up." He said to Evan, knowing very well just how distracted one can be when on a trip with families. Though, with that thought in mind, Bell was still trying to wrap his head around Evan's fortitude to be able to juggle work and family. But he had faith in the lizardman.

Taking a quick glance at his phone, Bell took notice of Foxglove's on-going stream, where he caught their detachment's name brought up. Sighing lightly with an intrigued smile, Bell turned his phone around to reveal the ongoing stream.

"Would you take a look at that, we're famous." Turning back to examine his phonescreen, Bell shrugged. "It's not everyday we get mentioned by a verified Frangible partner."

Nine Lives. The name struck a cord with the man, but he did his best to withdraw his sentiments. It has been some time since he came anywhere close to that detachment. A story for another time, he figured, especially now that they were on the verge of facing KSL in the open.

"So, just gotta make sure we still got it, even with the jetlags and all, I'm thinking of a random match this morning with y'all to get our bearings. We can have a whole day off tomorrow for y'all to explore Stuttgart a bit before the real deal. Remember, the primary objective of this trip is to have fun." Bell said, bringing his eyes towards the ceiling in thought. Snapping his fingers promptly, Bell continued. "How about a walk down the Konigstrasse in the afternoon? Great for pictures. What do y'all think?"

The meeting continued on, opening with Pradeep's tactics-analysis of the Bell & Co's match-history, player performances, and his expectations for them. The Norwegian programmer leaned forward on the table, his muscular arms supporting his head with sapphire eyes keen on their discussion. He wondered about these newcomers, though they appeared to be one of the more casual detachments, their perseverance and playstyle delineates them into credible threats, both for KSL and the other pros, their strategic selection of matches to blunt their K/D is only one factor among many for them. Still, Sven spotted Pradeep's fixation, obsession-streaked words. Sven leaned back in his chair, draping a loose arm over the backrest. The thought of their MasterAssassin being too fixated on Belligerent and exacting whatever vendetta filled L1neweaver with doubt. But, it resolved itself with a self-assurance that Pradeep wouldn't allow it to go that far.

Then came Simon's brilliant and detailed analysis of BF's squad. Sven was impressed, even though he expected nothing less from former ASMR streamer, going so far as to also suggest a general plan on how to route and defeat them.

He twisted a cap loosely, loosing a sharp hiss as the brown, bubbling liquid surged to the top before Sven turned the cap shut. Then again to let out the last of the carbonation gas. He put the rim of the bottle to his lips, a smile pushing up the corners of his mouth as his teammates bantered and teased. "Or J-Xi and I could've also gone on the offensive, as a pair. I'm pretty flexible when it comes to my loadout, make it a wildcard, ja. Sure, I could be," Sven began, outstretching his arm fully and gesturing to a distant point in the room. "straddling the rim of the maps, picking off targets as they come into view. But" He tapped two fingers on the wooden table before them. "I could be there in the trenches with you, they wouldn't expect that at first."

The laptop's top panel swung wide. Sven's thumb clicked the spacebar twice before swinging the laptop round. The screen, with its soft blue light casting a faint glow, displayed maps with distinct red lines littered about them, describing routes most often used by players at high-level skills formulated by data, occasionally honeycombed with yellow circles with a single stroke leading to Sven's comments on the viability, benefits and disadvantages of them. He rolled his wrist, fingers cracking, relieving tension from his digits. He tapped a key, displaying a new set of pictures. Unlike the previous, these were almost entirely yellow. "So, as you're familiar with, the last ones was the most common, and popular, pathing that pros around our level used, I feel like I don't need to mention it. Now these are what I've been cooking up in my spare time when I'm not finding exploits. Here, for example, on Collapse — Instead of taking the column A1 way, we could instead circle around A3 and potentially get a flank off at the same time." Sven spoke, finger tracing the yellow line across the screen without looking. "We could scrim them and see how they fare, I'm not above being wrong, but they should definitely be viable."
