  Basic Combat Testing
  
  Players will be given one character each. To check how the proposed system works, they will be using the given characters to get a feel on how the basic mechanics should work. In this test run, we will be tackling three topics - the ATB Gauge, the Turns/Phases, and basic combat.​
• These characters are just placeholders - they have no backstory, nor no personality. Just blank slates. Feel free to give them names.

• Undesirable rumors have spread about a certain mercantile route - Test Area 1. Word has it, that caravans are unable to pass through the route due to the presence of fearsome monsters, one which the folk have called "goblins".
  
  Thus, in a desperate attempt to clear the minds of the people of these rumors, the local pub has placed bounty quest - one which involves the slaying of these so-called goblins on Test Area 1.
  
  A few select adventurers have decided to take on the job.
  
  
  Upon arriving at the destination - the adventurers are met by the creatures called "goblins." In the blink of an eye, a battle ensues between the two groups.

“It is I! Sir Edwin Archebald Caspian Hector Von Kleine, legendary slayer of green slimes and lord of a small village somewhere That is very appealing! I have come in answer of this goblin-slaying mission and shall deal with them in the most fantastical way possible! En gardé foul beasts!” Archebald yells as he sprints into the small horde of cute beasts

Dumbledore has suddenly felt feelings for Sir Edwin Archebald Caspian Hector Von Kleine
and joined him in battle. He shouts so majestically it would turn Gandalf deadly jealous.
"Sir Edwin Archebald Caspian Hector Von Kleine, I shall fight at your side! You've my staff!"
These particular goblins, however fearsome, was actually adorably cute. With his
wondrously crafted staff, he casts Arcane Missile twice, two sparking missiles going
separate ways honing onto two different goblins.

A large leg came out of nowhere and smashed nearby the battle field. "Eeek, I am so scared!" The leg was shivering in fear and anticipation. Frozen in fear, the leg did absolutely nothing to solve the problem. It just stood there tapping the ground with its foot.

Hero, the self-declared protagonist of the world, suddenly makes his entrance by leaping down from a tree onto a goblin below. He rolls away and swings his comically-oversized blade at another enemy. "Have no fear, the hero is here!"

• The brave adventurer, who would be far more easily to be called as Sir Edwin, took the attention of the goblins, not because he charged towards them, but rather because he was boisterous, and his incredibly long moniker - which apparently didn't just annoy them, but also infuriated them.
  
  As the small horde of goblins charged towards him, some of them were struck by magic, others were cut by a humongous blade. Still, they pressed onward, never letting their wounds get in their way. When they've reached Sir Edwin, they did not hesitate to attack him with their pointy weapons, some made of steel, some made of wood. Regardless, they all did some damage to the man.

“Hello comrades! It is I! The great Sir Edwin Archebald Caspian Hector Von Kleine, legendary slayer of green slimes and lord of a small village somewhere that’s very appealing! I see you have come to aid me in this mission! Together we shall defeat these ferocious enemies and claim their spoils as our rewards! Onward! To battle my noble team of the defenders of the peace!" Sir Edwin called out in what he believed to be an inspirational tone to his newly-found allies.

“Gah! Those fiends, how dare they attack I, Sir Edwin Archebald Caspian Hector Von Kleine, legendary slayer of green slimes and lord of a small village somewhere that’s very appealing with their small sticks! I have been wounded for life! OH WOE IS ME!” Archebald yells out as the enemy’s small swords hit him in areas between his feet and waist.
“But fear not allies! I, Sir Edwin Archebald Caspian Hector Von Kleine, legendary slayer of green slimes and lord of a small village somewhere that’s very particularly appealing will survive this battle and prove victorious! For my name is not Sir Edwin Archebald Caspian Hector Von Kleine, legendary slayer of green slimes and lord of a small village somewhere that’s very appealing!” Sir Edwin yells before launching his own attacks on the poor small goblin that happened to be in front of him.

Dumbledore throws an upset tantrum for Sir Edwin Archebald Caspian Hector Von Kleine
who looks significantly wounded. He laments so loudly it would give Snape second thoughts.
"Sir Edwin Archebald Caspian Hector Von Kleine, or whatever your name is! BE careful!"

He bellows at the gang of goblins. How dare they! With his elder staff he won in a fight,
Dumbledore casts Arcane Missile twice, two sparking missiles crackling fireworks shooting
separate ways honing onto two different goblins. “Nitwit! Blubber! Oddment! Tweak!”

"First these lowly monsters ignore me, and now these heathens KS!" Many tears run down Hero's face at the injustice of it all. But a hero's duty is to save, even if he is saving KSing heathens from weak goblins. Hero leaps past the two goblins being attacked by the magic caster and lands between two others. His oversized sword cleaves the air before coming back to rest against his back. "Rejoice, you will meet your end by the blade of a hero."

"I AM SORRY!" The leg ascended into the clouds above preparing for an awestrucking attack. A large shadow covered the goblins as an object was dropped upon them. A small object just bounced harmlessly off of one of the goblins. The leg proceeded to come down. Soon it glowed green as it started to heal one of the temporary allies.

  In a short, but rough battle, the band of adventurers achieve victory - defeating the goblins and driving them off the mercantile route! Their return back to the pub was welcomed with glory, applause, and most importantly, a big old sack filled with gil. As they have fulfilled their end of the bargain, so has the quest givers - they all are worthy of receiving such a generous amount.
