  General Description: A tall woman with refined regal features and athletic build. The most striking feature of her appearance is her darkened yet piercing eyes, intense and likened to those of a predator against the backdrop of an otherwise stone face. Despite dressing in high-quality clothing it is often worn in a haphazard and casual manner, in a bizarre mix of high and low effort. The same goes for her hair messy and cut roughly by a blade rather than a stylist.
  Description of Attire/Style: Large overcoats/suit jackets and dress shirts are a common trend in her attire, always lose fitting and being of noticeable quality. She is drawn towards simple formal styles in black and white, though tends to also hold golden trims and accessories on these outfits.

  Personality:
  "Man should fight for the joy of it. To live, to eat, to breed— lesser beasts snap and howl at one another for this. Only man has the wisdom and the clarity to embrace violence for its own sake."
  
  Being similar to her ruling relations, Demetria can come across as arrogant, savage, and overall ruthless. But unlike her constituents, she doesn't appear to have any noble motive behind her actions, nor does she care about the ruling. Having been raised as the heir apparent, she previously disregarded the importance of human life but nor did she care for her job of governing provinces, still she moved through it all like going through the motions. Demetria is in fact a deeply nihilistic, girl who is lonely and possibly fatalistic with no regard for life including his own. She can be quite hypocritical at times, as their detachment from outwardly displaying emotions, does not stop them from impacting her actions causing confusion she quickly attempts to logically justify to herself. An example would be something that could be seen as selfless, merciful or even kind quickly being stated to be anything but. Finally, she seems to hold little value in the material outside of the tools most useful to her.
  
  "Would you be "happier" had I a "good reason"? If my motives met with your approval, would you no longer resent the outcome? If so, then perhaps a beast's skin would suit you better."
  
  She attempts to put logic above all else and tends to speak bluntly and truthfully, keeping to her words without compromise regardless of future developments. She holds the belief that ideals such as duty, honour, and morality are mere tools of convenience and that justice is but a means to an end, using the World government's conquests as proof. She does not care about leading others, stating it's each individual's own responsibility to determine their purpose in life. Ultimately she remains pragmatic to a fault in how she goes about her actions, being very no-nonsense and literal.

  Since Demetria never found a challenge in battle upon her island, she treated her conquered subjects as prey to hunt and partakes in battles for the thrill. What Demetria loathes most is an opponent who does not overestimate themselves and those who flee or otherwise do not participate in the battle. However, after her first defeat at the hands of the great swordsman, Demetria gains a greater sense of purpose, seeing something in those brief moments that stirred her from their otherwise depressive life. Having felt little value in the world, Demetria finally found a kindred spirit in the one who could finally beat her. Her newly forged motivation to face the Swordsman again drives her to remove all obstacles and distractions, her birthright of the throne being among them. This drove her to find one of the few things she could truly enjoy in the world and so went out to seek it leaving her past behind.

  Abilities: A great swordswoman carrying three blades within a unique barrel-like sheath, Mistral, Sundowner and Catatumbo. She utilizes her overwhelming physical ability to employ a style self-titled "Approaching Storm". Each blade has been purpose-made by her island's skilled smiths and can be ejected with tremendous force on the draw through the use of gunpowder charges. The main barrel holster rotates as it buids charge and can be manually overcharged as needed.
  

  • Vacuum Slice: While their blade is sheathed they will draw their focus in for a single powerful slice in an instant before returning to the blade. The force of the strike often tears up the ground and projects the blow far further than the sword should reach by air pressure alone.
    • Vacuum Tri-Slice: A advanced form of the technique is performed with each of the three blades she carries. Effectively appears as if each slice falls simultaneously from alternate directions making evasion or blocking incredibly difficult.
  • Ferostorm Eye: Swinging their blade with enough force to create a wind vortex that forcefully pulls opponents into the eye of the storm from range. The vortex continues for a short while before dying down and can even be inverted by performing the technique in reverse.
    • Ferostorm Air: A variation of their Vortex that instead operates vertically, throwing opponents into the air, or forcefully pulling them down.
  • Aerial Rave: Taking to the air with powerful leaps, Demetria will propel themselves up further by leaping from enemy targets or loose debris or even allowing her to change direction as needed while attacking.
  • Occluded Front: Launching a blade at high speed in a spinning motion to create a minute vortex slicing repeatedly like a buzzsaw, The blade can return after a short while, be set on a remarked path or be grabbed by Demetria herself for a slash.
    • Cyclogenesis: The user sends all three blades out in a spinning motion before dashing to retrieve each, in turn, to go for intense slashes from different angles.
  • Storm Blades: Their unique sheath system appears to hold components that allow blades to be charged for various effects that can augment her attacks. The system currently holds freezing and burning edges at opposing sides with an electrically charged one in the middle.

  Equipment:
  

  • Retrofitted MK2 Elemental Infusion Launcher: Originally designed as a piece of siege-mounted equipment due to its weight, The device has since been drastically altered to serve as a holster for Demetria's blades. Unique thermal sinks draw in all available heat to the central chamber resulting a drastic heat, while also creating an arctic-like cold at the opposing end, this movement of temperatures through the central chamber creates a high amount of static discharge which is how the three elemental effects is created. The base of each chamber is fitted with a charge that can propel the contents out at great force, as well as all three being able to be rotated at speed to either draw the next blade without issue, or to even randomize which is drawn.
  • Garland Forged Alloy Blades: Three blades forged from differing materials to make each more suited to channelling different elements, the blades themselves are far denser than a typical blade resulting in a higher weight intending to be wielded with two hands.

  Backstory:
  A royal family member of the Island empire of Garland, a technologically advanced nation that maintained strict caste systems and medieval ruling structure. An only child despite repeated attempts, it was no secret that her father had wished for a male heir, and his numerous wives prior to her mother had been unable to give him such. Demetria was brought up being taught all that an imperial heir was expected to learn, including book studies with tutors as well as combat. From birth, she was to be moulded into exactly what her father desired of them with an intense training regime and other far more unethical processes. She spent little time with her father Demos and her mother Carosa sickened and died shortly after he was born. Demos and Demetria often went months without seeing each other, and to the youth, her tutors and servants were little more than automatons. A bright but joyless child, she had little time or inclination for innocence or playfulness and instead lived going through the motions finding little joy in the path but walking it all the same.
  
  One of the tutors of note was the famed (EDIT BLUE) sea swordsman who tutored Demetria as part of her education, from whom she learned her initial blade technique, and with it the first spark of something that could be called joy in her life. The truth would eventually be revealed though that the swordsman actually sought the life of her father, as their family was being held hostage to ensure he would train Demetria. The swordsman eventually attempted to kill her father and turn the girl, but fate would not sway her leaving to the man losing his sword arm at her hand, but strangely being allowed to flee contrary to the believed death he would receive at Demetrias Hands. Her studies would continue at her own pace, and may or may have been connected to her 4 former prospective fiances and their disappearances.
  
  Her life would finally change when the spark was fully ignited following crossing paths with "That Man", and her first complete defeat, an event that drove her to leave to the seas in search of what she was missing and to chase the same feeling that defeat brought once more. The rush of a fight to her limits, the nature of that mysterious man's smile throughout and how he left without a word afterwards.
