(Feedback Requested) What do you think of a vampire who doesn't drink blood?

Adam Thomas is a kind, gentle, soft-spoken young vampire, who was turned against his will by Damien, his strict and abusive master. He refuses to feed, because of the experience, plus it grosses him out. He believes that life is sacred, and he's doing by not drinking.
What do you guys think?

There are lot of good vampire in friction that are human blood avoidance. Usually the point of interest, is the struggle between their vampire nature and their desire to be a decent person

Adam's fine with not drinking blood, but he can't get any sustenance from anything else, so he always looks emaciated.

Yes, that same for most vampire. Usually it's represented as vampire weaken or even dieing without substances. As blood is basically their food but ultimately he just character so go crazy
