I thought that Webber's exposure to science would cause him to try and follow in papa's footsteps, with... different results. Webber would confuse science with magic, combining the two in one messy conglomeration, and tries to make papa Wilson proud by creating prestihatitators and meat effigies. This path would definitely shape Webber's personality.
