I suppose I’m just interested in what kinds of role plays people are into! It’ll help me set up my own later!

I started with nation-building RPs back in the day. I like it because you can use it as a vehicle for grand world building RPs or personal, character driven narratives as well.

I started with Psychological, survival horrors, suspense, dark fantasy and thrillers. It’s always been my bread and butter, but it is severely lacking in rpn. While I love me a lighthearted rp as a side dish I always like one of my rps to have at least the potential to be dark. I wind up joining a lot of supers rps even though I low key hate em just to get some possibility. For me the best rp is when you have the ordinary human and put them out of their element, or if they do have powers for those powers to heavily reflect their personality. Getting deep into an analysis of the character is way fun for me.

I usually like historical dramas, but honestly I'll settle for pretty much anything with lots of drama. I love the dark and gritty too so the more of that the better. It's fun when characters suffer, especially when said suffering allows them to grow in some way.

From my experiences nation RP often lacks the character driven narratives as it tends to be focused heavily on entire nations. I guess there could be a little bit of character driven storyline too, though, between the leaders of different countries.

Historical, fantasy, historical fantasy, mythological, political, intrigue, bromance/buddy comedy, romance, frenemies, comedy, action, fandom, character-driven.

Oh and I do like a bit of science fiction now and again.
