History of Servant: Plagued by constant nightmares from a young age, they would delve further into the unknown and mystery in an attempt to understand what they saw. Constantly throwing themselves into the writing and research at every fear they viewed and coming closer and closer to a full connection to the source of their troubles, this decent into superstitions drawing them ever closer to madness. It is through this that the nightmares became gradually clearer, even to the point of seeing and hearing them as dark whispers during their waking hours, something that would eventually become known to them as a connection with one of the Outer Gods. It was only the lessons of their grandfather Whipple and their writing that allowed them to hold onto their humanity and instead of being consumed by the madness face it to consume it instead, channeling it into their works. This, unfortunately, would result in their physical form not being capable of adjusting to such an experience and while the mind proved strong the body would not, yet rather than give up, they would die human rather than something else.

Personality: April is hard-headed. Stubborn. Uncompromising at times and downright anti-social most of the time. She has low self-confidence but little reason to see much worth in those around her. Years of living in poverty and on the street taught her it was necessary for her to behave in her own best interest at all times, even if it meant doing something morally questionable. Despite her rough exterior, she has some semblance of a reasonable person underneath. Given time to adjust to a new setting and learn the general atmosphere of a group, she can fit in fairly well, if still somewhat standoffish. She does have a tendency to hoard things, especially money or food, she will usually refuse to share food and shamelessly take any handout, even if it has little to no apparent value.

On the bright side, April has an insatiable appetite for knowledge of any kind and is a quick learner. She has no trouble asking for explanations or help, so long as doing so won't require any payment on her part. As such, she is often more clever then people catch on to. She does however suffer from a mild form of hypervigilance, treating most every room she enters as a possible trap or ambush. She never had any major run ins with the law and acts remarkably polite to anyone in a position of authority, typically in the hopes of gaining favors or enough reputation to avoid trouble down the road.


History: Born into poverty from a family struggling to make ends meet before they had a child, April Hoffman was seen as a costly accident by her family. Her father and mother were both low ranking mages with little formal education in the magical world and even less on the mundane side. They lived in whatever temporary accommodation the government could dole out, if the government could give any. Reared in the refuse of London, her early childhood was spent jumping school to school as her parents moved constantly looking for temporary work. She often had little time or chance to make friends or become accustomed to any form of social interaction outside of the constant arguing of her parents. Had it not been for her stubborn and bull heeded personality, she would have fallen into the same trap as her parents, accepting her place in the world as sub-optimal due to her turbulent upbringing.

Compelled to not fall into the same rut her parents had, April instead focused on learning as much as she could about the magic of the world. Stealing any scrap of paper that even mentioned something beyond the ordinary, spying on mages that her family knew for any knowledge they weren't willing to part with, and paying what little money she had (mostly stolen from her parents) to pay off mages for lessons in anything they were willing to teach her. This inevitably led her to being called the Pauper Mage along with a spat with her family that finally saw her separated from what she had seen as an anchor in her life. She had only stayed with them up to this point as she was willing to prop herself up as much as she could off of them. With them now out of her life, she pushed herself even further into her goals of being a mage.

As she finally reached adulthood, she applied to the Clocktower to be recognized as a formal student there. She was denied due to a mixture of lack of background, low skills, and financial security. As devastating a blow as it was to her pride, the wound was that much worse by the acknowledgement of what she had spent to get that far and only be rejected. She had no family or friends, no worthwhile skills and a subpar education in the modern world. She was certain that her life was going to be dead end when she was offered a second chance during the her meeting with officials from the Clocktower. Kerberos was willing to take her on despite how untested she was. They offered her training in magecraft, food, money, even some social status. She couldn't think of any logical reason to say no.


Mage Abilities: Basic rune spells (gandr, ehwaz and berkana) along with material transmutation (fortification and alteration). Her elemental affinity is water, though has no formal training in using her affinity as a form of mgecraft.


Non-magical skills: April is a competent cook and has a bevy of survival skills focused on living on the streets of modern London. She has a natural aptitude for playing musical instruments, though she is untrained and can't read sheet music. She is incredibly adept at sewing and patching clothes.

  Fenrir is not to be taken lightly. Confident in his own strength, Fenrir relishes the thought of proving his strength to those that dare question it and grows quite arrogant when he proves his doubters wrong. However that is not to say that he is foolish enough to believe that Strength conquers all. Quick witted and suspicious, Fenrir can sense when things are not as they seem, like when the Aesir's first presented him with the third Fetter;Gleipnir. Despite this, Fenrir had already broken their first two fetters Leyding and Dromi causing his pride and confidence to overlook his concerns regarding Gleipnir. Despite falling for their taunts, Fenrir will not do so without some form of compensation, believing that the other party should put themselves at risk if he is expected to do the same. Such was the case with Tyr, who had his right hand bitten off. Not only does Fenrir fall victim to the Sin of pride, he also succumbs to the sin of wrath as shown when he rampaged through the world during Ragnarok. Though it is believed that Fenrir killed Odin during the events of Ragnarok, he is not inherently evil, instead the victim of unfortunate circumstances. He was feared and assumed to be inherently evil due to being the son of the Norse god Loki and the giantess Angerboda thus rather then it being through his own actions, It was instead prophecy as well as lineage that labelled him a threat and was the reason why he was bounded. Feared for what he was assumed to be and tricked into being bound, it was only natural that Fenrir would soon become the monster they had feared him to be, one whose penchant for rage and vengeance would come at the cost of Odin's Life.

  Brief History:
  Fenrir, also called Fenrisúlfr, monstrous wolf of Norse mythology. He was the son of the demoniac god Loki and a giantess, Angerboda. Fearing Fenrir’s strength and knowing that only evil could be expected of him, the gods bound him with a magical chain made of the sound of a cat’s footsteps, the beard of a woman, the breath of fish, and other occult elements. When the chain was placed upon him, Fenrir bit off the hand of the god Tyr. He was gagged with a sword and was destined to lie bound to a rock until the Ragnarök (Doomsday), when he will break his bonds and fall upon the gods. According to one version of the myth, Fenrir will devour the sun, and in the Ragnarök he will fight against the chief god Odin and swallow him. Odin’s son Vidar will avenge his father, stabbing the wolf to the heart according to one account and tearing his jaws asunder according to another. Fenrir figures prominently in Norwegian and Icelandic poetry of the 10th and 11th centuries, and the poets speak apprehensively of the day when he will break loose.   ~Fighting Style~
  Fenrir is a close range combatant that relies heavily on his fist (while in human form). A brawler that cares little for the rules and honour in a fight, he fights with a bestial ferocity that relies purely on instincts. Like the monster that he is feared to be, Fenrir will use his claws to gauge out his foes and tear them limb from limb if given the opportunity to do so. A fearsome apex predator, it is foolish to stand before him without adequate restraints.
  
  As if to laugh in the face of the gods, Fenrir can use the remnants of Leyding and Dromi as chain weapons against his foes; the two bindings created to restrain him now a weapon against those that created it.

  Authority of the Beast (A)
  Authority of the Beast (獣の権能, Kemono no Ken'nō?, alt. "Authority of Beasts") is an Anti-Humanity Class Skill of the Beast class. Fenrir gains a damage boost against Heroic Spirits, Divine Spirits, and all things born of "the Mother's Womb."
  
  Independent Manifestation (B)
  Independent Manifestation (単独顕現, Tandoku Kengen?) is a special Skill that permits unsupported manifestation into reality, without necessity of energy cost or of summoning by a Master; effectively, the Skill serves as an enhanced version of Independent Action. This skill signifies a confirmed existence. Those with this skill have resistance to instant death and time-control attacks. The Skill is normally restricted to the Beast class. At Rank B, this Skill is a declaration of the holder’s presence across all of space-time, and thereby grants immunity against existential threats by way of time paradox or the instantaneous imposition of death.
  
  Avenger (C)
  Avenger (復讐者, Fukushū-sha?) is a Class Skill normally associated with the Avenger class, though in this instance it has been given to Fenrir due to his past. This skill represents the state of an Avenger as one that gathers people's hatreds and grudges onto oneself. It is easier for one to accumulate hatred and resentment. The rate of mana generation becomes higher when receiving damage. Fenrir gains this skill due to being hated and mistreated by the Aesir and thus bounded due to what they believed him to become. Seen as an embodiment of evil due to his lineage, he was already classed as a threat despite having done nothing to warrant such ill views. This hatred towards him had led to Fenrir attaining a level of strength so vast that he was unable to be bound forever.

  Animal Attributes(A)
  Originally a Wolf of Legend, Fenrir retains the instincts of an animal granting him heightened senses associated with his species as well as their natural predatory attributes such as silent footsteps and a natural sixth sense when it comes to danger. He also has naturally sharp nails and canines similar to what a wolf would have. In the rare event that other Wolves or canines are nearby, Fenrir can force them into servitude.
  
  Chain Mastery (B)
  Call it Irony or simply twisted fate, Fenrir upon being summoned by the Holy Grail attains the ability to conjure chains and wield them with great efficiency for a variety of purposes. The chains created take on the properties of the two fetters that failed to bind him, Leyding and Dromi and are required to be broken before he can break Gleipnir.

  Wolf God's Piercing Cry (A+)
  A frighteningly loud howl in the form of a Sonic blast that is capable of sending cars flying backwards, shattering eardrums and causing mini-quakes if directed at the ground. Hero's that lack any skill in Bravery or were not depicted as having accomplished monstrous feats against beasts will suffer a temporary decreased in their Strength and Luck Parameter
  
  Gluttony of the Wolf King (A)
  Some Legends surrounding Fenrir state that after breaking free from Gleipnir he rampaged throughout the world with his bottom jaw dragging on the ground and his top jaw reaching into the heavens, devouring anything and everything in his path. Gluttony of the Wolf King is an active ability that allows Fenrir to replenish his own mana and energy through the consumption of matter. Inorganic and Organic regardless of their state. I.e. No salmonella from raw chicken.
  
  He who punished even the gods: God Slayer (A++) [Locked]
  An ability granted to those noted to have killed Gods. Fenrir is the claimed killer of Odin during the events of Ragnarok and as one of the most famous gods of Norse Mythos it is only natural that Fenrir's God Slayer ability be ranked highly. As an active skill, standard attacks from Fenrir will radiate an ominous glow and do additional damage to those of Godly origin

  The Fetters that Came Before: Leyding and Dromi
  The first fetter 'Leyding' and the second fetter called Dromi, are both bindings used by the Aesir in an attempt to restrain Fenrir. The remains of the Aesir's unsuccessful attempts remain visible upon Fenrir's limbs as shackles that upon activation create spectral chains of up to 4 meters in length, which Fenrir can wield with great efficiency as weapons using the chains for a variety of purposes.
  
  These two fetters cannot be wielded simultaneously, instead Fenrir can only utilise Leyding at first and upon the breaking of Leyding, is then able to conjure up Dromi. The chains as depicted in legend will break due to Fenrir and nothing else. Upon conjuring of the chains, their durability will begin to diminish on their own, reflecting their inability to actually restrain the beast that is Fenrir. The speed of their deterioration is increased when Fenrir is in combat; the more heated the fight, the quicker they crumble under Fenrir's own strength.
  
  Leyding is a chain of great strength that was used in the Aesir's first attempt at binding Fenrir due to their fear of what they expected him to become. Despite being renowned for its great strength, Leyding was broken with Fenrir's first kick. Due to the breaking of Leyding with great ease, Fenrir's Strength increases from A to A+, reflecting the claim he makes when presented with the second Fetter Dromi. When Leyding is in use, the chains glow an icy blue.
  
  Upon the breaking of Leyding, Fenrir's chains will reappear with a reddish glow and take on the properties of Dromi which was said to be twice as strong as Leyding and one of the strongest chains ever crafted without the aide of dwarven blacksmiths, thus they are pretty much unbreakable; with a few exceptions; one being Fenrir. The rate of deterioration for Dromi is much slower than it is for Leyding, due to being twice as strong though once it does break underneath the strain of Fenrir's strength, his Strength Parameter grows once more, going from A+ to A++.
  Upon Dromi breaking, the individual chain links will be sent flying in all directions causing great damage to the surrounding area.
  
  Once Dromi breaks, Fenrir is free to activate his other Noble Phantasm whenever he so pleases.
  As a representation of where his power levels are, his appearance also changes after each Fetter breaks.
  
  The Wolf among Sheep: Gleipnir's broken restraint
  The third Fetter; Gleipnir, a binding forged by the Dwarven Master Blacksmiths of Niovellir rumoured to be thinner then a silken ribbon yet rumoured to be stronger than any iron chain forged. Legends state that Gleipnir was capable of binding the monstrous wolf when no other method worked. Through the manipulation of the holy grail, Gleipnir has taken the shape of a thin choker wrapped around Fenrir's neck. Gleipnir seals away a large portion of Fenrir's physical abilities, sealing his original form and forcing him to take the guise of a Human being.
  
  Once broken, Fenrir reverts back to his natural form, a giant grey wolf standing at roughly three storey's tall. Fenrir gains a +1 raise to each of his statistical attributes. His strength parameter becomes EX due to the increments from Leyding and Dromi breaking. As the one who kills Odin during Ragnarok, he unlocked the skill 'God Slayer' which increased the damage he deals to divine beings or their descendants. Foretold to devour the sun and the moon, he gains the ability to create a large 'black hole' at his maw, creating a vacuum that consumes anything unfortunate enough to be sucked within.
  
  Gleipnir will gradually repair itself and bind Fenrir into human form once more and in the process restore Dromi and Leyding until they are broken once more and the cycle resumes anew.
  
  

  

  
  That who devours the Sun: Ragnarok's Eternal Darkness
  A Noble Phantasm that can only be activated after Fenrir returns to his normal form as a Monster wolf. 'Ragnarok's Eternal Darkness' is a reality Marble that crystalizes and brings into fruition the consequences of a alternate reality world without the Sun. With Fenrir being prophesized as the one who devours the sun and cast's the world into darkness, Fenrir has the ability to draw in opponents into this alternate realm. Those dragged into this realm are brought to a dark and barren wasteland devoid of light and heat. Bodies of fallen gods and beast's will be visible all around them, replicating the aftermath of the great battle that occurred.
  

  

  
  Two ethereal wolves one third of Fenrir's size will also inhabit this realm, Fenrir's sons Hati and Skoll and will aide their father in combat against those caught and trapped here.
  Prolonged exposure to this cold and dead realm will cause one to succumb to the effects of hypothermia, with their body weakening to the point in which they finally die.
  
  There are only two ways in which to escape the reality Marble. The first is to outright kill Fenrir in combat, a feat that not even the great god Odin could accomplish. This will end the reality Marble. The second is to gather the scattered fragments of Gleipnir and bind Fenrir to the large rock that inhabits the center of this Reality Marble. Once bounded, the reality marble ends and Fenrir returns to the state in which he was originally summoned.​
