If you mean confusing.

It's really not that confusing unless you try to make all of Fate one single universe. Fate is a series of parallel universes each with their own unique systems. If you look at Apocrypha, F/Z and FSN on their own there's really nothing confusing about them at all. Confusion only enters when you treat FGO alongside F/Z, because the two contradict since they're separate systems.

I think that's the biggest issue with most FSN RPs, people mix FSN and FGO and thus confuse themselves.

Huh. Well, since apparently everyone's fucking up the summoning ritual now (I know it's not "everyone". Just humor me.) I'm going to give Shani's summoning an unforeseen quirk too. Which I will reveal in the post I'm typing.

Caster of Light
Fafnir's Lair | The One Eyed Bandit The One Eyed Bandit Ian Temero Ian Temero @DarkSuicune98

Was she alive? A wave of relief washed over Caster's pained expression, as she saw Ava rise from her sleep. However, even after Ava's attempt at words of comfort, Fafnir's stream of tears showed no sign of relent. "I-I thought I g-got you... K-k-killed..." A slur of jumbled words came out of Fafnir's mouth in between sobs and sniffles. "Why does everyone around me..." She burst into another round of tears before she could even finish the sentence. She came to a sudden halt as Ava got up on her feet nonchalantly, and already found herself a meal, chowing down on a pizza at a speed that even Fafnir would be proud of.

She quickly wiped her tears off her face as Ava made the comment about the 'light shows', realizing her spell had likely reacted to a huge mana disturbance. Still clearly upset, Caster crossed her arms and turned to the other direction. "T-that never happened, ok?! Forget about that right now!" Her attention shifted toward the globe, giving it a small glance. Even Caster herself seemed visibly surprised by the fact that the detected disturbance was all the way across the sea?! Were they friend or foe? Had a fight between servants broke out between members of both factions? Did somebody blow their Noble Phantasm?

Well, it was worth a try, Caster thought. It's not like there is any way they could hurt her via communication magic, was there? Caster gave the ring on her finger a quick look, as she began to draw a ring of runes on the ground. They began glowing azure, as a reflective mirror of light appeared in the center of the ring of runes. "Amazing, right? Seidr magic is so convenient, right?" Caster looked into the mirror, looking at the scenery on the other side (or as much as she could make out). It didn't seem like a fight had occurred, was the servant who was responsible for this still near the center of the anomaly?

Shani would likely notice rocks and broken branches rise from the ground, and form a narrow, door-like archway. The empty space in the door-like arch began filling with blue light, as Caster's blurred and shimmering image appeared in the mirror-like construct. "Hello?" Caster attempted to call into the mirror. However, due to the absurd range the spell spanned over, her voice was muffled and somewhat difficult to make out. "Is there a servant somewhere here? Helloooo?"

God knows what made this stupid dragon think it'll work out...

Faffy vs my sanity. Also known as, hilarious. Wait, why am I translating for you?

Same, though it'll be a while before mine comes into play.

Dragon ride coming up soon. :3

Hey, LostHaven LostHaven , you first post for Faf claimed that she was "No taller than 6 feet", which makes her out to be kinda tall, but she's supposed to be a dwarf, right?

So how tall is she supposed to be?

Contact has been made and operation Flirt the Pants Off the Dragon has begun. Which will be awkward since Faffy doesn't even wear pants.

Faffy would have revealed her true name even if Shani called herself Berserker of dark...

Caster is 5'7 in humanoid form. As for race, just assume whatever the hell you want to. Nobody knows wtf she is. Well, she's a dragon but ehhhhhhhh.

: ( y did u change it, Shani calling Fafnir sexy is much more funny...

Vita will never join Shani's harem!
N o n e . w i l l . e s c a p e

It was a little too aggressive for how Shani is supposed to flirt. When they meet in person and she gets a better look at Faffy, then she might upgrade it to sexy.
lol. Sees Faffy is pantsless and gets a huge nosebleed.

Shani's flirting will eventually intimidate into wearing pants...

The thing is, even the the "normal" grail wars, there's really nothing that says only humans are summoned as Servants.

Medusa (first introduced in Fate Stay) is either a monster or a goddess(in fate lore). Herc is demi-god. In apocrypha, we have Frankenstein and Chiron. If monsters of myth like Frankenstein could be summoned, then it's not entirely farfetched to say that magical animals can be summoned as Servants so long as they've got a place in myth/history. The only hard rule I've seen in "normal" grail wars is no gods. But then, there are certain humans that have been 'deitified' so they are pretty much gods to some people and not to others =/

Regarding the rider class...needing a mount does feel like a sort of requirement to me. Like how Sabers generally have swords, Lancers generally have polearms, and Archers generally have bows, and Berserkers are generally heroes that have gone mad at one point in their lives. Riders would generally have mounts. Yet it's not a hard rule in the sense that Archers don't have to have a bow. Throwing swords is a-okay. In the Servant animal case, Rider doesn't have a mount. They themselves are the mount. Looking at it that way it seems a bit more justifiable...because they kind-of have a mount.

My point though is even in "normal" grail wars, the rules for what counts as Servant isn't really clearly laid out (hence my confusion).

Servants can look however they want. Dwarves don't have to be short, elves don't have to be beautiful, gender can be bent, Servants don't have to look anything like how they're supposed to look like in history/myth. History/Myth not being very accurate is Fate thing...and I've long ago given up on why or how a Servant can do something. Look at Medusa. How or why does she wield a chain?
