Fandom Fate/Drifters ooc

Honestly, I felt like Rider was way too op, kinda surprised he got to keep most of his abilities xD.

OPs to match OPs. I made sure to drop the more dangerous abilities.

D!Saber: Uuuuh, so we meet again?
D!Rider: Thy fate is sealed, I art the blade that heralds thine end.
L!Caster: Haha! Fools! You dare challenge me, The Guardian of The House of Gold?! Your arrogance will be your undoing! Bwahaha!
L!Saber: *facepalming* Can we just kill each other already?

Sounds about right.

Anyhow, I've narrowed down Saber of Light's identities to either Hjörþrimul or Skalmöld, the only two Valkyries who have been confirmed to wield swords as a weapon. Based on the shield, it could also be Randgríðr which is much more unlikely as she fits more into Shielder.

I doubt this stupid GM actually paid that much attention to detail, and probably just chose some random valkyrie though!

Saber of Dark is a bit annoying to find, since I don't think there's a dual-wielding hero in Norse Mythology, unless I've missed some gaps in my research, I'm trying to do my Science Assessment at the same time rn. I have a feeling it's Tyr based on your comment that Saber of Dark will hate Rider, though it could just be another hero/character who just hates Rider's guts because of their background. Then, the 'I changed up their history' makes me think Saber is originally something that isn't even humanoid, and you changed it for your own convenience, and the fact that you didn't want to play a furry, which now seems kind of unlikely since an NPC servant is literally a cat.

I feel like the NPC Sabers are the ones with common sense. Rider of Dark and Caster of Light are the two weirdos, both have severe chunnibyou syndrome, it's just that they have the powers to boot.

*whistles*

What makes you think it's a Servant?
Hides pitchfork and torch
Nothing! Nothing about a disgusting, furry-induced bloodlust that makes me want to spill the blood of furries!

Yeah, Wolf was the one who asked me about what Assassin Rider's NP should do, I jokingly suggested an OP effect. I assume it got nerfed, I don't even know how it's supposed to work.

The advantages of knowing a dude irl.

The whole 'talking in Shakespearean' seems kind of amusing...

Jack: Seventh Heaven clad in great words of power! If you hear my call, and submit to reason, then appear before me!
Rider: I hast heard thy summons. I art Rider of Darkness. My blade shall be the vessel that carries thine fate, thy destiny is forevermore entwined with mine, the fee paid for the contract with death.
Jack: Uh, you speak English?
Rider: I am speaking english?
Jack: No, that's Shakespearean. We don't speak that anymore.
Rider: Thy race knows no longer of the foreign tongue?
Jack: No, we don't speak in Shakespearean. Could you translate it to modern English?
Rider: Whips out dictionary out of nowhere, starts skimming through the pages and mumbling Uh, good to meet you, I am Rider, I look forward to working with you from now on?
Jack: Fuck, do I have to deal with this bullshit every time I try to talk to Rider?
Rider: Thy guesses art correct.
Jack: Fuck my life..

I tend to keep unique/interesting abilities and do away with things that are strong just for the sake of strong. Characters can be OP. They just need to be OP within reason. Besides, it's not like I'm above changing my mind if I see abuse.

Funny thing is, I think Shakespearean is after his time.

Blame anything odd on the summoning/grail. That's what I do. Your character forgot something? It's the summoning. Your character decides to randomly spout shakespeare? Must be a product of the grail imparting him strange knowledge that he ended up liking. Rider being a closet shakespeare fan is...odd...but not entirely out of place for a Servant.

Good to know. will do in future

See, I like servants with a few odd personality traits, because it makes interactions between them amusing.

Like, since you know who Rider is, imagine rider, sabers, and Caster all sitting down for a game of Smash, while cursing theor heads off, extreme salt, etc. Or all of them arguing over something you'd never expect to see a dragon, a valkyrie, -insert whatever rider is- and some other hero arguing over. Like pineapples on Pizza.

It's part of the reason I play FGO. I find some parts kind of hilarious.

That would be hilarious to witness

I'll be honest. I'd skip past some of the talking if I could.

I'm a (very) casual player. Still in Okeanos, I think.
I have some servants that can carry you a reasonable distance, I can give you my friend code if ya want.

I'm a casual player too, I only play events for the story, lol. Also Gramps. half the reason I play is Gramps.

lol. I'm not even at where it gets difficult yet (or so my brothers tell me). I'm just lazy and get easily bored.

But I'd love a friend code. The more Servants I can play, the merrier.

Looks away guiltily, and coughs.

Why do you guys keep only talking about those four? Why do they get all the fun? I wanna be involved in the fun quirks! Like I can see Zerker putting a Wii controller through the TV after Caster 3-stocks her... for like the 5th time. Or while everyone's arguing about the pizza she just interrupts, screaming "The fuck is a pineapple?". And everyone shuts up and just stares at her, judging.

Alright. Friend code is 213,136,016 I'm not a whale, and I wasn't lucky enough to pull Merlin or Waver, don't expect too much, lol.

Yeah, the game spikes in difficulty considerably in Camelot. It only gets worse from there. The boss fights in Camelot and thereafter are downright unfair unless you have an op team comp. Here's me trying to go through Babylon with my Vlad III / Jeanne D'arc (or Mash) / Tamamo setup...

I have nothing to be guilty of, because I revealed Caster's abilities anyways! Kill dragon at your own volition!

But yes, 'Zerker can be in the cool kids club only because of my personal bias of her being the best Waifu. They are all playing Super Smash Ultimate and then causes Rider to break his switch controller after Saber, Caster and 'Zerker of Light all gang up on him even though it's a free for all.

Caster would main Corrin or Robin because of the dragon lineage, Rider would main Ridely, Ganon, or Meta-Knight because he an edgy fuck, Saber of Light probably plays Palutena, and I imagine 'Zerker mains Incineroar or something, perhaps Ganon.

Lul. Would also be funny...
'Wait, that's not how Ragnarok even goes! How the fuck does a coat hanger support Mjolnir, who is this oversized Grape that Odin just destroyed, etc etc.'
