Multiple Settings Fantasy/SciFi Partner Search (Active)

Hey everyone, nice to see you all again. I'm on a somewhat decent schedule currently, so I can be on here with some consistency. Thought I'd post a quick thread to hopefully drum up a couple partners and some awesome stories.

• So, I'm looking for a partner that can post decently long replies to my own. 3+ paragraphs is what I'm generally looking for. I post that length, if not more, in majority of my replies.
• Rather patient in terms of speed. Even though I can be on here more often, doesn't always mean I can reply right away. Between work, college, and just general life stuff, replies can be a little slow at times. Of course the same goes for you. So, if you're patient with me, I'm more than happy to be patient with you.
• Open to dark themes. I'm open to darker themes in roleplays. I think the bring depth and 'texture' to a degree in rps. It gets you more invested into both the characters and story in general if it becomes more realistic in that regard. No sugar coating things.

Obviously, this is just the immediate things that pop into my head. Some things can be negotiated with and changed if need be. I ain't super picky, so feel free to suggest stuff to me. Whether it be a craving or a fully fleshed idea. I'm open to hearing it all and hopefully finding something we both think is kick-ass. Feel free to message me with any questions or whatever. I got the next couple days off from work, but I still got class to attend. I should be around for the most part.

hmm.. im pretty game for whatever. I do prefer fantacy/magic type stuff. i don't really care if it's medieval, modern, futuristic or post apocalyptic. As long as i know my parameters, i can generally flesh something out. I've toyed with a lot of ideas on discord rps, which is why i can say that so easily.

Jadedleaf Alright, awesome! I love magic in my RPs, too. Opens up a lot of options in my opinion. I'm gonna head to bed, but I'm gonna think of some general plot ideas/settings that we can build off of if we like them enough. Feel free to do the same and I'll message you tomorrow.

``Right around then, the building cracks and Saya watches as the gap widens. People panic and start going faster as Saya took off her wrist band. She caught some that fell, with Dark Shadows, and help the final few bridge the gap. She was about to jump and continue down as well... but a scream stopped her.
"SOMEONE!! PLEASE!! HEEEEELP!!!"
[Akio is waiting for me.. I'm pregnant.. i shouldn't...] More screams follow and it spurred Saya into action as she reach up with Dark Shadows and used the massive gap to her advantage to climb up rather than run. She dodges the falling debris and finally followed the screams to a pinned teenager. It was actually a former classmate from the hero course! They recognize each other instantly before Saya moved to get the debris off her. She helped Sophie up and as she did she heard an awful sound. Their half of the building was beginning to fall.
Saya's face went pale as they both registered the sound. Not waiting for her classmate to respond she wrapped the female in a shadowy and threw her on the the more stable side and quickly moved to run and jump as the building fell. She managed to grip some random cords and metals and pulls herself further in. At this point, the building was in major risk of collapsing in on itself. There was no way to get down and out of the way in time. "To the roof..."
"wh-what?! we should-"
"Do as i say or die."With that, she started making her way up.. with the reluctant class mate following. As Saya predicted, once they reached the top it began to collapse in on itself. It was rough, but the intermittent falls on top of the rubble was far more desirable than being squished under it all. As the shaking stopped, Saya and the girl lay on their back in disbelief. They were alive. The girl was complaining and whimpering about pain. All Saya said was "That didn't feel good.."
Obviously there were still plenty of risks. After shocks will be imminent, as well as a tsunami as is the case with all earthquakes. Of course, only people who cared enough to read about this sort of thing would know. Thankfully, pro heroes suited for this were already on the case.``

Well, I tried to keep it shorter for discord because they don't always like long replies. But, essentially, there's an earthquake happening at the hospital. Dark Shadows is her quirk. I'm not sure if you've seen my hero academia, but it's essentially a power/mutation.. like.. anime x-men. haha. She plays host to a shadowy bird. It's weaker in the day light, but more docile and easy to control. It's stronger at night but far more volatile. Anyways, I hope you can work with that. :3 i'll be sure to do more since this isn't discord. haha

Hey I'm definitely interested! I have kind of a a busy schedule with work and online classes, so I'm pretty understanding of slow replies. I can usually write 3-5 paragraphs for a response, unfortunately I have no samples because I haven't roleplayed in forever and I'm trying to get back into it to also rekindle my passion for writing. I'd love to do something in a dystopian society, those are my favorite. I'm too new to send you a PM, but if you want you can send me one or we can talk in the forum! Thank you!!

Hi, hi there!

So in the interest of full-disclosure, I'm brand-spankin' new to the site, but a veteran to roleplaying (10+ years). I've actually just recently set out to find a new forum to call home, and while browsing through pages of RP ads, yours was one which piqued my interest (enough so to actually poke my head into RPNation for the first time).

For a quick and dirty low-down on me: Sci-Fi/Fantasy is 100% my jam, my post lengths tend toward the 4+ paragraph mark (or I'll mirror what my partner gives me, unless it's short), I love romance at the heart of every RP and primarily those which play on the themes of action/angst/tragedy (with a healthy dose of the happy fluff as well, but who doesn't love exploring the depths of the human psyche?), I play predominantly female characters, and I'm flexible on posting speed.

I've got a mix of both fleshed-out plots as well as random characters for both sci-fi and fantasy settings, and I'm always more than happy to hash out new plots/characters from scratch as well.

I know I've done a terrible job of keeping this brief, but if you're interested at all, feel free to shoot me a PM!
