Intro: Welcome

TIDINGS, TRAVELER . . .
Roleplay Rules I only roleplay third person in paragraph or novella form. No godmodding or OP characters. Character sheets and face claims are optional but greatly preferred.
Welcome to my search thread! I'm current looking for some stories involving found family themes, exciting adventure quests and maybe even some ole party bonding shenanigans right now. This is a search for 1x1s, but I wouldn't turn down a small group either. If I could find some players who either enjoy playing multiple characters (at least 2 or more characters) or would like to form a party with a small group of players (3 max), that would be wonderful.

Players should be able to write novella style responses (anywhere from 2 to 6 paragraphs is ideal) , be alright with themes that contain mild violence, and should know to avoid OP or god-modding situations both in and out of character. Romance is completely optional, Platonic is always welcome. This thread is split up into sections. The Part One section is a lore section I have for the world if Isakar, which is just a general world building section that can easily be adapted to your needs if needed. The Part Two section is a list of character I can use, which will have a short synopsis and a few general scenarios they could be used in. The Part Three section are full story prompts that I've been dying to do and could be adjust to fit within this fantasy world.

For more housekeeping and out of character info, check out the Part Four section of this thread. Thank you for your interest! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reply to this thread or shoot me a PM!

Part One: Lore

Here you can find the starter lore I have for this world so far. It includes world map, kingdoms, demographics, and guilds. This certainly doesn't have to be set in stone if everyone wants to do their own world-building once the group comes together! But, this should hopefully be a good base for us regardless of how much or how little world building we do.

WHERE . . . Isakar is a medium continent located in the north-western hemisphere. The climate of this region may vary, from harsh cold arctic climates in the far north to temperate regions near its center and mediterranean temperatures near the southern borders. As of the current age, Isakar runs under a feudal government system with six greater houses and four lesser greater houses. There are a scattering of villages, some notable ones include Avaleen, Frey, Elbern and Bonetown. In this current time period, it is uncertain of what lies beyond the Endless Sea. Many believe it to be a flat endless ocean while others have begun to consider exploration.

WHO . . . While Humans are the most abundant to this region of the world, they share the native world space with High Elves, Moon Elves, Wood Elves, Lynxkinn and Fox Folk as well as small populations of Snow Elves and Wolfmen. The Fae were once populous but now only exist in tiny pocket diasporas within the Timberlands and the Otherworlds. Recently, there have been an influx of immigrant peoples from beyond the Endless seas. Such people groups include Orcs, Dwarves, Dark Elves, Sun Elves and Scalesmen. Meanwhile, the Warforged find themselves freed from the control of men and wander in search of purpose.

WHEN . . . The current year is 1495 AP (After the Phoenix). It is the wanning of the 2nd Dark Age and the early start of a new Renaissance. The fall of the Caessian Empire in 1400 AP was the start of great demographic, cultural, scientific and economic deterioration throughout the realm. Many religious doctrines state the 2nd Dark as the fall of religious faith while the consensus of arcane scholars is that it was the death of 'light among cultural and scientific achievements." In the west, the dawn of a new crusade is on the tongues of the faithful, poisoning the mind of a young conqueror. The breath of war lingers in the colonies in the east. The slave trade has become a lucrative business and eastern narcotics have found their way on ships to the west coast.

Yet knighthood is on the rise with four main holy orders maintaining prominence throughout the realm: The Order of the Unseen Eye (Pale Knights), The Order of the Phoenix (Ember Knights), The Order of the Umbra (Shadow Knights) and The Order of the Rose (Thorned Knights).

MAJOR FACTIONS . . .
The Keepers
Slaver's Guild
keepers.png

A roguish order of ex-thieves and assassins, they prowl Isakar in search of slaves to capture and sell to upper nobility and to buyers abroad. Their profit comes largely from abducting by chance, though they may sometimes plan the kidnappings of those they believe to be worthy of a suitable ransom. It's boasted there isn't anyone in Isakar that they can't find. Their leader, known only as The Crow, is a cruel dark haired woman bearing a webbed scar across her face. The Keepers currently hold a thin alliance with The Iron Circle.

The Gilded Swan
Merchant Guild
guilded-swan.png

Working as both caravan traders, merchant fleets and trained bankers, the Gilden Swan began in Meridia as a humble merchantโ€™s shop within the edges of the Timberlands. Within a single generation, it expanded to a banking clan that now manages properties, markets and finances all across the realm. Itโ€™s not uncommon for Elder Swans to act as financial advisors within the courts of royals and the guild may also manage resources within other guilds as well. The guild is currently overseen by twin entrepreneurs Iriae and Erisaline Laferriere.

Dawnโ€™s Chorus
Bard & Actorโ€™s School
dawn-chorus.png

Named after an old elven ballad of the same name, the song recounts the adventures of a mystical bard whose songs were what caused the sun to rise every morning. In the wake of a new age, the famed ruffian Victor Lagosi sings bold tales of his traveling theatre, made up of mistfit minstrels, struggling performers and curious creatures from beyond the Endless Sea (or so the fool says). Yet if one can look past the colorful streamers and enchanting music, they might stumble upon an ambitious thieves guild in the making.

Good Neighbor
Rangerโ€™s Guild
good-neighbors.png

It was started by a bastard son of the Duke of Endor, a lad going going by Siro Alvotarie. During the 2nd Dark age, he rode west with 400 men and women order to protect the Timberland peoples from the once dangerous monsters who prowled the dark woods. Here they made an alliance with the Wood Elf tribes as well as the native Dire Wolves, both of which are still upheld to this day. Able to quell the dark magic of the shadowy woods, This guildโ€™s current purpose serves the realm as forest guides, wildlife hunters and peacekeepers.

Children of Ember
Scribe & Arcane Academy
children-of-ember.png

Started by the Church of Emporem under the Elven Princess Ardnae Faelyn during the Age of Fire, this faction upholds themselves as astute historians, scribes, teachers and mages to whom they devote their lives to recording history and honing the skills of young magic users. They proclaim themselves as humble servants of their goddesses, of which they are said to worship over a thousand deities. A neutral faction in the ways of war, the Children of Ember have made solemn vows to grant their services regardless of status or side.

The Iron Circle
Mercenary Company
iron-circle.png

Based on the rocky cliffs past the Dead Manโ€™s Land, the Iron Circle is made up of dishonored knights, gladiators and hardened mercenaries. A cutthroat fighter's guild, this order of warriors is feared throughout the realm as tales of their bloodlust is more than well known. Their signature iron crosses are scattered over the mountain side, where they nail those they conquer overlooking their iron fortresses. Former knight Sir Athen Blacktyde has become their leader, going by the Black Bull due to the black horned helm he wears.

Character Ideas:
- Hope
- Kindness
- Freedom
- Valiance
- Wisdom
- Additional Virtue (Optional)

Party Size: 5 (maybe 6) characters
Notes: We can add an additional virtue if you want it to be even on both sides!
Preferences: I can play any virtue! I have characters specifically for Kindness and Hope, but those aren't set in stone. We can definitely work some roles around to fit your own preferences.

In the first dawn of an infant world, the continent of Ardunia stood tall and alone for none had known of what lay beyond the endless seas. But Ardunia began its infancy as a beautiful oasis crafted by an earth goddess mortal kind called Enya. In the safe shadow of her wings, every man, elf, orc and beastman thrived in their sacred Eden.

But there was one who saw light within the growing darkness. A creature named Cyphos, a spirit of mischief, searched for the source of this light and stumbled upon five special persons whom not even he could justify their destruction.Their mortal natures left them flawed and imperfect, yet Cyphos found each of their light was powered through the strength of their virtuous hearts.

And thus, Cyphos relayed what he had found to his mistress Enya and named to her the five lights whose purity remained intact. He pleaded with the irate goddess to spare the world for the sake of the five, but Enya would not listen for she believed that mankind was tainted by nature and that any soul regardless of their purity would eventually fall to corruption. When Cyphos saw that he could not persuade his mistress to cease the worldโ€™s end, he instead proposed a test. A wager. A prospect of a second Dawn.

If these five souls could carry the beauty of humanity through their good deeds, then Enya would spare them and any they saw worthy to live in the wake of a new worldโ€™s creation. If they could not, then they would be justified to perish with the rest of mortalkind. Enya anger subsided and she took favor from her servantโ€™s quick wit and steadfast determination. And so, the goddess agreed to give him and the five lights one year to prove themselves.

Cyphos began preparations to bring the five lights together and set them forth on their quest. Yet his work was still unfinished. In the vastness of eternity, Cyphos searched through Enyaโ€™s infinite mind and found a bounty of memories she still held dear. Through further mischief and an ounce of luck, Cyphoe stole five of these memories and sculpted their magic into forms that mortal eyes could both see and understand.

He carried them to the mortal world below and lured the five lights together on dark night while the sinful world slept. And upon each light, he placed a memory in the form of a gift:

To one, a silver star that shines even in the darkest nights.

To one, a golden flower that gives healing through sacrifice.

To one, a flame that burned at the sight of cruelty and injustice.

To one, a bestial strength that is untamed and wild in unbridled glory.

To one, a foresight that is heightened by humbleness and cautious pursuits.

Each gift was designed to match for its keeper, to act as a guide to aid them and protect them. Yet their true power were fueled by the will of their own virtue. The five lights were instructed to pave the path to the new dawn through their good deeds. And by doing good, the path to paradise would be opened to them; a mythical land above the mountains and below the sea that Cyphos called the Everdawn. It was a place untainted by wickedness, made for them and any they believed were worth saving. For one year and one year only, they have the task of proving the truth worth of humanity.

Young Gods | Dark Fantasy + Quest | Closed
new-RP-collage.png

Short Description: "A six faced god known as The Weaver has been ruptured. Unable to protect the road that connects the earth from the underworld and all its monsters, its essence floats among mankind in six fractured halves. And now the roots of the Terminus Tree, the roots of the universe from which it was born, has grown entangled with the aura of another entity -- a sinister, greedy god named by its cultish followers as the Corixium. Yet the Weaver refused to die. Instead, it buried its six faces into the souls of six mortals to act as protectors to the fledgling god who sought to be reborn a new. A race against a dark growling god to restore the reborn Weaver and save the cosmos from an eternal darkness has begun.["

Character Ideas:
- The Healer | Forgiveness, Kindness, Faith
- The Judge | Fairness, Wisdom, Discipline
- The Pathfinder | Charm, Ambition, Creativity
- The Guardian | Courage, Comfort, Trust
- The Hunter | Cunning, Tenacity, Patience
- The Executioner | Justice, Duty, Order

Genre: High Fantasy, Dark Fantasy, Quest, Slice of Life
Party Size: 6 characters
Notes: It wavers between High Fantasy and Dark Fantasy, as I feel things will become more corrupted later on. The Six Faces go as follows: The Healer brings life into the world
Preferences: I have characters in mind who could fit any of these ideas, especially the Healer. As always, we can brainstorm together with your characters before hand.

Deep in the unknown places where men fear to tread, there is a chaotic realm known as The Above. An untamed dimension filled with nebulous wonder, The Above is home to many deadly entities. From ravenous titans to vindictive witches to forgotten monsters on the prowl in the shadows. The only thing keeping these legendary fiends from ravaging the land of The Below where mortals reside was the Six Faced God. The Weaver, as the deity is also known, protected the only path between the two realms. This path, The God's Road, is a perilous connection between the two dimensions that borders space and time. It was designed separate both spheres; to keep humanity from the secrets of divine power while warding off the eternal entities who wished to dismantle the mortal realm completely.

The Weaver was the embodiment of both the Above and the Below. Three faces were safe for mortals to look upon and three faces were feared by the immortal demons. This is what held balance and cosmic peace for millions of years years until, as violently as they were born, The Weaver's whole being raptured. Their six faces vanished deep into The Below.

With the gates to the God's Road unprotected, it wasn't long before the monsters of the Above tore them down and began to wander along the dimensional path towards the unprotected Below. It began with the lesser fiends at first; small shadow monsters who feasted on mortal fear or lowly demons that bargained otherworldly knowledge for souls to steal. But it wasnโ€™t long before the Below transformed from its peaceful terrene to a terrible grimdark atmosphere. Crueler beasts found their way to the Below. Umbra witches poisoned the minds of kings with madness while leeches the size of dogs laid in wait in the river basins for the blood of unsuspecting villagers. But deadlier monsters have yet to arrive down the long road. And when they do, it will mean the eventual end of the mortal realm.

Yet, the fallen faces of The Weaver did not fade away completely for they buried themselves deep within the bones of six unlikely mortals. And as the seeds of godhood was planted inside them, these chosen six found greatness thrust upon them; their fates were forever deeply intertwined. How they choose to achieve carry such burdens and restore the faces of the Above's Reborn Weaver is for them to decide. But such power does not come unchallenged. The gates must be closed. And the guardians of the gods must not perish.

The Call of Nern | High Fantasy + Quest | Open
new-RP-collage-2.png

Short Description: "A mystical realm is enslaved by a mad wizard when he destroyed its enchanted guardians. In an attempt to the dismantle the gemstone keys, which are magically drawn to breath life back into the guardians, the wizard cast a curse on the pieces. If mortal eyes were to look upon them, the keys would connect themselves to their flesh instead, killing them as well as the keys. But as six unlucky mortals gazed upon the strange gems, the shards that pierced their flesh did not kill them. While the gemstones caused them terrible deformities, it did granted the mortals strange powers in return. Drawn by a mysterious otherworldly call, the call of the keys of Nern, the mortals find themselves within each other company on a quest to resurrect the dead guardians who can stabilize the lost land and sever the wizardโ€™s grasp completely."

Character Ideas:
- Amethyst | Ranger
- Sapphire | Mage
- Pearl | Knight
- Ruby | Rogue
- Emerald | Fighter
- Amber | Bard

Genre: Dark Fantasy, Quest
Party Size: 4 (max is 6) characters
Notes: Dark Fantasy, though not quite on Dark Souls level dark lol
Preferences: I could do any of these without any preference! Also, you can change the "gemstone" and "class" mentioned in this prompt to whatever you want to fit your character. These aren't set in stone and we can adjust anything for our needs!

Once upon a season, Nern was a vast and prosperous realm of mysterious beauty. The legends say that its streets were laid in pure moonstone, the poplar trees leaves shone like pearl and the sun never set within the capital city. And for generations, Nern was protect from all harm by the great guardians - The Pale Knight, The Minstrel of Amber Run, The Seer of the Azure Athenaeum, The Lilac Huntress, The Warrior of Jade Hall and the Bloodstone Blade. Each guardian possessed a gemstone key within them that could open or seal Nern.

But it's said that, within a single fortnight, an overwhelming slumber numbed the realm and cast it into a shimmering mist. The once prosperous kingdom vanished under a spell, never to be heard of again. Eventually, the land of Nern became nothing more legend and the world forgot about the kingdom of beauty and pearl.

Nern did not vanish. But was instead held prisoner by dark hands.

There was a wizard Phylox of The Larimar Order who learned how to control others through their dreams and nightmares. And through the power of dreams, he could create a dreamscape where he bring anything he wanted from the real world (or the realscape) or vice versa. As shadows gleamed over the ivory towers of Nern, the guardians rose forward to vanquish the wizard knowing of what he could unleash upon reality now that he had learned how to open gateways on his own. Phylox was weakened, but he could not be defeated - he destroyed the guardians by taking their essence so their physical bodies could do nothing else but crumble into dust.

But even Phylox knew these formidable foes could return to vanquish him. Unable to destroy their essence directly, he weakened them by grinding their keys to dust and scattering them into the realscape to be left at the mercy of the wind.

The gemstone dust was not lost, as Phylox had hoped. Instead the pieces found themselves among mortal eyes, six of whom could not blink them away. As softly as they had come, the enchantment of the gemstones grew more violent. The shards splintered inside their mortal hosts, causing painful disfigurements and disturbing oddities - the unlucky six who could not rid the grasp of the keys found themselves as half mortal/half gem creations who were quick to be shunned by their communities who feared them as carriers for some hideous plague crafted by Phylox.

Abandoned, the six found themselves within each others company and through hearing each other's experience, began to piece together the reasons for their burdens. Each of them can hear the same song, that others cannot; a song that appears to be drawing them out of the mist and deeper into the forgotten places where old ones stir and a hope of salvation can be found.

Part Three: Characters

Character Creation You can use any character ranging from child, teenager, young adult, adult and elder. Most fantasy and DND races and classes accepted. I might consider any fanmade species, though please run them by me first.
Below you can find some characters (or character ideas) that I've been looking to use either for a solo RP mentioned later or for one of the RP prompts I'll have down below.

I also don't mind making up characters on the spot! All my characters are LGBT+ friendly and will fit in most medieval, low fantasy and high fantasy settings. I don't really use them much for anything modern, but you could still throw out any ideas you might have and I'll be down to listen at least. They'll be labeled by what kind of RP they'd fit best as well as some general information to get a feel on what their motivations would be. As previously stated, character sheets are optional but I largely prefer them since I love reading about characters anyways! If you have any questions or any ideas of your own for plots of characters, let me know.

Abdessi of Karth | Human | Early 20s | Priestess | Lawful Good
A PRIESTESS GIFTED WITH GOLDEN HANDS AND THE TOUCH OF LIFE... seeks a reincarnated prophesied hero to aid in freeing her country from foreign oppressors. In the warm shadows of marble temples and lush sanctuaries, Abdessi began her life as a wide eyed child who chased the song of her goddess Karine. The girl was special even then. In the humid summer nights of Karth, the maiden spoke in dreams with The Mother of Fellowship and won a bounty of her favor in return. The goddess blessed her beloved with dreams that foretold the births of great heroes and future perils that would lead to great peace. And as she touched a lion whose mane rivaled the beauty of Alosรฏa's night sky, so did her fate become intertwined with the great hero of Karth. The Lion of Midnight.

โœง My Loyal Knight | Knight x Princess | MxF, FxF or FxNB - In order to exploit her other worldly healing powers, a greedy foreign prince forces Abdessi's hand in marriage. He assigns a knight for her protection (or more likely, to keep her from escaping). But the pair end up developing their own bond.
โœง Just Business | Mercenary x Priestess | MxF, FxF or FxNB - A mercenary is paid to escort the priestess through a dangerous part of the country, where they pair have to work together to avoid the dangers this adventure brings. Perhaps this warrior is the prophesied champion Abdessi was looking for. Perhaps not. Regardless, they've got each other's backs now. Love the opposite attract dynamic that could start here!
โœง Beauty and the Beast | Monster/Dark Knight x Priestess | MxF, FxF or FxNB - Abdessi's kindness and steadfast courage is able to warm even the coldest of hearts. A slow burn romance ensues.

Ariella Sagewood | Wood Elf | Child | Healer | Neutral Good
A LITTLE HEALER INFLICTED WITH A MAGICAL DISEASE... grants a kindness and promises a dying spirit to plant his last flower in a forgotten promised land. Ariella Sagewood has only known life in chains. With the birth of the slave industry came the death of many wood elves and the loss of dreams for those who did not die under the whip of the eastern men. But even when her gentle nature was rewarded with scars instead of love, Ariella refused to let her dreams die. It wasnโ€™t long before, in place of blood and bruises, flowers grew out of her wounds. Her kind deeds had not gone unnoticed.

โœง Unlikely Friends | Knight & Healer - Ariella is terrified of knights. Yet her sweet heart refuses to deny even them kindness. A wounded knight collapses in the woods and she uses her magical gift to heal them. To repay her for her good deed, the knight agrees to escort her in her search for the spirit's lost forest.
โœง Someone to Watch Over Me | Noble & Orphan - A slice of life/found family type story. As war rages the realm and leaves orphans in its wake, Ariella is taken in by a kind noble.
โœง Redemption | Villain & Sweetheart - A hardened antagonist softens at the kindness of the little Wood Elf. They might not even admit at first, but she's a good influence. It's a long road but perhaps redemption really is possible. I'm thinking either a character who looks scary (but is secretly a softie) or someone who is a genuine villain that little Ari befriended.
โœง My Friend & Mentor | Mage & Apprentice - Sometimes you need a little guidance. A Mage sees the potential in Ariella and agrees to hone in on her magic ailities.

Beatrice Strauss | Demigod | Early-Mid 20s | Knight | Lawful Good
A PALADIN BEARING THE BURDENED SOUL OF A DEAD KING... seeks seven trials to appease a god and usurp a great evil's dark champion. Beatrice Strauss was a humble bastard child, an illegitimate daughter to a scandalous King. But when the wrath of Orkstacees, the god of fire and courage, fell upon the realm for its rampant sin and despicable cowardice, a second chance was granted through the simple humbleness of Beatrice as she bent the knee to the Hearth Father for mercy. And so it was, in a small chapel in the woods, that Orkstacees called Beatrice as his Cleansing Hand. The maiden took up her father's sword, blessed by holy fire and unbroken valor. And she is not afraid.

โœง Fire on Fire | Mercenary x Knight | FxF or FxNB - An unlikely friendship/romance. One has the formal training while the other has the experience in the gritty world. You thinkโ€™d they always be at each otherโ€™s throats. While they have their own disagreements, at the end of the day they canโ€™t help but admire the otherโ€™s own unique strengths.
โœง I'll Fight For You | Idealist Royal x Realist Knight | FxF or FxNB - One of Orkstacees' tasks is aiding a royal in a distant, crumbling country. Beatrice is here to not only make sure know harm comes to this king or queen, but to also fight for their steadfast dreams.
โœง Honorary Mom Friend | Rogue x Knight | FxF or FxNB - Honestly, I just love bratty rogues paired with tired mom friend paladins.

Corlis Scythe | High Elf | Early-Mid 20s | Cleric | Lawful Evil
A CUNNING CULTiST PIERCED BY THE SILVER FANGS OF HIS GODDESS... plots the abduction and ultimate corruption of her chosen champion. From kin slayers to financial treasurers to the Witcher Queen, the nobles of Scythe House bear a turbulent history filled with renowned ambition and devious trickery. Yet as worshipers of the Scourge Mother, these high elves live by the upmost devotion and Corlis Scythe is no exception. Yet with the death of her previous champion, the goddess Scyllia appoints the young Scythe for a destined pilgrimage for a new champion. He must bring them into his goddessโ€™ snare through any means necessary.

โœง Your Faithful Servant | Lawful Evil x Chaotic Evil | MxM - Corlis betrays his Queen for the alluring aspirations of a new dark master. Poison the foreign ambassador? As you wish. Abduct the prince and blame his disappearance on a meddlesome outsider? Quite possible. Accept your marriage proposal- ... Hold on, this wasn't apart of the agreement.
โœง Arise, Champion | Champion x Follower | MxM - Abducted and forced into the dark worship of the Scourge Mother, Corlis is here to see that his goddess' new champion fits into his new role nicely.

Dr. Corvidae | Human | Late 20s | Witch | Neutral Evil
A POWERFUL WITCH AWAKENS FROM A 1000 YEAR SLEEP and prowls the dark realms in search of the coven who betrayed her. It's unsure who she was before she found salvation in the dark outer god known as the Coraxium. But it's of little concern to Dr. Corvidae. In her days of power, she lead a flock of dark influential worshipers and her words permeated even the ears of distant kings. But as her power grew, her followers began to fear what she might become. And so her own cult betrayed her and stole the four tomes they believed were the source of her power. Little did they know - she does not rest eternally. And while weakened, she only sleeps. Destined to retake the four dark tomes.

โœง You May Be Useful | Adventurer x Witch | MxF, FxF or FxNB - There was supposed to be treasure here, but all this lost adventurer found was an entombed woman with surreal features. Yet they shouldn't have tried to take her raven eye amulet. She was not happy when she woke up and now this adventurer's fate is sealed. Or... is it? Perhaps a deal could still be made.
โœง Friend Like Me | Familiar x Witch | MxF, FxF or FxNB - Since her 1000 year sleep, Corvidae has found her powers severely de-leveled. Perhaps she might have enough strength to summon a mystical familiar to aid her in her quest.

Inspector D'Alvarde | Human | Late 20s | Monster Hunter | Chaotic Neutral
A MONSTER HUNTER WITH PARANORMAL FORESIGHT ... has his heart stolen by a cult and replaced by an ancient eldritch artifact. Few care to talk of the dark, dangerous unknown where the Eldrich horrors live. But the children of House D'Alvarde were practically raised on stories of sinister gods and snapping monsters who prey of the flesh of the living. And while these honorable monster hunters have long laid down their swords in the name of the King of the Sea, Alvaro D'Alvarde takes the mantle to avenge the terrible fates of three beloved ancestors. If only he had know the Eldrich flesh that whispers his name would become an eternal part of him.

โœง A Dark Trade | Monster x Hunter | MxF, MxM of MxNB - A monster is terrorizing a small northern town and the Inspector has been sent to deal with the problem. However, it becomes a little complicated when it turns out the monster has nothing to do with the strange attacks. If not them, then who?
โœง Avenge Me | Ghost x Hunter | MxF, MxM of MxNB - A terrible thing has happened here and a ghost wanders restless at their untimely demise. But there is still hope. Perhaps this strange man can finally allow this spirit to rest.
โœง Harbinger | Dark Master x Inquisitor | MxF, MxM of MxNB - The idea would be that D'Alvarde would be forced to serve a dark ruler oppressing a monster race due to his knowledge of dark creatures. Could be either a fun redemption or corruption arc for either character!

Olthuros Viamaro | Half Elf | Early 20s | Bard | Neutral Good
A SWEET MINSTREL WITH A SILVER STRING ON HIS LUTE ... travels the old wild roads for lost stories to rekindle. In a world filled with violence and greed, there is a humble bard who remains content by the souls of songs last heard in old quiet places. Kings fight over the weight of their crowns and the rights of their birth. And yet all Olthuros Viamaro has any desire for is the wonder of the wide spaces to roam and the discovery of the forgotten songs that men once sang.

โœง To Our Friendship | Bard x Paladin | MxM or MxNB - Honestly, I just think it'd be cute to have a sweet happy bard paired with a rather grumpy paladin who at first finds him incredibly annoying but starts to warm up to his sweet tales later.
โœง Sweet Dreams | Bard x Royal | MxM or MxNB - Olthuros is brought into a noble's/royal's court and somehow wins their favor through his sweet ballads and tales from his adventures. This could be a slice of life or lead to an adventure setting!

Roland The Red | Human | | Early 20s | Rogue | Chaotic Good
A RUNAWAY PRINCE CARRYING A BLOOD BINDING WARHORN ... takes up the hood as a charming outlaw in search of a captive princess Once in the fertile lands in the west, a demigod wandered from the sea. He would rise to greatness and liberate the central peoples from war-driven tribes of valley minotaurs. His name was Ruther the Red. And for generations, his descendants would rule the kingdom of Rutherhorn. Roland II, the Crown Prince of the Cornucopia, is next in line for the throne. Yet when his younger sister is abducted and the king refused to pay her ransom, Roland took matters into his own hands.
