Comrade Wubzin
GOOGLY-EYED-KNIGHT!!!!
Hey guys, this is the first rp I have set up, so bear with me on some things if I mess up a bit. So, after playing warhammer fantasy, and roleplaying fantasy nation building rp's here, I got inspired to create my own rp.
This is a high fantasy nation building rp, build and control your nation, conquer other nations through war or use diplomacy to sway them to your cause. You will play as both the boots on the ground and the lords on the thrones, controlling your military, politics, economy, and maybe your people.
There are two continents, Easteria and Westar (I know... not that original) with various islands dotting the oceans. Both continents have the same biomes, but Westar has more snow-covered lands and forests whilst Easteria is more desert and jungle-covered. (a map will hopefully be made once all of the nations have been made)
Turns will last every two days(but that can change based of popular demand), wars will have some moderator interference to keep them fair. (we don't want mary sues dominating the battlefields)
Your empires will only know their territory, you must send out explorers to scout out the foreign lands and empires. Seeking new resources, lands, allies or enemies.
Army and navy size and power will be decided with some of these factors; Empire size, empire knowledge, empire research, empire wealth and empire age. But the base number will be 16,000 soldiers and 4,000 ships. (trying to be somewhat realistic)
Empire knowledge and research play into each other, you must research things to gain knowledge on things, no? During your turns, you will be able to explain what you'll be researching. Moderators will decide whether you can research that or no, basically a flip the coin or roll the dice behind the keyboard, no bias.
Empire size and age will play into each other. They'll will be determined at the start, but you should know that your empire cannot be too old and too big. If a moderator see's that an empire is too large or old, they will politely ask to shrink the size and lower age.
Empire wealth requires a good economy and trade. You'll need to immediately send explorers to the world to find trade allies, but if an empire is your exact neighbor and isn't your enemy, you should probably start trading there.
There will be a limit on alliances(lets face it, what fun is there when everyone's allied. Unless you have the balls to make a betrayal), which will be determined when all of the empires have been formed and accepted.
The races of the world will be created by you guys, and accepted through polls. But please, don't make anything ridiculous. The base races are humans, elves, orcs, dwarves, felinians, draconians, lycaonians, Owlinians. (tried to describe them like we haven't really seen what they look like that much)
Owlinians=responsible owl people
Lycaonians=brutish and war-loving wolf people
Draconians=attention-seeking dragon people
Felinians=careless cat people
Dwarves=stereotypical dwarves
Orcs=stronger, green-skinned, larger-jawed brutish elves (and your stereotypical orcs)
Elves=like humans, except more mischievous
Humans=responsible, ambitious, cultural, active people who look like elves except smaller and no-pointy ears
If you have any questions, by all means, please ask. I do a lot easier explaining things in a Q and A.
