Hello! So, I'm sorta in a fantasy roleplaying mood right now, hence me creating this topic. Firstly, just some minor things. I use animated/drawn fcs, and would like that my partner does the same(not picrew though). I'd like to steer away from op/mary sue characters, aswell as the soft bby type who can't help themselves. I myself am fairly literate, and would like the same of my partner. I'm also fairly active and would like to find someone who is aswell, but at the end of the day we can't always be on every second of every hour, which I get. Aside from that, I don't really have anything super crazy to mention. This is mostly a escape from how sucky life has been for me, so I'd like to keep away from darker, depressing, gorey things for awhile. Apart from that, have a good day!
Alright so! My idea is that our roleplay is more of less, right out of a video game. Not literally, but it just has similar concepts to one. Like, different places you can visit and species you can meet. There's evil monsters that plague towns/villages that you can get rid of for gold, quests at your local tavern/inn, rideable monsters, merchants setting up shop and different people that you can be. I'd like to world build together, and think of interesting town/monster/species concepts as we go, and chat oorp. Currently, I have two character ideas that I'd like to use, and if one interests you over the other, you can tell me & I'll use that character for our roleplay!
Kai Hotaru is a kitsune, a species of fox-people who have evolved to harness abilities; most commonly fire. Like more kitsunes's, Kai has a love and slight greed for gold and all things pretty. He's a bit vain, and will often spend alot of time making sure his tail and ears don't get dirty, or wearing pretty clothing/jewelry. Kai has the ability to harness fire, using it to heat up the air around him, or illuminate places. He also has illusion magic, making people see things that aren't there or shapeshift himself, into either people or animals. His downfall is that pulling his tail breaks the illusion, as with most kitsunes. He also has the ability to turn into a fox, though it's more of a species thing. Personality wise, Kai is a bit dramatic. He's very high energy, always ready to do this or that, though sometimes he's the laziest thing in the world. He can be a bit high maintenance, always wanting something or the other, and can be a tad stubborn/petty. He makes up for it by being loveable, or at least willing to do things if you strike a deal with him. All in all, a guy you're probably gonna be sighing around alot, because he's alot...to deal with anyway.
Zane Woods is a wizard, a super-powered human with the ability to wield magic. He's apart of the Azanea Tribe, village of magic users who live in a more closed off society, though still are apart of the real world. Zane has a familiar who he's named Grumpus, because their actual name is too hard to pronounce. Zane is incredibly odd, the real him is hidden down in many layers. He's cocky, smug, and full of himself for the sole reason of it annoying other people. He doesn't go out of his way unless he really feels like it, and can be extremely petty with someone who tries him. Quite frankly, he's unbearable in the worst of times, with a very small kinder side that's hidden under taunts and snarky remarks.
This is Grumpus, Zane's 'familiar' whose standard form is a three eyed cat looking creature with large, foxy ears, a snake like body with normal cat paws that hide bird-long talons.
OK! SO those are my characters! Depending on who you ask to roleplay with, I have starting ideas for each that we can discuss. If you are interested, I'd prefer you dm me, as I will only look at this thread to bump.
