Currently, I am in bit of a role play slump. So here we are! Before we start talking ideas, though, please take a look at a few notes about my role playing.
You’ve made it through the dreaded list! YAY! I will reward you with a couple (literally) ideas! If neither of these strikes your fancy, let me know of a plot you might like to try out and I’m sure we can work something out.
On their twenty-fifth year, every woman in the kingdom Solum is tested. The Potestas, a group of elite women considered part of the royal army of the kingdom, sends out delegates to travel through each city and town to search for young women with powers. By some, it is considered an honor to be Chosen. Others view it more negatively. Few know what happens to their daughters, sisters, or wives when they leave with one of the Potesta Sisters. Few know that more than half of the women do not survive the grueling assessments done. Those who do live through it go on to be revered, and feared, by the kingdom.
Centered between the four sovereign realms, Spioraid is a city governed by a representative from each nation. It is a place of commerce and trade, where members of each country are considered equal. Situated in the middle of the forest, the city is built in, under, and on larger-than-life trees. Men from the earth nation Cré can be seen chatting with those from Tine, the fire republic. Those from Uisce, the water kingdom, are welcomed alongside Aerans. All are allowed and free to use their element while in the city-state Spioraid, answerable to the only rule: “harm no other”.
Madame Talamh runs the best brothel in Spioraid. Located in the hollow of one of the large trees that make up the great city, she oversees eight girls and protects them using her considerable skills as an earth witch. Visited by only the most elite merchants and nobles, Madame Talamh runs a tight ship and so offers only the best girls from each country. She is, however, partial to a sad story told by a girl wanting food and a place to stay.
I have a few different characters/plots for each of these ideas. Madame Talamh is one example of a character (with a plot I can expound upon if you’re interested) for Spioraid, but not the only story in that bustling city. I have a number of thoughts about both worlds I have created and can happily take them in any direction. Just let me know what you thought about when you read the idea, and we can chat!

- I am pretty big on grammar and spelling. These are a must. Before I send my post, I read over it. I expect you to do the same. A few mistakes are obviously fine (I’m sure there are some in this post!), but at least try to have pride in the writing you send out.
- On the same note, I ask for no one liners. At least a good sized paragraph, please. I love to write, but can only do so much when given only few lines to work with.
- It’s really important to me that all main characters are above the age of 18 (and preferably above 21). While I am not specifically looking for mature content in my role plays, I would like the main characters to have had at least some life experience under their belts.
- I love it when we can come up with plots together! Toss ideas at me, and I’ll do the same. It’s difficult when only one person carries the weight of the role play. Don’t be shy, I won’t bite. Well…only a little bit, but who doesn’t like a good nip?
- Romance is not a must in my role plays, though I will welcome it if it is kindled just like a natural relationship. In that regard, I typically only role play MxF, or FxF.
- I like to play both genders. I hope you do, as well, since most of my role plays happen in a world where main characters must interact with secondary ones.
- I am usually able to get on at least once a day, though life does happen. While I know that is a lot to ask in reciprocation, I would like a partner who can get a response to me at least once or twice a week. If it will be more than a week before you can reply, I ask that you let me know so I don’t think you've left me. I have abandonment issues. I sit in a corner and cry for days. It’s very sad.
- I tend to lead towards fantasy role plays. I love creating new worlds for characters to explore. That being said, I have been known to dabble in the modern, realism realm. If you have a great idea for a slice of life, I’m happy to hear it out. I do not do any fandoms.
