"Nervous?" Hugo turned to the girl nearby, who seemed like she was having quite a hard time breathing. "Don't worry. Everything's gonna turn out fine." He said, repeating the words he said to Luca all those years ago when they first got enlisted in the AGE Program as children.

Bedrooms > Reception

Clementine followed the others into the elevator without much of a word, but as she turned around to face the hall, her eyes fell on the imposing form of Pyramid Head. Though there were only four others in the elevator at the moment, Clementine wasn't going to wait around for that creature to join them. She hit the down button and the elevator started descending, leaving the others behind. They couldn't have been in it for more than fifteen seconds before it stopped and opened to a new room entirely.

Once the elevator had stopped, it waited for the others to get off and, upon doing so, ascended back to the hallway for the others to get on next. So much for Clementine's attempt to leave Pyramid Head behind.

The new room was not too large, though the sparse amount of items in the room made it seem bigger than it was. A lone desk sat a little in front of the elevator, looking like it was meant for reception. Unfortunately, the desk held no items on it. As for the rest of the room, there was not much to see beyond the exits into other spaces. For three of the rooms, there was no indication of where they led beyond the symbols on the doors, those being a ticket, a washing machine, and a baby carriage. One other exit was obvious, for a restaurant was visible behind a locked gate. The final door was locked as well, though a monitor was built into the wall next to it.

On the monitor was two lines of text:

Welcome valued guest.

Please step in front of the monitor for ID verification.

Once everyone was on the Elevator, it descended. Like any good elevator would. As it descended, Hugo crossed his arms, as if sensing a sort of familiarity with these sorts of elevators. The only thing missing now would be his God Arc--his weapon of war. It soon stopped after a good while, leading them to a sort of lobby locale.

There were a bunch of doors leading to several other rooms. A Washing Machine Room, a Baby Carriage room, a Movie Room, and the Cafeteria. Hugo immediately bolted for the door at the back of the lobby, attempting to open it, but to no avail.

"Locked. Just great." Hugo clicked his tongue in frustration before focusing on the monitor beside it. He stepped in front of it to read what it says. "ID Verification...?" He mumbled aloud. Hugo doesn't remember signing up for literally anything. Did Hilda put him up to this?

No, no. That wouldn't explain Alexander and Wanda's presence. She doesn't know them.

Uueee, so we really are kidnapped, then? And they took everyone’s powers? Oh no!! That’s what I was worried about! Doctor-san, I’m good at making friends, but I’ve never been good at acting!”

"Cereal... killer?" Pinkie asked, placing a finger to her cheek in thought. "Why would someone kill cereals? You only kill cereals when you eat them!! What do they have against cereals? Is it too soggy for them? What a waste!" Everyone was talking about playing along and being safe and all that, but Pinkie was not following along with them. All she could think about was, What's so serious about cereal killers?

Faust seemed to watch Pinkie Pie intently as she giggled at his jokes, his antics. It was an exotic way of getting across a rather clear point, one might admit, but her reaction held the doctor in place for a moment. Her giggling held him there. He hadn't been trying to recall it, but-

The flipping from one page to the next. Dreams leap from the paper. A gentle beep. The iron in the air. Terminal, terminal.

The tall, crooked man, whose paper bag seemed to contort as if he was smiling earnestly beneath it, lurched forward and lowered himself to Pinkie Pie's height, speaking softer now though no less exuberant than he was before.

"... It is a terrible thing, Pinkie Pie. But, nothing you need to worry about. Either of you--" he lifted his body slightly, turning to Usagi. "You may call me Faust, Usagi! As your doctor, even with our current condition, never have I failed--"

He paused. His voice caught itself in his throat.

"-- N- Never... never... never have I failed to make a patient feel better! A cure for every condition, a remedy for all that ails ya~! Stick me with me, and we'll- we'll see this through~!"

It seemed as if Faust's demonstration was enough of a distraction to keep the group from tearing each other apart, as Stiles and Clementine found a solution for the elevator. As soon he noticed, Faust gestured for the entrance to Usagi and Pinkie Pie, and those who cared to take his advice to heart, standing tall like a spindly beacon haphazardly dressed in the garb of a doctor.

"Come along, then. We have places to do and things to be~!"

Faust began marching for the elevator as soon as there were spaces available - though, he probably wouldn't be there for long.

Usagi can’t help but give a little pleased wiggle in place at the Witch’s— No, Wanda-san’s attention. When Wanda-san steps back Usagi takes the opportunity to wipe her eyes with the back of her hand and re-fluff her hair dango.

“You can call me Usagi, Wanda-san! Mmmh, coconut curry sounds amaaazing right now. I hope that we at least get to be fed, if we’re going to be staying here! Some kidnappers they would be if they didn’t even care about their prisoners’ well being, hmph!” Usagi ends her musing by sticking her tongue out at the imaginary kidnappers. It must be a multi-person job, what with the sheer size of this place and the amount of, er, kidnapees, but in her head she keeps conjuring the image of one faceless person wearing a bad-fitting wig (for ultimate sneaking power, of course), probably wearing a nametag that says World’s Worst Kidnapper. Or something like that.

Her new friend (yay!), Pinkie, has busied herself with the- well, he was an eagle just a moment ago, but now it seems he’s back to being a boy. Cool! The good news is that shapeshifting is definitely something Usagi is familiar with, so she’s not scared, but she thinks it’s pretty cool that this boy kept his powers! His powers must be more like a body part, or something like that, instead of being tied to magical artifacts like hers (speaking of, it feels like it’s been ages since she’s needed to use her transformation pen… maybe the writers just found it obsolete in the series’ later seasons? Wait, who calls a year of their life a season? Silly her.)

The boy who was in the same room as her is poking around with another young girl, who’s made an unfortunate discovery about the windows, or lack thereof. Uh oh. So there really was no way to know where they all were. Usagi’s not sure whether not knowing is better or worse than being stuck in a forest in the middle of nowhere.

The elevators seem to be working now, though. Her roomie pushes the button and the doors open with a ding!

“Oh! More places to explore!” A handful of the group disappears into the elevator and down into the unknown. “Yay, maybe we can find something to eat— er, oh yeah, and maybe find a way out, too!” she adds, sheepishly rubbing the back of her neck.

The doctor finishes his exuberant spiel as the group disperses. Usagi claps her hands together, once, twice.

“Okay! Let’s go explore together and see this through. I trust you, Doctor Faust!” she quips to the paper-clad man himself. The paper bag did give her a bit of pause, but really, she’d encountered stranger habits in her life. Sailor Venus used to wear a silly masquerade mask back when she worked solo, to hide her identity— who was she to judge if Doctor Faust did the sane thing? And, don’t tell Minako, but she thought that mask was the silliest looking thing ever; even a paper bag was easier on the eyes, and probably got the anonymity-job done better, too! The thought makes Usagi giggle to herself a bit. She twirls on her heels to look up at the Scarlet Witch again.

“Wanda-san! Are you coming with us? Don’t listen to that meanie priest, he’s just jealous ‘cause he knows most people aren’t born to be meanies, like you! It’ll be okay— Maybe we’ll find a kitchen and I can make us all some curry for lunch and we’ll all feel better!” Or breakfast. Dinner. Whatever time it actually is.

Usagi dashes into the elevator that’s returned from its first trip downstairs. And if she presses the button with a little too much exuberance, well, it’s not her fault! Shingo always gets to press the button when they go out with their parents, just because he’s younger!

The elevator’s doors open again upon arrival, and Usagi skips out into the downstairs floor.

Waaah!! So many rooms! Ah, is that a baby carriage? Are there babies here? Aww! Oh, wait, oh no! Hopefully there aren’t babies here! Oh! There’s the food! Yummy curry, here I come!”

Heedless of the others, now spurned by the promise of food, Usagi makes a beeline for the restaurant. It’s covered by bars, though. The realization makes her sweatdrop.

Uwaah, it’s locked! That’s so inconsiderate! What am I even supposed to do n— ooh, photobooth!”

Never let it be said that Usagi was difficult to sate.

Usagi scrambles up to the monitor reading ID verification on the far wall from the elevator. She flashes the screen her biggest grin and holds up a peace sign for good measure.

“Tsukino Usagi, reporting for duty!”

Claude Von Riegan

Ultimate Stratigist

"Well, it is good to know that some of us have some powers, even if it's not all of them. Honestly, your magic's a bit different than the types I'm used to. Most people can use Light, Wind, Fire or Dark Magic, though Dark Magic takes a bit more mastery. I myself don't have sny magical talent but Teach and some of my fellow classmates do." Claude pointed out as he gave a nod. Even though he didn't understand the others' magic fully it was reassuring that they at least had resources to work with. That was a start. He sighed though, realizing he didn't have much to contribute though, aside from his manual expertise. "Unfourtunately if you're looking for me to have any attack power, my Wybern and my weapon are both gone but I suppose I could maybe see about making a bow if we I ever needed it. I'm a master archer if I do say so myself."

He glanced back at Pinkie Pie, glad that his apology seemed to cheer her back up. She was pretty quick to become happy again which was nice in a situation like this. He was also pretty laid back but in a situation where he knew nothing about the word around him, the people he was with and had a monster of all things bring hostile, it was hard to keep that going as strong as he'd like.
"Well, for now, I'm keeping my gaurd up. It's still good to know that you aren't going to get down easy." he told her. "Honestly, maybe a ray of sunshine will help us get through all of this." he nodded. Maybe he should ease up. But it was difficult to do so. At least not just yet. He got too many bad vibes from this. It felt like the times of war all over again.

It was at that moment that he noticed the elevator was open and decided to investigate, walkong over to the infamiliar contraption. It was nothing like any piece of technology that he'd seen back on Fodlan, so he was pretty curious about how it worked. He only saw two buttond and that the machine looked a little run down. However he coild tell that it was meant for travel. They aren't going to get any answers staying in the hallway. A good mlve would be to explore and see what they have to work with.
"I think we ought to use this contraption here. If we can travel around on it, maybe we'll have more of an idea of just what we're looking at." he suggested to those gathered.

Pinkie Pie

"Serial killers are, more or less, people who kill other people. Their reason for doing so varies on the person." Atsushi answered Pinkie Pie.

"K-kill!?" Pinkie screeched, staring at Atsushi in horror as if he were a serial killer. With all that was going on and such, Pinkie reacting to this manner from the word "kill" meant that the situation was finally registering for her. That she was listening. That she was processing, if even the smallest bit, the ideas that others brought them here to this hotel-like area. She, of course, didn't like the ideas they all had, but everyone all agreeing on them got to her. While she did understand what they had to say, she didn't necessarily want to understand, and refused to.
"N-no way! I don't believe it! I won't believe it!!"

Even with these words said, her body language expressed otherwise. Unlike from her excited bouncing before, she now had a nervous swaying. Her feet that were dancing before now tapped anxiously, as if waiting for something terrible to happen. She had clearly not dealt with something like this in the past, let alone hear the words "serial killer" out loud before. All the denying and avoiding coming out was normal for her, since an event like this deemed impossible from where she came from.

"-- N- Never... never... never have I failed to make a patient feel better! A cure for every condition, a remedy for all that ails ya~! Stick me with me, and we'll- we'll see this through~!"

Her nervous energy seemed to simmer down when Faust lowered himself and made himself in a more... relaxed, or soft manner. She stopped tapping her nervous foot when the man said she didn't need to worry about it, letting her sigh out a breath in appreciation. In all the comments made about their dangerous situation, not worrying was exactly what Pinkie wanted to hear right now. If someone like Faust said she didn't need to be worried, then she shouldn't be worried! She trusted him. Plus, she had never even heard the words "serial killer" before this very moment! No way can the person potentially behind this could be something that she's never heard of... right? Right! If a person was behind this, they could be a word that she did know, like a princess, a clown, or a magician! They had to be something that Pinkie was used to, and not something unusual and dangerous!

"We'll stick with you, Fausty! We'll stick onto you more than holes on a doughnut! And trust me- those things neverrr come off!" And just like that, Pinkie now had an excuse to stick by Faust and yap at him until the end of eternity.
"The windows in the bathrooms," she said, raising her voice so all could hear, "they're not even real. It's just... a video or something!"

When Stiles pressed the down button the elevator, it did not work... that is, until a moment later, when the buttons suddenly lit up. In fact, the buttons both inside and outside the elevator lit up, indicating that the elevator was now actually working. Of course, it wasn't the biggest elevator, so it could probably only fit sixteen people at most.

"Woah, videos in the bathroom?" She looked at the area the girl came from with excitement, saying cheerfully, "Fancyy! This is a pretty nice hotel, then, if they could afford video windows!! Could you imagine anything more fancy? I couldn't! That would be the most fanciest thing I've seen in my entire life! Well, except for that one super duper fancy party that had TVs and streamers and cannons and..." Pinkie, as she had done before with Sofie, started monologuing the details of this so called 'fancy party', not knowing that the elevator had opened up and people were walking in it. By the time she finished with, "...but these windows are wayyy more fancier!", the elevator was already closing and leaving them all behind.

...oh. Well, then. How was Pinkie supposed to look for her party cannon now?

She forgot all about the elevator problem, though, when Claude spoke to her again and complimented her. She gave off a bright smile to react to this, saying happily, "Rays of sunshine always help in any situation! Except for sunburns. And ice-cream. And anything cold in general. But, but! You should never let anything get you down easily!"

The man then seemed to notice something beyond her and walked away, going over to what he found interested in. Curious as to what it was now, Pinkie turned her head towards the direction Claude was and had her face lighten up at what she saw. The elevator! It didn't completely leave them alone! She could find her party cannon again!

As Faust gestured and started marching towards the door, Pinkie gave a little salute as if she were in the army, marching in place behind Faust while trying to match her footsteps with his. "Yes, sir!!" Apparently mimicking a soldier now, Pinkie put her hands behind her back and tried to maintain a serious facial expression throughout her "march". This deemed next to impossible for Pinkie, though, as she almost immediately broke out in a wide smile, grinning from ear to ear as if marching behind a man with a paper bag over his head was the happiest activity ever.

By the time they got into the elevator, Pinkie had completely lost her soldier stance and position, laughing and standing near the back wall. Usagi had already rushed in, prepared to press the buttons, and Claude was lingering nearby, examining the elevator. Why did the man call it a "contraption", though? Did he forget the name for it?

"It's called an elevator!" Pinkie piped up from the back, directing it towards Claude. "It's super duper fruper exciting to ride on one!! It's like flying without the flying part. Have you ever ridden one before? How many have you ridden? Where have you ridden them? Have you seen others riding them?" After this series of questions, she then put both of her arms up in the air and cheered, "Woo-hoo! Elevators forever!!"

Shinobu Oshino
1645526495456.png
Shinobu giggled a bit in response to the bald man's comment about the gods. "Gods? Smiling? Thou wouldst hope not, as a god tends only smile at that he seeketh to take as his own." She stepped away from the door, with a side effect of putting a little bit of distance between her and the bald stranger. "As for being 'friends', you need not act like the altruistic sort around me. You reek of the stench of an oddity, and until I truly know what it is you are and want, all I can trust you to do is to seek whatever benefits you most of all. Quite honestly, you would best expect the same from me, lest one of us end up stabbed from behind by the other."

Shinobu took seat on the bed she had prior awoken on, crossing one leg over the other and crossing her arms, giving the bald merchant a smug and amused look. "Thou claimed to be trustworthy however, thus I might offer thee a chance to prove mine instincts wrong by letting you lead exploration of the unknown. Should not be a problem, no?" She normally would not have hesitated to simply attempt walk out of the room under normal circumstances, but seeing as Shinobu was in this with another oddity proclaiming a dubious title of 'trusty', thus she deemed it of benefit to give the man a chance to prove useful. "As for name, you may refer to me as Kiss-Shot Acerola-Orion Heart-Under-Blade. Kiss-Shot if it should prove too lengthy for thine tongue."

Louise hurried to the elevator, filing in with the second group. She was not going to be left alone during all this - not again. The sweater-clad figure huddled in one of the corners. She was used to small spaces - and at least this one had lights in it.

Ding!

As the elevator arrived, Louise stared, perplexed, at the screen. Talking to no one in particular, she asked, "...hey, what's that - glowy rectangle thing?" She remembered seeing something similar on an outing - a road trip, maybe? There was one in the van, at least.

Stiles Stilinski

Stiles had a feeling that there was something strange about this place, but it was confirmed when the girl (who still hadn't said her name) said it was a video. Thankfully, the strange elevator worked and he paused for a second. It seemed there was a monitor asking for ID. Would just standing in front of it work? " I hope that we didn't need to take anything from upstairs," he mumbled, as he waited until after Usagi, the girl who had been his roommate would scan herself first and he would follow suit after.

The elevator continued to run normally without error for those who followed.

Clementine eyed Usagi, at a bit of a loss for the girl's demeanor. She, like many of the others, seemed to be taking an apparent kidnapping with no apparent alarm. It left Clementine wondering where exactly these people were from. None of these people seemed like they fit at all in the world she was familiar with.
The monitor quickly seemed to register Usagi's face.

Tsukino Usagi.

Player status recognized. Issuing VIP tablet.

A slot under the the monitor opened up and deposited a small object. It looked like a thin, modern cellular phone. It seemed to use facial recognition software or thumbprint recognition to turn on. The home screen showed Usagi's name and face. It also stated her VIP STATUS, which was currently LEVEL 1. It didn't have many functions, just the ability to check profiles. Upon checking the profiles app, one would be taken to a list of people.

Stiles was then issued the same item, except this one had a different physical design and was matched to him. As no one was stepping up after Stiles, the monitor changed what it read.

Louise hesitantly stepped up to the monitor. This monitor could see signs of life, which either meant she was in someone else's body or that everyone else would have to be cool with a lot of things very fast. She wasn't dying when she came here, she was dead. How would she even begin to explain that, let alone be able to tell everyone she wasn't some sort of monster like that pyramid thing? She stared at the screen and gave a weak, clearly nervous smile.

She turned her new phone-thingy over in her hands. It was plain, dark green on the outside, and smooth to the touch, so she took a moment or two to fidget with it, running a finger absentmindedly along the edge. "...it's pretty."

NvXaUck.jpg

Much like the blonde girl she interacted with, Nana was also distracted by Faust. Although it was not the loud whistling noise but the content of his speech that fully grasped her attention. She already gathered a decent amount of information from all the conversations going around her, but Faust's words were a big help in enabling her to understand their situations a lot clearer.

While her mind was running hard on the concept of multiverses and everyone's powers and abilities, both from their conversations and potential results after the "dysfunction" mentioned by Faust, Nana still paid enough attention to her surrounding to notice a group of people going down the elevator one after another. Seeing that, she also wanted to go down and explore the area as soon as possible, but then there was this blonde girl that went back to trembling in fear. In this unfamiliar place with a lot of uncertain factors, having even one more ally meant a lot. Nana who understood that approached the girl again

The moment Nana's hand reached that small shoulder, her teal eyes suddenly widened. It was like that time when there was her own poisoned needle pointing right between her eyes, or when that immortal f-boy cornered her in front of everyone with almost perfect deductions. In other word, a physiologic response when a human or animal is experiencing a life-or-death situation. Except this time it literally came out of nowhere.

No matter the type of sensation, if it is continuous then the first stimulus will always be strongest. Nana managed to prevent herself from expressing anything beyond the widened eyes and maybe a bit of sweating as her body slowly getting used to the unexplained sense of dread. Considering her immense amount of psychological training, something that forced an uncontrolled reaction out of her without being weakened or exhausted was definitely not normal. Is it this girl's ability? Considering that everyone here had their weapons taken and their powers downgraded, could this girl's true ability be some sort of powerful attack that triggered on contact? Was it the source of her insecurity she had seen so far? Nah, that should be—

Trying her best to not reflexively pull her hand back, Nana managed to gently touch the blonde girl. Based on that incredible amount of insecurity, this girl should have some sort of relative or caretaker that was very close to her, and because of that, it didn't seem like she is used to decision making or normal communication and relationship with people. If that's the case, then whether she could make the girl feel safe will make or break this befriending attempt.

srMa54F.jpg

"It's ok, no one going to hurt you." With the perfect tone and air, Nana landed the most crucial line in order to make an unstable individual psychologically open up to her. In her live training, Nana had stopped both a suicidal attempt and a rampaging drug addict with this exact line. Right after that, Nana withdrew her hand without showing any sign of relieving herself from that fearful sense of dread as she maintained her friendly and harmless air as best as she could. Although, considering some figures from before, perhaps she just told one of the biggest lie ever...

"If you don’t mind, can we become friends? My name is Nana, Hiiragi Nana."

This conversation could continue for some time. In fact, the longer it take the better chance for Nana to get closer to this innocent girl. Unfortunately, it would be short-lived as she noticed the rather short figure of her roommate walking toward the elevator.

"Let's go." Nana gestured the blonde girl to follow her. While pulling her directly was clearly the better choice here, that fearful sense was something she wanted to avoid if possible. Besides, the pink-haired girl was well-versed in body language and art of psychology. Even without any voice, the gesture she used could be subconsciously perceived as "Let's go together. Don't worry, I will protect you!"

ussiggo.jpg

Walking out of the descended elevator, Nana's observed the entire area and quickly spotted the monitor. What written there gave her some eerie feeling, but she still stepped in front of it as instructed.

Staring at the word "player" for a while, the pink girl then inspected the device she just received. Wasn't this her own smartphone? No, that's not it. Nana soon verified that aside from external appearance, they shared nothing in common. After that, she looked for Marie and Shinoa, in order to return to the former's side as soon as possible and maybe continue chatting with her until this "lock down" thing was over. As for the latter... well, let's just hope another mischievous act could be prevented before it started....

Stiles was surprised that the strange machine gave him what seemed like a cross between a modern cell phone and a tablet. It was big enough to fit in his hand and it seemed to only have apps on it. He would decided to check to see what the girls name was and then would look to see that it had a blue case with a baseball bat on it along with a sticker of his face. Weird, but he would take it.

"Yes, kill." Atsushi had replied, returning Pinkie's look of horror with a tilt of the head as he had studied her, as if momentarily gazing through her to some extent before he had been distracted by the elevator and whatnot.

The way she had looked at him didn't phase him much, as he had killed others before for slightly different reasons.

Atsushi frowned as he read the monitors screen, before stepping forward. If this 'lockdown' ended, that'd mean more areas would be open to them then, and maybe they could find another way out, right? Yet...this didn't sit right with him.

Staring down at the device it spit out, he turned it over in his hands. The back was white, with black tiger stripes, but that was it. He never really had a phone or tablet before, so this was new.

He fiddled with it a moment trying to see his own profile.

Was he being watched before he was brought here? How much did their captor now? Was the tampering with powers part of an ability they, or possibly an ally of their's, had?

How much did they know?

Sera had at one point finally drifted out of the conversation that had been going on between the witch and the priest. Every argument like that always boiled down to "blah blah blah! I am so mighty and virtuous! That means I am right!" The young rogue had no patience for that and instead started to hum a tune to block out what they were saying.

She didn't think much about the elevator ride or the change of venue either. Sera did quip up though when some sort of strange device was handing out something. "Oh! Me next! Me next!" The phone she got had a really fancy wood finish around it. As Sera got it in her hands, however. "So what is this?" Flipping it around and holding it upside down Sera did her best to try and figure out the piece of technology. "No, wait no one help! I'll figure it out myself." After a few minutes of fiddling Sera did manage to figure it out and with some heavy flourish made her way towards her own profile and gave a nod at what it said. "Fair, I suppose. Not very nice to spy on me though!" She shouted into the room.

Then she opened up Wanda's profile and snorted. "What a bunch of bull shite."

Kirei Kotomine

Kotomine merely gave a soft chuckle in response to Wanda's attempt at a rebuttal, but otherwise did not press the issue. It was not something he was immediately eager to discuss with someone he had essentially just met, but Kotomine had a gnawing feeling that he would come to know her, and the others within this strange place, much more than any of them would have liked very soon, and more than that, the man sensed something in the Scarlet Witch that he found intriguing, though not even he could put a finger on what it was. The trails she'd faced, the trauma she'd been forced to endure, he was curious of it all.

But then, perhaps he simply had it out for people who considered themselves heroes of justice.

The priest had only realized how distracted he had become when he saw that some of the other lost souls here had managed to get the elevator down the hall working, and just as quickly as it dropped down, it rose up again as though inviting the rest of them to follow suit. With little other recourse, Kotomine also chose to venture into the elevator and down into the lower floor, following the group into the new, large room.

He said nothing and made sure his expression gave away nothing as well, not even letting any potential apprehension show on his face despite the situation they all found themselves in, the kind that one might call distressing. Kotomine thrived on that sort of distress, but when it was him on the receiving end, he only felt irritation, a desire to get back at whoever would toy him like this, and move on with his life. But for now, all he could do was follow along like a puppet, and do as the strange monitor suggested.

Loath as the ever composed man was to admit it, a moment like this was perhaps where he was out of his element. Though he knew his year to be 2004, he may as well have been as technologically advanced as that Sophie child who claimed to be of 1984. He was, after all, a man more acquainted with magecraft than modern technology, and one who lacked worldly desires to begin with. He wasn't about to admit he didn't even know what a "Blu-Ray" was.

That said, he simply mimicked what everyone else did, and stepped in front of the monitor, allowing his identity to be scanned and verified. Once the so-called VIP Tablet appeared before him, a thin metal tablet, Kotomine took it quizzically, unsure of how to even make use of it. Stepping out of the way for the others to verify themselves next, he stood next to Sera and watched her make use of it, as well as taking notice of her... colorful comments.

"Yes, it does bring one to ponder how our... benefactors have come to know so much about us, and how their influence can reach beyond different worlds so easily," Kotomine said idly to the woman, before looking toward her wryly. "That all aside... it appears you seem less than fond of the witch in red, if you do not mind my observing."

"You got guidance from your god to figure that out?" Sera remarked off-hand to Kotomine as she was still trying to get the phone to work. "I see where the 'patronizing' comes in. 'Cause really it's not fucking hard to spy on people, is it? People in hoods skulking about, unseen and all that." The priest was not high on her list of people either, but considering most of the group here the list of people she actually wanted to speak to was a short one.

Clementine joined the others in scanning, though in truth she didn't quite understand what it was. She had some familiarity with technology but anything like this was only something she had experienced as a kid. When she got her tablet, she knew what it was at the very least, but the prospect of using it was an admittedly exciting idea. Hers was plain and purple, though she noticed on the back there seemed to be a couple stickers that looked rather familiar to her. Where they were from her memory escaped her for now.

Opening up the profile application, Clementine saw a list of all the people here. Listed was their name, age, title, and presumably three descriptive words of who they were. This clearly went beyond a mere kidnapping.

All life signs verified.

Lock-down ending. Please enjoy your stay.

The door beside the monitor unlocked, as did the baby carriage door and washing machine door. Unfortunately for Frank, the ticket door remained locked. The gate to the restaurant slid open, allowing the group inside. A new application opened on the tablets, labeled MAP. Upon opening the new application, a map of the area was shown.

Main.png

A whole new space was available to the group. From the reception, the group would walk into a large and spacious hall where both the walls and floors were made of solid concrete. The open space went in a circle around a giant oval, though the upper-right quadrant was locked behind a gate and no one could see what was in that section of the building. There were two exits on the East and West sides of the building, though these were locked. The exits themselves were giant and metal, with bars making walkways just beyond the exit, as if one would need to line up if entering the building. There was also a flight of stairs in the upper-left quadrant, though these too were locked by a gate. Finally, there was a door to enter the middle section of the building, though this too was locked.

Of the rooms now unlocked included... Reception, the Bedrooms, the Restaurant, the Laundry Room, the Day-Care Center, the North/South Washrooms, a Café, a Gift Shop, a Sporting Goods Store, an Office, a Gym, and the Gym's Storage Room.

Louise stepped into the main area, eyes wide as she awkwardly turned in a circle, taking everything in. "...whoa. This is incredible." She faintly wondered if this place was as big as the Manor, or even bigger. After a few more minutes of staring, she wandered over towards the office. Maybe whoever, or whatever brought them here left some paperwork behind.

Claude Von Riegan

Ultimate Stratigist

Claude merely gave a nod toward Frank. It was difficult to wrap his head around these different types of powers people had. He hadn't had a chance to react to much else before everylne started getting into line to recieve their...IDs? When he recieved his he couldn't help but notice how the system had a list of everyone on it. Navigating the screens was new to him but he could make out a picture of everyone, their title and three words about them. Wait...how did it know them? They had only been here for maybe an hour or so at best. It made him all the more suspicious aboit their kidnapper.
He glanced at his new device, which also seemed to be customized to his liking, having a yellow base with gold accents that looked quite similar to his weapon, Failnaught. And why was there a charm that was shaped like a wyvern on it? It was as if the thing knew that he had a wyvsrn in his world. This was even more suspicious.

Once everyone had gotten their devices, Claude looked up when he sas that their world had expanded further and the device seemed to ping him with a map of the area. The icons were a bit foriegn to him but it seemed to know he didn't have knowledge of the tech gor it had a simple guide on the bottom telling him what the icons were. All of these facilities were just...here? Yet they were kidnapped against their wills with no way home. This wasn't making much sense to him.

"Guess we'd best start looking around, huh..." he said aloud. He didn't really know where to go first. There didn't seem to be any libraries to look at for information and this device wasn't giving any other information other than their map. He decided to head toward the office. That would probably be the best shot at getting any other intel.

Office - themagnoliaofutah themagnoliaofutah , Icee Icee

The office was not a particularly special room. The main section was made up of cubicles and desks, though it was unclear what kind of office work people did here considering that the room was bare of files or technology. In fact, the only piece of equipment at all was a lone printer. The sides of the room held private office spaces, though all were empty except for one. The biggest private room, labelled the Conference Room on the door, held a large table with thirty-two chairs. There was a single piece of paper on the table that read.

Bring everyone to the conference room so that we may begin!
