My Interest Check
Alright folks! I'm a little new here, and this is my way of getting involved, saying hi, and generally trying to chat and find kindred creative minds.

To start out, I'd love to hear about favorite books, movies, games, anime, etc.
Go wild.

I'll start.

I have a particularly eclectic mix of tastes across multiple forms and genres. I admit to a fondness of SAO, so yes I'm an anime fan. I also like Clannad and the old Macross series. I'm also a hardcore fan of OG Halo, Titanfall, and Lord of the Rings. Aaaand yes, each interest has spawned a wild mix of RP experiences! One you might not have heard about though is the Leviathan Trilogy Novels, by Scott Westerfeld

My favorites are Wander Over Yonder due to fact they have different kind of alien races and I really love Sci fi which is
Interesting to me.

Other one I love the most is War Of The Worlds 2005 movie. Tom Cruise is one of my favorite actors and the way the aliens and the tripods/Uberpods design were made.

I can see the War of the Worlds fan status in your profile picture. XD It was absolutely an interesting film though, a very "edge of your seat" movie.

I have some eclectic tastes, I am sorry for the long list but I love chatting about this stuff! :D
  • Books: The Discworld series by Terry Pratchett, the How to Survive Camping tetralogy by Bonnie Quinn, the Jeeves & Wooster series by P. G. Wodehouse... For singular books I might have to go with A Night in the Lonesome October by Roger Zelazny. (And as a bonus, my favorite short story is "It" by Theodore Sturgeon!)
  • Movies: Ju-on, Thir13en Ghosts, Nimona, Inside Out (both movies but especially 2), and a bunch of other Disney movies (especially Lilo & Stitch, The Great Mouse Detective, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and Hercules)
  • Visual Novels: Slay the Princess
  • Video Games: The Pokémon games (I am looooving Pokémon Scarlet right now!), Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines, Bloodborne, Shadow of Destiny, Night in the Woods, Nights into Dreams, Balan Wonderworld, the Fatal Frame games, Don't Starve Together, and Bugsnax
  • Tabletop Roleplaying Games: Monster of the Week, The Happiest Apocalypse on Earth, Spire: The City Must Fall, and The Dreadful Secrets of Candlewick Manor
  • Anime: Re:Zero, Puella Magi Madoka Magica, School-Live!, Yamishibai, Kowabon, Rokka no Yuusha, The Tatami Galaxy
  • Cartoons: The Spectacular Spider-Man, Mummies Alive!, Highlander: The Animated Series, Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
  • Live-Action TV: Kindred: The Embraced
  • Miniseries: Midnight Mass and The Haunting of Hill House
  • Webcomics: The Last Halloween
  • Bands & Singers: VoicePlay, Charming Disaster, Mega Mango, Dodie, Madilyn Mei, Chonny Jash, Mother Mother, Will Wood, Streetlight Manifesto, ThouShaltNot, Seeming, Stars, Jhariah, Firewater, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, The Weakerthans, Ricky Montgomery, The Truffles, Faouzia, Foxtails Brigade, Natalia Lafourcade, Amazarashi, Kama-sama I Have Noticed, Ghost and Pals, Riproducer... (I really love music!)

Oh it is! I love it so much. And was hoping in future they’ll be a roleplay of it with my ocs :)

The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Oooooh that takes me back. I remember watching that one with my mother, father, and siblings as a pre-teen. A family favorite. We bonded over classics like that all the time. Still do. My sister and I were particularly fond of, Lilo & Stitch too. Misty water-colored memories... heheh.

Thanks for the little reminder. A very pleasant moment.
