Alright, so here's an idea.
Your character is a female knight from a fairly typical fantasy setting (the kind with dragons and castles and whatnot) who finds herself in another world. The way she does is up to you, be it magical portals, freak accidents, anything. The world she ends up in happens to be modern Earth.
Except that it isn't really.
See, this Earth is one virtually identical to our own, but with one major difference: the existence of cryptids and the things we call monsters. Pretty much every mythical creature exists, from dragons to werewolves to vampires, they all live on this Earth. The thing is that these creature eventually faded into myth as humanity began to become the dominant species, now seen as nothing but stories, the stuff of legend. To keep up this facade and to ensure that humanity does not find out about the truth, the Cryptid Intervention and Response Unit (CITRON) was formed, a shadowy international organisation that effectively operates behind the scenes to protect humanity from threats. The group effectively controls most of the world, as they can influence the world's governments. Specialised operatives pulled from the best the world has to offer are sent to hunt down dangerous creatures, or conduct diplomacy with the ones who don't pose a threat.
When your character, the knight, essentially pops out of thin air right in the middle of a meeting between CITRON's heads, the organisation struggles to find a way to solve this new development, and the plot basically starts proper from there.
On a side note, the setting was inspired by the SCP Foundation.

Now, there are a few things you should know first:
- I'm typically a high-casual writer, so I usually expect at least a paragraph. I absolutely loathe one-liners. If you speedpost a one-liner, I swear I will come to your house at night.
- I pretty much don't really give a shit about violence, since my writings will typically contain a heavy dose of it.
- I don't really like explicit sexual things. Don't get me wrong, I tolerate pretty much anything, but I simply don't know how to write for that.
- If you write in first person or present tense, I will kill you in your sleep.
- My settings tend to be rather dark and gritty, and quite far on the realistic and cynical side.
- Proper grammar and spelling. Seriously, you should have learned the use of proper grammar in school if you're a native English speaker. If you're not, I can understand, but still exercise the use of proper English.
- I am quite particular when choosing partners. If I turn you down, tough luck, but don't take any offence.
